The fifth full-length studio album by legendary former lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses, and the fourth album of Slash to feature Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators.
It’s been a decade since Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators released their debut album together, and since then have been on one of the more impressive and unrelenting tears in Rock ‘n’ Roll, issuing two more hard-hitting, highly-acclaimed records, and rocking stages all over the world. Since their debut, Slash has amassed album sales of over 100 million copies, garnered a Grammy Award and 7x Grammy nominations, and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Though Slash reunited with Guns N' Roses in 2016, he has still continued with his solo work - this being the second studio album release in that time period. This is the first album to come from the newly formed relationship with Gibson Records and BMG.
Writing for the album started during the 2018-19 Living the Dream Tour. Looking to record the album differently than previously, the band travelled to Nashville to record at RCA Studio A with Dave Cobb. The band faced the complications of COVID-19, not only in a delay of getting together to record the album, but also with the recording itself. Myles Kennedy was the first of several band members to contract the virus. He points out that you can hear his congestion on the opening track, but states that these anomalies make the album interesting because "We just let those imperfections lay".
True to the band’s expanding legacy, it’s everything you’ve come to expect from Slash, Myles Kennedy, Todd Kerns (bass), Brent Fitz (drums) and Frank Sidoris (rhythm guitar)… but also unlike anything you’ve heard from them yet.

Remastered re-release of the debut full-length album by American Alternative Hard Rock superband.
The superband consisting of Brother Cane and Queensrÿche band members, and was formed in 2000.
In 2000, the band Queensrÿche went on a break after finishing a 6-month tour in support of Q2K. Drummer Scott Rockenfield and guitarist Kelly Gray, who played in Queensrÿche at that time, were discussing what to do. Gray had worked with Brother Cane on a project, and remained close to singer and guitarist Damon Johnson and bassist Roman Glick. He called Johnson in the summer of 2000, and suggested him to give Rockenfield a call. Rockenfield knew of the band, but never met them. The name "Slave To The System" describes the effect of corporate minds on an artist's music, and hints at the band members' dissatisfaction with the record industry. The name was coined by Gray even before the band members first met.
The band sent demos to various record labels trying to negotiate a record deal. In 2002, they decided to release the album on their own. They independently released the album "Slave To The System" in 2002. The music consists both the old and new schools of Rock and Metal, including Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy, Audioslave and Velvet Revolver influences.
The band played one show in Tennessee and another Seattle after this release. In February 2004, Heard left for undisclosed reasons, and they continued as a four-piece.
Eventually in 2005, the band got signed to Spitfire Records. The original release was remixed and remastered by Spitfire, before they released it on February 21, 2006. The re-release included two new songs, "Cruise Out of Control" and "Ragdoll", featuring Gray on vocals. It received radio play and its sales got the album up to number 25 on the charts.

The fourth European re-release of the fifth full-length studio album by the legendary American Thrash Metal band.
It was the first album of Slayer released on the new Rick Rubin's label Def American (because of disagreements with the producer of Def Jam owner Russell Symons). "Seasons In The Abyss" is the last Slayer’ album with Dave Lombardo before his return in 2002. 
After staking out new territory with the underrated "South Of Heaven", Slayer brought back some of the pounding speed of "Reign In Blood" for their third major-label album, "Seasons In The Abyss". Essentially, "Seasons" fuses its two predecessors, periodically kicking up the mid-tempo grooves of "South Of Heaven" with manic bursts of aggression. "War Ensemble" and the title track each represented opposite sides of the coin, and they both earned Slayer their heaviest MTV airplay to date.
In fact, "Seasons In The Abyss" is probably their most accessible album, displaying the full range of their abilities all in one place, with sharp, clean production. Since the band is refining rather than progressing or experimenting, "Seasons" doesn't have quite the freshness of its predecessors, but aside from that drawback, it's strong almost all the way from top to bottom (with perhaps one or two exceptions).
Lyrically, the band rarely turns to demonic visions of the afterlife anymore, preferring instead to find tangible horror in real life - war, murder, human weakness. There's even full-fledged social criticism, which should convince any doubters that Slayer aren't trying to promote the subjects they sing about. Like Metallica's "Master Of Puppets" or Megadeth's "Peace Sells... But Who's Buying!", "Seasons In The Abyss" paints Reagan-era America as a cesspool of corruption and cruelty, and the music is as devilishly effective as ever.
CD debuted at the 44th position on the Billboard 200 and number 18 on the UK Albums Chart. In 1992 was certified a Gold in both the United States and Canada. The title track and "War Ensemble" earned Slayer its heaviest airplay on MTV to date. "Seasons In The Abyss" certainly among the top of three albums of the band!

The album was recorded & mixed in November 1983 at Track Record Studios and released a month later. It took only eight hours to record (!!!), to cut down studio costs, which explains the poor production quality. Although criticized for poor production quality, "Show No Mercy" became Metal Blade Records' highest selling release!

First re-release of the tenth full-length studio album by legendary American Thrash Metal band.
Slayer's first release featuring the original line-up since 1990s “Seasons In The Abyss”! They came through on all of their promises. It is like a mix of "Seasons In The Abyss" and "God Hates Us All", and the return of the drum master Dave Lombardo places the band back on the edge, pushing themselves and the genre to look back at where they've been and where they go from here! Kerry and Jeff shred all over this album; it's a riff lover’s dream!!! And Tom goes balls-to-the-wall when it comes time to let rip some vocals!!!! The result is a rushing linebacker assault of fast chord changes and slamming, skid-stop rhythms of drummer Dave Lombardo, who knows how to seat an off time phrase within a dead-mans-hand cadence, then top it off with a fill that crushes its own rhythmic expectation with a structure like the silent falling of buildings under a nuclear shockwave. From newer albums, Slayer keep the jaunty bounce and two-chord rhythm riffs, but into it, they adroitly mix their older lead guitar fills, chaotic solos and song structures that seem displaced by internal earthquakes.
Lyrics, particularly in the song "Jihad", describe the September 11 attacks from a terrorist perspective. A Mumbai based Christian group, the Catholic Secular Forum, was outraged by this and thus demanded a recall. As a result, all Indian stocks of the album were recalled and destroyed by EMI India. Depicting a mutilated Christ painted by long-time collaborator Larry Carroll, the album's graphic artwork courted controversy. An alternative cover was issued to conservative retailers who felt uncomfortable with the original. The band also put out a censored cover, which censored out the offensive artwork.
The album received generally favourable critical reviews, and it entered the Billboard 200 at number 5 - the band's highest U.S. chart position to date. “Christ Illusion” includes the Grammy Award-winning song "Eyes of the Insane". In its first week of release, the album sold 62,000 copies in the United States.
"Christ Illusion" is one of the most fist pumping, pissed off, and downright shredding albums you'll ever come across!!!!! Definitely the best Slayer record since "South Of Heaven" and "Seasons In The Abyss"!!!!!!

The third re-release of the second live album by legendary American Thrash Metal band.
The album was recorded during the Touring The Abyss and Clash Of The Titans tours, in three separate places, on three separate dates: Wembley Arena in London (October 14, 1990); Orange Show Pavilion in San Bernardino, California (March 8, 1991; and Lakeland Civic Center in Lakeland, Florida (July 13, 1991). Producer Rick Rubin made the two-discs sound like it was recorded at one gig. Unlike most other live recordings, this Slayer album completely “live” – no overdubbing exists on this recording. Joel McIver, author of "The Bloody Reign of Slayer", said that it was regarded as one of the best live albums released by a Heavy Metal band. 
The album was released through Def American Recordings on October 22, 1991.  Although it had a working title "Decade Of Decadence", it was released as "Decade Of Aggression" after Mötley Crüe copyrighted the name on their 1991 greatest hits album.
The album charted on three different charts. On November 9, 1991, it peaked at number 55 on the Billboard 200. On January 13, 1992, the album entered the Media Control Charts, peaked at number 35.
