Veterans of Chicago’s Rock n’ Roll, Bible Of The Devil had released their seventh full-length and third for Rome based label Cruz Del Sur Music.
Entitled “For The Love Of Thugs And Fools”, Bible Of The Devil’s eagerly anticipated follow-up to their 2008 release,"Freedom Metal”, is an assembly of raging Rock n’ Roll songs that encapsulate the band’s saga musically and personally over the years since the last full-length.
Returning to Phantom Manor studios in Chicago, the band sought to emphasize their trademark bludgeoning two-guitar attack and mammoth hooks with an increased attention to soaring, anthemic vocals.
These guys embody the spirit of early Hard Rock/Proto Metal, specifically Thin Lizzy with a pinch of early NWOBHM. They can shred dual-guitar harmonies and sing about Rock n’ Roll without a shred of irony, though they’re obviously having fun doing it. “For The Love Of Thugs And Fools” is viewed by the band as a document of the many characters they have encountered through the life of the band, whether it be in love, loss, friendship, or hatred. Guitar harmonies casually weave in and out of songs, and gigantic choruses are delivered like a karaoke night that got way out of hand.
This album could’ve been released in 1979 and no one would f*****g blink, except maybe a few tracks that could’ve come out in 1983. You will be singing these songs in your car while fist-pounding the steering wheel. You will find yourself air-guitaring them at inappropriate moments in your life, such as your aunt’s funeral. You will have the chorus to “I Know What Is Right (In The Night)” stuck in your head when you go to take a leak. These songs are packed with enough catchy hooks and riffs to overcome the weak production and questionable singing, so if you enjoy old-school Rock music of high quality, this band and this album might be the thing for you!

Big Bang Babies was a Sleaze Glam Metal band from Hollywood, California, playing during the 1990s. Their sound incorporated Rock, bubblegum Pop and Glam, with a Punky attitude.
The band was originally made up of singer Kit Ashley, guitarist Keri Kelli, bassist Tweety Boyd, and drummer Freddie Ferrin. Freddie Ferrin was replaced by drummer Keith Morgan (aka Keith Alan).
All five members later went on to play in other bands, most notably Keri Kelli, who has played with Alice Cooper, Ratt, Skid Row, Warrant, Poison, and Slash's Snakepit, among others.
This compilation has been re-mixed by Mike Slamer (Steelhouse Lane, Streets, City Boy) and you can find 11 lovely Power Pop/Glam Rock anthems with influences from bands such as Cheap Trick, Poison, Enuff Z´Nuff, PBF, etc. + you´ll get a fun version of the old x-mas smasher: “Winter Wonderland”. Fans of Pretty Boy Floyd might also recognize the song "Everybody Needs A Hero" as they later re-recorded the smash hit, here you can find the original version and it´s a great Glam rocker with a catchy chorus.

Band emerged in November 2008 from the ashes of Fatal Portrait. After many conversations, three of the original founders of Fatal Portrait (Varhken, Phallux and Orgen) developed a new Black Metal project. While the new project was coming into shape, the guys got in touch with Pulsarth (from Noesis, a band where Phallux and Varhken also play) and asked him to be in charge of the bass.
In January 2009, the line up was completed with Abathor (from Gathering Darkness and Detriment Sorrow) as second guitarist. It was then when the composition works started; ten different songs were developed but only seven of them were finally recorded in Novermber at Khazad-Dûm studios, where the owner, Erun-Dagoth (Briargh, Hrizg, ex-CrystalMoors, Eldereon, Moonshine) produced the material, recorded, mixed and mastered all the songs that presented on the album.

The Finnish foursome plays their brand of music hard and heavy focusing on the power of the riff and an aggressive vocal style from vocalist Jason.
The nine songs here are rather angry. The music of this band is melodic and full of energy, staying far from those Stoner bands that uses a dusty and raw sound quality. Some parts sound modern and abrasive, but they have also some more melodic and musically accessible parts. Here everything is clear, with very good musical arrangements, and their musical influences are not locked in the past. Very good musical arrangements and the vocals are very good, using a fine diversity of tunes; the guitars are doing an excellent work on the riffs, the rhythmic kitchen is doing a fine job, guiding the tempos and giving the band a good musical range, and this all is fused to create a fine kind of music. The band creates a riff factory of guitar lines and ensure that Pete’s Bass and Mikko’s drums are straight in your face. With simplistic song structures and the focus placed heavily on the groove, Black .44 does a nice job bringing their anger out into each track. Jason’s vocals are far from perfect, but work very effectively on No Blanks.
The sound quality they got is very, very good. Their music sound clean and heavy in the due proportions, creating something that sound aggressive and full of energy, but with clearness to understand what the band is playing.
Songs like “The Red Saint” and “The Outlaw” are ass-kickers with infectious riff work and can be compared to a more modern Metallica at least as far as the guitar licks go. The comparisons stop there though. The energetic and powerful "Overcome" (with some modern touches and very good use of vocal tunes' variations), the almost commercial song "Into The Grace", and the slow and bitter "Born Wrong" can be said as their best moments, besides the album is entirely very good.
Overall, "No Blanks" is a great debut from a band up North. This band has a future!

Black Phantom is a melodic Metal band formed in 2014 by bassist Andrea Tito. He started while his former band, Mesmerize, went on hiatus. With this time and resolve, he and his formed group produced their first album, “Better Beware”. Now, debuting their sophomore album, it’s a high-octane Metal act that should satisfy fans of traditional Thrash and early Power Metal.
"Zero Hour Is Now" is a really spirited, lively album made in the NWBHM style of Iron Maiden. Black Phantom is a band that is more than capable of this type of music and displays it well on this album.
These are one of those bands that has their own distinct song style. However, that’s not necessarily as bad thing, as they’re a talented band. Vocally, the operatic clarity and are on point, as are the instrumentals. The clarity of the vocals and the range of the melody are impressive. The guitar solos are all complex with intricate melodies that showcase true talent.
If you’re a fan of Billy Talent, Avenged Sevenfold or Iron Maiden, this is definitely a band you should check out! However, if you’re not a fan of same-sounding songs, still check it out!!

The nineteenth full-length studio album by the legendary British Heavy Metal band.
The album was released on 10 June in Europe and 11 June in North America, via Vertigo Records and Republic Records in the US, and via Vertigo Records worldwide. It is the first studio album released by Black Sabbath since “Forbidden” (1995), and their first studio recording with original singer Ozzy Osbourne and bassist Geezer Butler since the live album “Reunion” (1998), which contained two new studio tracks. It is also the first studio album with Osbourne since “Never Say Die!” (1978), and with Butler since “Cross Purposes” (1994).
The original lineup of Black Sabbath first began work on a new studio album in 2001 with producer Rick Rubin. The album's development was delayed because Osbourne was in the middle of finishing his eighth solo album “Down to Earth”, and the rest of the band members eventually went on to pursue other projects, including GZR and Heaven & Hell. When Black Sabbath announced their reunion on 11 November 2011, the band announced that they would restart work on a new album with Rubin. In addition to original members Osbourne, Butler and guitarist Tony Iommi, they were joined at the recording sessions by drummer Brad Wilk, of Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, following original drummer Bill Ward's decision to not participate in the reunion, due to a "contractual dispute".
For the cover artwork for was created an 8-foot-tall "13" from wicker, which was then set on fire in the Buckinghamshire countryside. The flames were visible for miles. The image was shot for album's cover.
Album reached No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart after its first week of sales. It is the band's first album to top the UK chart since “Paranoid” (1970). Osbourne was said to be "in shock" at the album's success, remarking that the band has "never had a record climb the charts so fast" before. The album also reached No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 charts, selling over 155,000 copies in the first week. Osbourne said, "There have been so many amazing highlights in our long career. To finally have our first #1 album in the U.S. is another incredible milestone for Black Sabbath." In its second week of release, the album fell to No. 5 in the US, selling 46,000, totaling 201,000 copies, and in its third week, 13 sold over 26,000 bringing its total sales to 227,000 copies in the US. The album also debuted at No. 1 on the Canadian Albums Chart with 25,000 units sold.

The album was originally released by S.B.M. Records in 2006. In 2015 it was completely re-mixed and released by More Hate Production.
CD presents finally developed distinctive style of the band – evil guitar-based Technical Black Metal. The voice of Lord Demogorgon was put on top in order to make clear the significant part of Black Shadow – extreme lyrics in Russian. In general, the album sounds as one piece rather than a compilation of songs – it’s a solid alloy of anger, hatred and speed. Headbanging riffs and blast-beats alternate with slow heavy inserts, guitar melodies and melodic solos.
Great sound of the album and improved the quality of the material.
Advised to all fans of Black Metal, regardless of personal preferences! This album of Black Shadow is melodic, angry, technically and interesting!!

Black Shadow is a long-running Russian Black Metal duo featuring Lord Demogorgon (on vocals, bass and guitar) and Asmodeus (on guitar).
Release includes four studio tracks recorded back in 2002 and four bonus live tracks taken from the Moscow show (November 18, 2004). It was originally released by SBM Records in limited quantity to 100 copies and became rare.
In May of 2015, all album tracks were re-mixed and the completely new artwork was made. The new sound is clearer and thicker.
Musical material presented on the album is fast and technical Melodic Black Metal in the vein of such Swedish icons like Setherial and Dark Funeral with distinctive Russian lyrics by Lord Demogorgon.
Black Shadow is at home with hyper-speed blasting stuff, not giving much mercy to the listeners while letting the band invade your speakers. All the studio stuff sounds really good, but the same cannot be said about the bonus live tracks. Those sound really raw and extremely unpolished.

Formed in 2009 with the intention of playing an old school Metal, band presents ferocious evil Black/Speed Metal, raging in their lyrics all hate to the false morality, Christianity and life’s torments. This first album featured a good recording. The sound of the band is highly competent. A Speed Metal furious, fast, but without ceasing to be heavy. Fabricio Ripper's vocals are quite intelligible, and the songs presented in this work are all sung in Portuguese. Finally, an album showed maturity, even though the band very young. And it is hard not to get excited about bangers like "The Ripper", "Total Destruction" or "Attack". It put the sound to roll, increase in stem and headbanging nonstop!!

Formed in early 2011, these guys rapidly made a name for themselves in Spain and released their first 3-track EP “Devious Insane” a year later which received great reviews and acclaim. In 2014 they’re back with their brand new 4-track EP.
“World Of Lies” is just under 20 minutes in length and sounds like your typical new age of Thrash album, which is not a bad thing. Blast Off do have potential to make it big here as some of the music that comes out of this album is very good indeed, it just lacks a little in originality.
All in all, “World Of Lies” is a damn good release and tops its predecessor of 2012. Blast Off hold a lot of potential with their music!
