The second full-length studio album by Brazilian Black/Speed Metal band.
Blackened Speed Metal band from Brazil, featuring prominent members of the Underground scene, who have spent time with Whipstriker, Apocalyptic Raids, Comando Nuclear and Bordel Inferno.
Like on their debut “Babalon Working” (2016), the band following the path of the first wave of Black Metal, namely Venom and Hellhammer have a huge impact on the nine tracks. Some people have characterized Cult Of Horror as Blackened Speed Metal, but there are also some Doom Metal parts, as well as riffs Darkthrone would have been proud.
The lyrical themes used are the usual heresies, blasphemies, satanic rituals, horrible diseases, scalpels, a little gore and so on.

The second full-length studio album by Swedish Heavy/Doom Metal band.
Unlike the band’s debut album, "A Vow Of Vengeance", where the Swedes demonstrated their affection for pure Heavy Metal prowess in the name of what is truly sacred, and that is the genre, this here “Angelbane” tells a different story, and actually is a singular story on its whole. This time amassing to their growing army, Cult Of The Fox took notice of the darkness of traditional Heavy Metal and carried it with them to the field of battle, also with one guitarist short. Alongside the Iron Maiden, Hammerfall, Manowar and Saxon-ish orchestrations, the band rallied early Mercyful Fate (merely “Don’t Break The Oath”) and early Iced Earth characterizations and portrayals. Notwithstanding, Cult Of The Fox maintained their sheer attacking sound of 80s traditional Metal, the smothering crisp that sounds so rich and appealing. Moreover, “Angelbane” is a step forward in the band’s life cycle.
"Angelbane" is an impressive piece of traditional Metal music, ready and waiting for your loving ears to listen. 80s fans should adore this one and embrace it strongly!

The album was originally set to be released in 1988, under the name "Kindred Spirit", but was delayed until 1989 and the songs from the initial project were reworked.
On "True Colors", Cyndi Lauper began to edge her way into adult contemporary territory, but it was on "A Night To Remember" that she concentrated all of her attention on becoming a self-consciously "mature" singer/songwriter. 
Although the album is called "A Night To Remember", Lauper jokingly preferred to call it "A Night To Forget", given its poor reviews and disappointing sales, compounded by the problems she encountered with producer and boyfriend David Wolf⁠f during the production of the album.
The album sold moderately well but did not enjoy the same commercial success of her two previous albums, despite the success of the album's lead Single, "I Drove All Night", which became a Top 10 hit, her last in the U.S.A., earning Lauper a Grammy nomination. In the UK, however, "A Night To Remember" was Lauper's highest-charting album, peaking at No.9. According to the book "St. James Encyclopedia of Popular Culture (Volume 3)", the album sold half a million copies in the United States in 1989.
Although not certified by RIAA, BPI, and others trade associations, the album was certified Platinum in Australia and United Kingdom and Gold in Germany, Italy, and United States. Worldwide, the album has sold more than 1.5 million copies.

The album debuted at #38 on the Billboard 200 with 47 000 copies sold in its first week, while the song "Walk On By" hit #10 on Billboard's "Hot Dance Club Play". By 2012, it had sold 276 000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
In 2008, Lauper said in an interview with Brazilian newspaper "Extra" that the album was a special project, with the intervention of the record company, and that she does not consider it as a "career album".

Hazard wrote it as a Rock song coming from the male perspective. Singer-songwriter Cyndi Lauper made this song famous in 1983 by as a Pop-Electronic song. Lauper "flipped the script" and made it carry a feminist attitude by subtly changing some of the lyrics and fully the sound. Lauper's version gained recognition as a feminist anthem and was promoted by an MTV Video Music Award–winning music video. It has been covered by more than 30 other artists.
The single was Lauper's breakthrough hit, reaching No. 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and becoming a worldwide hit throughout late 1983 and early 1984. It is considered one of Lauper's signature songs and was a popular song during the 1980s.
The lists "Rolling Stone and MTV: '100 Greatest Pop Songs': 1–50", "Rolling Stone: The 100 Top Music Videos" and "VH1: 100 Greatest Videos" ranked the song at No. 22, No. 39 and No. 45 respectively. The song received Grammy nominations for Record of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 27th Annual Grammy Awards.
The song's success overshadowed Hazard's own music career. "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" was nominated for Record of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, and "Time After Time" was nominated for Song of the Year. Lauper earned ten MTV Video Music Award nominations. "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" received six nominations, including Video of the Year, and won for Best Female Video. "Time After Time" received three nominations and "She Bop" received one nomination.

Rolling Stone also placed "She's So Unusual" at number 41 on its 2002 list of "50 Essential Albums by Women in Rock", and the record retained the placement on a similar list published by the magazine a decade later. In 2012, Slant Magazine listed it as the 22nd Best Album of the 1980s, calling it an "absolutely peerless collection of profound Pop jewels". In 2019, the Library of Congress selected "She's So Unusual" for preservation in the National Recording Registry for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
