The debut full-length studio album by Princess Stéphanie Marie Elisabeth of Monaco.
The album was released in September 1986, incorporating Dance-Pop, Synth-Pop, Dance and Pop music.  In some countries, it was released as "Live Your Life", or simply "Stephanie". All versions include the same 9 core tracks, but track sequence varies and different combinations of French/English versions are included. CD's also include remixes. Later CD re-releases were retitled ("L'Album D'Or", "Rendez-Vous", "Irresistible", "Ouragan", "Dance With Me") but include the same tracks as the original 1986 CD's.
"Besoin" reached number six at the French Albums Chart and the Swedish Albums Chart, number twelve at the German Albums Chart, and number 59 at the Austrian Albums Chart. It reportedly sold in approximately 1.5 million units, and achieved Gold status in France for over 100 000 units.
Despite the success of "Besoin", Stéphanie did not make a follow-up for five years until the release of the second album, "Stephanie", in 1991.

A concept album, is a fictional account of Chicago's Paradise Theatre from its opening in 1928 to its closing in 1956 (and subsequent demolition), used as a metaphor for America's changing times from the late 1970s into the 1980s.
Four Singles from the album charted on various charts, with two songs reaching the top 10 pop singles chart. The lead Single, "The Best of Times", went to #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. "Too Much Time on My Hands" went to #9 on the Billboard Hot 100. "Nothing Ever Goes as Planned" went to #54 on the US Pop Chart. "Rockin' the Paradise" went to #8 on the Top Rock Track Chart.
Initial vinyl copies of the album have a design featuring the name of the band laser-etched directly onto the vinyl on side 2 (some copies had a wax design of the cover art). The vinyl record sleeve was a gatefold and was painted by artist Chris Hopkins.

The fifth full-length studio album by legendary American Hard Rock/Soft Rock singer.
"If You Knew Suzi…" is a Quatro's highest-charting album in the United States (it peaked at number 37 on The Billboard 200). The tracks were recorded in Cologne (Germany), Paris (France), and Glendale (California), and then mixed in California and mastered in London, to be distributed by a company based in New York City.
The US and Canadian pressing of the album omitted the Vanda and Young-penned song "Evie", and included "Stumblin' In" (a duet with Chris Norman) in its replacement. "Stumblin' In" was the biggest US single hit, which reached number 4 in both, The Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts. It also had an advertising billboard on Sunset Boulevard.

The first compilation album by cult British Pop-Rock band.
With a voice that was perfect for AOR, John Waite and his band The Babys shared the airwaves with groups like Journey and Foreigner in the late '70s and early '80s. His Rock-tender vocals accompanied electric guitar and ample keyboards, resulting in some appealing yet not overly flamboyant music.
“Anthology" spans the years 1976–1980 of The Babys, and brings together ten of this band's best songs in a short but concise Greatest Hits collection. All three of their charted songs are here, including "Isn't It Time" and "Every Time I Think of You", which both peaked at number 13 in 1977 and the latter again two years afterwards. "Back on My Feet Again" also broke the Top 40, hitting number 33 for three weeks in 1980. Each of their five albums are represented on this hits package, and the inclusion of Jonathan Cain on keyboards for 1980s "Back on My Feet Again" greatly enhanced their music, adding some texture and dimension. The song "Money" had not appeared on any The Babys album.
Cain, who replaced Mike Corby and bass player Rick Phillips, went on to play with San Francisco's Journey, where his keyboard artistry was better utilized. Although the songs are simply arranged and the lyrics are plain, there is still some music worth hearing among this set, such as the previously unreleased "Money" and the honest sounding "If You've Got the Time." "Turn and Walk Away" has some smooth background singing from Anne Marie Leclerc, and "Head First" is a catchy tune with Waite showing off his clean voice.
Even though John Waite had greater success as a solo artist, hitting number one with "Missing You" in 1984, his work with The Babys showcases his talents within a band atmosphere.
The album charted at number 138 on the Billboard 200.

In 1984, a 45-year-old Tina Turner made one of the most amazing comebacks in the history of American Popular music. A few years earlier, it was hard to imagine the veteran Soul/Rock belter reinventing herself and returning to the top of the Pop charts.
After several challenging years of going solo after divorcing Ike Turner, "Private Dancer" propelled Turner into becoming a viable solo star, as well as one of the most marketable crossover singers in the recording industry.
A reflection on the emptiness of a stripper's life, the dusky title song is as poignant as it is depressing. Without question, this was Turner's finest hour as a solo artist.
"Private Dancer" became a worldwide commercial success, earning multi-platinum certifications, and remains her best-selling album in North America to date. In 1989, the album was ranked number 46 on Rolling Stone Magazine's list of "The 100 Greatest Albums of the '80s". In 2001, VH1 named "Private Dancer" the 95th greatest album of all time. Slant Magazine listed the album at number 63 on its list of "Best Albums of the 1980s". In 2020, the album was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the National Recording Registry for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".

The album is compiled of live performances made between 1985 and 1987, the majority of which are from Turner's "Break Every Rule World Tour", but also from the 1985 "Private Dancer Tour", as well as the 1986 "Tina Turner: Break Every Rule" HBO special recorded in London at the Camden Palace (now Koko), masquerading as Le Club Zero in Paris, also released on video.
Five Singles were released from "Tina Live In Europe": "Nutbush City Limits", a cover of Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love", "Tonight" with David Bowie, "A Change Is Gonna Come" and "634–5789" with Robert Cray. The most successful being "Addicted to Love", which has since become a mainstay in Turner's live repertoire and was later included on the European editions of her 1991 hits compilation "Simply The Best".
In 1989, "Break Every Rule"  won a Grammy Award for "Best Female Rock Vocal Performance".

The debut full-length studio album by legendary American Funk/Soul singer.
Released while Turner was still a member of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue, the album was an attempt by her husband, Ike Turner, to expose her to a wider audience. Although the album did not chart, it earned Turner a nomination in the "Best R&B Vocal Performance, Female" category at the 17th Annual Grammy Awards.
Fine mix of Country, Folky and Soft Rock tunes done in Tina's inimitable style. On this effort, she flexes her voice from its softest to its usual rough tone and moulds it perfectly around each cut. Drawing from a wide range of composers from Dylan to Dolly Parton to Kris Kristofferson to Hank Snow, ms. Turner should gain easy Soul and Pop play and possibly some Country play. Surprisingly effective are the slow cuts, and Tina proves just as adept an interpreter of other's material as she is a singer of original songs.
"Tina Turns The Country On!" remains unreleased on CD.
