European Edition of the fourth full-length studio album by Colombian Symphonic Folk Death Metal band.
Taken from Latin, the name of the band can be translated as "Life in Death", having death as the fundamental concept in the construction of its aesthetic, lyrical and symbolic proposal. The band perform what they call ethnic Black Death Metal, incorporating pre-Hispanic Folk sounds typical of South America such as pan flutes (toyo, sampoña, antara), quena and quenacho.
A distinctive mixture of dark, heavy, symphonic and ritualistic music. With such a rich mixture of elements, it’s simply amazing that Vitam Et Mortem manage to put it all together to make such a thrilling and competent sounding record. A real gem for every fun of Extreme Metal!
