Recorded during the band's peak on its Metal Heart Tour in Japan, this mini-album is presented in raw form (absolutely no re-recording or overdubs). It was recorded in Nagoya, Japan, September 19, 1985, and released on vinyl the same year.

Probably the best Cinderella’s album. With "Long Cold Winter", Cinderella started to move away from the Glam Metal music of their previous album and into a more Blues Rock-oriented direction, akin to early 1970s Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Humble Pie, Bad Company and Deep Purple.
The album is simply excellent to listen to from beginning to end, and even the track listings for this album are flawless. Tom Keifer's vocal performance cannot be rivaled by any other singer, and his talent is shown on every song of the album. Each and every song on this album is great!
The album features four singles, which all charted in the US. "Don't Know What You Got (Till It's Gone)", which was to be Cinderella's highest-charting single, reached No. 12, "The Last Mile" reached No. 36, "Coming Home" reached No. 20 and "Gypsy Road" hit No. 51, a year after the release of the album.
Album reached No. 10 in the US and became double Platinum for selling 2 million copies in the US by the end of the year, just as their debut album "Night Songs" had done earlier. It was later certified triple Platinum.

The debut full-length studio album by legendary American Glam Metal band.
Cinderella makes its debut in a flash of lightning and a puff of smoke with "Night Songs"! The first album by the band is easily one of best albums of all time. Why? Because Cinderella breaks new ground in many areas, and does it flawlessly. Most notably for this success is Tom Keifer, the lead singer and guitarist for Cinderella. Not only does Tom write most of the songs for Cinderella, but he also gave Hard Rock and Glam Metal a completely new meaning with his amazing falsetto! His voice has a bit of a growl to it, which at times can send chills down your spine, and also is a voice that nobody has matched.
Featuring a minor guest appearance by Jon Bon Jovi positions the band as a Pop-Metal outfit, but with Cinderella's own personality shows through at this point. 
"Night Songs" sold several million copies due to a combination of Cinderella's breakthrough single "Nobody's Fool", MTV airplay, and an opening slot on label mates Bon Jovi's tour, in support of their album "Slippery When Wet".
Leadoff single "Shake Me" failed to chart, but "Nobody's Fool" cracked the Top 20, reaching #13. Third single "Somebody Save Me" went to #66.
The album peaked at #3 on the US charts on February 7, 1987, and was certified double Platinum for selling 2 million copies there twelve days later. In May 1991, it was certified triple Platinum, having 3 million copies sold.
Cinderella takes Hard Rock and Glam Metal to a whole new level with their brand new, amazing sound. The sound of the album is great! The debut and only full-length studio album by Canadian Heavy Metal band.
Formerly known as Hanover Fist, Hanover is the brainchild of Frank Zirone and the first band in discography of legendary drummer Mike Terrána (Axel Rudi Pell, Haggard, Tony MacAlpine, Yngwie Malmsteen, Masterplan, Metalium, Rage, Squealer, Tarja Turunen, Theodore Ziras and more).
From the start, the album was released as self-titled album (“Hanover Fist”) in Canada only. And later same year, after band change name, it was re-released worldwide as “Hungry Eyes”, with the new cover artwork and one new track (instead two others, that was missed).
The Single "Metal Of The Night" appeared on the soundtrack of a 1984 movie called “The Wild Life”.

The third full-length studio album by legendary German Pop/Disco band.
"Ready For Romance" spawned two singles, "Brother Louie" and "Atlantis Is Calling (S.O.S. for Love)", both of which peaked at number one in Germany and reached the top five in Austria, Sweden and Switzerland.
The album spent five consecutive weeks atop the German chart, and was eventually certified Platinum by the Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI) for shipments in excess of 500,000 copies in Germany. It also topped the charts in Austria and Switzerland, while reaching the top 10 in Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain and Sweden. The album peaked at number 76 on the UK Albums Chart, becoming the band's only album to chart in the United Kingdom.

First re-release of the debut full-length album by legendary Ukrainian Pagan/Folk/Symphonic Black Metal band.
Originally released in 1996 on MC and considered by most as a demo-album, it's a professionally recorded full-length album and highly anticipated cult release requested by fans of elite Slavonic Black Metal, that was reissued on CD for a several times.
"Lunar Poetry" is steeped in moonlight mystery and timeless Slavonic ritualism. This is Black Metal with highly expressive Folk sorrowful melodies. It delivers soaring guitars and apocalyptic keyboard passages. It offers a wide variance in vocals, from screams to whispers and narration, and it breathes the air of originality that Nokturnal Mortum is famous for.
Similar to Limbonic Art in their reliance on rumbling rhythm patterns and keyboard usage, Nokturnal Mortum did a fine job of capturing both - the bleakness of Black Metal, as well as a more ethnic representation of their native Ukrainian Folk music. The music is extremely fluid and tends to lean towards a more majestic and beautiful sound than harshness of Black Metal.
The band also covers Celtic Frost's "Sorrows of the Moon" with a nice degree of skill.
"Lunar Poetry" was way ahead of its time, and even today, it sounds fresh and inspiring. In fact, the result is so startling - it is hard to imagine that this is only Nokturnal Mortum's very first journey into the dark, the ancient and the extreme... Regardless of occasional inexperience that is typical for a demo, "Lunar Poetry" is a beautiful, stirring and impressive album that utterly requires your attention if you have any liking for a keyboard laden Black Metal assault! Without a doubt, "Lunar Poetry" is one of the best Black Metal albums ever!!

The fifth full-length studio album by cult American Melodic Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band.
Despite the record's name, this is actually the band's fifth studio album. However, it is their third major label/worldwide release.
This is the first Quiet Riot album not to feature any cover songs, and the last to feature lead singer Kevin DuBrow until the 1993 album “Terrified”. It’s also the first Quiet Riot album to feature Chuck Wright, formerly of Giuffria, who replaced Rudy Sarzo on bass as an official member - prior to this, he had performed some uncredited bass work on the band's earlier albums. He would rejoin the band on an on/off basis over the years, and is in the current version of the band.
A heavier emphasis on keyboards suggests the band was trying to keep in step with such other chart topping bands as Night Ranger and Bon Jovi, as evidenced by the popular MTV video - stadium hymn "The Wild and the Young", and the more restrained "Twilight Hotel".
Although "QR III" was greeted favorably by their remaining fans, the album failed to match the mega-sales of their major label debut album. Following the massive success of "Metal Health" and the more modest reception of "Condition Critical" (which failed to duplicate "Metal Health"'s success, but still went top 20 and receive a Platinum certification), sales of "QR III" were even lower, reaching only No. 31 on the US charts. It marked Quiet Riot's final plunge away from stardom as the band's following releases would not enter the charts at all. With constant bickering behind the scenes, DuBrow was handed his walking papers shortly after the ensuing tour ended.

The second full-length album by American AOR band.
Urgent gelled when Michael and Steve Kehr, formerly of Sterling, pulled other brother Don along for "Cast The First Stone", a great debut produced by the storied Ian Hunter. Hunter hauls old bro Mick Ronson, the guitarist from Hull, 'round again for Urgent's sophomore effort "Thinking Out Loud". Already jaded by the '80s, Hunter found the first album sessions to be a soulless experience, feeling records and radio were closed books. As a result, the royal duo's workload lightens to only co-authoring three tracks: "If This Is Love," "Inch by Inch", and "Pain (Love Is a Victim)" - the last intended for a future Hunter/Ronson project. Judas Priest helmsman Tom Allon handles production. Ensnaring no fanfare or air time, and lacking the snap of the first record, "Thinking Out Loud" disappeared instantly, along with Urgent, though the band maintains status in esoteric AOR circles.
However, this album has a good range. We can find very nice combination of tunes here, and be in love with tracks like "Running Back" for it's awesome keyboards and pre-chorus. "If This Is Love" is a great ballad. You'll can't forget the catchy "Give'em Enough Rope" for a great contributions. Still, this album is good one to have in your collection!

American edition of the debut full-length album by the cult German Hard ‘n’ Heavy band.
Victory was a band that should have become a household name in the United States but just never quite made it to the top. Even though they had a great career in Europe, the audience in the U.S.A. was never quite as accepting.
After releasing their successful self-titled debut album in 1985, they came back even stronger with “Don’t Get Mad… Get Even” and released the single “The Check’s in the Mail”. The song immediately charted and became a huge radio hit and the future looked bright for this band full of talented musicians.
Consisting of Herman Frank (Accept) on guitar, Charlie Huhn on vocals, Tommy Newton on guitar, Peter Knorn on bass, and Fritz Randow on drums, Victory proved to be as formidable as anyone on the circuit.
It’s still a mystery why this band is not mentioned alongside some of the mainstays of the “hair band” time period. If you were one of the fans who got “on board” back in the 80’s, you know what to expect with this re-release! If you are new to Victory and “Don’t Get Mad… Get Even”, you are in for a surprise, as this hard-edged, 80’s style Rock 'n' Roll will be an easy listen!!
