Band manifested itself previously by a number of gigs. From the first tones it becomes obvious that Crypt Of Silence follow the traditions of Doom/Death Metal, moreover, they are oriented to the classical work by Mourning Beloveth "The Sullen Sulcus" taking their inspiration from this masterpiece. Rejecting keyboards the musicians concentrate on solid rhythmic guitar riffs expressing the original raw and sullen power of Doom/Death Metal, with addition of guitar solos and clean guitar strings interludes to complete the impression from the music.

Very melodic, sympathetic music. Mid-tempo, slightly keyboard, some clean vocals (reminds a bit of Mark Empyrium), a little medieval times in between. Medieval sound patterns woven into harder Metal to sound that demands respect already, frequently to Crematory recalls in its early stages. Keyboard bombastic and a killer melody revive the songs.

The second full-length studio album by Swedish Heavy/Doom Metal band.
Unlike the band’s debut album, "A Vow Of Vengeance", where the Swedes demonstrated their affection for pure Heavy Metal prowess in the name of what is truly sacred, and that is the genre, this here “Angelbane” tells a different story, and actually is a singular story on its whole. This time amassing to their growing army, Cult Of The Fox took notice of the darkness of traditional Heavy Metal and carried it with them to the field of battle, also with one guitarist short. Alongside the Iron Maiden, Hammerfall, Manowar and Saxon-ish orchestrations, the band rallied early Mercyful Fate (merely “Don’t Break The Oath”) and early Iced Earth characterizations and portrayals. Notwithstanding, Cult Of The Fox maintained their sheer attacking sound of 80s traditional Metal, the smothering crisp that sounds so rich and appealing. Moreover, “Angelbane” is a step forward in the band’s life cycle.
"Angelbane" is an impressive piece of traditional Metal music, ready and waiting for your loving ears to listen. 80s fans should adore this one and embrace it strongly!
