The untitled fourth studio album, commonly known as "Led Zeppelin IV". After the band's previous album "Led Zeppelin III" received lukewarm reviews from critics, band decided their fourth album would officially be untitled, and would be represented instead by four symbols chosen by each band member, without featuring the name or any other details on the cover.
Encompassing Heavy Metal, Folk, pure Rock & Roll, and Blues, this album is a monolithic record, defining not only Led Zeppelin, but the sound and style of '70s Hard Rock. Led Zeppelin fuse their majestic Hard Rock with a mystical, rural English Folk, that gives the record an Epic scope. At its basic, the album has a grand sense of drama, which is only deepened by Robert Plant's burgeoning obsession with mythology, religion, and the occult. Plant's mysticism comes to a head on the eerie Folk ballad "The Battle of Evermore", a mandolin-driven song with haunting vocals from Sandy Denny, and on the epic "Stairway to Heaven". Of all of Zeppelin's songs, "Stairway to Heaven" is the most famous, and not unjustly. Building from a simple fingerpicked acoustic guitar to a storming torrent of guitar riffs and solos, it encapsulates the entire album in one song. Which, of course, isn't discounting the rest of the album. "Going to California" is the band's best Folk song, and the rockers are endlessly inventive, whether it's the complex, multi-layered "Black Dog", the pounding Hippie satire "Misty Mountain Hop", or the Funky riffs of "Four Sticks". But the closer, "When the Levee Breaks", is the one song truly equal to "Stairway to Heaven", helping give "IV" the feeling of an Epic. An apocalyptic slice of urban Blues, "When the Levee Breaks" is as forceful and frightening as Zeppelin ever got, and its seismic rhythms and layered dynamics illustrate why none of their imitators could ever equal them.
In 2003, the album was ranked number 69 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time", which described it as "the peak of Seventies Hard Rock". The album was a commercial and critical success and is Led Zeppelin's best-selling, shipping over 37 million copies worldwide as of 2014. In 2016, Classic Rock Magazine ranked "Led Zeppelin IV" as the greatest of all Led Zeppelin albums. As of 2018, it is tied for third-highest-certified album in the US by the Recording Industry Association of America at 23× Platinum.

With elements of Blues and Folk music, "Led Zeppelin II" also exhibits the band's evolving musical style of Blues-derived material and their guitar and riff-based sound. It has been described as the band's heaviest album.
Recorded quickly during Led Zeppelin's first American tour, "Led Zeppelin II" provided the blueprint for all the Heavy Metal bands that followed it. Since the band could only enter the studio for brief amounts of time, most of the songs that compose "II" are reworked Blues and Rock & Roll standards that the band was performing on-stage at the time. Not only did the short amount of time result in a lack of original material, it made the sound more direct. Jimmy Page still provided layers of guitar overdubs, but the overall sound of the album is heavy and hard, brutal and direct. "Whole Lotta Love", "The Lemon Song", and "Bring It on Home" are all based on classic blues songs - only, the riffs are simpler and louder and each song has an extended section for instrumental solos. Of the remaining six songs, two sport light acoustic touches ("Thank You", "Ramble On"), but the other four are straight-ahead Heavy Rock that follows the formula of the revamped Blues songs.
While "Led Zeppelin II" doesn't have the eclecticism of the band's debut, it's arguably more influential. After all, nearly every one of the hundreds of Zeppelin imitators used this record, with its lack of dynamics and its pummeling riffs, as a blueprint!
Upon release, "Led Zeppelin II" sold well and was the band's first album to reach number one in the UK and the US. In 1970, art director David Juniper was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Recording Package for the album. On 15 November 1999, it was certified 12× Platinum by the RIAA for sales in excess of 12 million copies. Since its release, writers and music critics have regularly cited it in polls of the greatest and most influential Rock albums.
The 2014 reissue of the album helped itself get back into the Billboard Top 10 when it got to #9. Deluxe Edition includes bonus CD with unreleased studio outtakes!

In January of 2014, the band won their first ever Grammy award as "Celebration Day", which captured their live performance at the Ertegun tribute concert, was named Best Rock Album.

Newly remastered from the Original Master Tapes by guitarist and producer Jimmy Page, this double album is accompanied by a third disc, "Companion Audio", comprising previously unreleased music related to the original release. It has seven unreleased tracks, including rough mixes of “In My Time Of Dying” and “Houses Of The Holy”, as well as an early mix of “Trampled Under Foot” called “Brandy & Coke”. All the unreleased companion tracks offer fans a chance to hear well-known songs from a different perspective, including the Sunset Sound mix of “Boogie with Stu” and “Driving Through Kashmir”, a rough orchestra mix of the band’s eight-minute opus “Kashmir”. The fifth full-length studio album by legendary Hard Rock/Glam Metal singer.
Aarong's most commercially successful album, "Bodyrock", includes several hit songs, including "Whatcha Do to My Body", and was certified double Platinum in Canada. After spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on big producers and marketing for the four previous albums, this one was done on a relatively small budget. 
The album is Aaron's highest-charting release to date, reaching No. 24 on the Canadian albums chart and No. 36 on the German albums chart. Both of its Singles also charted: "Whatcha Do to My Body" reached No. 25 on the Canadian Singles Chart, and "Hands On" reached No. 38.
The music video for "Whatcha Do to My Body" was nominated for "Video of the Year" at the 1990 Juno Awards, while "Bodyrock" itself was nominated for "Album of the Year" and "Rock Album of the Year" in 1991. Furthermore, recording engineer Lenny DeRose received a nomination for "Recording Engineer of the Year" in 1990 for his work on the album. In Canada, "Bodyrock" was certified Platinum on December 18, 1989. "Bodyrock" was included on Chart Magazine's list of "20 most influential Canadian albums of the '80s".

War Thrash Metal with a strong Heavy Metal influence!
Another proclamation of war has been announced with a Metal mission to kill. “Forced To The Ground” marks band's quite improvement from the debut. The 2011 release “Riding With The Blitz” (Single) showed promise, with its grandiose visions and shell shock capabilities, but this album is leaps and bounds better!
Fans of Hail Of Bullets, Razor Of Occam, Vorgus or Witchery will be enticed by its morbid visions. The songs have melody and character. Picture At War with Nocturnal Breed or Nocturnal Fear with Merciless. The vocals are harsh, but audible, the guitars are menacing and thunderous. “Pile Of Corpse” and “Death Brigade” even have some shouting and gang vocals. Remember Blizzard, Sodom, Bewitched or Brimstone, just so you can get the idea of the potential this holds. Remember how good the Old Man's Child albums were towards the late '90s? This ensemble of fear knows how to evoke that Black/Thrash attack that works quite effectively. These reapers know how to take command and break through the barricades. Sure, this is nothing novel, but if you like Black Metal and Thrash then this is the perfect melodic blend. Add to that war torn diaries of past valor, and you have a memorable experience! Unlike the over-rated Ghost, Legions Of War support the true Metal Milieu with the mettle might of revenge. Tanks for the barrage of brutality!!

The second full-length studio album by Algerian Death Metal band.
Lelahell is the brainchild of Algerian Death Metal veteran Roudouane "Lelahel" Aouameur. Originally a one man army in 2010, releasing an EP written, performed and recorded entirely by Lelahel himself, Lelahell was joined by Slaveblaster on drums and Nehil on bass a year later – two solid musicians from the band Barbaros. Lelahell masterfully blends Thrash, Black and Technical Death Metal. Their first full-length album  earning associations with the bands like Nile and Vader.
"Alif" further solidifies the band's commitment to brutality and proves to be a veritable upgrade from the previous releases. It's an extremely solid and important album that signals a new era for the Algerian kings, one of raw brutality and progressive flair.
Each Lelahell release is conceptually linked to the character of Abderrahmane yet focusing on another evolutionary step—another chapter in his own book. The "Alif" focusing on Abderrahmane's first steps in his new life, just like a child learning to speak, walk, learning about the world around him. Yet this is full of foes and fears, that's why Abderrahmane needs to save himself from those dangers.

With members hailing from Turkey, England, Ireland and Canada, and drawing upon European Death Metal, American Thrash, Speed and Nu Metal with touches of Progressive and Power Metal, Band has a broad palette to work with. Lethal Halo is unafraid to create music that crosses genres and blend styles to attain their musical vision. Lethal Halo presents a much cleaner and more successful production compared to their EP. It might make more sense to say that they are a Heavy Metal band with clean and brutal vocals rather than Melodic Death Metal band. Even though the parts with clean vocals reminds of Metalcore bands, there is no other similarity in musical terms. Their guitar solos are much more satisfactory and it is an album that is pleasant to listen to!

A very solid record that had a perfect mix between the old and the new. The sound has evolved and morphed itself into a very interesting thing.
"Living Things" received mixed to positive reviews from music critics. According to review aggregator website Metacritic, it has an average review score of 60 out of 100, based on reviews from 15 professional critics.
“Living Things” debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 223,000 copies. The album has reached the top spot in seventeen countries becoming their best charting album so far and has been certified Gold in Australia for shipments of at least 35,000 copies, and also attained Gold certification in Switzerland. It also debuted at number one in UK Albums Chart, selling 41,000 copies beating out Maroon 5's album once again. In Canada, the album also debuted at number one selling at least 20,000 copies. “Living Things” has sold over 636,000 units in the US as of June 2013.

September 7, 2012 marks the release of Leave’s Eyes's front woman, Liv Kristine (ex- Theatre Of Tragedy), solo album “Libertine” through Napalm Records. For those of you unfamiliar with Kristine’s solo work, she has a back catalog of full lengths and singles dating back to 1998. Throughout the years, she has also fronted Theatre Of Tragedy, and most recently, Leave’s Eyes. Looking over her biography, Kristine has accomplished quite a lot in the music and television industry.
Kristine’s voice is lovely; having an almost mournful, yet angelic quality to it, and it is showcased quite well on “Libertine”. The sound production is excellent, the tracks are layered just right, and the album wraps itself up nice and tight. The songs are about longing for someone, being in love, falling out of love, finding someone new, and of course walking away a better person.
If you are a Liv Kristine fan, you will enjoy this album. But it you not... you'll love it too!!

The debut full-length album by the Italian Melodic Hard Rock band.
Originally formed as a cover-band back in 1995, it didn’t take long for this foursome to realize their true calling in creating their own original music. Now Lizhard are poised to take their place in the European hard-rock scene.
Now the music and songs have their own unique quality. What really great about this band is their ability to blend their Classic Rock sound with some cool, Bluesy grooves and guitar riffs but it’s lead vocalist Luke Marsilio who really steals the spot light here… almost sounding like a cross between Joey Tempest with a little Don Dokken thrown in for good measure. Nowhere is this more apparent than on Hard Rockers like “Let The Good Times Roll,” “My Wild Side” and “Devil’s Highway.”
While the album contains it’s fair share of edgy, Hard Rock tunes, we can find here more drawn to the acoustic driven tracks like the ballady “Diamond”, “Angel” (another stand-out ballad with a nice, soothing arrangement complimented by a powerful chorus and some harmonica accents) and “I Cry For You” which will find you having flashbacks of all those great, late-80’s power ballads ala bands like Europe, Firehouse or Poison.
Perris Records have themselves another winner in the new s/t Lizhard release. Fans of that edgy, Hard Rock sound will appreciate the raw, in-your-face rockers while even those fans of AOR/Melodic Rock can find themselves some real gems when the band takes a walk over to their lighter side!
A good album all around which has a little bit of everything to satisfy the most finicky of appetites!!

They music is based on a Doom Metal style, whose influences are taken from My Dying Bride and Shape Of Despair. Also, Llvme has a Black Metal touch, that remember us to the first albums of Negura Bunget, as well as a Folk influence, thanks to the use of violins and bagpipes, that evoke Celtic and Pagan passages. It’s like mixing My Dying Bride with Folkearth.
Fans of Paganic Dooom and Black Metal should get something out of!
