First time on DVD, the first video album by legendary American Pop/Rock/Folk singer and actress.
Released by Sony BMG in 1992, it contained footage from Cher's two Heart of Stone Tour specials filmed at Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas in 1990. It featured tracks from "Cher" (1987) and "Heart Of Stone" (1989) albums alongside various covers.
The show was originally broadcast on CBS as a Cher concert special in 1991. It was then released on VHS and LaserDisc in the same year. In UK the VHS version has an alternative opening, the same opening used on tour. The CBS Broadcast version was finally released on DVD in 2005 with many extras and further bonus songs that did not make the broadcast but were included on the VHS version. The show shown on the DVD release also uses different angles and shots in various places compared to the original VHS release.

The sixth full-length studio album by legendary Finnish Melodic Death Metal band.
The album includes more Thrash Metal than its predecessors. While writing and recording the album, Alexi Laiho had stated he felt very aggressive, and as a consequence the songs would be faster and "Thrashier" than the songs displayed on their previous release, "Are You Dead Yet?". He notified fans, however, that certain parts of the album would also be more progressive, as heard on "LoBodomy".
All the ingredients from past Bodom releases are present once more: Gothic keyboards, guitar acrobatics, and vocals that sound straight out of the torture chamber. But one thing that differentiates Children Of Bodom from the host of other similarly styled bands is that they know the importance of succinct songwriting - only one track here stretches past the five-minute mark. As a result, "Blooddrunk" showcases one of the few Metal bands that manage to balance straight-to-the-point songwriting with their collective instrumental prowess.
The album includes a re-recorded version single "Tie My Rope". 
The song "Done With Everything, Die For Nothing" is a playable song in Guitar Hero 5, which some players consider to be one of the game's harder songs. 
"Blooddrunk" entered the Billboard 200 at number 22, making it the band's highest charted album thus far in their career, and the third highest Death or Black Metal recording chart in the USA. It sold 20,000 copies during its first week of release. The album went Gold in Finland on pre-orders alone, and topped the Finnish charts beating its nearest rival in sales by 7 to 1.
This is the album you want if you're a Children Of Bodom fan (or even just a general Thrash Metal fan) who is looking for a more keyboard-driven album than their past work. Honestly a triumph!

The fourth full-length album by American Groove/Post-Thrash Metal/Metalcore band.
Chimaira is a band that went through some hard times. They had to replace their drummer 3 times, they had changed their bassist 3 time, they replace one of their guitar player. Now it's a totally different band. People used to think that they stayed close to their Nu-Metal roots of "Pass Out Of Existence" but they haven't. You've got to listen to all of their records to see the evolution of the band. "Resurrection" is now the pinnacle of their career. The impossibility of reason was an angry Thrash album, "Chimaira", it was a more mature product. Now "Resurrection" is the mix of the two. Featuring some of their most aggressive part and some of the most epic moments you can't think.
With Andols Herrick back in the band the band have now resurrect which is why they've choose this record title and write a song about it. The music is as angry as the impossibility of reason. Maturity is a word that always seems to be more involve in the case of Chimaira.
Music wise the band is still using the same format but the songs are shorter than on the self-titled. Thrash riff, double bass, solos and breakdown. The guitar work of Rob Arnold is amazing. The album is bit more Thrash than they used to. They're not getting closer to the status of a Trash band than a Metalcore band. Mark Hunter's voice is at his peak. His lyrics are some of the most brutal he's written. The bass is a bit more present than before. Jason Suecof, the producer, help Jim Lamarca a lot on writing bass line. You can see it on the bonus DVD. Rob solos are like they used to be. Not too much but just great. Andols now better than ever; he's using more cymbals.
Overall this record is a solid work, more mature and darker. They're now holding their future up their hand. We're just hoping that they'll stay in the good direction!
This is the Chimaira's first album with Ferret Music since leaving Roadrunner Records. "Resurrection" features drummer Andols Herrick who rejoined the band. Debuting at number 42 on the Billboard 200 charts, "Resurrection" shipped about 16,000 copies sold in its first week. The title track appears on the soundtrack for the video game Saint's Row 2. The album is also listed on Metal Storm's top 100 metal albums.

The fifth full-length album by the American Groove/Post-Thrash Metal/Metalcore band.
Opening with an ominous, semi-epic instrumental the passage, the album aims and fires without much apprehension. With 10 tracks, the guarantee of all killer, no filler is one that can easily be made. Cleveland's Chimaira have always knocked on the door of mainsteam Metal success that has been opened by the likes of Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God and As I Lay Dying, but the six-piece has never fully entered the room and crashed the party. There's no real reason for that, as the band is deft with manufacturing Metal songs that are raw enough to chafe the first layer of cells from your skin. The guitar work is good. The screaming is good. The drumming is, and we mean no offense to those who are heavily medicated or institutionalized, f**king insane; it's the anchor of "The Infection", with it's super-precise patterns. "The Infection" is easily the band's most brutal album to date; the opening salvo, "The Venom Inside", is slightly blackened, while "Frozen in Time" is threaded with an ever-so-subtle keyboard melody that is often reserved for European Metal bands. About three minutes into this song, there's a haunting, creeky part that will make the baby fine hairs on your spine stand on end; it's creepy, eerie and thoroughly Metallic. Chimaira are throwing everything, including the kitchen sink, into their sonic stew and the band ends up with a Blackened and Deathy American Metal record that should shut the mouths of naysayers who tried to classify Chimaira as Nu Metal in the past.
Guitarists Rob Arnold and Matt DeVries prove to be a formidable tandem on "The Infection", which is driven by both Slayer and classic Metallica-influenced riffs. It's as though every member of Chimaira stepped up to the plate and knocked it outta the park when it came to writing and playing their parts on the album. Hunter's ferocious; drummer Andols Herrick is a machine holding down the rhythm section with Jim LaMarca; Arnold and DeVries squeeze out riffs that could cut plate glass; and Chris Spicuzza, who handles the electronics, has enhanced the record with his touches and flourishes in more obvious, audible ways than ever before. Check about four minutes and beyond of "Secrets of the Dead" for a real taste of what Spicuzza adds to Chimaira's overall sound!
Chimaira have gotten more Metal with age and this is one "The Infection" you'll want to succumb to!!

Second full-length album by American Progressive Power Metal solo-project of Chris Caffery, guitarist of Savatage.
Album contains 13 tracks, which means approximately 52 minutes of melodic Heavy Metal. Basically, melodic Heavy Metal cannot exactly describe this album. Caffery combines many Metal genres, which of course are close to each other. This album continues exactly from where his first two albums were. The heaviness remains but this time, Caffery's vocals are more powerful and definitely more mature. This time the music is much more diverse. Heavy Metal is the law as always, but the music is now enriched with some Power Metal elements as well as some more aggressive Thrash Metal stuff. All those filtered through the 21st century's sound of course. Caffery's sound is influenced by Savatage a lot and this is more than obvious in every single track. His vocals are based on the classic Savatage vocal lines and the guitars are razor sharp. Now imagine all of the above with the addition of great musicians that give their own touch here and there making this album even more kick-ass: Alex Skolnick (Testament, Savatage…etc.), Nick Douglas (Doro, Blaze), Paul Morris (Doro, Rainbow… etc.) and more.
Every single metalhead has loved the guitar work of Chris Caffery and definitely worshiped every. “Pins And Needles” is a very good name for this album since every song pinches your f*****g hairy ass to get up and headbang until your head rolls on the ground!

Specificity of the genre moving away from Black Metal and firmly sits in the vast Dark Metal. However, this does not necessarily indicate a lack of an album, and in fact, dignity thanks shattered musical cliches full-off experiments. Electronic samples, the soft sound of flutes, percussion in the eastern style of performance, vocals bursting from screaming/growling to romantic-gothic, midtempo drums, keyboards ... accelerate air support, easy perception of the album and a rich palette of colors gives the sound of his unique artistic taste. The special charm of the album is hidden in the native language of musicians, lyrics which can be heard in 50 percent of the total material. Album strange chopped in half, like a fragment torn from suffering ... sometimes you can feel the violent moments close to Death Metal.

First official re-release on CD of third full-length studio album by legendary Polish Occult Dark/Black Metal band.
Polish cult, darkened and mythical Black Metallers Christ Agony returned with their classic opus “Moonlight - Act III” reissued through Old Temple records! And it is still an awesome, blasphemous work of dark art, which it was in 1996, when originally released.
“Moonlight” is a occult ritual for the glory of the Lord of Darkness. There are six monumental tracks of darkened, hellish, devil invoking Black Metal art here, which almost adds up to an hours’ worth of pure, satanic cult hell. Music-wise, “Moonlight - Act III” is a pure work of Occult Black Art, with hints of Atmospheric, mystical Black Metal, which brings to mind early Satyricon and Moonspell. Band's raw and unfiltered, blasphemous Black Metal just sucks your soul out of your shell and drags it down to the deepest and most horrid of caverns in the netherworld.
The opening track, an 11-minute assault of vicious spells and curses along with the spirit raping rhythm guitars and bestial vocal passages makes for one heck of a chilling experience listening to it at bedtime. The haunting, ghost-like male vocals gives this song an even colder vibe to it.
Listening to this album brings forth visions of ritualistic satanic sacrifices taking place in the forest of the tormented dead, and as you listen to this album from beginning to end, you feel as if your life is slowly evaporating.
