Volbeat's musical style can be described as a combination of Hard Hitting Metallic Rock'n'Roll with a touch of the sixties melodic tunes and Elvis. Their debut album, "The Strength/The Sound/The Songs", put the band on the map immediately with rave reviews almost everywhere. Their live performances (Roskilde Festival, Rock Hard Festival etc. as well as the many club shows) built the band a loyal and constantly growing army of followers.
Guitarist Thomas Bredahl replaced Franz "Hellboss" in 2007. He does not play on this album, although he is credited in the booklet.
This album is again produced by Jacob Hansen and has 11 original songs, all in the signature Volbeat sound. Very Metal, very Hard Rocking and full of power and energy. They have succeeded in transforming the magic they have on stage onto a record. The sixth full-length studio album by legendary Danish Hard Rock/Groove/Heavy Metal band.
The first album not to feature Anders Kjølholm, who left the band in November the previous year.
Musically, the album is more melodic and less Heavy Metal sounding than previous albums. For the first time Volbeat are using female backing vocals on several songs by singer Mia Maja, and "Goodbye Forever" features the Harlem Gospel Choir. Poulsen has said he is the most proud of the album's choruses, which he has called "the strongest I've ever done". Singer Danko Jones features on the song "Black Rose", who Poulsen had stayed in touch with since he first met him when Jones' band played a concert in Copenhagen in 2006.
"The Devil's Bleeding Crown" was released as the album's first Single in North America on 7 April 2016. The single peaked at number one on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs chart in the United States.
Internationally, "For Evigt" was released as the first Single on 29 April 2016. The song features Danish singer Johan Olsen of Rock group Magtens Korridorer, and is the second collaboration between Olsen and Volbeat, following "The Garden's Tale" (2007). "For Evigt" is replaced by "The Bliss" on the North American version, where the Danish chorus sung by Olsen is sung by Michael Poulsen in English.
"Seal the Deal" was released as the album's second international Single on 20 May 2016. On 13 September 2016, it is set to be sent to US active Rock radio as the album's second Single in North America. "Seal the Deal" peaked at number three on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart.
"Black Rose" was released as the third Single in North America, where it was sent to active Rock radio stations in the US on 7 March 2017. The song peaked at number one on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart in the US, becoming Volbeat's sixth number-one Single on the chart.
The album debuted at number one in Denmark. It sold 8 336 units in its opening week, the biggest first-week sales of 2016. In the United States, "Seal The Deal & Let's Boogie" debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 51 000 units. It is the band's highest-charting album in the US and the second-highest charting album by a Danish act, behind Lukas Graham's "Blue Album", which charted at number three two months prior. The album debuted at number 16 in the UK Albums Chart, selling 4 083 copies in its first week.

The eighth full-length studio album by legendary Danish Hard Rock/Psychobilly/Heavy Metal band.
The band’s final studio album to feature their lead guitarist Rob Caggiano before his departure from the band in 2023. The album marks a return to a heavier sound in comparison to their previous album, "Rewind, Replay, Rebound". The debut full-length studio album by legendary Danish Hard Rock/Groove/Heavy Metal band.
"The Strength / The Sound / The Songs" is probably best described as a compilation album of all of Volbeat’s previous demos, strung together to produce their first official debut album. Does this affect the quality of the music and bring this debut to the level of a weak band? F*****ng no!!! This is a strong debut and a great way to introduce a collection of impressive tracks that never made a decent release in Europe or the States.
Released in 2005, the album initially failed to chart. However, in July 2006 the album entered the Danish Charts, peaking at number 18. And it would stay on that chart for 21 non-consecutive weeks. 
The only official single released from the album was the band's cover of Dusty Springfield's "I Only Wanna Be With You", which was released in 2006. The band also filmed a music video for the Single.
Volbeat's label, Mascot Records, had a limited distribution in the United States, meaning that the album went largely unnoticed in that country. Volbeat would not break through in the United States until 2010 with their fourth album, "Beyond Hell / Above Heaven".
Volbeat’s style is a perfect balance of heaviness and acoustic melody, intertwined with heavy, Thrashy riffs and 1950s Bebop. While Volbeat perfected some of these styles and riffs on succeeding albums, the initial characteristics and attitude of what they would become drench this album. 
This is Volbeat’s most fun album due to its mishmash of great tunes that don’t follow a concept or order any further than the organization of the complete album. While the succeeding Volbeat albums are great for their concepts and structure, Volbeat’s debut is the best example of an all-out album with enough diversity, to give it completeness. Everything, from the catchy as all hell "Caroline Leaving" and "Say Your Number" to the ballsy "Rebel Monster" and "Pool of Booze, Booze, Booza" to the mellow (yet heavy) "Soulsweeper" and the Dusty Springfield cover of "I Only Wanna Be With You", gives the album diversity, groove, and melody.

The eighth full-length studio album by cult Swedish Death Metal band.
Compared to the older efforts by this band, "Opus Mortis VIII" shows a little less pure Death Metal style but, that does not mean that it is less anger and killer.
The production of the album is excellent. The very 'dark' guitars are heard during the whole album, and the work done just great. The solos are simply great as their musicality and skilful scales brings each song a great sound. The drums have a pretty good rhythm and clear sound, and the vocals are mixed above the music well. With respect to the voice of Erick, he does an exceptional job here, and gives to the album the "Death" voice style. Also, the music on this album has a good pattern and rhythm, making it nicely structured.
"Opus Mortis VIII" is a very good album and is recommended, especially if you are looking for a bit less impulsive and more old-fashioned Vomitory. But if you love Death Metal in general, this cannot be overlooked!

With a new guitarist on board, the ideas and inspiration started flowing and in December Vomitory entered Leon Music Studio in their hometown Karlstad, breaking up a long working relationship with Henrik Larsson on good terms, to try out something new, since the loss of guitarist Ulf and having Peter on board marked some kind of new start for Vomitory. The band is called by the name of Solarian von Branden who formed the band and is the lead vocalist. They play Gothic/Black Metal with Ambient, Classical and Jazz Influences. There is a lot of experimenting with different styles.
If you don’t like female vocals or if you don’t like Gothic Metal then you will only like 3 or maybe 4 songs of the album, but if you like complex compositions with a lot of change and a very deep emotional background then you should definitely have a look at Von Branden. To enjoy this record it is probably necessary to listen to it several times, to let it unfold its potential.

Blackie Lawless launched W.A.S.P. on the unsuspecting world in 1983 and before long tales of their outrageous music and intense stage shows were legendary. In the last few years of the old century, W.A.S.P. made some of their most striking and brave albums. The ferocious, blood-splattered "Kill Fuck Die" and the celebratory sleazefest of "Helldorado" had provided solid proof that Blackie Lawless’ songwriting skills were as keen and unique as ever and, unlike the majority of his 80s contemporaries, this most dogged and determined of frontmen was entering a new era full of confidence, with that blazing inferno in his eyes clearly a long way from fizzling out.
The early 1990s were rough for L.A. shock rockers W.A.S.P., led by Tipper Gore's arch-enemy Blackie Lawless. W.A.S.P. seems oblivious to nothing, except the kind of L.A. Metal they like, which they had been playing for nearly two decades when "Helldorado" was released. If anything, they've got a little heavier since their glory days of the mid- to late '80s, although no one would mistake them for a different band. It's the same bad-boy sex-drugs-rock & roll shtick that has been W.A.S.P.'s stock-in-trade for many years, but they're still doing it as well as ever. There's something to admire in the fact that they're still cranking it out, and the fact remains that very, very few bands in the late '90s offer new product to fans of this style!

Remastered re-release of the fourth full-length studio album by legendary American Heavy/Glam Metal band.
The last album W.A.S.P. released before their temporary breakup in 1990, only to reunite two years later for "The Crimson Idol" (1992). "The Headless Children" was the first W.A.S.P. album to feature ex-Quiet Riot drummer Frankie Banali and the last studio album to feature guitarist Chris Holmes for six years until he rejoined the band in late 1995 to record "Kill Fuck Die". This is also the band's last album to feature bassist Johnny Rod. In 1990, following departures of Holmes and Rod, W.A.S.P. decided to call it quits, but resurfaced about a year later, with only lead singer/bassist Blackie Lawless and Banali remaining; this was because their next album, "The Crimson Idol", was originally intended to be a solo album by Lawless, until he agreed to release it under the W.A.S.P. name.
"The Headless Children" showcases a new level of maturity from the band compared to their previous three albums, which had stereotypically lewd "Rock and Roll" lyrics. Politics and social issues are now a theme throughout the album. With the band concentrating more on the music than the gimmicks (they were pictured sans ghoulish makeup and costumes), "The Headless Children" remains W.A.S.P.'s most accomplished work. The album's best-known tracks remain their cover of the Who's "Quadrophenia" anthem "The Real Me" and the rocking "Mean Man" (an autobiographical tale about guitarist Holmes), while a pair of epics ("The Heretic" and the title track) and perhaps W.A.S.P.'s best ballad, "Forever Free," were also standouts. While long-time fans may prefer the gross-out Heavy Metal of their early albums ("W.A.S.P." and "The Last Command"), "The Headless Children" is their most well-constructed album.
The album reached No. 48 on the US Billboard 200 chart, the band's highest chart position, and remained on that chart for 13 weeks.
