With lyrics based on the writings of famous fantasy authors such as Howard, Tolkien, Moorcock, & Martin, and cool cover art to boot, much of what you get here on their latest is quite simply crushing dark fantasy themed Doom.
"Hyborian Age" is a serious, crushing Doom album from this very 'un-Italian' sounding band. The whole 'dark fantasy' themes add even more intrigue to what is a very old school styled Doom album. One thing is for sure - this band is totally addictive.

The debut full-length album by Norwegian Black Metal band.
This is a project of musician of bands such as: Mök, Astaroth and Attentat.
“Noema” presents us with an excellent view of Black Metal, very eerie and melodic. But the album isn’t “limited” to Black Metal, there are some Punk and Doom elements which are very welcomed when used with creativity and quality, such is the case of “Noema”. In a way, you might feel that, especially when it comes to the guitars, this is one more pure Norwegian Black Metal album that could have been released by Mayhem or Gorgoroth, but, if you pay attention to the details, this is a unique release and not an album in which the musician simply wanted to recreate the old-school classics.
The drumming work is very enjoyable, fast and chaotic, completely fitting the music created by Kvalvaag. The production is clean, many a little bit lo-fi, but no Black Metal listener would complain about it, so one more positive aspect for Kvalvaag’s “Noema”. All in all, this is highly impressive, even more for being the band’s first full-length album. Amazing stuff!

Poured her heart into this album, she sings the songs that we have long known and loved. But the main thing here is still something else – namely, how these songs are sung and played. And it is done really skilfully, and in such way that one immediately feels – every song has been cherished, pampered as if a beloved child, for which one does not begrudge either the heart or the effort. Everything here is harmonious – the voice so gentle and clear, and the cautious, and thus very appropriate interventions of the orchestra, and even use of the instruments not traditional for such songs.
Fragility is the first impression that arises at the beginning and is there already after the music subsides. And, of course, it is nice that this is singing of a person who lived not in Ukraine but in the U.S. and sang both in English and in Ukrainian.
If you want to show someone the beauty of the Ukrainian song, or how this beauty can be preserved far beyond the Ukrainian land – this Ukrainian Symphonic Folk album will be a good example.

Following the release of her twelfth studio album, "Kiss Me Once", Minogue announced her departure from Parlophone, and her management deal with American label Roc Nation. Minogue signed an exclusive one-album deal with Parlophone to release "Kylie Christmas", with distribution through Warner Music Group worldwide and Warner Bros. Records in the United States. A Christmas music album consisting of thirteen songs and three bonus tracks, Kylie Christmas contains both cover versions and original songs.
Three singles were released from "Kylie Christmas". "Only You" was released as the lead single on 9 November 2015, a duet with British actor and singer, James Corden. "100 Degrees", a duet with Minogue's sister Dannii was promoted on 24 November and a remix of "Every Day's Like Christmas" was released on 2 December 2015. Minogue performed a one-off concert show held at entertainment venue Royal Albert Hall, London, on 11 December to mark the release of the album.
In Australia, midweek expectations had the album inside the top ten. It later debuted at number 7, becoming Minogue's fifteenth top 10 album. In the United Kingdom, the midweek chart placed Kylie Christmas at number six, which would have made it her eleventh studio album to chart inside the top ten. The third full-length studio album by legendary American Glam Metal band.
Released in 1991, the meticulous production gives the album a sound typical of the period - a full sound, with lots of background harmony vocals, layered guitars and additional keyboard tracks.
The album starts in a more somber note with "Over the Edge", which was used in the film Point Break, but the bulk of it consists of standard Hard Rockers, such as "Kiss My Love Goodbye" and "My Koo Ka Choo". The band aims for the ballad hit several times, in "Crystal Eyes", "It's Over Now", and the 1950s-style "I Found You", attempting to repeat the earlier success of their major single "The Ballad of Jayne".
While no track from the album topped the charts (and the band's success declined soon afterwards as their style fell out of commercial favor), "Hollywood Vampires" presents various shades of the band and is representative of the late 1980s - early 1990s Heavy Metal scene, with riff-laden songs and big choruses on every song.
Rare first pressing edition with slightly different track listing. Track 11 is "The Ballad Of Jayne" (a shorter version than the one that appeared on the "Cocked & Loaded" album) instead of the song "I Found You" which appeared on other pressings.

The first re-release of the debut full-length studio album by legendary American Glam Metal band.
Material for the debut L.A. Guns release was drawn from the band's formative years. A ragged collection of outcasts from various other bands (guitarist Tracii Guns was the original "guns" in Guns N' Roses, drummer Steven Riley had recently vacated the stool with Shock-kings W.A.S.P., and British vocalist Phil Lewis had done time with London glamsters Girl), they elevated the unrepentant sleaziness and undeniable tackiness of their environment to a new low. 
It is the only L.A. Guns release to feature drummer Nickey "Beat" Alexander, who was replaced by Steve Riley before it was released. 
L.A. Guns was a minor domestic commercial success. The album spent 33 weeks on the Billboard 200 albums chart, peaking at number 50 in April 1988. It was also certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America in 1993, certifying sales in excess of 500,000 units.
In 2017, Metal Hammer included the album in their list of "The 10 Hair Metal albums you need in your record collection".

Produced by former Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke, "Shrinking Violet" is a harder-edged return to L.A. Guns' roots in Sleazy, crunching Glam Metal a la Kiss and Mötley Crüe.
Every track on this CD is a winner. Seriously, its really good! This is not the raw garage band that L.A. Guns has become known as, but largely sounds like a band trying something new because they have nothing to lose.
The songwriting is actually quite consistent overall; the end result is a surprisingly focused and effective album by a band that appeared all but spent as a creative force. New singer, Jizzy Pearl (ex- Love/Hate), brings a nice raw sound back to the band, as does Clarke's restrained yet muscular production. Gilby Clarke also provided additional guitars on the track "Dreamtime".

Second full-length album by Italian Space Rock/Progressive Metal band.
The Italian outfit La Sfera is a special band. They're a combination of Progressive Rock, Alternative Pop and classic sixties Pop. That’s the best and easiest to describe them. Daniel Pucci has a strong and clear voice, one which will fit in a lot of genres. He’s supported by snarling guitars and Heavy Metal drums with a lot of synths. There’s been twitching around in the music as well, but in a good way. They alter the music by adding something to it, not taking something away. The music is catchy, almost too good to be true, but there’s also this ridiculous side to it. The tracks are diverse and don’t repeat themselves too much. Although they combine a scale of different genres, each song stands on its own.
"Where Man Breaks" is a difficult album to describe, because it’s so wide and special. Try combining "Dust In The Wind" with "Master of Puppets". Does that sound good? Then you might give this album a try! Not your thing? Then you might have an incredibly bad imagination, or this thing just might not be for you.

The seventh full-length studio album by cult American Groove/Metalcore band.
The final Lamb of God album of original material to feature drummer Chris Adler before his departure from the band in July 2019. Also, it's the first album after lead vocalist Randy Blythe's manslaughter case and a brief hiatus after finishing the "Resolution" touring cycle. 
For the past three and a half years, Lamb of God has gone through some fucked up shit. With Randy Blythe being locked-up and accused for murdering a fan some years ago, most fans probably thought that was the end for Lamb Of God in 2012. Three years after Randy's ultimately brief incarceration and freeing, band are back with probably their most anticipated album ever. Fans waited a long time for this album to hit the shelves, just to hear the result of the band's recent struggles. On top of it, their last album, "Resolution", was a bit mediocre, so this album also had to prove that Lamb still is in the game.
The production job is clean and heavy. The band's now long-time producer Josh Wilbur once again handled this album, and you will be satisfied with his work. This album is certainly not as over-produced as "Ashes Of The Wake" or "Sacrament" were (both of them were produced by Machine), but it's cleaner than "Wrath" and better mastered than "Resolution", which had some annoying digital clipping.
The band really brings out the best of themselves this time around, both playing-wise and in writing/arrangements. This album is ultimately a very strong effort that feels like an actual band product, rather than a cocktail with a bit of everyone here and there, like the previous album.
The album was included at number 20 on Rock Sound's top 50 releases of 2015 list, while MetalSucks voted it the best Metal album of 2015. Also, it was honored with a 2015 Metal Storm Award for Best Thrash Metal Album. “VII: Sturm Und Drang” has sold over 100,000 copies in America.
Lamb Of God has really topped itself this time, and "Sturm Und Drang" really is one of their finest efforts!

Lance King is world renowned in the Underground as “The Voice” in Metal, singing on over 25 worldwide releases over the last 21 years. Known best for his voice on five albums with Pyramaze and Balance Of Power, what is truly special about Lance is his ability to morph his voice to fit any mood and intensity of a song, he’s proved this over the years by adding a very "special something" to every album he has been a part of. Said to have the golden touch, Lance’s voice just seems to connect the dot’s making head banging Metal also into a good song.
On the last day of June, 2011 Lance decided to invite some of his musical friends to co-write songs with him as he ventured into his first solo album. An act of faith only knowing their work, never working with them before creating music. In just two months, those involved had created an epic masterpiece and in under three “A Moment In Chiros” was mixed and mastered and off to the presses! This album was meant to be out by 11/11/11 Nightmare Records, and own label of Lance King, and is destined to stand the test of time.
The album's concept is based on the 11:11 time prompt phenomena happening to over 75 million people around the world, Lance is one of these people, and has dived in deep to find more about what it’s all about. This album is one man's journey as a seeker of truth looking for answers to the world's greatest mysteries.

The music is perfectly composed just as a great movie soundtrack. The lyrics and vocal form of King fits great and provides each song just what it needs to take it to the top. Production wise the record sounds amazing!

Remastered re-release of the debut full-length album by American Progressive Groove Metal band.
The re-release of Last Crack's 1989 debut shows the completely raw energy of what was to come of this great, but seldom heard of Mid-Western band. Recorded at Prince's famed studio, Paisley Park in Minneapolis, Last Crack were able to make their Heavy Rock, Groove laden, tongue in cheek humor into a reality. "Funkhouse" is first of all a very fun and loose record. Singer, only known as Buddo, makes sure of that. One of the claims to fame for Last Crack was the album cover art for this debut. Back in 1989 this cover was very controversial. A fully naked Buddo in somewhat of an archery type of pose, did serve them well and caused a buzz for the band.
As silly and fun as Buddo is with his John Bush (Armored Saint/Anthrax) with a bit of Phil Lewis (Girl/L.A. Guns) themed vocals, guitar duo Don Bakken and Paul Schluter, play their guitar wizard roles as serious as a heart attack, filling this record with great solos and rifferage throughout. While the rhythm section of drummer Phil Buerstatte and bassist Todd Winger set the table for Last Crack's often intricate and Groove filled Metal.
Last Crack obviously had a good sense of humor to go along with their musical chops. Song titles like "Gush Volcano Crush" and "Blood Brothers of the Big Black Bear" are not used if you can't back them up. And while cutting their teeth on this first major release, songs like "Slicing Steel", "Terse" and the downright Funky "Saraboyscage" all show how diverse and menacing they are capable of being.
While recorded at a world class studio like Paisley Park, the production of this debut sounds just that, a debut. Very under produced, probably because they weren't given much of a budget to record with. Remember this was 1989 and not like today with the "Pro Tools" generation of making a million seller CD in your bathroom.
Last Crack is a band to check out. The songs on this debut don't sound dated, but the production does. So listen with an open mind. The talent is there. If you like bands like King's X, Mindfunk, Icon and Armored Saint then you should dig Last Crack!!
