Who said CD artwork is dead? Don’t tell Cage mainman Sean Peck, as this brightly colored, comic book styled lyric sheet and cover (depicting Odin, the Grim Reaper and Satan watching over a Cage concert) is the antithesis of the digital download age. Hats off to artist Marco Sasso, who has worked for Marvel Comics. Then there’s the music, a non-stop eardrum pummeling of aggressive, twin guitars and Peck squealing, belching and King Diamond imitating his way through a dozen numbers that most definitely would incite cardiac arrest, should the San Diego outfit get the brilliant idea of ever performing this album in its entirety!
The guitar wall is incredible. Sean Peck goes all-out here, and guitarists Dave Garcia and Steve Brogden riff and shred away like there’s no tomorrow.
Unlike the great “Hell Destroyer”, “Supremacy Of Steel” is not a concept album but rather a loose collection of fist-banging Heavy/Power Metal tunes with that ever-present Thrashy vibe thrown in. As always, the lyrics touch on a wide range of topics: some fictional, others historical, like US Civil War and a paean to WWII aircraft. On the other hand, is simply in praise of the music we all love.
If you have a couple of faded Maiden, Priest, Dio and Metal Church shirts in your closet you should go grab this one right away! This is simply Metal, the balls-to-the-wall type that has the Priest’s “Painkiller” coursing relentlessly through every vein.
With "Supremacy Of Steel" we have a new masterwork in Metal with killer riffs, killer drums, killer vocals still keeping the style of the band alive but sounding different from album to album!! Hail and Kill!!!
Track 12 "Skinned Alive" is the European bonus track.
On the back cover of the CD is given as 2012 production year, although it was published on 25.11.2011 in Germany.

Band perform the right kind of Death Metal. Short but brutal, it stacks up as a roller coaster ride of metal, taking listeners between fast and slow passages made by mixing churning guitar chugs and extreme grindcore-esque drumming all topped with deep growls that are clear enough not to distort everything else, and vice versa. There even is a bit of solo bass work in the middle to build up the suspense before everything explodes again. The slow, crawling pace sounds like a butchering soundtrack and the added in scream samples really set the dark mood of violence altogether.

The first so-called "White Metal" band in Brazil with their back to 1993’s album!
Can anyone really think of an 80's, real Doom Metal band from South America? Calvario were not real Doom nor 80's, but they were as close as you'd get. Band's dark and obscure Metal sound so typically Italian. Fans of The Black, Paul Chain's Violet Theatre, Run After To, Dark Ages and the likes should really take a peek across the Atlantic, above the '89-horizon and check this one out.
Already with "Tola Odisséia" we are thrown into a Dark Quarterer/Omega (UK)-like maelstrom of Black Sludge. The quick jump to more generic Heavy Metal and then a seedy ballad on the tracks to come saves you from completely losing your breath. It's not too far away from Black Hole's bleaker moments. The instrumental title track shred! Suddenly they're a galloping, melodic Epic Metal band! ...And then more Doom follows in "Pacto", this time more straight-forward and pounding. "Passporte Ao Paraíso" starts out as an aucusting, medieval 'ballad' that half-way into the song turns into yet another soaring Doom-Rocker. Ending with the heavy, epic headbanger "Tempos De Justica", Calvario prove themselves to be one of Brazil's best hidden secrets.

The first Cannibal Corpse album to feature former Nevermore guitarist Pat O'Brien, and the second album to include George Fisher on vocal.
Cannibal Corpse settled into their own gruesome groove early on in their career, spitting out a predictable set of carnage-obsessed trash-rockers on each of their albums. Consequently, their albums can be a little interchangeable, and "Gallery Of Suicide" is no different.
From the titles ("Disposal of the Body", "Blood Drenched Execution", "Dismembered and Molested", "Stabbed in the Throat", "Centuries of Torment", "Crushing the Despised", "I Will Kill You") to the incessant, buzzing guitars, it's Cannibal Corpse as the fans have come to expect them! It's a little fresher than its predecessor, "Vile", but it does have the problem of sounding a little monotonous in comparison to their entire catalog. That may not matter to the hardcore fans, who will inevitably be able to spot subtle differences between this and their previous albums, but it does suggest that the band will need to find a new modus operandi soon in order to keep things fresh.
In other way, "Gallery Of Suicide" is a refreshing blend of Technicality and Death Metal savagery. Although easy to underestimate, it is certain to reveal its uncompromising strength with a little time and patience. A solid addition to the band's discography, it may alienate many but it will surely attract and secure an entirely new breed of 'Corpse fanatics!

Cannibal Corpse have received a lot of attention and controversy over the years for their song titles alone. Most impressively, the album remains interesting from front to back, thanks to concise song lengths and a healthy variety of tempos, which alternate from rat-tat-tat machine gun-style onslaughts to chugging mid-tempo mosh sections (check out "Dormant Bodies Bursting" to hear it all in one song). Fans won't be disappointed with numbers like "Hatchet to the Head", "Compelled to Lacerate", and the exquisite "Sanded Faceless". This is great stuff!
Banned in Australia, New Zealand and Korea, this album is brutal, fast as hell, aggressive and intense!! This is easily one of Cannibal's best, and it's genuinely recommended as a starting point when looking to get into the Corpsegrinder era of the band!!!

Band was formed in 2002 by Glauber Oliveira – virtuous guitar player from Brazil. This was a studio project in the beginning that had participation of a couple musicians. After the first demos recordings (2002-2004), the line-up was completed. In September 2006 Caravellus was signed by Erpland Records and released their first album in March 2007. The musical concept of walking in the footsteps of great and virtuos bands like Symphony X, Dream Theater and Angra formed the band and helped them to become known in Japan. With an inspiring mix of Progressive Power Metal sound layered with Classical and Folk influences, Caravellus has brought along the right tools to create originality and adroitness, audacity and quality.

Cardiac Noose was born out of the ashes of the New York Doom act Lost Breed, a band that had Wino from Saint Vitus on t he vocals until they signed to the defunct Hellhound Records in the 90s. Two of the members in Cardiac Noose, Eric Baestlein and John Rapp, has not only played with Lost Breed, but also the New York 80s Heavy/Speed Metal band Blind Legion. When Lost Breed disbanded in the late 90s (with an unreleased album under their belt), they called themselves Vengeance Brothers for a short time before changing name to Cardiac Noose. Two private pressed self-released albums was released, "Bled To The Bone" (2007) and "Get Back Home" (2009), before it got rather quiet around the band. Then, in 2013, the band returned with their third release, "Girl Named Misery".
This album is a step forward in songwriting, and it's an album that not only should please the old Lost Breed and Blind Legion fans, but any fan who wants their Rock honest and really heavy. "Girl Named Misery" features twelve great songs of whiskey-drenched Southern Metal, with the classic Hard Rock academy of the 70s in the back. Think Lynyrd Skynyrd and UFO, through an Alabama Thunderpussy filter, and you might get the picture!

Brazilian Black Metal vs Japanese Black/Thrash Metal vs South Korean Pagan Black Metal vs Italian Black Metal.
Brazilian Black Metal band Catacumba pays four songs here. As the band describes: unmetaphysical Terrorism against the Homo Sapiens existence. Here is the temple of bones, no gods remains here. The entity known by the mortals as Catacumba intents to absorb the human despair via terrorism attempts, through its brotherhood’s Metal Musick, and inspired by the greatest names of this style, being them awaken or not. Here we are presented with several Black/Death Meal takes, some of them atmospheric, others raw, crude and evil. Their music oozes pure hatred and brutality, with fast drumming, exceptional riffs, and vocals that sounds like they’re simply vomiting pure darkness.
Almighty cult Japanese band Abigail also contributes with four songs, two of them live versions. We are presented with the band’s amazing Black/Thrash Metal, crazy and thrilling riffs, their music is really exciting. And Yasuyuki Suzuki’s unique vocals add more “charm” to this band; it sounds like the guy doesn’t care about what you think concerning his lyrics, his insane vocals, album covers. And it’s simply devastating to see so many Japanese Metal bands touring around the world and selling loads of albums just because they “look cool” when for bands like Abigail and Sabbat this is way more difficult. You’ll headbang and mosh even by yourself!
Next a surprise is a South Korean band that is really the one man Pagan Black Metal project Taekaury and it's contributes with three songs. This musician is really the old martial arts way and has anti-Christian and anti-racist views. His music is utterly fast, raw, powerful and heavy. The guitars sound like visions of a distorted mind and the vocals are incredible shrieks. The music is brutal and has this noisy feel, but it can also feel atmospheric. An outstanding work!
And last, but not least, The True Endless, an Italian Black Metal band that hails from the paradise region of the Piedmont. In their words, The True Endless plays Black Metal exclusively! Lyrics are about war, death destruction, suffering and plagues, no political bullshits! The band was created in the winter of 1997 by M. and Soulfucker. Their goal was to create violent and trendkiller music. They have an old-school, mid-tempo to up-tempo Black Metal, sounding very organic, heavy and genuine, but there are also atmospheric passages. The music also sounds very cold and mysterious, occult and they managed to do this without all those effects that some bands overuse and don’t come close to their enigmatic sound.
Very enjoyable and interesting CD and it’s recommended for all fans of real Black Metal!!

They are back with their new masterpiece of Brutality!
Cephalic Impurity plays leans more on the technical end of the spectrum. It sounds similar to bands like Severed Savior. The drums mainly play a lot of mid-paced rhythms that feature a great deal of complexity. They often feature the rapid drilling of double bass and the intense clattering of cymbals. However, they still manage to throw in plenty of powerful blast beats. The bass is quite prominent in the mix and offers up plenty of rattling riffs that help to add a thicker texture to the music. The vocals consist of a deep yet hoarse growl that again reminds of Severed Savior. They put on a nice performance and fit well with the technical nature of the music. As for the guitars, they play a lot of great complex riffs. Unlike most other technical bands, they have no interest in being flashy or showing off how skilled they are. They're only interested in offering up good riffs. They spend equal time playing rapid tremolo riffs and stomping mid-paced riffs that pack a lot of groove. They also play a lot of elaborate hooks as well as a few pinch harmonics.
Overall, "Eulogium For Incessancy" is a great Brutal Technical Death Metal album in the vein of Severed Savior. Very heavy, very brutal, very diabolical and technical stuff!!

Cerebrium was formed by Morok (Bog-Morok, Morguenstern, Shexna, Downgrade, ex- Vo Skorbyakh) in November 2014, along with his friend Denis Grin (drums). What Cerebrium basically represents is a pretty stretched mishmash of different styles incorporated into their debut album.
Misanthropic, depressive and experimental post-Black/Dark Metal perhaps would not even be an appropriate enough description for this stuff, but it surely comes close. “When I Am Dead” draws listeners into the depth of bleak and dismal Depressive Dark Metal from the very beginning and awakes not always pleasant feelings and memories – terror, death anxiety, various phobias, hysterias and mental disorders.
Music set to the most tenebrous and sorrowful lyrics about death and futility of life written by classics of foreign poetry – Thomas Hardy, Christina Rossetti, Robert Herrick, Wilfred Owen and others – is a high quality performed and recorded combination of hysteric intense Black Metal and melancholic suicidal Metal in keeping with the best traditions of such masters of the genre as Bethlehem.
Black Metal screaming vocals prevail on the album; however, the vocalist Morok is not a stranger to clean singing. Besides, the album features extreme female guest vocals performed by Morgana – the front-woman of a horror-gothic band Morguenstern. Her unique voice made the atmosphere of the album even more oppressive and morbid.
Strange and scary monochromatic artwork of the booklet contributes to the image of this original, authentic and potent material.
"When I Am Dead" is a solid album. Just give it a chance!
