The eleventh full-length studio album by legendary American Heavy/Thrash Metal band.
The band's second studio album to be released through their own record label, Blackened Recordings, "72 Seasons" was produced by Greg Fidelman, who produced the band's previous studio album, "Hardwired... To Self-Destruct" (2016).
"72 Seasons" debuted at number 2 on the US Billboard 200, selling 146 000 copies in the first week, with 134 000 coming from pure album sales; this marked the band's twelfth album to chart in the top 10 and the first since "...And Justice For All" not to debut at number 1 on the US Billboard 200.
The album debuted at number-one in 20 different countries including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
As of June 23, 2023 the album has earned 266 000 equivalent album units in the United States.
The five-section cross-form digipak, housed in a die-cut slipcase, includes a 16-page booklet.

Ex-member Dave Mustaine co-wrote four of the original ten tracks, but the material all sounds of a piece. The band's musical ambition also grew rapidly, so today, "Kill 'Em All" sounds more like the foundation for greater things to come. But that doesn't take anything away from how fresh it sounded upon first release, and time hasn't dulled the giddy rush of excitement in these performances. Frightening, awe-inspiring, and absolutely relentless, "Kill 'Em All" is pure destructive power, executed with jaw-dropping levels of scientific precision!!

The sixth full-length studio album by the legendary American Heavy Metal band.
The album garnered backlash from a portion of the band's fan base because of a shift in tone from the band's previous efforts ("Load" features a Bluesier sound than the band's previous outings). This time it was more Heavy Metal album according to previous Thrash Metal albums.
For a hardcore pre-"Load" Metallica fan, "Load" will come as a bit of a surprise. The album sounds a bit insecure, because Metallica seem to be in unfamiliar territory, trying to get a bit deeper than they normally would. It also has a bit of a Western sounding feel to it, from songs like "Ronnie" and "The Outlaw Torn". However, there are some rocking songs on this album, that still have the essence of Metallica but still sounds different.
James Hetfields lyrics here are much more deeper and complex than other albums, which is a nice surprise. "Mama Said" for example is a touching song of James's feelings towards his dead mother, and is very personal. Fans who likes James' lyrics from previous albums may find these lyrics frustrating, seeing as there is more than the literal meaning to them. That said, songs like "Cure" see Hetfield trying a bit too hard to be poetic, but "Cure" is essentially the only to be trying too hard, the rest are of a higher standard than previous albums.
"Load" sold 680,000 units in its first week, making it the biggest opening week for Metallica and the biggest debut of 1996.
It's debuted (and spent four consecutive weeks) at #1 on Billboard 200. The album has sold over 5,000,000 copies in United States and is certified 5x Platinum by the RIAA.
This album is very far from the "Black Album", and some fans may be put off by this, however, it is still a fantastic album. The songs here are just as rocking as other albums, but wanting to dig a bit deeper, which is a good thing! Buy this album and see for yourself!!

Remastered re-release of the third full-length studio album by legendary American Thrash Metal band.
“Master Of Puppets” marks the last Metallica album with bassist Cliff Burton, who died in a bus accident while touring to promote the album.
Even though "Master Of Puppets" didn't take as gigantic a leap forward as "Ride The Lightning", it was the band's greatest achievement, hailed as a masterpiece by critics far outside Heavy Metal's core audience. It was also a substantial hit, reaching the Top 30 and selling three million copies despite absolutely nonexistent airplay.
Instead of a radical reinvention, "Master Of Puppets" is a refinement of past innovations. In fact, it's possible to compare "Ride The Lightning" and "Master Of Puppets" song for song and note striking similarities between corresponding track positions on each record. Though it isn't as startling as "Ride The Lightning", "Master Of Puppets" feels more unified, both thematically and musically. Everything about it feels blown up to epic proportions, and the band feels more in control of its direction. The arrangements are thick and muscular, and the material varies enough in texture and tempo to hold interest through all its twists and turns.
Some critics have called "Master Of Puppets" the best Heavy Metal album ever recorded; if it isn't, it certainly comes close. The album reached #29 on the U.S. Billboard 200 album chart and was the band's first Gold record for sales of over 500,000 copies. This was done without any radio airplay or the release of a music video. The album eventually was certified 6 x Platinum by the RIAA.
The album is considered a classic Thrash Metal album by fans, critics and the band members themselves, and is considered to be one of the most influential Heavy Metal albums of all time!!

Album was released on July 27, 1984 through the independent record label Megaforce Records and was re-released on November 19, 1984 by Elektra Records. "Ride the Lightning" is the last Metallica album to credit former member, Dave Mustaine.
"Kill 'Em All" may have revitalized Heavy Metal's Underground, but "Ride The Lightning" was even more stunning, exhibiting staggering musical growth and boldly charting new directions that would affect Heavy Metal for years to come. Incredibly ambitious for a one-year-later sophomore effort, "Ride The Lightning" finds Metallica aggressively expanding their compositional technique and range of expression. Every track tries something new, and every musical experiment succeeds mightily. The lyrics push into new territory as well - more personal, more socially conscious, less Metal posturing. But the true heart of "Ride The Lightning" lies in its rich musical imagination. First official re-release of the first EP by legendary American Thrash Metal band.
EP of cover songs to "break-in" new member Jason Newsted, the "Garage Days Re-Revisited" (sub)title is a reference to side B of the "Creeping Death" single. The Extended Play album consists entirely of covers of late-70's and early 80's New Wave of British Heavy Metal bands and Hardcore / Punk music, rehearsed in Lars Ulrich's soundproofed garage and then recorded in Los Angeles over the course of six days. It is the band's first recording to feature its new bassist Jason Newsted, and also the band's first release following the death of second bassist Cliff Burton.
With Metallica scheduled to play the 1987 Monsters Of Rock Festival at Castle Donington, the band's UK label Vertigo Records suggested them to release an Extended Play album for the situation. Songwriting attempts with new bassist Jason Newsted only resulted in a demo for "Blackened", and frontman James Hetfield broke his arm skateboarding, so the band resorted to recording covers. This is reminiscent to how the European "Creeping Death" single had led to two B-sides that were cover songs, labeled "Garage Days Revisited". Newsted used his construction experience to install soundproofing on Lars Ulrich's garage in El Cerrito, California, where the band would rehearse.
Five-tracks covers EP seemed to confirm that not only was everything back on track after the death of Cliff Burton, but that despite their impending fame, they were still very much in tune with the grubby Metal and Punk scenes that spawned them. You might reasonably argue that the entire NWOBHM nostalgia industry grew from this one record, as these spiky, loose-limbed assaults on songs by Diamond Head, Holocaust and Budgie were most fans’ introduction to those bands’ oeuvres. Of the three, Diamond Head’s "Helpless" remains the highlight, while Newsted’s thunderous intro to Budgie’s "Crash Course In Brain Surgery" is still amongst the most joyous noises you will ever hear. No wonder the fans took to him so readily. Meanwhile, Metallica’s ferocious take on Killing Joke’s "The Wait" (not included on the EP’s originally UK release) is an eerie joy and, most famously, their gleeful decimation of the Misfits’ "Last Caress/Green Hell" proudly muddied the waters between Punk and Metal and, ultimately, must have bought Glenn Danzig at least one new house. After "Last Caress/Green Hell" has ended, there are a few seconds of Metallica covering, deliberately out of key, the intro to Iron Maiden's "Run to the Hills", then it's faded out (Iron Maiden responded to this in 1992 on the B-Side to "Be Quick Or Be Dead").
Yes, the whole thing has been remastered and sounds great, but this was never an exercise in sonic perfection: instead, crank it up and enjoy the sound of one of Metal’s greatest ever bands saluting their heroes and kicking out the jams!!

First official release of the debut full-length album by cult Brazilian Heavy Metal band.
Originally self-released by the band in 2012, it's a comeback album of an old Brazilian band.
Metalmorphose was formed in Rio de Janeiro in 1983. In 1985, they debuted on vinyl with the release of the "Ultimatum" - a split album with Dorsal Atlântica. Dorsal Atlântica and Metalmorphose was two pioneers, when it came to Brazilian Heavy Metal. Every Brazilian Metalhead has grown up with tunes such as Metalmorphose track "Cavaleiro Negro" and Dorsal Atlântica's "Império de Satã" from this split album. Dorsal Atlântica went on to pursue a career in the Underground Metal circle and continued to release albums up to 2005. Metalmorphose however took a different route, and they continued to play live, write and record demo material, but nothing more was released, except a vinyl Single "Correntes" in 1986. After that, the band disbanded.
In 2008, a friend of the band were putting together a tribute to The Beatles "White Album", as it was 40 years of that important album's release. Metalmorphose was asked to participate, and suddenly the original line-up was back together, recording a Metal version of The Beatles track "Sexy Sadie". They had a blast and are since then reunited, and the legacy of this band lives on!
Two compilation and one live albums was released between 2009 and 2010. Then, in 2012, came this first full-length studio album by these forefathers of Brazilian Metal! It was about time!! And now is a time for you to listen it!!!

The seventh full-length studio album by legendary American Funk/Soul/Pop singer.
The downside to a success like "Thriller" is that it's nearly impossible to follow, but Michael Jackson approached "Bad" much the same way he approached "Thriller" - take the basic formula of the predecessor, expand it slightly, and move it outward. This meant that he moved deeper into Hard Rock, deeper into schmaltzy adult contemporary, deeper into hard dance - essentially taking each portion of "Thriller" to an extreme, while increasing the quotient of immaculate studiocraft.
Released nearly five years after it's predecessor, "Thriller" (1982), "Bad" saw Jackson exercise even more artistic freedom than he did with his two previous releases ("Off The Wall" and "Thriller"). Jackson composed nine of the album's eleven tracks, and received co-producer credit for the entire album. The album marked the final collaboration between Jackson and producer Quincy Jones.
Nine of the eleven songs (ten on vinyl version) on "Bad" were released as singles; one was a promotional single, and another was released outside of the United States and Canada. The only songs on the album, which were not released as commercial singles, were "Speed Demon" and "Just Good Friends".
With seven hit singles out of eleven tracks, "Bad" could easily be thought of as a greatest hits album. Songs such as "Bad" and "Dirty Diana" show a harder, more Rocking approach to the music. Jackson's universal appeal, along with his hiccup vocals and huge Pop sound, is still very much in focus.
The album continued Jackson's commercial success in the late 1980s, and garnered six Grammy Award nominations, winning two. Apart from commercial success, the album was well received by contemporary critics. For the first time on vinyl, the seventeenth full-length studio album by legendary British Progressive/Ambient/Experimental Pop/Rock musician.
In 1992, after leaving Virgin, Mike signed a three album contract with Warner records. Starting with "Tubular Bells II", "Voyager" was the last of the three, recorded to finish this contract off. Oldfield stayed with Warner until 2003, where his final album for the label was "Tubular Bells 2003".
Released in 1996 by Warner Music UK, it is a Celtic-themed album with new compositions intertwined with traditional pieces. The suggestion of doing a Celtic album came from the record company, who no doubt had in mind the popularity of acts such as Riverdance at the time. Mike liked the idea, feeling that Celtic music was easy for him, as his natural way of playing music is rooted in Celtic playing styles. What emerged was a very calm, relaxed album, with this feel influenced by Mike's then recent discoveries of meditations and Tai Chi. In an interview from the time, Oldfield claimed that the album was one of his quickest to create, only taking a month and a half to record, also claiming that he composed and recorded some songs in one morning.

Misery Inc. utilized a modern Death Metal sound while also incorporating the harsh-clean vocal dynamic of many Metalcore bands.
Very melodic and catchy in the style of modern Finnish bands but with a vibe similar to older Sentenced!

Originally released on November 9, 1987, "In 100 Years…" is the only Single from the "In The Garden Of Venus" album, which was the duo's final release before their split in the end of the year.
"In 100 Years…" is a song about a person, who believes that the current lack of empathy and understanding may lead to a dystopian future in which feelings, including love, are illegal, and in which expressions of romance and humanity will be only a distant memory.
The song samples Richard Burton's spoken introduction to "The Eve of the War" from Jeff Wayne's "Musical Version Of The War Of the Worlds" album.
The Single charted at number 30 in Germany and number 4 in Spain.
