The first re-release of the fourth full-length studio album by Swedish Death Metal band.
It is the only Aeon record featuring bassist Marcus Edvardsson, who left the band in March 2013, and the first record since 1999's “Dark Order” to feature drummer Arttu Malkki. It is also the last album to feature Malkki as he has left the band due to family reasons, as well as the last album to feature rhythm guitarist Daniel Dlimi.
With this album, Aeon shows the band nailing a leap in quality, knocking spots off their previous output and showing the band turning into a seriously tight and focused beast.
Their Florida sound has been honed in exceptionally well, taking the finest parts from the likes of Morbid Angel or Hate Eternal and fusing it with a modern brand of their home-grown Death Metal style. The production is particularly well done and could be seen as a something of a shining example of the Modern Death Metal sound. Leaning both towards a mechanical and a natural feel, the tones are well-rounded and thanks to a quality mix the clarity is excellent. The drums lean more on the mechanical side of the spectrum, although thankfully they don't abuse the clicking sound too much. Tones sound quality here, and it should come as no surprise that this particularly rings true in the guitar tones, from the savage tone anchoring the riffs all the way to the crystal lead tone; the guitars sound superb and definitely own the show.
"Aeons Black" without doubt ranks among the finer releases of the year, and appeal to fans of acts such as Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, Bloodbath, or even Hour Of Penance.
Limited to 200 numbered copies, Blue/Black Vinyl in gatefold cover includes Poster.

The fifth full-length studio album by Swedish Death Metal band.
Aeon returns with a record that is bigger, harder, and stronger in every way!
A darker, even more epic collection, it is everything an Aeon fan could want with a few surprises in store, pushing the genre in new directions and once again asserting that they are one of the most important bands in Extreme Metal.
With dramatic artwork by Italian artist Paolo Girardi, the final piece of the puzzle, the finished package extends Aeon’s legacy and gives the genre the push that was intended from the outset.
They may have been gone a long time but make no mistake: Aeon are back, and "God Ends Here" will lay waste to all!!
The album is dedicated to L.G. Petrov 1972-2021.

The fifteenth full-length studio album by legendary American Hard Rock/Blues Rock band.
This is band's first studio album in eight years, since 2004's "Honkin' On Bobo", and the first in eleven years to feature all-new material, since 2001's "Just Push Play", marking the longest gap between Aerosmith's studio albums.
Aerosmith truly show their age by the very nature of the album itself. Simply put, nobody makes albums like this anymore. Nobody breaks the bank attempting to make a Rock album that's everything to everyone, and Aerosmith sound entirely oblivious to this state of affairs, carrying on like it was 1997. And, in a sense, as an overall piece of product, "Music From Another Dimension!" is no worse than "Nine Lives". It's faithfully follows Aerosmith's '90s blueprint, getting nothing wrong but never quite feeling right.
The album includes the singles: "Legendary Child", "Lover Alot", "What Could Have Been Love", and "Can't Stop Lovin' You".
“Music From Another Dimension!” debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 selling just 63000 copies its first week, a sharp contrast to previous debuts. The album received mostly mixed reviews from music critics, with online review site Metacritic calculating an aggregate score of 54/100 based on 22 reviews.

Debut full-length album by Mexican Thrash Metal band.
Old school Raw Thrash Metal that has a lot of conviction to it execution wise.
Agggressor play mostly fast, very riff-orientated and rough Thrash Metal with amazingly high energy levels. These Mexican fellows know how to Thrash - and how to Thrash convincingly enough to be a bit more precise with all of you. A cover song done for "Painkiller"" by Judas Priest, does also sound pretty kickass. They have surely given some close ear to their cover song choice, no doubts.
As for the production on "Release Of Aggression", this is just a demo standard production but it actually is meant to be so on purpose, just to provide more of that old school feel to the album. Agggressor is a very potential Thrash Metal band, absolutely!

The second re-release of the third full-length studio album by legendary Swedish Melodic Death Metal band.
After nearly a decade of recording and a few line-up overhauls, each contributor to Amon Amarth's previous effort, "The Avenger", stuck around for "The Crusher". Original members Johan Hegg (vocals) and Olavi Mikkonen (guitars) again joined by Fredrik Andersson on drums, Johan Söderberg on guitar, and bassist Ted Lundström.
There is nothing new on this outing to surprise fans of this band's familiar Scandinavian Death Metal. The riffing from guitar and drums is workmanlike, and Hegg's vocal rants carry all the requisite ferocity. During slower, more musically focused numbers like "As Long as the Raven Flies" and the opener, "Bastards of a Lying Breed", certain attributes of '80s Thrash and song-driven Metal create spaces that enhance the rest of this album's dense material.
"The Crusher" blends seamlessly with the rest of Amon Amarth's Metal Blade catalogue. There isn't a standout among these recordings, as their textural differences are negligible. Listeners who enjoy this kind of Metal should certainly check out Amon Amarth, and "The Crusher" would be a good place to start!

The third full-length album by Italian Progressive Thrash Metal band.
This band have been playing Thrash Metal for close to fifteen years now, and they are produces really good quality Thrash Metal, but not as you might expect. This isn't the incredibly heavy grind of Kreator, nor is it the more mainstream Thrash Metal that a lot of people will be familiar with.
The opening track, "N.I.F. (New Interstellar Force)" has a very atmospheric intro, and then becomes almost a Crossover Thrash tune. It's really catchy and a great way to kick off this record. The second track, "…Hyperspace", is everything you'd want from a Thrash Metal song; it's fast and aggressive, but has a lot of melodic elements thrown in as well. At some points, it has an air of Gama Bomb about it. "Sea of Stars" begins with a nice acoustic intro, before becoming a full-blown melodic Thrash Metal track. Like all of the songs on this album, the guitar work on this track is pretty cool. The album's title track is, like the last track, Melodic Thrash Metal, but with a bit more aggression thrown in there for good measure. "Colonizing Asteroids" opens on a very military, marching kind of drumming, bursting into life after about half a minute and turning into a song that sounds like what Megadeth would be like if they had gone more down a Prog route. The highlight of the end of the album is "Dead Zone", which is a powerful Thrash Metal anthem.
This band don't fit into the traditional pigeon-holes of Thrash Metal. They go for a more melodic sound, which a lot of other people will like!!

Second full-length album by the Italian Thrash Metal band.
With their second full-length album, "Perception Of This World", band have decided to take their other influences further than they did with their 2009 debut album "Human Key". Ancient Dome don't really fail this time either. At first, the album is about speedy and simple Thrash Metal songs. They sound a lot like Bay Area Thrashings, but the band start to sound more individual, too. "Confused Certainty" includes some later Death style Technical/Progressive guitar work. This time around the performances from the musicians are better. It's great to hear, that the drums are now competent and devoid of clumsiness. The shouty vocals all the way through, sometimes reminding of Schmier of Destruction and Death Angel's Mark Osegueda. The band's biggest advantage is their style to give all those familiar influences their own stamp and turn it to sound like Ancient Dome.
Excellent technical and melodic Thrash Metal for fans of Sodom, Forbidden, Testament, Megadeth, Heathen, Metallica, Coroner, Artillery and Death Angel!!

Third re-release of the debut full-length studio album by legendary Canadian Technical Thrash Metal band.
Annihilator's brand of technical, thinking man's Thrash Metal garnered many fans with this fine debut, arguably the best release of the band's career. A brief acoustic guitar piece called "Crystal Ann" introduces the excellent title track: a psychological murder thriller supposedly based on a disturbed young girl's true story.
Leader Jeff Waters takes himself a little too seriously at times (see the Edgar Allan Poe-influenced "Ligeia" and his ridiculously erudite commentary on each song's lyrics), but he is equally prone to refreshing flashes of humor on "Word Salad" and "Schizos Are Never Alone". The spectacularly named Randy Rampage proves himself to be a versatile vocalist on "Wicked Mystic" and "Burns Like a Buzzsaw Blade". The careening closer "Human Insecticide" is magnificent for its sheer speed.
The album is full of technical riffs and solos from guitarist and songwriter Jeff Waters that are sure to please any fan of Thrash Metal. "Alice In Hell" features very few dull moments, as each of the songs are very powerful in their own way, and would not look out of place on a record from any of the big four of Thrash. Somehow the band did not gain the same popularity as some of the other Thrash acts, especially in North America, which is unfortunate, as the band put out some very quality material. "Alice In Hell" ranks near the top of the band's discography, and is definitely an essential Thrash album!!

First re-release of the second full-length studio album by legendary Canadian Technical Thrash/Speed Metal band.
As the highest selling Canadian Metal band, it would be fair to say that they have achieved a large amount across their long and fruitful career, having put out two absolute pillars within Thrash Metal in their first two albums. The band is renowned for the high level of technical proficiency across each instrument as well as their complex and catchy riffs and jumps between fast and slower sections in the blink of an eye. It was this formula that made such songs as "Alison Hell" from their debut album "Alice In Hell" so good, which would continue onto the follow-up.
"Never, Neverland" being a step up from their fantastic debut. The title track, "Road To Ruin", and "'The Fun Palace" are regarded by many as being some of the best tracks the band has ever put out, featuring some memorable vocal lines and spectacular riffing. The bass playing on these tracks is flawless, whilst the drumming is the stuff of legend, with some really Groovy lines. The sheer cohesiveness of this entire release is almost untouchable, and what is even more amazing is that the band's vocal work not only fits in with the other instruments, but actually adds to it. Coburn Pharr has a rather awesome slightly high-pitched shout and sneer that he uses for many songs, occasionally leaping between even higher shrieks and some lower notes to make for the complete vocal performance. "The Fun Palace" kicks this album off in spectacular fashion with some of the best flowing guitar work in Thrash Metal history. Whilst people such as Kirk Hammett just shred as fast as they can and abuse the wah pedal, Jeff Waters scatters various techniques throughout and lays down some beautiful melodies in his solos. This can be found on various songs. "Sixes And Sevens" shows great effect with a chorus that you will roar along to and stamp your feet in the most defiant way possible upon hearing a few times...
Comparable to Metallica and Judas Priest at their heaviest, "Never, Neverland" is a blistering gem that takes no prisoners. Much heavier than the many Pop-Metal units flooding the market in the late '80s and early '90s, it was one of 1990s strongest Metal releases. The true icing on the cake for "Never, Neverland" is its crystal clean but aggressive production job. The guitars have more bite than a pissed off Rottweiler, whilst the drums pound away incessantly without ever completely overbearing the mix. The bass is consistently audible, and the vocals are well-placed right at the centre of the production. This is one of the best jobs in Thrash Metal and really is the last nail in the coffin for almost every other Thrash album attempting to compete with this. If you are a Metal fan, and you have not heard "Never, Neverland", kindly do yourself a favour and listen to this, as it is a masterpiece of Thrash Metal!

Second re-release of the second full-length studio album by legendary Canadian Technical Thrash/Speed Metal band.
The second full-length studio album by Italian Heavy/Power Metal band.
With the band's second album, we can see the small, various changes within Anthenora’s approach to their music. The music became heavier and fiercer, as its composers concentrated less on making their new release more 80s like, as it was on the debut. "Soulgrinder" delivers a well-done meld of Old and New School Heavy/Power Metal. The choosing of a rather more modernized sound made wonders for Anthenora. Furthermore, on "Soulgrinder", unlike on the debut, the vocals by Luigi Bonansea are better. Therefore, when it comes to the music, Anthenora served themselves well.
As far as the material goes, it is pretty much the same as on "The Last Command", the songs are chopping and crunching with the sense of Heavy/Power Metal. The themes did not change as well and that is the reason why WWII stories of valour and other fantasy epics are presented with pride, and it won’t ever seem to change.
When testing the overall production, it’s a different story, it looks as if Anthenora wanted to sound heavier and stronger on their new release, that is why they practised their music, under the 80s roots, while introducing a modernized sound. The result is obvious, hard crunchy guitars with hints and moments of almost Thrash-like and crude bass. The compositions presented are fast and speedy as on their earlier material, yet there are tracks that put aside the speed piece and spread out, to a certain extent, to slightly slower tunes. Through these slow tempo demonstrations, you would find it easier to see how these guys progressed as they use modern, joined up with old influences.
Alongside the instruments and the rhythms, there is the massive improvement in the vocal district. Luigi Bonansea much better with his singing in English as opposed to the debut. As the music got a lot heavier, his pattern became rather crooked and raspy. Moreover, he became relatively fluent and emotional with the lyrics and listeners will actually have the ability to recognize what he is singing about.
All in all, the album is worth to be in your CD player. So, give it a chance and check it out!

Classic Rock covers EP by legendary American Thrash Metal band.
Anthrax have always had a thing for the odd cover. Search early albums and you'll hear their takes on Black Sabbath and Sex Pistols. Then, of course, there's the legendary version of Public Enemy's "Bring the Noise", a song that played a massive role in their success.
For the "Anthems" EP, they tackle six classic Rock radio staples from their teenage years: Rush's "Anthem", AC/DC's "T.N.T.", Boston's "Smokin'", Journey's "Keep on Runnin'", Cheap Trick's "Big Eyes", and Thin Lizzy's "Jailbreak". Beside cover songs from some of the band's favorite acts of the 1970s, EP features two versions of "Crawl", a song from their previous studio album "Worship Music".
The EP was recorded during 2012 at various locations. Although it was initially scheduled to be released as part of a Special Edition of "Worship Music", the record was released both separately and on a Deluxe Edition. It was released on March 19, 2013 through Megaforce Records in North America, and three days later by Nuclear Blast in Europe. This was the band's last release to feature lead guitarist Rob Caggiano, who left the band subsequently.
"Anthems" isn't a statement of some grand scheme to introduce their fanbase to six of their big influences. "Anthems" is about five guys, most of whom have been playing together for their entire adult lives, having a good time with what they do. While it's hard not to wish for a bit more, it's easy to admire what they give us and why, even if none of the above is as surprising as they think it is. All in all, "Anthems" is an interesting diversion while fans wait for the next album!
The “Anthems” received favorable reviews by music critics and debuted at number 52 on the Billboard 200, selling approximately 8500 copies in its first week of release. By April 10, 2013, "Anthems" had sold 14000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen Soundscan.

The second full-length album by Italian Death Metal band.
Melodic and at the same time Brutal Death Metal sound. The metric is particularly Technical and Progressive but it preserves the violent impact, combined in pressing and rapid drums and vocals interweaving in growl and scream lines, that give tracks a personal and evolving tone from the start to the end.
Arkana Code differs markedly from other bands playing Extreme Metal for the personal and particular sound, for the concept of the band and the imaginary transmitted on the stage. The project has an imaginary of an ancient code discovered and decrypted in every band's release, narrating stories decrypted in this code, transposition of situations we live in our life.
This is a concept album. The lyrics decrypted from the code talks about an ancestral civilization, the terrifying situation they lived, lobotomized, about cruelty that was impregnated in their existence. Every track has a personal story, with imaginary horror. Anachronistic, mysterious, ancient, with a transposition in our days. All that can be transposed in our existence...
