The third full-length studio album by Italian Melodic Death/Doom Metal band.
The band from Brescia, Lombardy, continues exploring dark fantasies of the talented musicians. Demonstrating significant progress and development, (EchO) created a mosaic canvas on a melodic Death Doom Metal base, filled with outstanding melodies and intersections with different styles, with a touch of psychedelia and a perfect combination of fragility and brutality (both in music and vocals).
Carefully crafted arrangements ensured by the coherence and skills of the musicians are the unique feature of (EchO), that was perfected by Greg Chandler (Esoteric), who performed mixing and mastering in Priory Recording Studio.
If you’re a fan of bands like My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, Katatonia and Opeth, there’s something on this album for you, and you should definitely check it out!

The fourth full-length album by cult Canadian Power/Heavy Metal band.
Like oh so many Heavy Metal bands armed with a certain vision but no realistic commercial potential, 3 Inches of Blood's brush with the big time nearly killed them. After playing a vital but largely unacknowledged role in reinvigorating the art of traditional, non-ironic Heavy Metal and Thrash, replete with monster tales and battle lore, via their cult-approved independent 2002 debut, "Battlecry Under A Winter Sun", the Vancouver sextet was smartly snapped up by Roadrunner Records. There followed two creatively laudable but financially underperforming LPs, 2004's "Advance And Vanquish" and 2007's "Fire Up The Blades", at least in the eyes of the former Heavy Metal stronghold, since gone "corporate Rock crazy" due to the unprecedented success of Nickelback. In Roadrunner's defense, their efforts to "professionalize" 3 Inches Of Blood through grueling promotional campaigns and roadwork also exposed the inability of several bandmembers to "cut it", so after being dropped in 2008, it was an almost unrecognizable 3 Inches Of Blood that recorded this fourth long play, "Here Waits Thy Doom", for esteemed indie Metal label Century Media. Longtime fans will notice that the band's typically Thrash-infused war cries ("Battles and Brotherhood", "Call of the Hammer", "Execution Tank") and steroid-pumped modernizations of the Maiden/Priest dual-harmony gallop ("Silent Killer", "Fierce Defender", "All of Them Witches") are now making room for an increasing number of tunes steeped in a more traditional, Rock-based songwriting approach (e.g. "Rock in Hell", "Snake Fighter"). This trend had already been hinted at on 3IOB's previous album, but no one could have foreseen such a radical departure as the almost bluesy "Preacher's Daughter", which marries an unusually deliberate tempo to atypically "of this world" lyrics and eventually builds to an anthemic singalong chorus! Obviously, 3 Inches Of Blood are rolling with the changes and trying to evolve their sound, but the truth is that most all of their familiar sonic hallmarks are still delivered here with poise and power. And while there are several other quality bands competing in the same Extreme retro-Metal killing ground (Skeletonwitch, Black Cobra, etc.), 3 Inches Of Blood will always possess a certain advantage so long as Cam Pipes is the gladiator helming their chariot, with his as yet unchallenged Rob Halford-meets-Udo Dirkschneider vocals.
This is pure and unadulterated Metal for true Metalheads! Highly recommended for fans of: Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Accept!!

Debut full-length studio album by New Zealand Crossover/Thrash Metal band.
The core of the 3000AD writing philosophy is to create memorable and distinct songs as the Thrash masters of old so often did. Band aim to create album that allow you to identify the songs easily by ear rather than an album where all the songs sound very similar.
All three members take part in vocal duties, with drummer Hellmore accounting for the bulk of them. This allows for a chaotic multi-part vocal onslaught, that matches the intensity of the underlying music. The bass guitar also has its own unique voice and is often used almost as a second guitar would be.
“The Void” takes the listener on a journey through a bleak dystopian future. A vision of civilization on the brink of collapse in a desolate and hostile environment. Each subsequent song expands on this theme. From Old School Thrash anthems like “Cells” to the highly Progressive instrumental closer “Born Under a Black Sun”.
The album recorded in studios in Hollywood, California and Auckland, New Zealand, and mastered at the iconic Sterling Sound in New York City. Award winning engineer and producer Clint Murphy mixed the album. The gatefold artwork painted by famed Berlin based artist Eliran Kantor and known for his works for Atheist, GWAR, Hatebreed, Iced Earth, Master, Mekong Delta, Satan, Sigh, Sodom, Testament, and more.

The debut full-length studio album by Italian Melodic Death/Groove Metal band.
A modern sounding mixture of Extreme Metal and melodic elements, with growl and clean vocals, both delivered by Julia Elenoir's female voice.
Headed by the talented, versatile and amazing Julia’s voice, a trademark of band’s sound with her incredible style mixing screams, growl and clean vocals, 5Rand’s sound is an amazing and original interpretation of many other genres, like Death Metal, Thrash Metal, Industrial and Progressive - all put together by a strong and personal vision of the music.
The album moves on modern Thrash Metal coordinates with some Industrial veins and creates a wall of sound, on which the mighty growl of the female singer stands out, tempered by catchy refrains.
Engineered and mixed by Marco Mastrobuono (Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hour of Penance), mastered at Finnvox (Helsinki, Finland) by Mika Jussila (Nightwish, Amorphis, Children of Bodom).
“Sacred / Scared” is a progression of atmospheres and eclectic riffs that are blended inside complex melodic structures and intricate harmonies; instrumental parts come like thunders to complete this Extreme Metal auditive storm.
Without a doubt, one of the best Modern Metal albums of decade!

Debut full-length album by French Stoner Metal band.
"All Channels Off" is the fairly straight-forward Rock-solid kind of debut album, with a not-so-subtle dirty (Stoner) undertone. One thrilling sequence follows right after the other... And before you know it, you'll find yourself driving a pickup truck down a dusty desert highway, giving this tasty album yet another spin.
Already from the first split seconds there's an unmistakable Queens Of The Stone Age, and - to a lesser extent - Kyuss, vibe going on, so you know what you're up for from the start, no surprises. Although...
There are some oddities though. For one, the song "Whisper (And Dig The Ground)" reminds a bit too much to Soundgarden long after their glory years. Anyway, the track feels a bit out of place.
As it turns out, these French "rawkers" make an old formula appear fresh - and they do so with flying colors. 7 Weeks isn't as exactly cutting-edge as far as this particular (niche) genre goes. And it's nothing overly inspiring either. But! Due to the high level of reasonable radio friendliness, the songs do entertain. Plus they keep sticking, y'know - a blessing not given to everyone. If anything else, 7 Weeks will be gettin' your groove on, and that's what matters!

A-HA “Headlines And Deadlines (The Hits Of A-ha)” /LP/
The first official compilation album by legendary Norwegian New Wave band.
Originally, it was released on 4 November 1991 by Warner Bros. Records. It was re-released on 22 September 1998. The new song "Move to Memphis" is featured on this album, and was released as a single in 1991. "Move to Memphis" was later re-recorded for their fifth studio album, "Memorial Beach".
A-ha took "Take on Me" to the number one spot on Billboard's Top 40 in 1985, thanks to the award-winning animated video that accompanied it. Still, A-ha contributed rather accordingly to the '80s Pop sound, drenching their music with bouncy riffs and employing the keyboard as the foundation to their colorful formula. "Headlines And Deadlines: The Hits Of A-ha" assembles all of their singles together, a definite one-stop for all of their music.
Combining ballads and radiant '80s Pop, this set includes their most fervent offering in "The Sun Always Shines on T.V.", which hit number 20 in 1986 and originated from "Hunting High And Low", the same album that included "Take on Me". After this album, the band's next couple of releases, "East of the Sun, West Of The Moon" and "Memorial Beach", were total washouts, which makes this compilation all the more worthy. Other notables include remixed versions of "Hunting High and Low" and "You Are the One", as well as the theme song to "The Living Daylights".
Though comparisons to Duran Duran are difficult to avoid, A-ha did harbor some distinct qualities in their glossy sound, and quite a few of their songs still contain some redeeming factors, but are better appreciated when lined up in compilation form.
The album reached number 12 in the UK Albums Chart.
