Debut full-length album by Italian Thrash Metal band.
This is a perfect example of a modern Thrash Metal band with influences of what Metallica did after the “Load” album. Vocalist has a particular style and seems that he is part of the base of Metallica fans in Italy. Anyway, Reapter band has strong musical skills and they created dynamic guitar riffs carefully placed in melodic structures. Everything is around the guitar work. Band did an excellent work on the debut album, but they have to work and get an own personality before they become another band with the sound of Hetfield and Co.
Anyway, this is the good Thrash Metal album for fans of Metallica and Megadeth!!

Really hot old school Metal from Amsterdam! Red Eyes deliver a great album with their debut. The album is very diverse with strong songwriting and great musicians that are heard with heart and soul into it . With Yordi Lopez and Mathieu Martel, are two strong guitarists at the start, along with the drums (Damian Lopez) and bass (Franggy Yanes) constitute the very Rock sound of this band. Lucas Pruim singer has a very distinctive raspy and hoarse voice, which sometimes almost the whole painting gives a slightly Bluesy - extremely high recognition value!
The highlight of this album is clearly the title song "Obey the Beast" - strong melodies, great instrumental interlude piece and an extremely good vocal performance! This beast clings to your ears and will not let go ... Red Eyes produce really good Hard Rock/old school Heavy Metal that leaves nothing to be desired. A very promising debut of a very interesting band that you should definitely keep in mind! Strong buy!!

The eighth full-length album by legendary American Alternative/Funk Rock band.
"By The Way" was a departure from the band's previous styles, and is recognized for the melodic and subdued emotions given by the Chili Peppers. Guitarist John Frusciante is credited with writing most of the album's melodies, bass lines, and guitar progressions. "By The Way" contained very little of the signature Punk-Funk fusion the band had become known for playing. Luckily, with this more sophisticated sound, the Peppers have not sacrificed any of their trademark energy or passions for life, universal love, and (of course) lust. Although they recorded the spiky "Abbey Road" EP in 1988, this album actually sounds a lot closer to the Beatles' "Abbey Road", with a little of "Pet Sounds" and elements of "Phil Spector"'s lushest arrangements all distilled through the band's well-traveled Funk-Pop stylings. Harmony vocals and string arrangements have replaced some of the aggressive slap bass that the group was initially recognized for, but fans of both the gentle and the fierce Chili Peppers styles will embrace the title track and first single, "By the Way". In fact, this song on its own could almost be a brief history of everything the Red Hot Chili Peppers have recorded: fiery Hollywood Funk, gentle harmonies, a little bit of singing about girls, a little bit of hanging out in the streets in the summertime, some rapid-fire raps from Anthony Kiedis, some aggro basslines from Flea.
Overall, the album leans more toward the melodic end of their oeuvre, but they have grown into this kinder, gentler mode organically, progressively working toward this groove little by little, album by album. What once were snapshots of a spastic Punk-Funk lifestyle have grown into fully realized short stories of introspection and "Californication". Though the pace of the album falters at times, it is refreshing to see that as the four Chili Peppers continue to grow older and more sure of themselves, their composition and performing skills are maturing along with them!
The album was sold over 286000 copies in the first week, and peaked at number two on the Billboard 200. (Their next album would peak at number one). The album received mostly favorable reviews, with many praising newcomer Josh Klinghoffer for breathing new life into the veteran band. It featured four singles, including alternative number-one hit, "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie", "Monarchy of Roses", "Look Around" and "Brendan's Death Song". "Did I Let You Know" was released exclusively in Brazil thanks to response from a poll voted on by the fans, though it was not considered a proper single.

The fourth full-length studio album by legendary American Alternative/Funk/Rap Rock band.
"Mother's Milk" was the first step for the band in achieving international success and turned the tide and transformed the band from Underground Funk-Rocking Rappers to mainstream bad boys with seemingly very little effort.
After the death of founding guitarist Hillel Slovak and the subsequent departure of drummer Jack Irons, vocalist Anthony Kiedis and bassist Flea regrouped with the addition of guitarist John Frusciante and drummer Chad Smith. Frusciante's influence altered the band's sound by placing more emphasis on melody than rhythm, which had dominated the band's previous material. Returning producer Michael Beinhorn favoured Heavy Metal guitar riffs as well as overdubbing. Frusciante perceived Beinhorn's taste as excessive, and as a result, the two constantly fought over the album's guitar sound.
"Mother's Milk" was a greater commercial success than the band's first three albums, peaking at number 52 on the US Billboard 200, and number 32 on the U.S. Cash Box album charts. The record failed to chart in the United Kingdom and Europe, but climbed to number 33 in Australia. The album was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America in late March 1990 (it is now certified Platinum) and was the first Red Hot Chili Peppers' album to ship in excess of 500 000 units. In 2005, Mother's Milk was ranked number 359 in Rock Hard magazine's book "The 500 Greatest Rock & Metal Albums of All Time".
In 2003, the album was re-released through EMI; all tracks were completely remastered, and an additional six songs were included, as well as handwritten liner notes from Flea.

The second full-length album by Italian Melodic Death Metal/Gothic Metal band.
Regardless Of Me definitely has their own thing going on. Their music is labeled as Melodic Progressive Trip Hop Death on their myspace page. Basically this is MeloDeath with some tech aspects and female vocals. We can hear influences from Dark Tranquility, Evanescence and Meshuggah on “Pleasures And Fear”, and it kind of works too. Evanescence is only mentioned because the female vocals are very similar. The music has nothing in common with Evanescence what so ever. As far as the music and growls go, the melodic content reminds of Dark Tranquility around “Projector”. Especially the Dark Tranquility's hit “Undo Control” is brought to mind by Regardless Of Me.
When the songs turn more towards the technical side, the riffing is somewhat Meshuggah-esque. The mix of these elements compose the entity that is Regardless Of Me. They have their own thing going, both in song structure and production. At times it brings The Project Hate to mind, if only for a short while.
“Pleasures And Fear” is solid stuff from A to Z. They are definitely moving in the right direction!!
