Second re-release on CD of the debut and only full-length album by Danish Death Metal band.
"A Serenade Of Agony" is the classic Death Metal album featuring members from Invocator and Dan Swanö of on vocals!
Maceration was a project of two Invocator members (Jakob Schultz and Jacob Hansen) and Lars Bangholt (Iconoclasm). On their debut "A Serenade Of Agony" Dan Swanö (Edge Of Sanity) did the vocals using his famous pseudonym Day Disyraah. Swanö left the band after the CD was released. 
Maceration was only a side project, but at least the members knew how to handle their instruments and how to write some very cool old school Death Metal riffs. And Dan Swanö never really sounded as good as a Death Metal vocalist as on this album. He sounds so brutal, that you hardly recognize him. 
Punishment 18 Records used the original cover art again for this re-release, and the one which got used in the second edition is also included in the booklet here. Re-edition features 12 rare tracks from live recordings, rehearsals and demos, as well as 16-page booklet with rare photos, flyers, etc.
A true classic Swedish Death Metal attack!!

The ninth full-length studio album by legendary American Groove/Nu Metal band.
The album is the first to be credited as completely co-written by all the band's members since "The More Things Change..." (1997). "Catharsis" saw the band stylistically returning to the Nu Metal-inspired sound of their previous albums, "The Burning Red" (1999) and "Supercharger" (2001).
"Catharsis" is the final Machine Head studio album to feature drummer Dave McClain and guitarist Phil Demmel, who both left the band in late September 2018 over their dislike with the album's direction and conflicts with Robb Flynn. Phil Demmel has publicly admitted his distaste for the album in many interviews after he left the band.
A significant proportion of the band's fanbase reacted negatively to the album online. As a result, Robb Flynn responded to the criticism in his single "Do Or Die", released in 2019.
"Catharsis" would go on to become Machine Head's best international chart debut, debuting at number three in Germany, number 10 in Australia, and number 12 in the UK.

The second full-length album by Portuguese Thrash Metal band.
The sunny country along the Atlantic coast isn't that much known from Heavy Metal, of course with some exceptions like Moonspell.
The music band play can be best described as Thrash Metal with some parallels to the earlier Sepultura and some German Thrash Metal roots. The vocals have some Death Metal influences, but not real growls. But Vieira keeps the vocals deep and rough, which fits the sound very good.
"Sounds Evolution" comes with 10 songs which are all quite good. The tracks aren't build up too complicated. They are all kept more simple and straight-forward. This makes the entire album easy accessable and entertaining. It is not the musicial complexity which is the joy of this record. It's the unleashed enegry of the youth which makes this album a cool one. It's good headbanging stuff.
The production is on a good level to. It provides the songs with the power they deserve. In addition the mix is done quite well too.
All in all "Sounds Evolution" is a good Thrash Metal album from a band which you should have on your radar. It's worth to give it a try!!

The tenth full-length album by the cult German Melodic Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band.
Two and a half decades have passed since an album named "Night Of Passion" has taken the German scene by storm. It was one of the superb moments for the Hard Rock/Metal band of Mad Max. After the band's comeback in 1999 they have been quite a live show. "Another Night Of Passion", consisting of the band's original lineup, is based on the same vein of their old classic and can be described as a sort of continuance to the old prominence of the 80s.
Unlike some of their earlier releases, Mad Max played hard ball on this album. Through the tracklist of eleven tracks it was all around German Hard Rock and Heavy Metal in the vein of early 80s Accept blended with an American flavor. Without creating atmosphere using keyboards and other modern effects, the material was delivered straight up and with the kind of force that only 80s bands can come up with. Even though some might view this as a downfall or a shortcoming, the material played out quiet the same. Mad Max, next to with their dominant lead vocalist/guitarist Michael Voss, didn't seem to intend to write compositions out of the ordinary therefore everything will sound rather similar in orientation.
"Another Night Of Passion" is a good example of an album that is on a constant move with no withdrawals. Nearly the entire tracklist is a mid tempo of nonstop action. The songs are accessible and easy to comprehend; some are mere Rock anthems, under the same known formula that created most of the hits of the genre.
Yes, for new listeners they would probably sound like an old cliché but in the end of the day, and old school fans would probably will back you up on this, Mad Max have the experience on how to Rock it right and through the night!!

The debut full-length studio album by cult American Heavy/Glam Metal band.
Originally formed by two sisters (one from them, Roxy Petrucci, later left the band to join Vixen), the band also featured male members including future Skid Row vocalist Sebastian Bach (was a third vocalist for Madam X, after releasing this album)!
"We Reserve The Right", the only album by this 80's band, generated a minor buzz back in the eighties, with their somewhat Glammy image and simple, hook-laden anthemic Hard Rock songs. Completely over the top in every ridiculous Hair Metal cliched way, but as far as party-friendly Glam Metal goes, this one's a real keeper!  The lyrics are so moronically awesome believing they were written with a straight face, but singer Bret Kaiser delivers them awesomely sincere and the band rocks hard and shreds sweet, including the foxy Petrucci sisters Roxy and Maxine on drums and guitars respectively.  Most of the songs are so undeniably catchy that they are nearly impossible to resist if you have a spot for huge Hair Metal anthems!
Fist-pumping Rock & Roll anthems in the vein of Kiss, Twisted Sister, Van Halen, early Mötley Crüe and AC/DC with Great Kat-like guitar pyro-technical shredding! High-energy big-stage club Metal with tons of street-cred!!

The ninth full-length studio album by legendary American Pop singer.
The album, produced by Madonna and Mirwais Ahmadzaï, features references to many parts of American culture. It is a concept album, with themes of the American Dream and materialism. These themes reject the reputation Madonna held in the 1980s, earned by songs such as her worldwide hit "Material Girl" (1985).
The album contains Folk and Folktronica music, as well as influences of acoustic music.
"American Life" initially received mixed reviews; critics found the record confusing and "about Madonna". Retrospective reviews have been much warmer, with critics noting the album's consistency as well as acknowledging Madonna taking a risk musically.
After its release, "American Life" debuted at number one on the United States Billboard 200 chart with 241,000 copies sold in its first week. The sales were less than Madonna's previous studio album, "Music", which debuted with 420,000 copies in 2000, but was the only one that week to sell over 200,000 copies. It was Madonna's second consecutive number one debut, and her fifth number one album overall in the US.
In Canada, the album debuted at the top of the Canadian Albums Chart with sales of 18,000 copies on May 10, 2003. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the sum was considerably less than her previous studio efforts, "Ray Of Light" (1998) and "Music" (2000), which debuted with 59,000 and 50,000 copies respectively.
In the United Kingdom, "American Life" debuted atop the UK Albums Chart, with sales of 65,013 copies, much less than the opening sum of 2000's "Music", which debuted with sales of 151,891 copies. It was present for a total of 19 weeks on the chart, ranking at number 52 on the UK year-end tally.
The album peaked at number one in fourteen countries. In European countries, the album topped the charts in Austria, Belgium (Flanders), Belgium (Wallonia), Denmark, France, Italy, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and British Phonographic Industry (BPI) both certified it Platinum in recognition of 1,000,000 shipments in the United States, and 300,000 shipments in the United Kingdom, respectively. It gained a Platinum certification one month later from the Canadian Recording Industry Association (CRIA), for shipment of 100,000 copies of the album. In Japan, the album peaked at number four on the Oricon Weekly Albums chart remaining there for 13 weeks, and went on to gain a Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) that same year, for shipping 100,000 copies of the release. In Australia the album peaked at number three, before descending rapidly down the ARIA Albums Chart. Nevertheless, it gained a Platinum certification from the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) for shipping 70,000 copies. The album also gained Platinum certifications in countries such as France, Russia, and Switzerland, and Gold certifications in Brazil, Greece, and the Netherlands.
Overall, "American Life" became the 32nd best-selling album of 2003, with 5,000,000 copies sold worldwide. "American Life" garnered two nominations at the 46th Grammy Awards in 2004. However, it became the third lowest selling studio album by Madonna behind her 2012 release "MDNA" and her 2015 release "Rebel Heart", with sales of 680,000 copies as of October 2012, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
This double LP issued in a matte gatefold sleeve with generic die-cut inner sleeves with rounded corners. Although correctly spelled on the label, "Nothing Fails" is misspelled as "Nothing Falls" on the sleeve.

"Angel" became the singer's fifth consecutive top-five Single on the US Billboard Hot 100 and reached the top of its dance charts. It was also able to reach number-one in Australia and the top-five of the charts in Canada, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
On July 30, 1985, "Angel" and "Into the Groove" were together certified Gold by the RIAA for the shipment of one million copies across the United States (the requirement for a Gold Single prior to 1989). It was the first 12-inch Single to be certified Gold, since Frankie Smith's "Double Dutch Bus" (1981).

On this album, Madonna collaborated with Dallas Austin, Babyface, Dave "Jam" Hall, and Nellee Hooper, deciding to move into a more R&B direction. Madonna used this direction in a bid to soften her image following the critical and commercial backlash she faced after releasing several sexually explicit projects in the previous two years, notably the "Erotica" album and the "Sex" book. The huge success of the soundtrack single "I'll Remember" earlier that year marked the beginning of this transformation, and Madonna used "Bedtime Stories" to continue it.
A Pop, R&B and Hip Hop album, "Bedtime Stories" explores lyrical themes of love, sorrow and romance, but with a toned-down, less sexual approach. Critics described the album as "autobiographical", as the song "Human Nature" addresses the controversy surrounding her previous projects. Madonna also worked with Icelandic singer Björk on the track "Bedtime Story", as she wanted to explore the British club musical scene, where genres such as Dub had been growing in popularity.
The album yielded two US Billboard Hot 100 top-three Singles, "Secret" and "Take a Bow"; the latter stayed at number one for seven weeks on the chart. Its other singles, "Bedtime Story" and "Human Nature", were both top-ten hits on the UK Singles Chart. By the end of 1995, Madonna was named the Billboard Hot 100 Female Artist of the Year.
"Bedtime Stories" was nominated for Best Pop Album at the 38th Grammy Awards. The album debuted and peaked at number three on the US Billboard 200 and was certified triple Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It also became her fifth number-one album in Australia and charted within the top-five in many other countries, including Canada, France, Germany and the United Kingdom. "Bedtime Stories" has sold an estimated eight million copies worldwide.

The tenth full-length studio album by legendary American Pop singer.
“Confessions On A Dance Floor” is a complete departure from previous studio album "American Life" (2003). The album includes influences of 1970s and 1980s Disco, as well as modern-day club music. Musically, the album is structured like a DJ's set. The songs are sequenced and blended together so that they are played continuously without any gaps. The title arrived from the fact that the album track listing consists of light-hearted and happy songs in the beginning, and progresses to much darker melodies and lyrics describing personal feelings and commitments. Songs on the album sample and reference the music of other dance-oriented artists like ABBA, Donna Summer, Pet Shop Boys, the Bee Gees and Depeche Mode, as well as Madonna's 1980s output.
Four singles were released from the album. "Hung Up", the lead single, topped the charts in a total of 41 countries. According to Billboard, it was the most successful dance song of the decade. It was followed by "Sorry" which became Madonna's twelfth number-one single in the United Kingdom. "Get Together" and "Jump" were released as the third and fourth singles respectively, both becoming top-ten hits in several countries.
With the "Confessions On A Dance Floor" era, Madonna broke several world records and the album resuscitated her music sales and popularity, after the critical and commercial disappointment of "American Life". Most critics calling it a return to form for Madonna and ranking it alongside her best albums. Madonna was honored with a Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album in 2007, as well as International Female Solo Artist at the 2006 BRIT Awards. According to The Jerusalem Post, the album sold 4 million copies worldwide during the first week of release. Madonna became the best-selling female artist in the European market and the fifth best-selling artist overall, with a quadruple Platinum award by the IFPI.
Commercially, the album peaked at number one in 40 countries, earning a place in the 2007 Guinness Book of World Records for topping the record charts in the most countries. In the United Kingdom, "Confessions On A Dance Floor" became one of the fastest selling albums ever, with first week sales of 217610 copies according to the Official UK Charts Company. The third re-release of the fifth full-length studio album by legendary American Pop singer.
The first album of Madonna's career to bear Parental Advisory label, "Erotica" was banned in several Asian countries, such as China and Singapore. The album was released simultaneously with Madonna's first book publication "Sex", a coffee table book containing explicit photographs featuring the singer, and marked her first release under Maverick, her own multimedia entertainment company.
Ten years after signing her first recording contract with Sire Records, Madonna founded her own multimedia entertainment company, Maverick, consisting of a record company (Maverick Records), a film production company (Maverick Films), and associated music publishing, television broadcasting, book publishing and merchandising divisions. The deal was a joint venture with Time Warner and paid Madonna an advance of $60 million. It gave her 20% royalties from the music proceedings, one of the highest rates in the industry, equalled at that time only by Michael Jackson's royalty rate established a year earlier with Sony. She stated: "It started as a desire to have more control. There's a group of writers, photographers, directors and editors that I've met along the way in my career who I want to take with me everywhere I go. I want to incorporate them into my little factory of ideas. I also come in contact with a lot of young talent that I feel entrepreneurial about". The first two projects from the venture were her fifth studio album, "Erotica", and a coffee table book of photographs featuring Madonna, entitled "Sex".
"Erotica" is a concept album about sex and romance, incorporating her alter ego "Mistress Dita", inspired by actress Dita Parlo. Some of its songs also take on a more confessional tone, influenced by the loss of two of Madonna's close friends to AIDS.
Musically, the album mixes Dance, Electronica, Hip Hop, Deep House, Ambient Techno and R&B, and incorporates elements from classic Disco, modern House, Techno and New Jack Swing.
Commercially, the album was less successful than Madonna's previous albums, peaking at number 2 on the US Billboard 200, becoming her first studio album not to top the chart since her debut. Internationally, it topped the charts in Australia, Finland, and France, and peaked within the top five of several other countries such as Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. 
Somewhat overlooked at the time of its release in part due to the backlash surrounding the "Sex" book, Erotica has been retrospectively considered one of "The 100 Best Albums of the 1990s" by Slant Magazine and one of the most revolutionary albums of all time by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Many critics have since noted the album's influence on the works by female artists such as Janet Jackson and Beyoncé.
In the United States, "Erotica" debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 on November 7, 1992, with first week sales of 167,000 copies. It was eventually certified Double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments of two million units. In Canada, the album debuted at number seven on the RPM Albums Chart on November 7, 1992. It reached a peak of number four on November 21, 1992. The album was present for a total of 38 weeks on the chart, and was certified two times Platinum by Music Canada (MC) for shipments of 200,000 copies.
"Erotica" performed well in Latin America, mainly in countries where she toured for the first time. In Argentina, the album received four-times Platinum from the Cámara Argentina de Productores de Fonogramas y Videograma (CAPIF) for shipments of 240,000 copies. Similarly, in Mexico, "Erotica" achieved sales of 250,000 units according to Billboard. The album received a Gold certification from Pro-Música Brasil, denoting shipments of 100,000 units. Actual sales in Brazil stand at 180,000 copies, as of October 1993.
Across Europe, "Erotica" sold 1.5 million copies in the first week and topped the European Top 100 Albums chart. In the United Kingdom, the album debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart on October 24, 1992. It remained at its peak at number two for three weeks. The album was certified two times Platinum on June 1, 1993, by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for shipments of 600,000 copies. In France, the album debuted at number one on the French Albums Chart on October 28, 1992, staying there for two weeks, then descending the chart, selling a total of 250,000 copies by May 1993. In Germany, the album reached the top five on the Media Control Charts and was certified Gold for shipments of 250,000 copies. In Italy, "Erotica" sold 250,000 copies in its presales. In Sweden, the album debuted at its peak of number six and spent only seven weeks on the chart. Similarly, in Switzerland, "Erotica" peaked number five and was certified Gold by IFPI Switzerland. It also received a Platinum certification in Spain and sold 150,000 units there as of 1993. By November 1992, the album sold 350 copies in Iceland.
The album also attained success in Asia-Pacific countries. In Australia, "Erotica" entered the ARIA top 100 albums chart at number one, and was certified Triple Platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) for shipments of 210,000 copies. It also reached the top five on the New Zealand Albums Chart. "Erotica" reached a peak of number five on the Japan Oricon Albums Chart, and received a Double Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) for shipping 400,000 copies. At the 7th annual Japan Gold Disc Awards, Madonna was awarded the RIAJ's Artist of the Year with sales totalling ¥844 million throughout the year, an equivalent of $6.5 million ($12.19 million in 2021 dollars). The first album of Madonna's career to bear Parental Advisory label, "Erotica" was banned in several Asian countries, such as China and Singapore. The album was released simultaneously with Madonna's first book publication "Sex", a coffee table book containing explicit photographs featuring the singer, and marked her first release under Maverick, her own multimedia entertainment company.
Ten years after signing her first recording contract with Sire Records, Madonna founded her own multimedia entertainment company, Maverick, consisting of a record company (Maverick Records), a film production company (Maverick Films), and associated music publishing, television broadcasting, book publishing and merchandising divisions. The deal was a joint venture with Time Warner and paid Madonna an advance of $60 million. It gave her 20% royalties from the music proceedings, one of the highest rates in the industry, equalled at that time only by Michael Jackson's royalty rate established a year earlier with Sony. She stated: "It started as a desire to have more control. There's a group of writers, photographers, directors and editors that I've met along the way in my career who I want to take with me everywhere I go. I want to incorporate them into my little factory of ideas. I also come in contact with a lot of young talent that I feel entrepreneurial about". The first two projects from the venture were her fifth studio album, "Erotica", and a coffee table book of photographs featuring Madonna, entitled "Sex".
"Erotica" is a concept album about sex and romance, incorporating her alter ego "Mistress Dita", inspired by actress Dita Parlo. Some of its songs also take on a more confessional tone, influenced by the loss of two of Madonna's close friends to AIDS.
Musically, the album mixes Dance, Electronica, Hip Hop, Deep House, Ambient Techno and R&B, and incorporates elements from classic Disco, modern House, Techno and New Jack Swing.
Commercially, the album was less successful than Madonna's previous albums, peaking at number 2 on the US Billboard 200, becoming her first studio album not to top the chart since her debut. Internationally, it topped the charts in Australia, Finland, and France, and peaked within the top five of several other countries such as Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. 
Somewhat overlooked at the time of its release in part due to the backlash surrounding the "Sex" book, Erotica has been retrospectively considered one of "The 100 Best Albums of the 1990s" by Slant Magazine and one of the most revolutionary albums of all time by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Many critics have since noted the album's influence on the works by female artists such as Janet Jackson and Beyoncé.
In the United States, "Erotica" debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 on November 7, 1992, with first week sales of 167,000 copies. It was eventually certified Double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments of two million units. In Canada, the album debuted at number seven on the RPM Albums Chart on November 7, 1992. It reached a peak of number four on November 21, 1992. The album was present for a total of 38 weeks on the chart, and was certified two times Platinum by Music Canada (MC) for shipments of 200,000 copies.
"Erotica" performed well in Latin America, mainly in countries where she toured for the first time. In Argentina, the album received four-times Platinum from the Cámara Argentina de Productores de Fonogramas y Videograma (CAPIF) for shipments of 240,000 copies. Similarly, in Mexico, "Erotica" achieved sales of 250,000 units according to Billboard. The album received a Gold certification from Pro-Música Brasil, denoting shipments of 100,000 units. Actual sales in Brazil stand at 180,000 copies, as of October 1993.
Across Europe, "Erotica" sold 1.5 million copies in the first week and topped the European Top 100 Albums chart. In the United Kingdom, the album debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart on October 24, 1992. It remained at its peak at number two for three weeks. The album was certified two times Platinum on June 1, 1993, by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for shipments of 600,000 copies. In France, the album debuted at number one on the French Albums Chart on October 28, 1992, staying there for two weeks, then descending the chart, selling a total of 250,000 copies by May 1993. In Germany, the album reached the top five on the Media Control Charts and was certified Gold for shipments of 250,000 copies. In Italy, "Erotica" sold 250,000 copies in its presales. In Sweden, the album debuted at its peak of number six and spent only seven weeks on the chart. Similarly, in Switzerland, "Erotica" peaked number five and was certified Gold by IFPI Switzerland. It also received a Platinum certification in Spain and sold 150,000 units there as of 1993. By November 1992, the album sold 350 copies in Iceland.
The album also attained success in Asia-Pacific countries. In Australia, "Erotica" entered the ARIA top 100 albums chart at number one, and was certified Triple Platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) for shipments of 210,000 copies. It also reached the top five on the New Zealand Albums Chart. "Erotica" reached a peak of number five on the Japan Oricon Albums Chart, and received a Double Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) for shipping 400,000 copies. At the 7th annual Japan Gold Disc Awards, Madonna was awarded the RIAJ's Artist of the Year with sales totalling ¥844 million throughout the year, an equivalent of $6.5 million ($12.19 million in 2021 dollars). The second Single from the fourth full-length studio album, “Like A Prayer”, by legendary American Pop singer.
The Single was released on May 9, 1989, with "The Look of Love" on its B-side, from the 1987 film soundtrack "Who's That Girl".
When Madonna started work on "Like A Prayer", she considered many options, and thought about the musical direction for it. She had certain matters on her mind, including her troubled relationship with her husband Sean Penn, her family, her lost mother and even her belief in God. Madonna thought about lyrical ideas for the songs on topics that, until then, were personal meditation, never to be shared with her public so openly and pointedly. She came to the realization that as she and her fans were growing up, and it was time for her to move away from the teen appeal to wider audiences, and en-cash on the longevity of the album market. Madonna wanted her new sound to be calculative and indicative of what was fashionable, and ride the changing trend of music.
"Express Yourself" was the first song that Madonna and co-producer Stephen Bray collaborated on for "Like A Prayer". Written and produced by them, the song was a tribute to American Funk and Soul band Sly & The Family Stone. The main inspiration behind the song is female empowerment, urging women never to go for second-best and to urge their partners to express their inner feelings. 
The accompanying music video, directed by David Fincher, was inspired by the Fritz Lang classic film Metropolis (1927). It had a total budget of $5 million ($12.29 million in 2023 dollars), which made it the most expensive music video made up to then, and currently the third most expensive of all time.
Commercially, the song peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and became Madonna's eighth number-one hit on the European Hot 100 Singles chart. It also reached the top of the Singles charts in Canada and Switzerland, and the top five elsewhere. "Express Yourself" was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in August 1989, for shipment of 500 000 copies of the Single across the United States. In Canada, the song debuted at number 82 on the RPM Singles Chart and reached the top in its ninth week. It was present on the chart for 17 weeks and was the eighth best-selling Canadian Single for 1989. In Australia, "Express Yourself" was certified Gold by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) for shipment of 35 000 copies of the Single. At the year-end charts of ARIA, "Express Yourself" was the 28th best-selling Australian Single of 1989. Retrospective remix compilation celebrating Madonna's record-breaking milestone achievement as the first and only recording artist to have 50 #1 hits on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart, including Madonna’s favourite remixes, rare and unreleased versions, all newly remastered. The title derives from lyrics of the 50th number one, "I Don't Search I Find".
Madonna made history once again when she topped the Dance Club Songs chart for the 50th time, making her the first and only recording artist to have 50 #1 hits on any single Billboard chart. To celebrate this historic milestone, Madonna curated a new compendium that includes her favourite remixes of those chart-topping dance hits that have filled clubs worldwide for four decades. "Finally Enough Love" flows in mostly chronological order, showcasing the many musical reinventions that made Madonna an international icon.
The pre-sales of the vinyl format of "Finally Enough Love" sold out in less than 48 hours. The album entered at number eight on the Billboard 200, with 30 000 album-equivalent units. It became the top-selling album of the week, with pure sales of 28 000 units, consisting of 23 000 physical and 5,000 digital copies. In doing so, Madonna became the first woman with a Top Ten Album in each of the last five decades, from the 1980s to the 2020s; among women only Barbra Streisand has Top Ten Albums in most decades, with six (1960s–2010s).
"Finally Enough Love" is the first remix album to reach the Top Ten on the Billboard 200 since 2014, and the highest-charting Electronic/Dance remix album since 2010. Additionally, the album topped the US Top Dance/Electronic Albums, and Billboard 200's component's Top Current Album Sales as well Vinyl Albums, with 12 000 copies on vinyl, making it Madonna's largest sales week for a vinyl album since Luminate Data began tracking sales in 1991. As of April 2023, the compilation had sold 25 000 vinyls in the US.
Finally, "Enough Love" debuted atop the ARIA Albums Chart dated August 29, 2022, making it Madonna's 12th Number One Album in Australia. She broke her tie with U2 and Eminem to become the second act with the most chart-topping albums in Australia, behind the Beatles and Jimmy Barnes, each having 14 number ones. Madonna also became the first ever woman to have a Number One Album in five different decades in Australia.
The compilation also debuted at number two in several European countries, including Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland, while topping the charts in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Portugal, as well as the Croatian International album chart.
"Finally Enough Love" was certified Gold by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).

The final studio album of Madonna with the Warner Bros. Records, marking the end of a 25-year recording history, "Hard Candy" is primarily a Dance-Pop record, incorporating Hip Hop, Electropop, Disco, Electro, Funk and R&B. 
Madonna started working on the album in early 2007, and collaborated with Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, the Neptunes and Nate "Danja" Hills. The Pet Shop Boys were also asked to collaborate with Madonna on the album by Warner Bros., but the record company later changed their mind and withdrew their invitation.
After its release, "Hard Candy" debuted at number one in 37 countries worldwide, including the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Spain and the United Kingdom and became the eleventh best-selling album worldwide of 2008, according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. The album has sold more than 4 million copies worldwide.
According to Nielsen SoundScan, "Hard Candy" sold 100,000 copies in the United States upon its first day of release. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with over 280,000 copies sold. "Hard Candy" became Madonna's seventh number-one album, making her the female artist with the second most Billboard number one albums, behind only Barbra Streisand.
The album was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on June 4, 2008, for shipments of 500,000 copies in the United States. As of December 2016, "Hard Candy" has sold 751,000 copies.
In Canada, the album debuted at the top of the Canadian Albums Chart and was certified Platinum by the Music Canada (MC) for shipments of 80,000 copies. As of January 2009, the album sold 169,000 units in Canada according to Nielsen Company.
In Australia, "Hard Candy" became Madonna's seventh album to reach number one on the ARIA Albums Chart. The album was certified Platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) for shipments of 70,000 copies there.
In New Zealand, "Hard Candy" debuted and peaked at number five on May 5, 2008, staying on the chart for nine weeks.
The album debuted at number one on the Oricon weekly album chart in Japan, selling around 55,462 copies, retaining that position for a second week due to an increase of sales to almost 80,000 copies. "Hard Candy" was her first album to top the chart in 18 years since "I'm Breathless" (1990). Madonna also became the first international artist in Japanese chart history to have number-one albums in three consecutive decades.
In Latin America, the album reached number three in Mexico and was certified Platinum.
In Argentina, the album reached the number one spot in the weekly charts and number three on the Monthly Album chart of CAPIF, and was certified Platinum. It was also certified Gold in Chile. The album was particularly successful in Brazil, where the songs "4 Minutes", "Give It 2 Me", "Heartbeat", "Beat Goes On" and "Candy Shop" were all certified Platinum, for sales of 60,000 copies of the songs as digital downloads.
"Hard Candy" also debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart, making Madonna one of the few artists to achieve ten number one albums, behind Elvis Presley, with eleven, and the Beatles, with fifteen. The album was certified Platinum by the British Phonographic Industry for shipments of over 300,000 copies in the United Kingdom. According to the Official Charts Company, "Hard Candy" has sold 335,523 copies in the UK, as of September 2009.
It also reached the top of the European Top 100 Albums chart. In Germany, the album debuted at the top of the Media Control Charts and was present for forty weeks. In Ireland, the album debuted at the top of the Irish charts. "Hard Candy" also topped the albums chart in France. It sold 37,963 units in the first two days and was certified Platinum by the Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique (SNEP) for shipment of 200,000 copies. "Hard Candy was also the best-selling international album of 2008 in Italy according to Musica e dischi with over 170,000 units sold.

The third Single from the debut full-length studio album by legendary American Pop singer.
The label wanted to release "Lucky Star" as a stand-alone single, but changed their mind after "Holiday" began receiving heavy radio play and reached the first spot of Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart.
Initial pressings didn't feature an image of the singer on the cover – this was an intentional move from the record company, as they wanted to play with that idea and didn't want the public to find out Madonna wasn't black.
For its initial 1983 release, "Holiday" was backed with "I Know It", "Think of Me", or "Lucky Star", depending on the territory and format. 
In the United States, "Holiday" it was considered Madonna's breakthrough, peaking at number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100, and reaching number one on the Dance Club Songs chart. It found success outside North America as well, reaching the top-ten in Australia, Belgium, Germany and Ireland, among others.
