After the successful EP "Burst", Crawler comes back with a excellent full-length album", inspired by the novel by Terry Brooks "A Knight Of The Word".
Crawler is basically an Italian successor to the throne of Iron Maiden. Not only the style is simply the same, Claudio Cesari even has that Dickinson's distinctive scream. Now, if you like Maiden, there's no way you will deny that Crawler makes a decent music here based on Maiden's template!
The opening track, "Crawler", is a good one example. The next one, "Speed", started to pick up the momentum. The solos are bright and brilliant and the whole fast-paced song is tremendous. On "Danger! (On Elm Street)", you can hear "Fear Of The Dark" vibe on the slow start before they outbreak with lightning-fast tempo. "Burst" and "Angels In Paradise" are safe and average, but "Cagliostoro" is another example of Maiden-colored track that was done perfectly well.
If only Crawler has the courage to try their own ingredients, "Knight of The Word" could be a better album. Even though the title track and "Masters of The Night" are absolutely great tracks, the teacher's influence is too obvious. Anyway no one bad tracks inside.
Good album, where the band shows that talents are there, and time is going to prove whether they can level up or decline.

The third full-length album by the Swedish Glam Metal band.
Over the last few years or so, it seems that Sweden – traditionally known for its contribution to the more Extreme realms of Metal – has experienced somewhat of a Hair Metal revival. Some of it has been quite horrible, however, quite a lot of it has been beyond excellent; and falling into this later camp, along with veterans Harcore Superstar and the insanely awesome Crashdiet, is Malmo’s Crazy Lixx. The band’s third album, doesn’t quite match up to their previous offering, the outstanding "New Religion" (2010), but that’s only because that album was so damn good, and otherwise "Riot Avenue" is another great release from one of the scene’s best and most exciting bands. 
"Riot Avenue," for all its gloss and polish, sees the band taking a much more reserved, Bluesy, Hard Rock approach to their music, as opposed to the huge Bubblegum, Pop-Metal anthems of "New Religion" and "Loud Minority." AC/DC seems to be of particular influence, specifically on “Young Blood” and “In The Night", whose main riff and bass break may as well have been lifted directly from “Let there Be Rock". All the while though, the Swedes blend this new aesthetic with their tried and true, Mötley Crüe, Punk Rock, street imagery and Def Leppard quality song writing and production to create something that is at once so camp and so sincere. The songs are, for the most part, entirely predictable and beyond overblown.
There’s just so much energy and excitement packed into the album, that the familiar predictability of the songs actually works to its advantage; continuously titillating the listener while all the time guaranteeing a huge, if comfortable, payoff. 
"Riot Avenue" may not be the most creative or original of releases, but it isn’t meant to be. What it’s meant to be is a celebration of this kind of music and above all fun, and in this respect it delivers in spades. If you’ve ever enjoyed anything by Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Skid Row or anything of that ilk, then "Riot Avenue" is not to be missed!!

The third full-length studio album by Italian Epic Doom Metal band.
Crimson Dawn was born in 2005 and shows passion for Epic traditional Doom Metal. Their debut album was mastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound Studio, took the Heavy Metal world by storm with its heavy riffs paired with epic and sullen melodies. In 2014, the band promoted their first official release by playing in great Doom festivals like Play It Doom Festival and Malta Doom Metal Festival.
Though the band’s sound is definitely rooted in Doom, the energy and larger than life songs, that are so often associated with Power Metal, is definitely on display here.  Combine that with thick, huge riffs and tight songwriting, then what you have is a Doom album of extremely high quality and replay ability.
With the good songwriting, “Inverno” sounds pretty damn great and smooth. The pacing of the album itself is perfect, as is the running time of 46 mins or so.  Their vocalist has one of the best clean voices in the business. In essence, this is just one of those albums that is fun (that isn’t a word  associated with the often morose Doom Metal genre, but it fits here because you can press play on “Inverno”, and not have to worry about skipping a track) - just sit back and enjoy the high-class Doom Metal!
“Inverno” will entertain you from the first note to the last, and you couldn’t get enough of it.  Any fan of this style of Doom or Heavy Metal needs to add this to their “get” list immediately!  Highly recommended!!

After releasing the debut album, “Crossing the Sky”, many musicians went through the Crimson Valley. In May 2013, Loki leaves the band, and Ewa Kleszcz becomes new Crimson Valley singer. After many concerts at next two years, in autumn 2014 Crimson Valley begins work on a new record, "Halls Of Victory", that was released on April 2015 under a new label.
