A transitional album on which the band moved from Syd Barrett's relatively concise and vivid songs to spacy, ethereal material with lengthy instrumental passages. The album was recorded before and after Syd Barrett's departure from the band. With Barrett's behaviour becoming increasingly unpredictable, David Gilmour was recruited to compliment Barrett, and eventually to replace him. As a result, "A Saucerful Of Secrets" became the only non-compilation Pink Floyd album on which all five band members appeared, the first for Gilmour (with him appearing on five songs), and the last for Barrett (with him on three). "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun" was the only song all five members appeared on together.
"Remember a Day" and "See Saw" are highlights; on "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun", "Let There Be More Light", and the lengthy instrumental title track, the band begin to map out the dark and repetitive pulses that would characterize their next few records.
Upon release, "A Saucerful Of Secrets" reached number nine in the UK charts, but failed to chart at all in the US until 2019, when it peaked at 158. However, when it was reissued as "A Nice Pair" with the original version of "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn", after the success of "The Dark Side Of The Moon", the album did chart at number 36 on the Billboard 200.

Remastered re-release of the tenth full-length studio album by legendary British Progressive Rock band.
The album was recorded at the band's Britannia Row Studios in London throughout 1976, and was produced by the band. It continues the longform compositions that made up their previous works, including "Wish You Were Here" (1975). 
Lyrically, "Animals" is a concept album that provides a scathing critique of the social-political conditions of late 1970s Britain, and presents a marked change in musical style from their earlier work. Its production was punctuated by early signs of tension within the band, which would later culminate in keyboardist Richard Wright leaving the band. 
Of all of the classic-era Pink Floyd albums, "Animals" is the strangest and darkest, a record that's hard to initially embrace yet winds up yielding as many rewards as its equally nihilistic successor, "The Wall". Arriving after the warm-spirited (albeit melancholy) "Wish You Were Here", the shift in tone comes as a bit of a surprise, and there are even less proper songs here than on either "Wish You Were Here" or "Dark Side Of The Moon". "Animals" is all extended pieces, yet it never drifts - it slowly, ominously works its way toward its destination.
For an album that so clearly is Waters', David Gilmour's guitar dominates thoroughly, with Richard Wright's keyboards rarely rising above a mood-setting background (such as on the intro to "Sheep"). This gives the music, on occasion, immediacy and actually heightens the dark mood by giving it muscle. It also makes "Animals" as accessible as it possibly could be, since it surges with bold Blues Rock guitar lines and hypnotic Space Rock textures. Through it all, though, the utter blackness of Waters' spirit holds true, and since there are no vocal hooks or melodies, everything rests on the mood, the near-nihilistic lyrics, and Gilmour's guitar. These are the kinds of things that satisfy cultists, and it will reward their attention - there's just no way in for casual listeners.
The album received positive reviews from critics and was commercially successful, reaching number two in the UK, and three in the US. number 2 and 3 in the UK and US, respectively. Thanks to the album and the band's back catalogue, noted The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums, "Pink Floyd bested ABBA for most weeks on chart (in 1977), 108 to 106". Since its release, "Animals" has sold over 5 million copies worldwide.

Appearing after the sprawling, unfocused double-album set "Ummagumma" (1969), "Atom Heart Mother" may boast more focus, even a concept, yet that doesn't mean it's more accessible. If anything, this is the most impenetrable album Pink Floyd released while on Harvest, which also makes it one of the most interesting of the era.
Still, it may be an acquired taste even for fans, especially since it kicks off with a side-long, 23-minute extended orchestral piece that may not seem to head anywhere, but is often intriguing, more in what it suggests than what it achieves. Then, on the second side, Roger Waters, David Gilmour and Rick Wright have a song apiece, winding up with the group composition "Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast" wrapping it up. Of these, Waters begins developing the voice that made him the band's lead songwriter during their classic era with "If," while Wright has an appealingly mannered, very English psychedelic fantasia on "Summer '68", and Gilmour's "Fat Old Sun" meanders quietly before ending with a guitar workout. "Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast", the 12-minute opus that ends the album, does the same thing, floating for several minutes before ending on a drawn-out jam that finally gets the piece moving.
So, there are interesting moments scattered throughout the record, and the work that initially seems so impenetrable winds up being "Atom Heart Mother"'s strongest moment. That it lasts an entire side illustrates that Pink Floyd was getting better with the larger picture instead of the details, since the second side just winds up falling off the tracks, no matter how many good moments there are. This lack of focus means "Atom Heart Mother" will largely be for cultists, but its unevenness means there's also a lot to cherish here.
The "Atom Heart Mother" was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London. It was the band's first album to reach number 1 in the UK, while it reached number 55 in the US, eventually going Gold there. It was released in the quadraphonic format in the UK, Germany and Australia. The album is ranked number 990 in All-Time Top 1000 Albums.

The second Pink Floyd album recorded without founding member Roger Waters, "The Division Bell" was written mostly by guitarist and singer David Gilmour and keyboardist Richard Wright. It features Wright's first lead vocal on a Pink Floyd album since "The Dark Side Of The Moon" (1973). Gilmour's fiancée, novelist Polly Samson, co-wrote many of the lyrics, which deal with themes of communication. The production team included longtime Pink Floyd collaborators such as producer Bob Ezrin, engineer Andy Jackson, saxophonist Dick Parry, and bassist Guy Pratt. It was the last Pink Floyd album recorded with Wright, who died in 2008.
The album won the Grammy for Best Rock Instrumental Performance on "Marooned". "The Division Bell" was nominated for the 1995 Brit Award for Best Album by a British Artist, but lost to Blur's "Parklife".
"The Division Bell" reached number one in more than 10 countries, including the UK and the US. It was certified double Platinum in the US the year it was released, and triple Platinum in 1999.

The third Pink Floyd album recorded under the leadership of guitarist David Gilmour, after the departure of bassist Roger Waters in 1985, and the first following the death of keyboardist Richard Wright in 2008, who appears posthumously. Gilmour said it would be the final Pink Floyd album.
"The Endless River" comprises Instrumental and Ambient music based on material recorded during sessions for the band's previous album, "The Division Bell" (1994). Additional material was recorded in 2013 and 2014 on Gilmour's Astoria boat studio and in Medina Studios in Hove, England. Only one track, "Louder than Words", has lead vocals.
The Endless River was promoted with the "Louder than Words" single and artwork installations in cities around the world. It became the most pre-ordered album of all time on Amazon UK, and debuted at number one in several countries. The vinyl edition was the fastest-selling UK vinyl release since 1997. The album received mixed reviews; some critics praised the nostalgic mood, while others found it unambitious or meandering.

Pink Floyd followed the commercial breakthrough of "Dark Side Of The Moon" with "Wish You Were Here", a loose concept album about and dedicated to their founding member Syd Barrett. The record unfolds gradually, as the Jazzy textures of "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" reveal its melodic motif, and in its leisurely pace, the album shows itself to be a warmer record than its predecessor. Musically, it's arguably even more impressive, showcasing the band's interplay and David Gilmour's solos in particular. And while it's short on actual songs, the long, winding soundscapes are constantly enthralling.
It was Pink Floyd's first album with Columbia Records, an affiliate of CBS; the band and their manager Steve O'Rourke had been dissatisfied with the efforts of EMI's US label Capitol Records. The band remained with EMI's Harvest Records in Europe.
"Have a Cigar" was chosen by Columbia as first single, with "Welcome to the Machine" on the B-side in the US.
In UK, with 250 000 advance sales, the album debuted at number three and reached number one the following week. Demand was such that EMI informed retailers that only 50 per cent of their orders would be fulfilled. With 900 000 advance orders (the largest for any Columbia release) it reached number one on the US Billboard chart in its second week. "Wish You Were Here" was Pink Floyd's fastest-selling album ever.
The album was certified Silver and Gold (60,000 and 100,000 sales respectively) in the UK on 1 August 1975, and Gold in the US on 17 September 1975. It was certified six times Platinum on 16 May 1997, and by 2004 had sold an estimated 13 million copies worldwide.  The album was a commercial hit in Europe, topping Dutch, English and Spanish charts – in Spain, the album remained at number one for 20 weeks.
Since then, the record has sold over 20 million copies.
Remastered from the original analogue tapes in 2016, 180g Heavyweight Vinyl comes with printed inner sleeve, postcard and download code card. It concealed in black shrink-wrap (making the front cover art "absent"). On the front of the shrinkwrap is a George Hardie designed sticker depicting two mechanical hands engaged in a handshake.

The album, named after the title of chapter seven of Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows" (Syd Barrett's favorite children's book), and featuring a kaleidoscopic cover photo of the band taken by Vic Singh, is the only one album made under founding member Syd Barrett's leadership. 
Since its release, the album has been hailed a pivotal Psychedelic Rock album, with the embryonic elements of what was to become Progressive rock. Lyrical imagery of "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" is indeed full of colorful, childlike, distinctly British whimsy, albeit filtered through the perceptive lens of LSD. Barrett's catchy, melodic Acid Pop songs are balanced with longer, more Experimental pieces showcasing the band's instrumental freak-outs, often using themes of space travel as metaphors for hallucinogenic experiences. But even though Barrett's lyrics and melodies are mostly playful and humorous, the band's music doesn't always bear out those sentiments - in addition to Rick Wright's eerie organ work, dissonance, chromaticism, weird noises, and vocal sound effects are all employed at various instances, giving the impression of chaos and confusion lurking beneath the bright surface. "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" successfully captures both sides of Psychedelic experimentation - the pleasures of expanding one's mind and perception, and an underlying threat of mental disorder and even lunacy; this duality makes "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" all the more compelling in light of Barrett's subsequent breakdown, and ranks it as one of the best Psychedelic albums of all time! The album was ranked 40th in Mojo Magazine's "The 50 Most Out There Albums of All Time" list. In 2000, Q Magazine placed "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" at the Gates of Dawn at number 55 in its list of the 100 greatest British albums ever. In July 2006, Billboard described "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" as "one of the best Psychedelic Rock albums ever". This is a soundtrack for the 1969 French hippie film "More", which was primarily filmed on location on Ibiza and was the directorial debut of Barbet Schroeder.
This is Pink Floyd's first full album without founding member Syd Barrett, who was ousted from the band in 1968, during the recording of "A Saucerful Of Secrets". It is one of only three Pink Floyd albums to feature David Gilmour as the sole lead vocalist, the others being 1987's "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" and 2014's "The Endless River", and it is also the first album to be produced by Pink Floyd without assistance from Norman Smith. It is the only album in the band's discography not to have a lead vocal from Roger Waters during his tenure in the band (1964–1985).
The album contains some acoustic Folk ballads, a genre that appeared sparsely on Pink Floyd's later works. It also contains some of the band's "heaviest" recordings, such as "The Nile Song" and "Ibiza Bar", as well as several instrumental tracks, featuring their Experimental and Avant-garde approach.
More reached number 9 in the UK and, upon re-release in 1973, number 153 in the US.

Remastered re-release of the fourth full-length album by legendary British Psychedelic/Space Rock band.
The first album by the band released on the Harvest label. It's a double album and contains two discs. The first one consists of live recordings from concerts at Mothers Club in Birmingham and the College of Commerce in Manchester that contained part of their normal set list at the time, while the second contains solo compositions by each member of the band recorded at EMI Studios (now Abbey Road Studios).
The album's title supposedly comes from Cambridge slang for sex, commonly used by Pink Floyd friend and occasional roadie, Iain "Emo" Moore, who would say, "I'm going back to the house for some ummagumma". According to Moore, he made up the term himself.
Although the album was well received at the time of release, and was a top five hit in the UK album charts, it has since been looked upon unfavourably by the band, who have expressed negative opinions about it in interviews.
The album reached number 5 on the UK albums chart and number 74 in the US, marking the first time the band reached the top 100 there. Similarly, in Canada it was their first appearance on the charts, reaching number 78. The album was certified Gold in the US in February 1974 and Platinum in March 1994.
For many years, this double-LP was one of the most popular albums in Pink Floyd's pre-"Dark Side Of The Moon" output.

Remastered re-release of the eighth full-length studio album by legendary British Progressive Rock band.
Primarily developed during live performances, the band premiered an early version of the record several months before recording began. New material was recorded in two sessions in 1972 and 1973 at Abbey Road Studios in London. The band used advanced recording techniques at the time, including multitrack recording, tape loops, and analogue synthesizers. Snippets from interviews with the band's road crew, as well as philosophical quotations, were also used. Engineer Alan Parsons was responsible for many sonic aspects and the recruitment of singer Clare Torry, who appears on "The Great Gig in the Sky".
The record builds on ideas explored in Pink Floyd's earlier recordings and performances, while omitting the extended instrumentals that characterised their earlier work. A concept album, its themes explore conflict, greed, time, death, and mental illness, the latter partly inspired by the deteriorating health of founding member Syd Barrett, who departed the band in 1968.

One of the most acclaimed concept albums of all time, “The Wall” is renowned as Roger Waters’ Rock Opera dealing with abandonment and personal isolation. 
It is a rock opera that explores Pink, a jaded Rock Star whose eventual self-imposed isolation from society forms a figurative wall. From 1980 to 1981, Pink Floyd performed the full album on a tour that featured elaborate theatrical effects. In 1982, "The Wall" was adapted by Alan Parker into a feature film, for which Waters wrote the screenplay, featuring Bob Geldof in the lead role.
There was some controversy when the British press reported that the children had not been paid for their efforts; they were eventually given copies of the album, and the school received a £1,000 donation (£5,000 in contemporary value).
Some of the out-takes from the recording sessions were used on the band's next album, "The Final Cut" (1983).
The album was a commercial success, topping the US charts for 15 weeks and reaching number three in the UK. It initially received mixed reviews from critics, many of whom found it overblown and pretentious, but later received accolades as one of the greatest albums of all time and one of the band's finest works. The Single "Another Brick In The Wall, Part 2" yielded the U.S. and U.K. #1 hit. The album topped the Billboard charts for 15 weeks, selling over a million copies in its first two months of sales, and in 1999 was certified 23× Platinum. The album was nominated for the Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
"The Wall" is one of the best-known concept albums. In 2000, it was voted number 30 in Colin Larkin's "All Time Top 1000 Albums". Pink Floyd followed the commercial breakthrough of "Dark Side Of The Moon" with "Wish You Were Here", a loose concept album about and dedicated to their founding member Syd Barrett. The record unfolds gradually, as the Jazzy textures of "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" reveal its melodic motif, and in its leisurely pace, the album shows itself to be a warmer record than its predecessor. Musically, it's arguably even more impressive, showcasing the band's interplay and David Gilmour's solos in particular. And while it's short on actual songs, the long, winding soundscapes are constantly enthralling.
It was Pink Floyd's first album with Columbia Records, an affiliate of CBS; the band and their manager Steve O'Rourke had been dissatisfied with the efforts of EMI's US label Capitol Records. The band remained with EMI's Harvest Records in Europe.
"Have a Cigar" was chosen by Columbia as first single, with "Welcome to the Machine" on the B-side in the US.
In UK, with 250 000 advance sales, the album debuted at number three and reached number one the following week. Demand was such that EMI informed retailers that only 50 per cent of their orders would be fulfilled. With 900 000 advance orders (the largest for any Columbia release) it reached number one on the US Billboard chart in its second week. "Wish You Were Here" was Pink Floyd's fastest-selling album ever.
The album was certified Silver and Gold (60,000 and 100,000 sales respectively) in the UK on 1 August 1975, and Gold in the US on 17 September 1975. It was certified six times Platinum on 16 May 1997, and by 2004 had sold an estimated 13 million copies worldwide.  The album was a commercial hit in Europe, topping Dutch, English and Spanish charts – in Spain, the album remained at number one for 20 weeks.
Since then, the record has sold over 20 million copies.

Remastered from the original mono mix, the second full-length studio album by legendary British Psychedelic/Space Rock band.
A transitional album on which the band moved from Syd Barrett's relatively concise and vivid songs to spacy, ethereal material with lengthy instrumental passages. The album was recorded before and after Syd Barrett's departure from the band. With Barrett's behaviour becoming increasingly unpredictable, David Gilmour was recruited to compliment Barrett, and eventually to replace him. As a result, "A Saucerful Of Secrets" became the only non-compilation Pink Floyd album on which all five band members appeared, the first for Gilmour (with him appearing on five songs), and the last for Barrett (with him on three). "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun" was the only song all five members appeared on together.
"Remember a Day" and "See Saw" are highlights; on "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun", "Let There Be More Light", and the lengthy instrumental title track, the band begin to map out the dark and repetitive pulses that would characterize their next few records.
Upon release, "A Saucerful Of Secrets" reached number nine in the UK charts, but failed to chart at all in the US until 2019, when it peaked at 158. However, when it was reissued as "A Nice Pair" with the original version of "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn", after the success of "The Dark Side Of The Moon", the album did chart at number 36 on the Billboard 200.

Primarily developed during live performances, the band premiered an early version of the record several months before recording began. New material was recorded in two sessions in 1972 and 1973 at Abbey Road Studios in London. The band used advanced recording techniques at the time, including multitrack recording, tape loops, and analogue synthesizers. Snippets from interviews with the band's road crew, as well as philosophical quotations, were also used. Engineer Alan Parsons was responsible for many sonic aspects and the recruitment of singer Clare Torry, who appears on "The Great Gig in the Sky".
The record builds on ideas explored in Pink Floyd's earlier recordings and performances, while omitting the extended instrumentals that characterised their earlier work. The fourteenth full-length studio album by legendary British Progressive Rock band.
The second Pink Floyd album recorded without founding member Roger Waters, "The Division Bell" was written mostly by guitarist and singer David Gilmour and keyboardist Richard Wright. It features Wright's first lead vocal on a Pink Floyd album since "The Dark Side Of The Moon" (1973). Gilmour's fiancée, novelist Polly Samson, co-wrote many of the lyrics, which deal with themes of communication. The production team included longtime Pink Floyd collaborators such as producer Bob Ezrin, engineer Andy Jackson, saxophonist Dick Parry, and bassist Guy Pratt. It was the last Pink Floyd album recorded with Wright, who died in 2008.
The album won the Grammy for Best Rock Instrumental Performance on "Marooned". "The Division Bell" was nominated for the 1995 Brit Award for Best Album by a British Artist, but lost to Blur's "Parklife".
"The Division Bell" reached number one in more than 10 countries, including the UK and the US. It was certified double Platinum in the US the year it was released, and triple Platinum in 1999.

The album was recorded over five nights at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, in August 1988, during their A Momentary Lapse of Reason Tour, and mixed at Abbey Road Studios in September 1988. It was released on 21 November 1988, through EMI Records in the UK and Columbia Records in the United States.
"Delicate Sound Of Thunder" reached #11 on the Billboard 200. It was certified Gold and Platinum on 23 January 1989 and triple Platinum in April 1997. It became the first album to be played in space, when Soviet cosmonauts took it aboard Soyuz TM-7. David Gilmour and Nick Mason attended the mission's launch.

The first official re-release of the live concert 1974 by legendary British Progressive Rock band.
Recorded live on BBC soundboard source, at the Empire Pool, Wembley, London, 16th November 1974, it was officially released for the first time in 2011, as a part of "The Dark Side Of The Moon – Immersion Box Set", and as a bonus disc at "The Dark Side Of The Moon (Experience Edition)" 2CD, before getting a standalone release in 2023 (almost 50 years after this concert took place) on Pink Floyd Records.
"The Dark Side Of The Moon – Live At Wembley 1974" features Pink Floyd performing the entirety of their then-recent album "The Dark Side Of The Moon" during a tour stop at Empire Pool, the venue that would later be renamed Wembley Arena. "The Dark Side Of The Moon" was Floyd's focus at this November 1974 gig, but it wasn't all they played. The first set in the show consisted of the band playing an early version of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", plus "Raving and Drooling" and "You Gotta Be Crazy" – songs that later became "Sheep" and "Dogs" on "Animals", while "Echoes" provided the encore. None of this material is here, of course: the first set is on the 'Immersion' and 'Experience' editions of "Wish You Were Here" from 2011, while "Echoes" is on the 2016 Box Set "The Early Years: 1965-1972", which leaves this 2023 release as a smooth, streamlined live version of an album that can sometimes seem entirely a studio creation. Here, it's clear that Pink Floyd figured out the furthest reaches of "The Dark Side Of The Moon" as a collective and it's exciting to hear them play this material when it was still new; they sound as if they're still enjoying the exploration.
Unlike the vinyl version, this CD version does not have shorter edited versions of "Money" and "Any Colour You Like".

The last Single by legendary British Progressive Rock band.
"Hey Hey Rise Up" is the first new track recorded by Pink Floyd since "Louder than Words" in 2014. The Single is based on a 1914 Ukrainian anthem, "Oh, the Red Viburnum in the Meadow", and features vocals in Ukrainian by Andriy Khlyvnyuk of the Boombox Band. The guitarist, David Gilmour, was inspired to record it in support of Ukraine during the 2022 russian invasion. Pink Floyd had been inactive for several years, and Gilmour had said several times that the band would not reunite; however, the war encouraged him to release the track as Pink Floyd.
The Single was released on CD and vinyl on 15 July 2022, alongside a new version of Pink Floyd's 1994 song "A Great Day for Freedom". All proceeds go to the Ukraine Humanitarian Relief Fund.

Remastered re-release of the debut full-length studio album by legendary British Psychedelic/Space Rock band.
The album, named after the title of chapter seven of Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows" (Syd Barrett's favorite children's book), and featuring a kaleidoscopic cover photo of the band taken by Vic Singh, is the only one album made under founding member Syd Barrett's leadership. 
Since its release, the album has been hailed a pivotal Psychedelic Rock album, with the embryonic elements of what was to become Progressive rock. Lyrical imagery of "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" is indeed full of colorful, childlike, distinctly British whimsy, albeit filtered through the perceptive lens of LSD. Barrett's catchy, melodic Acid Pop songs are balanced with longer, more Experimental pieces showcasing the band's instrumental freak-outs, often using themes of space travel as metaphors for hallucinogenic experiences. But even though Barrett's lyrics and melodies are mostly playful and humorous, the band's music doesn't always bear out those sentiments - in addition to Rick Wright's eerie organ work, dissonance, chromaticism, weird noises, and vocal sound effects are all employed at various instances, giving the impression of chaos and confusion lurking beneath the bright surface. The fourth re-release of the thirteenth full-length studio album by legendary British Psychedelic/Progressive Rock band.
Originally released in 1987, "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" was updated and remixed by David Gilmour and Andy Jackson for "The Later Years Box Set" in 2019. By returning to some of Richard Wrights original keyboard parts and by re-recording new drum tracks with Nick Mason, producers David Gilmour and Bob Ezrin have restored the creative balance between the three Pink Floyd members.
"A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" was the first Pink Floyd album recorded without founding member Roger Waters, who departed in 1985.  The album saw the return of keyboardist and founding member Richard Wright, who had resigned from the band under pressure from Waters during the recording of "The Wall" (1979). It was recorded primarily on guitarist David Gilmour's converted houseboat, Astoria. The production was marred by legal fights over the rights to the Pink Floyd name, which were not resolved until several months after release.
Unlike most earlier Pink Floyd records, "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" is not a concept album. It includes writing contributions from outside songwriters, following Gilmour's decision to include material once intended for his third solo album.
"A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" reached number three in the UK and US, and outsold Pink Floyd's previous album "The Final Cut" (1983).
Remixed in 2019 from the original master tapes, the CD includes a 28-page booklet. The front cover features an alternative photograph from the original album cover photoshoot.
Rolling Stone described this version as "more tasteful".

The first European re-release of the sixth compilation album by legendary British Progressive Rock band.
"The Best Of Pink Floyd – A Foot In The Door" is the greatest hits album, that was released on CD as part of the "Why Pink Floyd…?" 2011–12 remastering campaign. The career-spanning compilation features some best-known album tracks from across Pink Floyd's career, 1967 to 1994, as well as the UK Top 10 Single, "See Emily Play".
Newly mastered for vinyl in 2018 by longstanding Pink Floyd associate James Guthrie, with Joel Plante, and with lacquers cut by Bernie Grundman of Grundman Mastering in Los Angeles, California, the 2LP version features at least one difference from the CD version. Time is slightly longer, with the ringing alarm clocks at the start of the track reinstated.
The original artwork, art directed by the late Storm Thorgerson, has been amended by Pink Floyd Creative Director Aubrey Powell of Hipgnosis, with Peter Curzon, to include alternate versions of the photographs used in the CD version.

The fifth re-release of the first live album by legendary British Progressive Rock band.
The album was recorded over five nights at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, in August 1988, during their A Momentary Lapse of Reason Tour, and mixed at Abbey Road Studios in September 1988. It was released on 21 November 1988, through EMI Records in the UK and Columbia Records in the United States.
"Delicate Sound Of Thunder" reached #11 on the Billboard 200. It was certified Gold and Platinum on 23 January 1989 and triple Platinum in April 1997. It became the first album to be played in space, when Soviet cosmonauts took it aboard Soyuz TM-7. David Gilmour and Nick Mason attended the mission's launch.
The album was remixed, restored and reissued in December 2019 for "The Later Years 1987–2019" Box Set. This version included eight songs that were not present on the original release. In November 2020, it was given a standalone release on 2CD, 3LP, and CD/DVD/BD Box Set, which includes the 2019 cut of the film.

The last Single by legendary British Progressive Rock band.
"Hey Hey Rise Up" is the first new track recorded by Pink Floyd since "Louder than Words" in 2014. The Single is based on a 1914 Ukrainian anthem, "Oh, the Red Viburnum in the Meadow", and features vocals in Ukrainian by Andriy Khlyvnyuk of the Boombox Band. The guitarist, David Gilmour, was inspired to record it in support of Ukraine during the 2022 russian invasion. Pink Floyd had been inactive for several years, and Gilmour had said several times that the band would not reunite; however, the war encouraged him to release the track as Pink Floyd.
The Single was released on 15 July 2022, alongside a new version of Pink Floyd's 1994 song "A Great Day for Freedom". All proceeds go to the Ukraine Humanitarian Relief Fund.
