The band also used a 30-members choir on the songs "In Blood We Trust" and "Lupus Dei".
"Lupus Dei" is a really good album, and can be strongly recommend to any Metalhead, also if Power Metal is not your preferred style. This is a very good album with a lot of great features, perfect to set up the power mood and release a high level of energy. Prepare to feel as you're headbanging with the wolves, because you will!

Prematory indeed are it and from all aspects gone before but their delivery keeps it fresh and current and that was a complete. Prematory´s Thrash Metal is highly dynamic due to the tempo changes, the powerful backing vocals, and the double bass drum that is used effectively. Debut official EP by American Death/Thrash Metal band.
Mike Usifer (guitar) and Andy Eichhorn (vocal) revive the existing from 1986 Prime Evil. The homonymous song and demo from 1987 date before Venom to use this title, but the seeking of the band from New York is exactly in this direction... The frequent problems with the lineup of the quintet from its reunion in 2010 'till now brought in the band the other guitar player - founder of the band Gary Day.
The three songs EP "Evilution" presents the band as a noisy Venom. Aggressive proto-Black guitars, drum cannonade, deep hoarse voice and a deep bass – these are the distinctive features of the EP. The band is as heavy as a ton of bricks landing right onto your head! Production wise, the sound is crushing. The mix works well with these new songs. It's like it was 1990 again! The riffing is incredible, the bass is pounding and the drumming is perfect. Really, this Evil Thrash Metal sounds that good! More aggressive, noisier and faster than in their old demos the Americans Prime Evil are here again!!

First re-release of the debut full-length album by British Black Metal band.
Primitive Graven Image were formed in 2006 by guitarist brothers Rob 'Ljosalfur' and Luke 'Dokkalfur' Lehane. Nowadays, the band is well known on the London live scene and have a reputation as a solid live band, but they also have some good songs to back this up.
"Traversing The Awesome Night" originally was released in 2007 by Open Grave Records. The album contains a whopping 16 songs of traditional Black Metal, although not every song is of the same standard. There are a few mediocre songs, but also some that stand out.
The first ten tracks are from the "Traversing The Awesome Night" album, which opens magnificently with "Bringer Of Dark And Light", the guitar sound has that tinny, twanging rattle that is so great about and typifies the sound of early Black Metal; reminds of Burzum. The other standout tracks are "None Shall Stand", with its fast intense tempo and crashing cymbals, "Design", which has a fabulous, plodding Black Metal rhythm, "Fear And Fire" - a slow sinister building track, but it's not long before the pace runs away out of control just like a terrifying fire. "Earth's Wrath" opens on a rasping scream that accompanies the plodding rhythms of this dark hypnotic track. You'll like the pumping dirty groove to "Battleride", a head nodder of a track. "The Shriek Of Death" is dark and hypnotic with vocals so intense and grating that they grind your soul to a pulp.
The final six tracks are from the demo "Hellish Figurines".
"The Night Of Dokkalfur And Ljosalfur" - an atmospheric, symphonic instrumental opener named after the band founders. "None Shall Stand" has excellent guitar work as the track opens and before the superb vocals kick in. There is, on this track in particular, a wonderful rawness to the sound and it's awash with crashing cymbals. "Of What We Have Become" has a hollow, echoing edge; a dark, haunting track. "The Journey To The Forest" is not just an ordinary journey into the forest but one filled with horror and terror, this track features twice as it was also on the first album as well as the demo.
The brothers were inspired to create this out of a love for the traditional Black Metal style of bands such as Immortal, Darkthrone and Emperor, as a result it is very much a generic offering of that style of Black Metal and although it is not a standout album it is still very atmospheric and listenable with a nice classic feel!!
Re-release features renewed cover artwork, extensive liner notes and includes band's demo 2006 “Hellish Figurines” as a bonus! This is an excellent opportunity to re-visit the bands earlier material and be a part of Primitive Graven Images’ history and development!!

The debut full-length studio album by Italian Heavy Metal band.
Prodigal Sons plays 80s-based Heavy Metal. During the seven years of existence, they had only released a couple of demo works before. 
Thankfully, the band does not try to focus too much on the epic side of Heavy Metal, like a lot of fellow Italian bands unsuccessfully do the last years. Prodigal Sons smartly put a limit on their US Metal influence and mainly try to focus on straightforward Heavy Metal with galloping rhythms, melodic riffs and lead themes.
The album is not bad at all and successfully stays away from any cheesy Power Metal. It can sound interesting to younger Metal fans, who mainly praise Iron Maiden, Virgin Steele, early Fates Warning, Bling Guardian, Rapsody, etc.
