Remastered re-release of the debut full-length studio album by legendary American Alternative/Funk/Rap Rock band.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers' debut album sketched out their Funk Metal hybrid quite effectively, especially on the warped deep groove of "True Men Don't Kill Coyotes". Even though their fusion of heavy guitars and slapping bass was audacious, their first effort didn't quite gel into a cohesive album.
"The Red Hot Chili Peppers" was released with the band disappointed in the production. It failed to chart on the Billboard 200, reaching #201 (meaning it "bubbled under" the main album chart for 8 weeks in the autumn of 1984). The album received college airplay and MTV rotation, and built the band's fan base. The reviews that were published of the album were mixed, with the first issue of Spin magazine giving, according to Anthony Kiedis in his autobiography Scar Tissue, a positive review.
This is the only album to feature Jack Sherman on guitar who was fired by the band at the end of the tour in support of the album and replaced by founding member, Hillel Slovak.
As of 2007, it had sold about 300,000 copies worldwide. Kiedis and Flea have mentioned over the years that they prefer the demo versions of most of these songs which were recorded with the original lineup featuring Hillel Slovak and Jack Irons. However, the band acknowledged in various books that Jack Sherman's contributions to the band, particularly his knowledge of Funk music and music theory, were things that helped the band's development, which they hadn't had with Hillel.

"Freaky Styley" marks founding guitarist Hillel Slovak's studio album debut, following his return to the band earlier in the year. The album is the last to feature drummer Cliff Martinez.
The music on the record draws influence from Funk, Punk Rock, and Psychedelic Rock, while the lyrical content was inspired by the band members' lives in Hollywood.
"Jungle Man" and "Hollywood (Africa)" were released as promotional Singles, while "Catholic School Girls Rule" and "Jungle Man" had music videos made for them.
Critics viewed the album as an improvement upon the band's debut album, praising "Freaky Styley"'s musical experimentation and production. However, it did not achieve mainstream success and failed to enter the Billboard 200. The band embarked on the Infinity Tour to promote the album.

Songs features powerful choruses and crunching riffs, with clean echo laded serene passages entwined with Hard Rock/Heavy Metal 80’s era vocal lines. Is an album that you can easily enjoy from start to finish without being distracted or losing interest. Lastly, vocalist Nirmal Peter has a great melodic voice that you can listen to for hours on end; delivering such emotion and passion in his vocals. Despite the music not being overly heavy at all, in this case the way the music was written, the end result was that it’s not meant to be that it works a treat as is. There are heavy fragments in every song which are of a high caliber, whether it be the guitar solos or instrumental passages where the bass guitar and technical drumming come together to add further depth. Some fans and listeners alike may yearn for something slightly heavier that packs more of a punch and at times that could be true, but overall if that’s the only fault of this disc, then The Sacred Truth have done a remarkable job with this debut album. Fans that should gravitate towards this CD would range anywhere from fans of Iron Maiden to Dream Theater, with a lot of genres in between. The Sacred Truth have a lot of talent and a lot good things going for them already after just one full-length release!

Amazing new release from this Belgium outfit! After not very well first EP, "Cursed Earth Wasteland" is chocked with all sorts of goodies for us to sink out teeth into! Fast, melodic, and brutal! This release is full of groove laden insanity sure to bring the masses to the front of any stage.
They've definitely improved within the past few years and the first thing the production. This totally blows away the sound they had back then. Instead of self producing this album they went to Soundlodge Studio in Germany to record and it was a good decision. The Seventh are very competent musicians, especially Tony's drum playing which is really fast. With Gerhard and Brad on guitar and Gert on bass, these Belgian's play Melodic Death really well. Facial D's raspy vocal delivery is done well. The Seventh has brought the brutality of Death and Thrash Metal and merged it with the captivation and dark overtone of Black Metal!
The Seventh will lay to waste everything in the underground, conquering every stage they set foot on and captivate audiences the world around with effortless execution! Think of a nice blend of Arch Enemy and Vehemence and you'll get the idea!!

The second full-length studio album by legendary British Dark Wave/Gothic Rock band.
While the goth scene in England was picking up commercial steam in the mid-'80s, the Sisters Of Mercy may have seemed quiet, but they roared back with 1987's "Floodland". Andrew Eldritch (along with bassist Patricia Morrison) creates a black soundscape that is majestic and vast. While the earlier Sisters releases were noisy, sometimes harsh affairs, "Floodland" is filled with lush production (thanks to Meat Loaf writer/producer Jim Steinman and the New York Choral Society) and lyric imagery that is both scary and glorious. The slower tracks, like "Flood" and "1959", are some of the best ethereal sounds Goth has to offer, and the downright regal "This Corrosion" is one of the best songs of the genre. Being close to an Andrew Eldritch solo album, "Floodland"’s ultimate place in The Sisters Of Mercy’s discography may be unclear to some. The album considered by many to be a step sideways in the band’s musical direction, but it’s definitely a nice wandering off the beaten path of Dr. Avalanche.
"Floodland" and its singles had a positive commercial performance. The album debuted in the United Kingdom at number 9. Its pre-orders assured it Silver certification status from the BPI on the day of its release. The three singles released to support the album were "This Corrosion", "Dominion", and "Lucretia My Reflection". In the UK, "This Corrosion" peaked at number 7, "Dominion" peaked at number 13, and "Lucretia My Reflection" peaked at number 20. In Germany, "Floodland" entered the top 100 albums chart on 14 December 1987, staying there for twenty weeks and reaching number 32. In 1988, the album was certified Gold by the BPI for selling 100,000 copies in the UK. The album also peaked within the top 40 in other European countries. It reached number 101 in the Billboard 200 on 12 March 1988. In 1993 "Floodland" went Gold, with 250,000 sold units.

The second and the final full-length album by russian Gothic Doom Metal band.
The Sundial are dedicated entirely to the harder pace and go vocally and musically strongly towards Tristania and Theatre Of Tragedy. This is also the reason why the Russians are a bit dowdy, although production and fits the musical performance of the band are almost perfect. They also are not afraid, besides always prevailing Keyboard walls incorporate also original violin part, with whom they also remember from time to time to My Dying Bride. One should mention the many instrumental parts, some of which run through all the songs, only to be interrupted by the classic antiphonal singing again.
Even though no new approaches are available, this guys are already endowed. One can with good average Gothic Metal, which partially hangs in the Black Metal genre, The Sundial are really good!

Album comes on nice 24kt Gold CD with Pit Art.

Deluxe Editions of the debut EP by Brazilian Thrash/Death Metal band, led by Jairo “Tormentor” Guedz, former member of the original Sepultura line-up.
Tormentor (Ex-Sepultura, Ex-The Mist) is an author and co-author of the classic records “Bestial Devastation” and “Morbid Visions”, and having also collaborated on some of “Schizophrenia’s” compositions. 
The band also includes bassist/vocalist Alex Kafer (Enterro, Explicit Hate, ex-Necromancer), drummer Alexandre Oliveira (Southern Blacklist, Raising Conviction), and guitarist Marcelo Vasco (Patria, Mysteriis, acclaimed graphic artist for legendary bands such as Slayer, Kreator, Machine Head, Soulfly, and Hatebreed among many others).
The Troops Of Doom’s goal is to revisit the essence of ‘80s style Death Metal, exploring a more primitive sound that takes listeners back to that era, while remaining fresh and genuine.
“The Rise Of Heresy,” which features four original songs and two cover versions of Sepultura classics, “Bestial Devastation” and “Troops of Doom”, was mastered by Øystein G. Brun (Borknagar) at Crosound Studio in Norway.

Second full-length album by Spanish Death 'n' Roll/Stoner Metal band. Slow Death Metal with Stoner Rock elements and a lot of dark atmosphere. There are a lot of great riffs and many clean guitar parts, great bass and a very good drummer. There are a lot of keyboard themes and some percussion added. The voices are in Atmospheric Death mood and there are also some female vocals, always in Spanish. Their music is somewhere between Stoner Rock, Death and Roll and peeping to Death Metal. In some songs they sound like GOREFEST of the “Chapter 13”and “La Muerte” eras. The production of the album went some years back since it hasn't that polished touch that almost all modern productions have. And that's good. Overall “En El Silencio” is an album that, despite the exotic sound it has due to the Spanish language, is a fun CD that fans of 'stone' and Death & Roll Metal, with vocals that lean to Death Metal, will like. Not something new in the scene but it's well played and you can see that the band likes what they are doing and they are playing with their hearts!
