The first re-release of the third full-length studio album by legendary Dutch Death Metal band.
After releasing the now-timeless classic “Consuming Impulse” in 1989, Pestilence was faced with the necessity of replacing a notable member, vocalist Martin van Drunen, following his departure to pursue a career with Asphyx. The band found themselves at the crossroads with an uneasy task, given the success brought about by “Consuming Impulse”. As it turns out, the decision to revert to Patrick Mameli as vocalist not only stood the test of time, but, in hindsight, gave birth to a trademark ingredient of Pestilence’s core sound formula. To make things even more interesting, Mameli stepped away from playing bass, from now on assuming the double role of guitarist/vocalist, and enlisted Tony Choy (of Cyinc at the time), adding another famed name to the line-up, and another anchor point for the band’s inventive nature. Alongside Patrick Uterwijk (guitars) and Marco Foddis (drums), they recorded "Testimony Of The Ancients" (1991) at the legendary Morrissound Studios, where it acquired a refined production, courtesy of Scott Burns.
"Testimony of the Ancients" is regarded as a Progressive Death Metal classic from the originators of the genre. In comparison with the first three Pestilence albums, the material wasn't as abrasive, the musicianship matured, and the band’s previously found innovate technical accretions, rose to new, ingenious levels. Mameli steered the band towards a more Melodic and Technical approach, expanding on the Death Metal sound of its predecessor, "Consuming Impulse". The resulting concept album, "Testimony Of The Ancients" contrasted Brutal Death Metal riffs with Melodic interludes. After each song on the album, there was an instrumental outro track. This attempt to push the boundaries of Death Metal, at a time when the scene was saturated with copycat "one track minded" bands, mirrored the efforts of fellow Progressive bands Atheist and Death, who released "Unquestionable Presence" and "Human" respectively in 1991, the same year as "Testimony Of The Ancients".
The album can also be seen as a stepping stone on the way to the following Pestilence album, "Spheres", which departed still further from traditional Death Metal and headed towards Jazz/Fusion.
At the time of the album’s release, the demand for Pestilence elevated as never before and entailed massive touring; noteworthy is the band’s lauded performance at the Dynamo Open Air Festival from that period.

With Barrett's behaviour becoming increasingly unpredictable, David Gilmour was recruited to compliment Barrett, and eventually to replace him. As a result, "A Saucerful Of Secrets" became the only non-compilation Pink Floyd album on which all five band members appeared, the first for Gilmour (with him appearing on five songs), and the last for Barrett (with him on three). "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun" was the only song all five members appeared on together.
"Remember a Day" and "See Saw" are highlights; on "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun", "Let There Be More Light", and the lengthy instrumental title track, the band begin to map out the dark and repetitive pulses that would characterize their next few records.
Upon release, "A Saucerful Of Secrets" reached number nine in the UK charts, but failed to chart at all in the US until 2019, when it peaked at 158. However, when it was reissued as "A Nice Pair" with the original version of "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn", after the success of "The Dark Side Of The Moon", the album did chart at number 36 on the Billboard 200.

Remastered re-release of the fifth full-length studio album by legendary British Psychedelic/Progressive Rock band.
Appearing after the sprawling, unfocused double-album set "Ummagumma" (1969), "Atom Heart Mother" may boast more focus, even a concept, yet that doesn't mean it's more accessible. If anything, this is the most impenetrable album Pink Floyd released while on Harvest, which also makes it one of the most interesting of the era.
Still, it may be an acquired taste even for fans, especially since it kicks off with a side-long, 23-minute extended orchestral piece that may not seem to head anywhere, but is often intriguing, more in what it suggests than what it achieves. Then, on the second side, Roger Waters, David Gilmour and Rick Wright have a song apiece, winding up with the group composition "Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast" wrapping it up. Of these, Waters begins developing the voice that made him the band's lead songwriter during their classic era with "If," while Wright has an appealingly mannered, very English psychedelic fantasia on "Summer '68", and Gilmour's "Fat Old Sun" meanders quietly before ending with a guitar workout. "Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast", the 12-minute opus that ends the album, does the same thing, floating for several minutes before ending on a drawn-out jam that finally gets the piece moving.
So, there are interesting moments scattered throughout the record, and the work that initially seems so impenetrable winds up being "Atom Heart Mother"'s strongest moment. That it lasts an entire side illustrates that Pink Floyd was getting better with the larger picture instead of the details, since the second side just winds up falling off the tracks, no matter how many good moments there are. This lack of focus means "Atom Heart Mother" will largely be for cultists, but its unevenness means there's also a lot to cherish here.
The "Atom Heart Mother" was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London. It was the band's first album to reach number 1 in the UK, while it reached number 55 in the US, eventually going Gold there. It was released in the quadraphonic format in the UK, Germany and Australia. The album is ranked number 990 in All-Time Top 1000 Albums.

For the first time on vinyl, the sixth compilation album by legendary British Progressive Rock band.
"The Best Of Pink Floyd – A Foot In The Door" is the greatest hits album, that was released on CD as part of the "Why Pink Floyd…?" 2011–12 remastering campaign. The career-spanning compilation features some best-known album tracks from across Pink Floyd's career, 1967 to 1994, as well as the UK Top 10 Single, "See Emily Play".
Newly mastered for vinyl in 2018 by longstanding Pink Floyd associate James Guthrie, with Joel Plante, and with lacquers cut by Bernie Grundman of Grundman Mastering in Los Angeles, California, the 2LP version features at least one difference from the CD version. Time is slightly longer, with the ringing alarm clocks at the start of the track reinstated.
The original artwork, art directed by the late Storm Thorgerson, has been amended by Pink Floyd Creative Director Aubrey Powell of Hipgnosis, with Peter Curzon, to include alternate versions of the photographs used in the CD version. The album package comes in a gatefold outer-sleeve, with two separate printed inner-sleeves, and is pressed on heavyweight 180 gram vinyl.

New material was recorded in two sessions in 1972 and 1973 at Abbey Road Studios in London. The band used advanced recording techniques at the time, including multitrack recording, tape loops, and analogue synthesizers. Snippets from interviews with the band's road crew, as well as philosophical quotations, were also used. Engineer Alan Parsons was responsible for many sonic aspects and the recruitment of singer Clare Torry, who appears on "The Great Gig in the Sky".
The record builds on ideas explored in Pink Floyd's earlier recordings and performances, while omitting the extended instrumentals that characterised their earlier work. A concept album, its themes explore conflict, greed, time, death, and mental illness, the latter partly inspired by the deteriorating health of founding member Syd Barrett, who departed the band in 1968.
The iconic sleeve, which depicts a prism spectrum, was designed by Storm Thorgerson, following keyboardist Richard Wright's request for a "simple and bold" design, representing the band's lighting and the record's themes.
"The Dark Side Of The Moon" helped to propel Pink Floyd to international fame, bringing wealth and recognition to all four of its members. It has been hailed by critics as one of the greatest albums of all time. 
In the UK, it is the seventh-best-selling album of all time and the highest selling album never to reach number one.
In the US the LP was released before the introduction of Platinum awards in 1976. It therefore held only a Gold disc until 16 February 1990, when it was certified 11× Platinum. Remastered re-release of the ninth full-length studio album by legendary British Progressive Rock band.
Pink Floyd followed the commercial breakthrough of "Dark Side Of The Moon" with "Wish You Were Here", a loose concept album about and dedicated to their founding member Syd Barrett. The record unfolds gradually, as the Jazzy textures of "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" reveal its melodic motif, and in its leisurely pace, the album shows itself to be a warmer record than its predecessor. Musically, it's arguably even more impressive, showcasing the band's interplay and David Gilmour's solos in particular. And while it's short on actual songs, the long, winding soundscapes are constantly enthralling.
It was Pink Floyd's first album with Columbia Records, an affiliate of CBS; the band and their manager Steve O'Rourke had been dissatisfied with the efforts of EMI's US label Capitol Records. The band remained with EMI's Harvest Records in Europe.
"Have a Cigar" was chosen by Columbia as first single, with "Welcome to the Machine" on the B-side in the US.
In UK, with 250 000 advance sales, the album debuted at number three and reached number one the following week. Demand was such that EMI informed retailers that only 50 per cent of their orders would be fulfilled. With 900 000 advance orders (the largest for any Columbia release) it reached number one on the US Billboard chart in its second week. "Wish You Were Here" was Pink Floyd's fastest-selling album ever.
The album was certified Silver and Gold (60,000 and 100,000 sales respectively) in the UK on 1 August 1975, and Gold in the US on 17 September 1975. It was certified six times Platinum on 16 May 1997, and by 2004 had sold an estimated 13 million copies worldwide.  The album was a commercial hit in Europe, topping Dutch, English and Spanish charts – in Spain, the album remained at number one for 20 weeks.
Since then, the record has sold over 20 million copies.
Remastered from the original analogue tapes in 2016, 180g Heavyweight Vinyl comes with printed inner sleeve, postcard and download code card. It concealed in black shrink-wrap (making the front cover art "absent"). On the front of the shrinkwrap is a George Hardie designed sticker depicting two mechanical hands engaged in a handshake.

Official re-release of the debut full-length album by American Avant-garde Thrash Metal band.
Project: Failing Flesh, a band that includes singer/bassist Eric Forrest (ex- Voivod and E-Force bassist/vocalist) and guitarist Tim Gutierrez (also with E-Force).
If one needs to pin this 40-minute CD down stylistically, perhaps it's best to describe the disc as Cyber Metal/Electro Metal by way of Thrash Metal with traces of Death Metal/Black Metal at times and a Hardcore/Metalcore vocal style. Forrest's screaming vocals suggest Hardcore and Metalcore, but "A Beautiful Sickness" doesn't sound like Hatebreed or Throwdown, and anyone who appreciates the Industrialized Cyber Metal of Ministry, White Zombie, Godflesh, or Powerman 5000 should have some appreciation of this CD's Metallic use of electronics (although Project: Failing Flesh has a lot more fast tempos than those bands).
"A Beautiful Sickness" isn't quite as consistent as it could have been, but overall, it's a memorable effort that paints an attractive picture of the risk-taking band! This is righteous stuff and highly recommended!!

The debut full-length studio album by Spanish Hard Rock band.
Three years after their promising self-titled debut EP, here we have the first full-length from Hard Rockers Queen Marsa. From the powerful start with "Gaugamela" to the end of the album with "Outlaw on the Run", where they flirt with classic Heavy Metal, going through catchy tracks like "The Trick Is You Don't Mind" or "Treat Me Like You Do", whose choruses stick to your brain, the album "I Am The Land" proves to be a magnificent first letter of introduction for this band from Mallorca (Balearic Island).
The double-guitar, standalone-vocal eight songs across a tight but groovy 33 minutes that pull from a swath of influences within the Heavy sphere. Crisply produced, "I Am The Land" necessarily gives up some warmth of the EP, but in trade, the record brings a largesse of sound and clarity of intention beyond what one might generally expect from a first full-length. Whatever they do next (or don’t), this is a strong opening statement!
Excellent Hard Rock/Heavy Rock for fans of C.O.C., Pintos, Trouble, Blind Melon and other.
