The third full-length album by Austrian Melodic Heavy Metal band.
After a long abstinence they are back again in the scene. At that time, in the course of the release they toured through Europe under the slogan “Metal For Greenpeace”, but they didn’t present on this CD only the love for the nature, they also feature music for every taste. Kurt Ninaus, ex-member and former Blowin Free / Burning Vision guitarist, was still involved with some titles as a songwriter, Gary Wheeler, the noble voice, likewise from Blowin Free, press the stamp of recognize on this silicon product, which melted in good quality Hard Rock, AOR and Metal. For example with the refrain on “Doctor Love” you can see Paul Stanley stagger, the excellent mystic-pounder “Indian Spirit” even serves the US-Metal lovers. However, this album is in the sum of all parts still only for Melodic Rockers.

Bloodrocuted start off their second album with an homage to legendary Quentin Tarantino movie "Pulp Fiction", by “covering” a cool version of Samuel L. Jackson’s reciting of psalm Ezekiel 25-17, fittingly called the reversed, “71-52 Leikeze”. After their attention grabbing, they can only be further accused of 9 counts of Rocking.
Bloodrocuted takes the best of Anthrax, Megadeth and Slayer, mingles it together and produces a really solid album with some well-crafted songs and an all-around delicious Thrashiness. They really sound great, and especially Slayer’s influence comes through very clearly. Speedy guitars and bass playing from Jason Bond and Daan Swinnen, heavy hitting drums from Sander Vogt and Bob Briessinck’s kickass hoarse screaming voice are the ingredients of this tasty dish of Thrash Metal.
The production is in your face and aggressive, which goes well with the numerous Thrash Metal riffs. As expected, these riffs generally feature lots of palm-muting, excellent rhythmic dexterity (both in terms of down-picking stamina and throwing in gallops and tremolo picking), and lots of speed. A familiar sound is good, especially given the nature of Thrash Metal, some of the riffs definitely feel a close to specific riffs from 80s giants.
“Disaster Strikes Back” is a formidable effort for all fans of Thrash Metal. So go check them out and let them drag you to their realm of balls to the wall Thrash Metal!

Originally released independently on September 2013, this beauty of an album is being reissued by Punishment 18 Records at May 25th, and the album does really pack a punch or two. The band show you right off the bat what music style they stand for. Fast, powerful and awesomely sounding Thrash Metal! You can immediately hear that classic Thrashers like Slayer and Anthrax have served as a direct inspiration for their sound.
Virtually all of the album's tracks are a mixture of fast, brutal guitar riffs with some melodic pieces thrown in here and there. In both cases, Bloodrocuted does a great job. You can truly feel the band's passion through your speakers. The viciously quick tempo continues all the way through the album. Every track is a true moshing track and can fully stand on its own. The band has made the most of the duel guitarists they got, as the lead and rhythm guitars really have their share of limelight in the entire album.
Overall, "Doomed To Annihilation" is a very good debut of a very young, but highly talented band. It is great to see that bands like Bloodrocuted show us with complete conviction that Thrash Metal is still alive and kicking. With polished production and great riffs, this debut record of the Belgian Thrashers is worthy of your time and does bring a new side of Thrash Metal to the table! Thrashers should dig this!!

This compilation contains mostly rare material from the Grindcore/Death Metal band's EPs "Cenotaph" and "Spearhead", as well as two tracks from "Rareache", Earache Records anniversary compilation album (this two tracks was also included on Japanese version of “...For Victory” album).
This CD isn't the place to turn if you're making your first Bolt Thrower purchase - 1991's "War Master" would a better starting point. But then, Earache didn't release this CD with the casual listener in mind. "Who Dares Wins" was obviously aimed at the more seasoned Bolt Thrower fan, who will appreciate such rarities as "Prophet of Hatred", "Crown of Life" and "Destructive Infinity" as well as a blistering live version of "Realm of Chaos" and an extended remix of "Spearhead". In spite of its limitations, "Who Dares Wins" is a CD that the band's die-hard followers will want!
The release coincided with the release of the album "Mercenary", which was Bolt Thrower's first album for Metal Blade Records. The band has hence accused Earache of trying to cash in on the band. Also, the album was originally intended to be titled "No Guts, No Glory"; however, because that is the title of a song on "Mercenary" Earache had to scrap that title. The cover art for this compilation was taken from the "Spearhead" EP.

Debut and only full-length album by the British Melodic Death/Thrash Metal band.
Combination of Groove-infected passages, occasional Thrash melodies and Metalcore breakdowns. An album firmly rooted in the Modern Metal slipstream, it nonetheless packs sufficient aggression, complexity and old-school touches to ensure an audience way beyond mallrats with bad haircuts. Vox are the usual throat lacerating variety, although higher-pitched Trivium-style vocals are adopted for the last two songs. This shift is inexplicable as these songs do not otherwise differ significantly from the preceding eight numbers (with the exception of the instrumental "Solitude" - no relation to the Black Sabbath song).
It should be patently clear that there are many bands indulging in a similar style, but Boltdown's attempt is solid enough to hold its own against many other up and comers!!

Band's first studio album with Phil X on lead guitar, who replaced longtime member Richie Sambora in 2013. It's also the first album where bassist Hugh McDonald officially replaces original bassist Alec John Such, who left the band in 1994.
Musically, this is a throwback - not to the '80s, but to 2005's "Have A Nice Day", which is the first album Bon Jovi recorded with producer John Shanks. The prominence that keyboardist David Bryan (credited as David Rashbaum in the liner notes) gets on this record is an indicator, perhaps, that Bon Jovi had more than a passing interest in the Pop market, which was then dominated by new wave and Synth Pop. Mixing Journey-like '70s Rock ("She Don't Know Me") with shout-along stadium anthems ("Love Lies"), the self-titled Bon Jovi album lay the foundation for the band's career, which reached its apex several years later with that very same combination of Pop melody and arena-sized ambition.

Special Edition release of the eighth full-length album by the legendary American Melodic Hard Rock band.
“Bounce” was heavily influenced by the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, owing in part to Jon Bon Jovi's proximity to New York. The title "Bounce" was a reference to New York City's and the United States' ability to bounce back from the World Trade Center attacks as a nation.
Given that Bon Jovi successfully pulled off a comeback in 2000 with "Crush", a shiny Pop album pitched directly at the mainstream, it's kind of a surprise that they returned two years later with a record as turgid as "Bounce". Instead of continuing the colorful blueprint of "Crush", they fearlessly backpedal, turning out dull, heavy, serious rock - the kind of music that sounds "serious" even when it's about trivial things. Of course, much of the record is given over to "serious" topics, as if the band felt that the events of 2001 necessitated a grave response for "Bounce", regardless of what they were singing. Such sobriety would not have been a problem if the band had solid material, but they're not only lacking songs, they've inexplicably altered their musical approach. In particular, guitarist Richie Sambora sounds as if he's aping James Hetfield's lumbering downstrokes throughout the album, giving the record an oppressively heavy sound that never lets the music breathe. This casts a pall over the record, but this stumble is not the sole reason "Bounce" is such a misstep for the band. “Bounce” was heavily influenced by the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, owing in part to Jon Bon Jovi's proximity to New York. The title "Bounce" was a reference to New York City's and the United States' ability to bounce back from the World Trade Center attacks as a nation.
Given that Bon Jovi successfully pulled off a comeback in 2000 with "Crush", a shiny Pop album pitched directly at the mainstream, it's kind of a surprise that they returned two years later with a record as turgid as "Bounce". Instead of continuing the colorful blueprint of "Crush", they fearlessly backpedal, turning out dull, heavy, serious rock - the kind of music that sounds "serious" even when it's about trivial things. Of course, much of the record is given over to "serious" topics, as if the band felt that the events of 2001 necessitated a grave response for "Bounce", regardless of what they were singing. Such sobriety would not have been a problem if the band had solid material, but they're not only lacking songs, they've inexplicably altered their musical approach. In particular, guitarist Richie Sambora sounds as if he's aping James Hetfield's lumbering downstrokes throughout the album, giving the record an oppressively heavy sound that never lets the music breathe. This casts a pall over the record, but this stumble is not the sole reason "Bounce" is such a misstep for the band.
