The debut EP and the first full-length studio album by legendary Swedish Death Metal band.
Back in the late 80s, a Swedish Underground Death Metal band named Nihilist turned into the breeding ground from which two big players of the genre emerged: Entombed and Unleashed. Together with Grave and Dismember, these bands are crucial for turning the Punkish Scandinavian Death Metal sound into a global phenomenon, defining and refining its stylistics, and making it a successful genre to the very day.
Parallel to records by Asphyx, Tiamat, Grave and Morgoth, Unleashed’s debut album was one of many all-time-classics of Death Metal released in 1991. On "Where No Life Dwells", the Swedish outfit reveals a commitment to two kinds of Death Metal: fast and faster. The album is considered as a classic among Death Metal fans.
2001 re-issue contains 7 bonus tracks and 2 bonus videos. This is a perfect opportunity to bring back this timeless and gloomy masterpiece. Pure and enthusiastic, this disc plays like an audio textbook for those interested in the state and design of early-90s Death Metal excess. A total of 7 songs were recorded in 1990. Two of them made it onto "And the Laughter Has Died...." 7" Single (1991), three made onto "In The Eyes Of Death" compilation (1991), and two remained unmixed, available on this reissue. Now packaged with additional tracks, "Where No Life Dwells" remains a landmark album by the long-running Swedes.

The second full-length album by American AOR band.
Urgent gelled when Michael and Steve Kehr, formerly of Sterling, pulled other brother Don along for "Cast The First Stone", a great debut produced by the storied Ian Hunter. Hunter hauls old bro Mick Ronson, the guitarist from Hull, 'round again for Urgent's sophomore effort "Thinking Out Loud". Already jaded by the '80s, Hunter found the first album sessions to be a soulless experience, feeling records and radio were closed books. As a result, the royal duo's workload lightens to only co-authoring three tracks: "If This Is Love," "Inch by Inch", and "Pain (Love Is a Victim)" - the last intended for a future Hunter/Ronson project. Judas Priest helmsman Tom Allon handles production. Ensnaring no fanfare or air time, and lacking the snap of the first record, "Thinking Out Loud" disappeared instantly, along with Urgent, though the band maintains status in esoteric AOR circles.
However, this album has a good range. We can find very nice combination of tunes here, and be in love with tracks like "Running Back" for it's awesome keyboards and pre-chorus. "If This Is Love" is a great ballad. You'll can't forget the catchy "Give'em Enough Rope" for a great contributions. Still, this album is good one to have in your collection!

A suffocating assault to the senses of harrowing noise and pounding heaviness with brooding landscapes of Doom, Atmosphere and haunting Dark Ambient Noise. V:XII is a project of Daniel Jansson, which you could compare to MZ412 or other Nordvargr projects, to name just that one project.
"Rom, Rune And Ruin - The Odium Disciplina" is very minimalistic in its sound and approach, this is not music, but rather eight tracks of disturbing sounds and noises, without rhythm, melodies or something what would make you feel like they're catchy or memorable. There are echoes like from deep abyss, Industrial sounds, and different sort of vocals but not singing... Everything that aims to create a specific atmosphere and could be treated maybe as sort of soundtrack to the journey into darkness.
It definitely is not an album that would entertain the listener – you are listen to such anti-music under specific conditions; you have to set up the mood in order to challenge it. Otherwise, it has no sense. It's not an album, which would work as a background to your daily routine. 
"Rom, Rune And Ruin - The Odium Disciplina" is one of those musical journeys that we like to take once in a while, when we want to listen to something very dark, eerie and very disturbing, but away from our usual Extreme Metal territory.
