Re-release of the second full-length studio album by legendary American Thrash Metal band.
The band's previous release, debut album “Show No Mercy”, became Metal Blade Records' highest selling release. As a result, producer Brian Slagel desired to release a second Slayer album. To that end, Slagel financed a recording budget (“Show No Mercy” was paid for by band members) and recruited several experienced producers to help in the studio.
Lyrical themes on “Hell Awaits” are darker than on “Show No Mercy”. The intro of the first track "Hell Awaits" played backwards reveals the repeated phrase "join us".
Musically, the album features the band's most progressive and diverse work compared to their previous releases. Defined as “influential to future Extreme Metal acts”, the most popular songs from “Hell Awaits” were re-recorded by various underground Metal bands and have appeared on several tribute albums.

The fifth official re-release of the third full-length studio album by legendary American Thrash Metal band.
Released on October 7, 1986, this album is the debut of the band on major label Def Jam Recordings. After releasing the album, Slayer led the musical movement of the American Thrash Metal.
The album was very well received by critics and fans, and considered as the best achievement of the band and one of the best of Thrash Metal albums in general. Among other, it is recognized as "Thrash Metal classic" by Classic Rock Magazine and "the heaviest album of all time" by Kerrang! Magazine.
Despite the fact that the album practically did not receive radio broadcasts, it became the first Slayer’s release which got 94th position on Billboard 200 Chart. On November 20, 1992 "Reign in Blood" became Golden status for the classification of RIAA.

Album includes "Piano Wire", an unfinished song from the "World Painted Blood" sessions written by Jeff Hanneman.
In 2013, the world mourned the loss of guitarist Jeff Hanneman who died from complications following a two-year illness. A co-founder of Slayer, losing Jeff was very difficult for the band. During Jeff’s illness, friend of the band, guitarist Holt stepped in to help out on tour with Jeff’s blessing and stayed on. Around that time, drummer Dave Lombardo exited the band for the third time and Paul Bostaph, (who played with the band from 1992-2001), returned to take over the throne. Slayer never skipped a beat and since Holt and Bostaph both played in Exodus, it was all-in-the-Thrash-family. 
"Repentless" is the band’s first new album in six years, continues the Slaytanic offensive with a twelve-song, blood-shaking sonic attack. It's dark, fast, aggressive and without mercy. It was also the most challenging record Slayer has ever had to make.

The first official re-release of the seventh full-length studio album by legendary American Thrash Metal band.
This album is a compilation of cover songs on various Punk Rock bands, plus three original songs. Jeff Hanneman has used two songs (in the style of Punk) which he wrote in 1984 and 1985 for a stillborn side project Pap Smear, while Kerry King and Tom Araya wrote the only one original track called "Gemini".
Given Slayer's Huntington Beach, CA, homeland, the Hardcore roots are plain enough. But HB is also a big Metal town, and these cats as youngsters were exposed to everything from Motörhead to Black Sabbath and the early L.A. Metal scene. True to their course, however, they've never sounded like anyone but themselves. Even on a collection of covers (with a pair of originals thrown in to boot), the Slayer imprint is unmistakable, and while taking a breather from fresh ideas on their own projects, this disc sounds like the band members were having a blast if not exactly breaking new ground.
"Undisputed Attitude" climbed to 34th position on the Billboard 200.

The eighth full-length studio album by legendary American Nu Metal band.
The band's final album released through Roadrunner, with whom the band signed with in 1998. The album dedicated to co-founder and former drummer Joey Jordison, who died in his sleep in July 2021. At a length of 57 minutes and 31 seconds, "The End, So Far" is the band's shortest studio album to date.
"The End, So Far" debuted within the top ten in over ten countries worldwide, including peaks at the summit in several countries including Australia, Germany, Greece, Mexico, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. In the United States, the album debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200, the first album of theirs not to debut at the summit since 2004's "Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)" while selling 59000 copies in the first week with 50500 coming from pure sales. In the UK, the album outsold the reissue of George Michael's "Older" by 340 units after trailing to it in the midweek chart update, claiming the band its third number-one on the UK Albums Chart following 2001's "Iowa" and 2019's predecessor "We Are Not Your Kind". It sold a total of 14068 copies, 12083 of which came from pure sales while also collecting an additional 2005 album-equivalent units from streaming.
Due to miscommunication, the first press of vinyl and cassette versions are mistakenly titled "The End For Now..." instead of The End, So Far. Some copies received a sticker with the correct album name. Furthermore, track 2 is titled "Dying Song" instead of "The Dying Song (Time To Sing)" and track 5 is titled "Hivemind" instead of "Hive Mind".

The band has continued to amalgamate haunting melodies, Psychedelic phases, as well as strong undercurrents of Classic Rock and Hard Rock with echoes of their Metal past.
Yet Sólstafir's focus is not on style but pure emotion. "Berdreyminn" is eclectic by a conscious choice to make feelings audible and transform taste as well as texture to sound. Genre borders are not broken, but simply ignored. Musical influences are gathered from a wide range of sources, re-arranged, and woven into new patterns.

The fifth full-length studio album by Swedish Alternative Rock/Metalcore band.
It is the first album by the band to not feature former members Richard and Roger Sjunnesson. The album features guest appearance from Björn "Speed" Strid of Soilwork on the track "Before You Finally Break", marking as the first time the band has collaborated with another artist on a studio album. It's also the final album to feature long-time bassist Karin Axelsson.
"Day of the Dead" opens the album with a strong combination of MeloDeath and Metalcore, a la In Flames/Soilwork; an appealing display of heavy, yet melodic riffs and a blistering vocal delivery by Nathan, who now handles both clean and coarse vocals in the band. Richard's iconic screams may no longer be present, but Nathan does not disappoint, with gravitational low-end growls. Contrastingly, his cleans are powerful and anthemic, with songs further down the track list with much more imaginative chorus lyrics to display this. "Black Hole Halo" is one such track. It is a remarkably strong piece that is representative of the band's new-found aggression and focus on riff-orientated music; additionally, the vocals are absolutely stellar, with a catchy chorus that will surely resonate.
"Before you Finally Break" is the album's crowning glory. It is easily one of the heaviest tracks the band has ever written, with a remarkable melding of speed and aggression with compounding grooves. The centerpiece of this track, however, is the inclusion of guest vocalist Bjorn "Speed" Strid of Soilwork, who offers up both clean and coarse vocals. He and Nathan share an incredibly synergy on this track, delivering an intense and emotional chorus together.
"The Flame that Changed the World" is a surprisingly mature track, with a strong and meaningful synthesizer presence, that add a convincing 'Sci-Fi' atmosphere. Retain a strong In Flames influence in the riffs, the chorus is one of the best found on the album.
Sonic Syndicate have put together an excellent album that tries to meld aggression and melody without too much outside modern- trend influences.
This album sees the band pay homage to their roots while looking forward to the future. Sweden-Metal-lovers get their money’s worth with some more brilliant songs by Sonic Syndicate!
