Traditional 90s style Power Metal with fast and Speedy tracks and melodic hooks. Band's high-intensity guitar playing generally a bit faster than most other similar Power Metal, but they have all the qualities of bands similar in nature to their own. The guitar playing is fast-paced, and the solos are at blinding speed. The vocals are generally quite high and soaring, and the drums are solid foundation beats. The bass seems to be hard to pick up on in the music, but in general band have a very good sound. In short, they're fast, powerful and fruity as an orchard. Steel Attack tends to feature really cool opening riffs that they follow up on with solid songs, unlike some other bands we know.
Steel Attack's strength definitely lies in their guitar work. This is a staple sound for fans of the genre. If you like the genre, you won't want to miss this well-done album!

The debut full-length studio album by American Glam Metal band.
Hair Metal is still alive! Taking debauchery to the next level for their debut, Steel Panther gather inspiration from Warrant, Poison, and Mötley Crüe and pretend to be a Metal band with two primal desires: rocking faces and scoring chicks. Metal satire is a well-traveled road, with Bad News, Spinal Tap, and Tenacious D, all taking their respective turns portraying lunkheaded Metalheads.
Metal references fly out of every corner, with nods to the Def Leppard ultra-processed "whoa oh" sound, Richie Sambora's "Bad Medicine" guitar talk box intro, and a slapping acoustic ode to Extreme's definitive power ballad, "More Than Words". Steel Panther's ability to create songs that sound like they came from 1987 is commendable.
Tracks "Fat Girl", "Stripper Girl" and "Hell's On Fire" are re-recordings from the band's 2003 EP Hole Patrol (which was released under their old name Metal Shop), while "Death to All But Metal" is a re-recording from their 2004 contribution to the Metal Sludge compilation "Hey That's What I Call Sludge! Vol. 1".
The album debuted on #123 and peaked at #98 on the Billboard 200 chart, as well as peaked at #1 on the Billboard Top Comedy Albums chart.

The fourth full-length studio album by American Glam Metal band.
Rude, crude, and lude. Would anyone expect anything less from Steel Panther? There’s never been any middle ground when it comes to the material of today’s most successful Glam Metal band around. Reactions are explicit. Either you have adored or been disgusted by them. They’ve long been a polarizing yet strong presence in the Rock world for years, despite being pigeonholed as a one-trick pony. Prepare to be amazed, however.
Their fourth release is slightly less overtly dirty than previous work. In Steel Panther terms, that really doesn’t mean much. This observation only considers the fact that this record follows their previous release, "All You Can Eat", which featured track titles such as “Bukkake Tears” and “Glory Hole”. No detail is needed in describing what those songs are about. Unfortunately, their ridiculously over-the-top song material and persona has somewhat overshadowed the talent level of this four-piece.
It’s understandable, considering their shtick has been a comedic presentation highlighting the more laughable aspects of the 1980’s hairspray-rock scene. Steel Panther is basically Bon Jovi cranked a thousand fold in the sleaziest direction possible. They do it loud and they do it proud. What gets lost in the parody is the sheer chemistry that is prevalent in the music. This ability is just as much, if not stronger of a presence on Lower the Bar. A sense of focus is more apparent than before.
A brilliant cover of Cheap Trick’s “She’s Tight”, featuring Robin Zander himself in a cameo role to vocalist Michael Starr (Ralph Saenz), is done appropriately with the just the right amount of zeal. It’s surprisingly pretty straightforward and symbiotic. “Goin’ In the Backdoor” really showcases the virtuosity of guitarist Satchel (Russ Parrish), featuring a notably blistering solo that cuts through like a knife. The hard-driving, “I Got What You Want”, is an up-tempo Rocker, blending a healthy dose of slamming electric and keyboards. Starr displays his vocal prowess and versatility throughout the album, a trait that has carried over noticeably into the live shows.
"Lower The Bar" will undoubtedly please the Steel Panther loyalists, but also offer a musical proficiency that is in short supply amongst other more “serious” modern Rock bands!

Remastered re-release of the fifth full-length album by the cult American Progressive Power Metal band.
The band of Steve Dachinsky was initially formed in the early 80's under the moniker Hard Prophet. As the years went by, Steve changed the band's name into Steel Prophet and released a demo called "Inner Ascendance" in 1990 which indicated the great potential of the band. The band released six albums during the 90's and one in the year 2000.
"Book Of The Dead" is their next album, which hoppingly for the band will make some people (who ignored them) take a better look at their work. It's a dynamic Heavy/Power Metal album with twelve tracks spinning around ancient Egypt's atmospherical theme (as most of you know, "Book of the Dead" was like a bible in ancient Egypt). So the theme of the whole album is actually pretty attracting for starters!
Rick Mythiasin's vocals vary in most of the songs and that's a great plus in the album. Not much to say about the guitars as Steve Kachinsky simply is a great guitar player and he's been around for almost 20 years! The Bass is fine, nothing special but fine. Karl Roqvist is quite a good drummer and he keeps the basic structure well together. He's powering like hell in some songs, he goes dynamically and slow in others and generally in a few plain words he's great.
Some people say that the song "Escaped" is like Iron Maiden's "The Trooper" or "Hallowed Be Thy Name", because of a particular riff in the song. It might remind you slightly of Iron Maiden but guitar chords aren't owned by anyone.
"Book Of The Dead" is a great Power/Heavy Metal album by some guys who know how to play, so don't turn your back on it. Give it shot, you'll like it!!

Remastered re-release of the third full-length album by the cult American Progressive Power/Thrash Metal band.
One of Power Metal's most underrated bands, America's Steel Prophet has managed to mix aggressive, borderline Thrash and Progressive Metal with some supremely melodic arrangements. True Metal at it's best! Steel Prophet is a name that never actually heard until they started putting songs on just about every Heavy Metal "tribute" CD that came out. Thing about their covers were that they were usually the best songs on the compilations.
The concept album based on Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451" showed off the band's knack for twin-guitar leads and its ability to craft memorable songs and solos. Twin-guitar leads and melodic vocal lines in the classic mold of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. In fact, so complete is this record that a faithful cover of Fates Warning's "The Apparition" seems tacked on at the end.
Mythiasin's voice, along with Kachinsky's vision, is one major reason why Steel Prophet continued to exist despite years of flying under the Metal community's radar. The band released compelling, intelligent and muscular Metal during America's Grunge and Nu-Metal era. For that alone, we should be grateful. 
In any case, this is an excellent album, sort of like early Fates Warning but heavier!

After starting the band in the ‘80s, founder Steve Kachinsky never gave it much thought that in the year 2002 they’d still be going strong and creating the most important and vital music of their careers. "Unseen" seethes with passion and vitality, and Steel Prophet’s undying hunger gives the songs on album an underlying rawness and edge. Their first three releases, combined with constant gigging in the LA area with bands like Armored Saint and Fates Warning, gained them a loyal following, but it wasn’t until Nuclear Blast signed them in 1998 that Steel Prophet truly emerged as a powerful music force.

Re-release on CD of the third full-length album by the cult American Heavy Metal band.
“Prisoners”, originally released in 1988 via Black Dragon Records, nearly two years after the previous “Second Offense”, displays the first lineup changes within the Steel Vengeance personal. Tracy Kerbuski arrived as the new lead/rhythm guitarist along with the slashing drummer Marshall Davis manning the skins. Furthermore, this lineup changes also injected venom within the band’s perception towards their earlier music.
Steel Vengeance actually lived up beyond the elements of Hard Rock/Glam/Hair Metal that stood firm on the earlier album thus preparing the grounds for gristle Speed/Heavy Metal accustomed to the classic US Metal code with clear influences of Motörhead and a few early Megadeth and Metallica signatures (minus the technical stuff) but still engulfed by the captivating magic of post NWOBHM bands. Of course “Prisoners” still remained true to the band’s earlier musical endeavors, but eventually it took the band higher than their last effort.
“Prisoners” sounded nastier, heavier, always on the attack, flashing with emphatic shred soloing that seemed to last for long moments or in every naked moment.
A great comeback to awesomeness for this American band, taking another step in their development!! Strongly recommended for fans of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest!!!

The debut full-length studio album by Princess Stéphanie Marie Elisabeth of Monaco.
The album was released in September 1986, incorporating Dance-Pop, Synth-Pop, Dance and Pop music.  In some countries, it was released as "Live Your Life", or simply "Stephanie". All versions include the same 9 core tracks, but track sequence varies and different combinations of French/English versions are included. CD's also include remixes. Later CD re-releases were retitled ("L'Album D'Or", "Rendez-Vous", "Irresistible", "Ouragan", "Dance With Me") but include the same tracks as the original 1986 CD's.
"Besoin" reached number six at the French Albums Chart and the Swedish Albums Chart, number twelve at the German Albums Chart, and number 59 at the Austrian Albums Chart. It reportedly sold in approximately 1.5 million units, and achieved Gold status in France for over 100 000 units.
Despite the success of "Besoin", Stéphanie did not make a follow-up for five years until the release of the second album, "Stephanie", in 1991.

The second Single from the debut full-length studio album, "Besoin", by Princess Stéphanie Marie Elisabeth of Monaco.
After the success of her number one debut single "Ouragan" in the second quarter of 1986, Stéphanie decided to continue her musical career releasing an album, "Besoin", which met with success on the French Albums Chart, as it reached number six and was certified Gold. She then followed up "Ouragan" with a second Single, "Flash" (or "One Love To Give" - depends on version), which was eagerly awaiting by the public, who wanted to see whether the princess would be able to duplicate her first success.
The Single was released in both, French ("Flash") and English ("One Love To Give") versions. This release includes both versions, and "Le Sega Mauricien" song on the B-side. The "One Love To Give" song is a Remix Version on this release.
The Single was a top five hit in several European countries. "Flash" was certified Silver by the Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique for at least 250,000 units. The English version, "One Love To Give", had a great success in Sweden, where it debuted at number nine in the late December 1986 and topped the chart for one month. It was also a top three hit in Finland, and peaked at number ten in Germany.

Princess Stéphanie Marie Elisabeth of Monaco (born 1 February 1965) is the youngest child of Rainier III, Prince of Monaco, and American actress Grace Kelly. She is the younger sister of Albert II, Prince of Monaco, and Caroline, Princess of Hanover. Currently 14th in the line of succession to the Monégasque throne, she has been a singer, swimwear designer and fashion model.
It’s the first Single from her debut album, “Besoin”. The Single was released in both, French ("Ouragan") and English ("Irresistible") versions. This release includes both versions, as well as a 'multi-mix' version, which combines two songs.
"Ouragan" achieved its biggest success in France, where it debuted at number 17 on the chart edition of 5 April 1986 and rocketed up the chart, reached the top position on 26 April, stayed there for ten consecutive weeks, and eventually charted for a total of 29 weeks. The same year, it was certified Platinum Single by the Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique, for at least one million sales. "Ouragan" thus became the first Single to remain at the top of the French Singles Chart for at least ten weeks, beating the previous record hold by Peter and Sloane with "Besoin de rien, envie de toi" in 1985. It was the second best-selling Single in 1986, behind "Les Démons de minuit", by Images. "Ouragan" also peaked at number eleven in Switzerland.
In non-French-speaking countries, the song charted in its English version, titled "Irresistible". It was a hit in West Germany, where it debuted at number 46 on 14 April 1986, jumped to number eight the next week, reached number two for two weeks and counted 18 weeks on the chart. In addition, it peaked at number two in Spain, was a top five hit in Austria, but stalled at number 84 in the UK.
On the overall Eurochart Hot 100, it debuted at number 95, then jumped to number 11 and reached number two after 13 weeks on the chart, being blocked from the number one slot by Madonna's "Live to Tell", and remained on the chart for 29 weeks, 17 of them in top ten. Much played on radios, it reached number three for a consecutive three weeks on the European Airplay Top 50, spending eight weeks in the top ten out of a 15-week chart run.

After a twenty-nine year hiatus, Steve Grimmett’s Grim Reaper is back with release! Known as Grim Reaper at their first decade (1979 - 1989), band split up in 1989. Vocalist Steve Grimmett resurrected the name in 2006, as Steve Grimmett's Grim Reaper, with the members of his solo band, Steve Grimmett.
Containing twelve songs, "Walking In The Shadows" has a familiar, yet creative, catchy riffage with the semi typical sounding lyrics and vocals of a style that influenced others to come after Grim Reaper. This in mind, there is definitely a ’80s vibe to the music, even though it is 2016, and this does not prove to be a negative trait. Furthermore, for a band with such a dark name, the music does not quite reflect that as much as the lyrics do, but that is all part of the fun.
Fans of Steve Grimmett’s Grim Reaper and followers of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal scene are sure to take away a nostalgic and joyous feeling after subjecting themselves to the highs and lows on "Walking In The Shadows". It is an album full of that classic and slightly Power Metal riff-heavy sound that is an integral part of the making of New Wave of British Heavy Metal
Steve Grimmett’s Grim Reaper remain a stalwart pillar of playing to the roots of their craft and loving every minute they are allowed to do what they do best: Rock the Hell out! The sixth full-length album by the legendary American guitarist-virtuoso.
After the disastrous full-band Heavy Metal project of Sex & Religion, Steve Vai returned to recording solo with "Alien Love Secrets". It's a moodier, more atmospheric collection than his masterpiece, "Passion And Warfare", which makes it slightly revelatory. With the new sonic textures, the guitarist again demonstrates his fluid technique, which manages to never become completely mechanical. Considered by musician as EP, really this if full-length album.
Steve Vai: "The recording and release of "Alien Love Secrets" marked another turning point in my personal evolution. I felt independent again and immensely happy. I was more concerned with making the record that I wanted to make, and not worry about what some others thought I should be doing. It also marked the beginning of the professional relationship with my current manager, Ruta Sepetys. She is everything that you would never expect in the typical music biz manager. She is honest, driven, sincere, shrewd and compassionate all rolled into a powerful yet unassuming beautiful blond-haired frame".
Overall, this was a very interesting album for Steve Vai. Some tracks ("Bad Horsie", "Ya-Yo Gakk") are really out there in terms of the guitar effects and other... effects, while another is normal ("Die to Live"). Still another is in the Metal genre ("Kill the Guy with the Ball") while the other two are great ballads ("The Boy from Seattle", "Tender Surrender"). It just goes to show you how versatile and creative this man is. There's something for everyone on the CD!!
The album reached No. 125 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and remained on that chart for two weeks, as well as reaching No. 72 on the Dutch albums chart.

The fourth full-length studio album by German Brutal Death Metal/Deathcore band.
During their fifteen years of existing, Stillbirth has created a unique style that gives them a distinct sound. Listening to the album "Global Error" for the first time, you'll immediately thought of a Cephalic Carnage band. The reason of the association is not related with the similarity of these bands: contrary, the music of Stillbirth is quite individual. The analogy can be traced only in terms of the presence of a variety of musical experiments.
What connects all the tracks of the album: the presence of Technical Death, growling, pigging and menacing vocals, also the adding of Slamming, Brutal, slowly shakes - in the style of Devourment. Of course, it should be noted German style - there are some influences of other German bands. The sound and mixing are on the height, everything is done competently and skillfully.
Experiments of these guys lead to unexpected results. For example, recitation, like a Rap (in the spirit of "Fred Durst" of Limp Bizkit) at the end of the track "Open Up This Fucking Pit" is listened naturally and does not spoil the song, but only adds to it originality. 
The musicians do not skimp on the original guitar riffs, the album is not boring, and it holds throughout the entire listening, it catches. Twelve songs full of brutal, heavy riffs, extreme blasts and breaks awaits you! Brilliant sound and a 12 pages booklet featuring the artwork of Mottla is the result!!

Debut full-length album by Canadian Heavy Metal band.
It's amazing when local underground bands creating and writing new original material and not just slogging it out on the local bar scene doing covers. To create an independent debut album takes time, hard-work and commitment, characteristics that are sometimes hard to come by, let alone trying to pay for the thing. It’s guys like Stinger that keep the scene going.
Take a heavy dose of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, mix it with the vocals of Chuck Billy during "Practice What You Preach", inject it with a Heavy 90s atmosphere, throw in a bit of Thrash, and shove some classic solos up its ass. And what you get is Stinger’s debut masterpiece, "Manic Depressor"!
The well-produced, eleven cuts span just under an hour of good time head-banging fun. Musically, Stinger spans a number of sounds with ease and proficiency. It’s not just a retro sound but the tone is a bit more modern at times. All those dissimilar styles blend nicely into something quite unique. There are a few slower moments, like the middle section of "Harmantra" that bleeds into some excellent soloing. Literally every single track is a magnificent example of excellent songwriting, tight musicianship and fantastic awesomeness.
This is a confident, mature debut album that will turn a few heads.  This is really masterpiece! If you’re a fan of good music, you won’t regret it!!
