The fifth full-length studio album by Swedish Alternative Rock/Metalcore band.
It is the first album by the band to not feature former members Richard and Roger Sjunnesson. The album features guest appearance from Björn "Speed" Strid of Soilwork on the track "Before You Finally Break", marking as the first time the band has collaborated with another artist on a studio album. It's also the final album to feature long-time bassist Karin Axelsson.
"Day of the Dead" opens the album with a strong combination of MeloDeath and Metalcore, a la In Flames/Soilwork; an appealing display of heavy, yet melodic riffs and a blistering vocal delivery by Nathan, who now handles both clean and coarse vocals in the band. Richard's iconic screams may no longer be present, but Nathan does not disappoint, with gravitational low-end growls. Contrastingly, his cleans are powerful and anthemic, with songs further down the track list with much more imaginative chorus lyrics to display this. "Black Hole Halo" is one such track. It is a remarkably strong piece that is representative of the band's new-found aggression and focus on riff-orientated music; additionally, the vocals are absolutely stellar, with a catchy chorus that will surely resonate.
"Before you Finally Break" is the album's crowning glory. It is easily one of the heaviest tracks the band has ever written, with a remarkable melding of speed and aggression with compounding grooves. The centerpiece of this track, however, is the inclusion of guest vocalist Bjorn "Speed" Strid of Soilwork, who offers up both clean and coarse vocals. He and Nathan share an incredibly synergy on this track, delivering an intense and emotional chorus together.
"The Flame that Changed the World" is a surprisingly mature track, with a strong and meaningful synthesizer presence, that add a convincing 'Sci-Fi' atmosphere. Retain a strong In Flames influence in the riffs, the chorus is one of the best found on the album.
Sonic Syndicate have put together an excellent album that tries to meld aggression and melody without too much outside modern- trend influences.
This album sees the band pay homage to their roots while looking forward to the future. Sweden-Metal-lovers get their money’s worth with some more brilliant songs by Sonic Syndicate!

The debut full-length studio album by Princess Stéphanie Marie Elisabeth of Monaco.
The album was released in September 1986, incorporating Dance-Pop, Synth-Pop, Dance and Pop music.  In some countries, it was released as "Live Your Life", or simply "Stephanie". All versions include the same 9 core tracks, but track sequence varies and different combinations of French/English versions are included. CD's also include remixes. Later CD re-releases were retitled ("L'Album D'Or", "Rendez-Vous", "Irresistible", "Ouragan", "Dance With Me") but include the same tracks as the original 1986 CD's.
"Besoin" reached number six at the French Albums Chart and the Swedish Albums Chart, number twelve at the German Albums Chart, and number 59 at the Austrian Albums Chart. It reportedly sold in approximately 1.5 million units, and achieved Gold status in France for over 100 000 units.
Despite the success of "Besoin", Stéphanie did not make a follow-up for five years until the release of the second album, "Stephanie", in 1991.

The second Single from the debut full-length studio album, "Besoin", by Princess Stéphanie Marie Elisabeth of Monaco.
After the success of her number one debut single "Ouragan" in the second quarter of 1986, Stéphanie decided to continue her musical career releasing an album, "Besoin", which met with success on the French Albums Chart, as it reached number six and was certified Gold. She then followed up "Ouragan" with a second Single, "Flash" (or "One Love To Give" - depends on version), which was eagerly awaiting by the public, who wanted to see whether the princess would be able to duplicate her first success.
The Single was released in both, French ("Flash") and English ("One Love To Give") versions. This release includes both versions, and "Le Sega Mauricien" song on the B-side. The "One Love To Give" song is a Remix Version on this release.
The Single was a top five hit in several European countries. "Flash" was certified Silver by the Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique for at least 250,000 units. The English version, "One Love To Give", had a great success in Sweden, where it debuted at number nine in the late December 1986 and topped the chart for one month. It was also a top three hit in Finland, and peaked at number ten in Germany.

Princess Stéphanie Marie Elisabeth of Monaco (born 1 February 1965) is the youngest child of Rainier III, Prince of Monaco, and American actress Grace Kelly. She is the younger sister of Albert II, Prince of Monaco, and Caroline, Princess of Hanover. Currently 14th in the line of succession to the Monégasque throne, she has been a singer, swimwear designer and fashion model.
It’s the first Single from her debut album, “Besoin”. The Single was released in both, French ("Ouragan") and English ("Irresistible") versions. This release includes both versions, as well as a 'multi-mix' version, which combines two songs.
"Ouragan" achieved its biggest success in France, where it debuted at number 17 on the chart edition of 5 April 1986 and rocketed up the chart, reached the top position on 26 April, stayed there for ten consecutive weeks, and eventually charted for a total of 29 weeks. The same year, it was certified Platinum Single by the Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique, for at least one million sales. "Ouragan" thus became the first Single to remain at the top of the French Singles Chart for at least ten weeks, beating the previous record hold by Peter and Sloane with "Besoin de rien, envie de toi" in 1985. It was the second best-selling Single in 1986, behind "Les Démons de minuit", by Images. "Ouragan" also peaked at number eleven in Switzerland.
In non-French-speaking countries, the song charted in its English version, titled "Irresistible". It was a hit in West Germany, where it debuted at number 46 on 14 April 1986, jumped to number eight the next week, reached number two for two weeks and counted 18 weeks on the chart. In addition, it peaked at number two in Spain, was a top five hit in Austria, but stalled at number 84 in the UK.
On the overall Eurochart Hot 100, it debuted at number 95, then jumped to number 11 and reached number two after 13 weeks on the chart, being blocked from the number one slot by Madonna's "Live to Tell", and remained on the chart for 29 weeks, 17 of them in top ten. Much played on radios, it reached number three for a consecutive three weeks on the European Airplay Top 50, spending eight weeks in the top ten out of a 15-week chart run.

After a twenty-nine year hiatus, Steve Grimmett’s Grim Reaper is back with release! Known as Grim Reaper at their first decade (1979 - 1989), band split up in 1989. Vocalist Steve Grimmett resurrected the name in 2006, as Steve Grimmett's Grim Reaper, with the members of his solo band, Steve Grimmett.
Containing twelve songs, "Walking In The Shadows" has a familiar, yet creative, catchy riffage with the semi typical sounding lyrics and vocals of a style that influenced others to come after Grim Reaper. This in mind, there is definitely a ’80s vibe to the music, even though it is 2016, and this does not prove to be a negative trait. Furthermore, for a band with such a dark name, the music does not quite reflect that as much as the lyrics do, but that is all part of the fun.
Fans of Steve Grimmett’s Grim Reaper and followers of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal scene are sure to take away a nostalgic and joyous feeling after subjecting themselves to the highs and lows on "Walking In The Shadows". It is an album full of that classic and slightly Power Metal riff-heavy sound that is an integral part of the making of New Wave of British Heavy Metal

Official release of the third full-length studio album by the German Power/Speed Metal band.
Shortly before the curtain fell on 2014, Germany’s Stormhunter self-released their third album, "An Eye For An I". Going through whole album, you really receive a true message of what Heavy Metal is, defined melodies combined with perfectly good vibrato. Entire album is a dance, a beautiful Waltz of two Metal genres, in which they float on the riffs and surf the majestic wave of New Wave British Heavy Metal sound. It’s fast, it’s melodic, it’s anthemic and catchy, it’s heavy and guitar-centric, and it’s Teutonic as all hell. The 12 tracks (spanning 48 minutes) are high-energy, with stout singalong choruses, buzzsaw riffs and ever-present melodies.
Singer Frank Urschler is a bit of an acquired taste. His vocals are slightly gruff and definitely limited in range. Still, he does the most he can with what he has, and has improved markedly over previous Stormhunter releases. And to his credit, Urschler is very distinctive, so you’ll know right away what band you’re listening to. Really, it’s a shame that "An Eye For An I" hasn’t made more of a ripple in Underground Metal circles.
This album should fit nicely into your music collection alongside the likes of Lonewolf, Elvenstorm, Paragon, Wizard, Stormwarrior, Blazon Stone and so on. It’s a high-quality release of pure, unabashed German Heavy Metal excellence from the heart, and it deserves to be heard!!

The riffs are sometimes fast and take no prisoners, while at other parts they are more Guardian-filtered. There are also enough Maiden-isque leads feeding the Metal fire, and the rhythm section is ample and pounding to the bone.
The performance of the band on this album is very good and well-organized. Manifests of Metal faith are in the menu all the time, and you’ll have a nice time listening to the “Stormhunter”!

"If You Knew Suzi…" is a Quatro's highest-charting album in the United States (it peaked at number 37 on The Billboard 200). The tracks were recorded in Cologne (Germany), Paris (France), and Glendale (California), and then mixed in California and mastered in London, to be distributed by a company based in New York City.
The US and Canadian pressing of the album omitted the Vanda and Young-penned song "Evie", and included "Stumblin' In" (a duet with Chris Norman) in its replacement. "Stumblin' In" was the biggest US single hit, which reached number 4 in both, The Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts. It also had an advertising billboard on Sunset Boulevard.

The tenth full-length studio album by cult Swedish Progressive Power/Heavy Metal band.
Tad Morose is now a full four albums into their ‘comeback’ after a ten-year break between their sixth and seventh albums, and the (mostly) stable line-up is very productive with four albums in ten years.
Albeit with a small nod to the sound of 80s and 90s without sounding less fresh and modern, the band has delivered another solid Metal album. Good solos, good vocals, good production values and enough little extras, such as the occasional acoustic guitar segment, all combine with great songs to make this stellar piece in the band’s long and impressive career.
Tad Morose has been chugging along for years now, releasing mostly solid albums – even if they never seemed to get back to the level of their trinity of albums in the late 90s and early ‘00s. This is probably the strongest of the new albums so far, mostly just coming down to the pared-down runtime. These are short songs that get to the point, and the band has written a bunch of their best tunes in years here.
They haven’t changed all that much since "Modus Vivendi" and these songs are all pretty bare bones, with a general tight, clinical riffing sense, dark, obscure atmosphere and choruses that come at you like spirits rising up from a fucking grave with a vengeance. The difference here is in the quality – while the opening title track sounds like every other song the band ever wrote, after that they do kick into a run of pretty stellar tunes. Check the nifty melodies of “Witches Dance”, the kinetic “Phantasm”, the epic “Dying” and the massive chorus of “Escape” – these are among their coolest tunes in years, and unlike the other recent albums there’s no real filler.
The band sounds as pro as you’d expect, with guitarist Christer Andersson, the lone remaining original member, just having a great feel for massive grooves and stomping riff work. It’s all just f***ing solid! If you’re a fan of Tad Morose or of no bullshit Dark Power Metal, "March Of The Obsequious" ought to be a safe bet for a buy!!

First re-release of the fourth full-length studio album by cult Swedish Progressive Power/Heavy Metal band.
Tad Morose play a Power/Classic Heavy Metal hybrid with slight Progressive tendencies. "Undead" is their first album on the Century Media label. After a long 3-year wait, during which they had to hassle with their old label, Black Mark, they have come out with a very focused and strong album.
Tad Morose have dropped the keyboard player who performed on their past albums and have added a second guitar player, which has made their sound catchier, heavier, and faster. Almost gone is any resemblance to the music from their earlier works. This album can be defined as Power Metal, but Tad Morose is able to sound fresher and better than most bands in this overcrowded genre.
Urban Breed's singing is phenomenal. He has a great range and can do powerful, soaring vocal lines and then sing in a rougher style. His singing reminds of a combination of Zak Stevens (ex- Savatage) and Johnny Lindkvist (Nocturnal Rites). The driving guitar lines by Christer Andersson and Daniel Olsson are crunchy and melodic, and they really do an excellent job. The majority of their solos are not particularly flashy or ultra-fast. Instead, they show a lot of melody and harmony, they are to the point, and as a result, the song as a whole is the focus - not just a speedy solo. The drumming by Peter Morén is tight and powerful, and finally, Anders Modd glues the entire music together with his great bass playing.
"Undead" is a beast of mythical proportions, vicious riffs, fast solos, and an overall atmosphere of dread, doubt and pain. The music soars, the guitar work has a good amount of distortion and sounds influenced by 1980s American Metal. The singer has an exceptionally beautiful voice. It is at turns uplifting, frightening and rough.
Tad Morose has definitely set itself apart from the other Power Metal bands out there, many of which have become very boring and repetitive. This is one of those bands whose sound is very, very hard to accurately describe. They're just good, and their groovy riffs and haunting vocal melodies will keep you coming back for more. Let's hope this well-kept secret from Sweden will gather a strong fan base. After this formidable effort, they deserve it!
