Second German-language album issued by teen Pop/Rock phenomenon Tokio Hotel. Although the members of the band hadn't yet reached their twenties by the time they were recording "Zimmer 483", they were already full-on European superstars. "Zimmer 483" benefited strongly from the fact that, in the two years since their first record, "Schrei", Tokio Hotel toured relentlessly, as the second album found their melodic Pop-Punk Rock performed with a convincing energy and a clear sense of a stronger connection between band members.
The album yielded four singles including "Übers Ende der Welt", "Spring nicht" and "An deiner Seite (Ich bin da)". In contrast to other Tokio Hotel releases, "Zimmer 483" has proven to be the most reliable when it comes to sales, with over 375000 copies sold in just two months. The third full-length album by Italian Power/Neoclassical Metal band.
Bearing the name of a famous 17th century classical composer, and hailing from roughly the same region in Italy, Tommaso Vitali does not disappoint, as he is a virtuoso with the guitar, up to the talent of the aforementioned legends, if not exceeding.
The album opens on the title song, "Indivisible", which eases the listener into the album with a generic intro, making a sharp turn into brave originality about 45 seconds in. The song definitely grabs the attention and raises the expectations for the rest of the album. Very prominent guitars and vocals carry the song, however often overshadowing the very pleasant drumming. Carsten Schulz does a lovely job carrying the vocal duties. The backing vocals on the track add great depth, and combined with the tempo of the drums, constitute to creating the perfect opener for the album. "The Lodge" opens with an organ, immediately raising very pleasant associations with one of Hammerfall's songs, namely "Between Two Worlds". However, that's where the similarities end, as "The Lodge" is not a soft and melancholic ballad, but a pounding Metal epic with great heavy guitars and exceptionally pleasant vocals by Apollo Papathanasio, whose style of singing immediately transported us back to 1975, when Ronnie Dio left his mark on the legendary titular album for Rainbow.
"Duel" is an instrumental, and it's really classic similar to Manowar's "Today is a Good Day to Die". "Macabradanza" is a chemical perfection of so many distinct elements, that Tommy masterfully juggles with and manages to mix in an amazing melody and strong presence, further enhanced by the brilliant vocals of Roberto Tiranti and Chiara Manese. An amazing and memorable song with operatic elements and beautifully complementing voices. "Forever Lost" is slow and beautiful acoustic ballad, brilliant and emotional.
"Wings of Doom" is a typical fast Power Metal song, also heavily dominated by guitars, this time remembering early Rhapsody Of Fire. "Coraline" is a uniquely beautiful song, seemingly inspired by "Phantom of the Opera", among others. The song is rich and complex, moody like an Avantasia track, brilliantly performed by Jan Manenti, eerie, emotional and soaring - a true masterpiece, and the second song on this album after "Macabradanza" that any band would be proud to have. "La Bestia" is another instrumental, this time slower and more atmospheric at start, and more rhythmic and energetic later on, definitely giving off more pleasant vibes than "Duel". "Sinner" is a fast and hard Power Metal track, bearing the familiar voice of Fabio Lione. The final track on the album, "Joan of Arc", is an anthem for our favorite badass woman of history. Again, a very pleasant song, with just the right proportions of fast, epic, hard, and melodic. The back vocals reminds of 90's Iced Earth, while the very beginning bought to another great song - WASP's "Widowmaker". After an emotional mid-section, the song is very rhythmic and captivating.
"Indivisible" definitely is a very rich, very solid and complete release, that beams with inspiration, energy, complexity and emotion. "Indivisible", "Macabradanza" and "Coraline" are the high points of the album; they far surpass the quality of material we have come to expect from some previously legendary bands. The album plays around familiar Neoclassical and Symphonic Power Metal, and develops a new meaning, utilizing the talents of a small army of guest vocalists, each performing admirably!

The debut full-length album by Singaporean Thrash Metal band.
Old-school all-female band in vein of Sodom, early Kreator, and early Sepultura! Raw, harsh, fast, no frills!!
Active since 2006, now in 2014 we get their debut album that crosses a lot of Punk/Hardcore ethics with a savage Thrash style that is more European based than Bay Area oriented. Kreator, Sodom and others in that raw, mid 80’s Thrash mold come up frequently when taking in songs such as “Seven Feet Under”, the “Raining Blood” – like “Denied” or Crossover quickie “Materialistic War”. Neezie as a vocalist is not going to hit any Operatic or serene singing elements – her voice is very brutal, savage, and in line with the musical template her fellow musicians portray. The vocals are more along the lines of Max Cavalera‘s on Sepultura’s "Bestial Devastation" EP rather than later albums – quite guttural. Alongside a smattering of fairly predictable, though enjoyable, songs are a couple of absolute pearls: “Trash & Torment”, “Infinite Oneness”, “Why” and cover of Kreator’s “Tormentor” is a great homage to the original.
If you can’t get enough of Crossover Thrash, this could be a decent pick up. If there weren’t enough quality Thrash albums produced in the 80’s for you, then this will help make up the numbers!!

The ninth full-length studio album by Czech Death Metal band.
Tortharry are one of the longest running Czech Metal bands, founded back 1991, and almost iconic stalwarts of the Czech Death Metal scene. Their popularity in this country and abroad is based on their clearly defined style, their way above average musicianship, and on their undying enthusiasm for gigging and songwriting. 
They played a lot of live shows on the worldwide festivals and club stages and tours a lot, including gigs with the phenomenal cult band Death, the Brazilian icon Sepultura, as well as a South American tour with Gorgoroth and Belphegor.
Five years since the release of the “Follow” album, during band's 25th anniversary, one of the leading Brutal Death Metal bands from the Czech Republic reaching another milestone and opening a new chapter of its history.

Second full-length album by Italian Thrash/Death Metal band.
Italy along with its neighboring countries, has become the new breed of quality Thrash Metal bands, like Irreverence, Blindeath, Sofisticator, etc. “The Pound Of Flesh” is a very 2015 style album, but is good enough to please even the Old School Thrash Metal conservatives.
Like many other modern Thrash Metal bands, Total Death depends heavily on the dream beats to sync the loudness with the guitars, which works really well, and great credit has to go to the man behind the drum kit - Alessandra Mossi. The band uses tempo building beautifully. The complex technical riffs demand more attention from the listener as many riffs are hard to comprehend and air-guitar to, and stretch the boundaries of Technical Thrash Metal, something not often off late. The picking and shredding is top notch and impeccable.
The music in this album tells that the band has been heavily influenced by Technical Death Metal and has tried to implement it here and has tried to make it sound like Thrash Metal, which they have nearly succeeded. The bass is excellently used and works great with the guitars. The dirty thick vocals of Paolo Azzimonti (who is also one of the two guitarists) is great on the ears.
The ability to bring both mid temp and high tempo together and shower it with plethora of crazy technical Thrash riffs make “The Pound Of Flesh” stand out among the crowd. While the album isn’t anything close to a classic, but this style of Thrash Metal becoming a trend, and this is actually good, for connoisseurs of riff based Thrash! This band can easily be the future face of Thrash Metal!!

Third full-length album by Norwegian Symphonic Gothic/Black Metal band.
The previous TRAIL OF TEARS album "Profoundemonium" was accompanied by much negativity, with female vocalist Helena Iren Michaelsen as the centre of these disturbances. Now they are back with a vengeance, having found Cathrine Paulsen to take care of the vocal duties along with Ronny Thorsen. The result has been called "A New Dimension Of Might". And result sounds angry! Compared to their previous album they have gained a lot of aggression in their music, sometimes sounding more like Black Metal than their previous Dark Gothic Metal categorisation. However, they have not entirely thrown away their old concepts, but rather added a new twist to their sound. And hey, it worked!

Trio from the Balearic Islands, more precisely from the city of Palma de Mallorca. A band that has been playing an energetic and elaborate classic Thrash Metal, strongly influenced by the sound of the old Metallica, Overkill, old Megadetu, Testament, Heathen and the essence of the San Francisco Bay Area scene, plus some elements of European Thrash Metal in the vein of Kreator.
The influence of the band by Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield overflies from time to time, so no surprise when that Trallery began his career as a Metallica tribute band, which played under the name of White Shadow.
Beautiful harmonies and guitar solos by Biel Gayà that remind a little of Megadeth's "Rust in Peace" golden era combined with catchy riffs from the Bay Area's school, combining acute yells with rotten voices, noticing the influence of the current sound of Kreator. Interesting marshes and changes of rhythm, where the drummer Sebas Barceló shines, various technical shades. Catchy, melodic stuff, with Heavy Metal vibe, with memorable backing vocals and slow passages of very good musical taste.
Trallery has a promising career ahead, besides his debut with this exceptional "Catalepsy", they was the Spanish representatives in the of the Wacken Open Air festival in Germany, after winning in their country the "Metal Battle Spain 2013". If you like good classic Thrash Metal, do not miss this album!!

The debut full-length album by Italian Thrash Metal band.
Modern Thrash Metal to the American way, with studied melodies and Groove to burn.
The band was born in 2008 and create an original and personal sound that they called “Stun Metal”.
Tony De Marco utilizes a fairly harsh vocal style, somewhere in between the typical Thrash vocals and a Death growl, but not quite one or the other. On a couple of songs (most notably the opener), he makes a sort of grunt sound at the end of sentences, similar to what Disturbed frontman David Draiman often does, which adds a bit of fun and energy. He even does clean vocals once in a while, and he’s surprisingly good at them.
The album was welcomed with great enthusiasm by most critics in the European Metal industry and declared as one of the best Metal albums of 2012.
New take on Thrash Metal with aggressive duality to the vocals, some blast beats and some serious Groove. Those who enjoy this slower, more crushing kind of Thrash Metal could find some enjoyment here!

The Swiss have developed a solid album with their second official disc, which counts as cult release in some countries.
The CD starts with the opener "Suicide Queen”, great and very catchy song, exact like "Don’t Give it Up” and the half ballad "New Generation”. "Need my Number” really wakes memories and blows up party atmosphere; here you have created a damn ace catchy tune without doubt, excellent! "Mr. Big Blow” rocks off mighty, cool hookline. It goes along with the AOR banger „Can’t Hide”, which let the shack cook.
Essential, Transit have done everything right on “Heartcore” and nevertheless they never made it to a big public degree in Switzerland. Sure, the band was an idea at the real Hard Rock fans, but this doesn’t reach wide in Switzerland and the whole big success stayed out.
“Heartcore” lives of the shaking sound, which goes under the skin. Catch it, you determine no mistake, fresh Melodic Metal/Hard Rock from Swiss hand, which you should right honor today!!

The sixth full-length album by the cult American Metalcore band.
With this album, Trivium opted to go for a more direct, stripped down approach. Some people find David Draiman’s influence on the album to be disturbing (that pun was worth it), however, the big picture is Draiman did a damn good job with the production of this album and he really helped Matt Heafy improve his vocals and as a result, there is more singing on this record than the previous Trivium records.
The actual album aims to appeal to a wider range of people, yet it’s not a sellout by any means. Trivium is a risk-taking band; they experiment with their sound and deliver a unique experience with each new album. People complain that this one sounds strangely like Disturbed meets Trivium, but in real it does have a more Alternative Metal approach in some of the riffing, but at the core of the sound, it’s still 100% Trivium. Tracks like “Strife” and “No Way to Heal” are classic Trivium songs all the way while “Brave This Storm” and the title track have that Alternative Metal vibe mixed in with Trivium’s sound.
Leads and solos are very well done and very effective. In fact, “Strife” and “No Way to Heal” have some killer lead guitar parts and feature some of the album’s best solos. “Wake” is a great ending to the album and showcases Matt’s lower vocal range. That being said there are some fantastic standout tracks to be found here. “Strife” is a fantastic song and it’s amazing live! “No Way to Heal” is the heaviest song on the record by far and would be a great live song. “Wake (The End is Nigh)” is an amazing closer and it shows musical growth for the band.
The riffs may not be as complex as they once were and Matt may not be screaming as much as before, but everything that made it onto this record is strong, quality material. And while this does sound like Trivium meets Disturbed, everything on this record is still way more complex than Disturbed has ever been. If you enjoyed "In Waves", then you’ll likely enjoy this album!
It is the last album to feature second drummer Nick Augusto before he had departed from the band in May 2014.
The album debuted at No. 27 on the Billboard 200 albums chart on its release, selling 15 000 copies in the United States in its first week. It also debuted at No. 6 on Billboard's Top Rock Albums, and No. 2 on Hard Rock Albums. The album has sold 69 000 copies in the United States as of September 2015.
