The first full-length release in six years for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Californians have fired up the airwaves once again with the release of "Unlimited Love". A band that loves to jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers is known for experimenting with Alternative, Punk, Funk and Psychedelic Rock.
"Unlimited Love" is one of the testiest and unique albums to date from Red Hot Chili Peppers. It stays unfailingly true to their roots while simultaneously branching out to enhance what has already been solidified. There is an addicting hook to this album that leaves a thirst factor to want Red Hot Chili Peppers to release a follow-up, just for the sake of giving the listeners more. This album does not disappoint and leaves hope of the future for this iconic band.
The album features the return of producer Rick Rubin, who was absent from "The Getaway" (2016), and guitarist John Frusciante, who left in 2009 and rejoined in 2019, replacing Josh Klinghoffer.
The first Single, "Black Summer", became the Chili Peppers' fourteenth number one on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart.
"Unlimited Love" made its debut at number one in 16 different countries, including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Canada, Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Scotland, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States. In its home country of the United States, "Unlimited Love" was the band's second number one on the Billboard 200, and the first since 2006's "Stadium Arcadium" album, selling 97 500 equivalent album units. The sales for "Unlimited Love" were boosted by various vinyl variants and Special Editions of the album. The album sold 38 500 copies on vinyl, which were the largest sales week for an album on vinyl in 2022 and the second-largest sales week for a Rock album since 1991. In the United Kingdom, "Unlimited Love" debuted at number one, becoming the band's first chart-topper in eleven years since 2011's "I'm With You". "Unlimited Love" sold 27 426 units in its first week, 20 989 of which came from physical formats. Digitally, the album sold 2 315 downloads and streamed 4 122 album-equivalent units.

The fifth full-length studio album, and the second Christmas album, by the solo-project of legendary British Heavy Metal vocalist, singer of Judas Priest.
Released ten years after "3: Winter Songs", beside of the band's members this successor collection includes members of Rob Halford's family and his friends, and was released under the band's name Rob Halford With Family & Friends instead of Halford.
The album features Metallized Christmas carols and traditional holiday tunes, and a few Halford originals in the holiday vein, recorded specially for this project: "Celestial", "Donner And Blitzen", "Morning Star", and "Protected By The Light".
"God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen", "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing", "Joy To The World", and others get the full-on Judas Priest treatment, complete with chugging guitars, guitar whiz solos, and cowbell keeping time in tandem with sleigh bells.
"Celestial" is a fun reimagining of holiday and Metalhead traditions alike. Combine Halford’s voice, family and friends, the sound of classic Heavy Metal and Christmas, and you have a recipe for greatness, which is pretty much what "Celestial" is!

The first re-release of the seventh full-length studio album by cult Czech Epic Heavy/Black Metal band.
From their beginnings as a very first-wave Black Metal act to their mutation into something Dark, Epic, and beyond easy categorization, this is a proper legendary act that carved their own dark path and basically founded the Czech Black Metal scene along with Master's Hammer, and it's impossible to understand the region's Metal scene without knowing something about them. Despite all the prestige and historical significance, most fans would agree that the band started to sort of fall apart, with longtime guitarist Blackhosh leaving after the divisive "Madness Of The Grave" and the band sort of falling victim to Big Boss' weirder musical ideas without anyone to help refine them into anything that wasn't either derivative of past glories or just indescribably baffling and awful. What's also agreed upon is that this album was the last release of their golden age, and the fact that, like most of the albums that came before it, it's an unparalleled masterwork.
Trying to describe Root to the uninitiated is like describing the true nature of hell to the godless, as their black metal base is so primordial and their later epic leanings so unique to them that the only meaningful way to discuss their albums is in comparison to one another. With that in mind, "Black Seal" is easily their darkest and most menacing work, with the direct numbers being the heaviest they've done and the more esoteric and mystical songs being the most absorbing and powerful to date. The former is made obvious with the album opener "Festival of Destruction", an incendiary track that stands as the best song they ever wrote with crushing riffs, Big Boss' powerful operatic bass, and a layered, hypnotic chorus unlike anything they'd ever done up to that point. The latter comes immediately after with the magical, almost waltz-like "The Incantation of Thessalonian Women", which displays odd, moody arrangements and a mix of soft croons with powerful blackened roars. To describe any other songs would be to rob this work of the surprises it has in every corner, but know that despite the final track being only six minutes of music and the remaining thirteen being dedicated to repeating the chorus while gradually pushing it back in the mix until it ends with silence, there's not a moment on here that isn't startling, haunting, and masterful to various extents.
As a unit, the band themselves has ever been tighter and more inspired. Blackhosh churns out his very best work with riffs that rise, blaze, and spit like the flames of hell itself and leads that wail and soar over it all like the cries of the eternally damned. Igor's bass work has never been heavier than it has here, and Evil's drumming gives this momentum and aggression it otherwise would not have had. Of course, when discussing Root, you have to talk about the all-powerful voice of frontman Big Boss, who went ahead and decided to give his best performance and one of the greatest ever heard in Metal at the ripe old age of fifty, with his commanding singing voice displaying more versatility, power, and style than before and his blackened bellows and roars sounding more evil and frightening than ever, perhaps more so than any vocalist in the style has ever done since.
This is the band's best album overall. They'd never again show a comparable command of their unique, arcane songwriting, and even compared to their other masterworks, there's a maturity, depth, and power to be found here that their other albums have, and we cannot imagine a better bookend to an unequalled run of unique genius from one of the best bands to ever do it. An album without flaws from a band without peers!

S.D.I. kicks devil’s ass since 1986! In their "first life", the Osnabrück trio released three albums until 1989, which went down in Metal history.
In the beginning with fast, loud, silly and dirty "Satans Defloration Incorporated", they developed with the albums "Sign Of The Wicked" (1987) and "Mistreated" (1989) a varied, very musical Speed Metal sound, which makes them unmistakable as their own brand. With "Megamosh" they also created a Speed Metal anthem that put them on turntables worldwide.
SDI played stages all over Europe before taking a short break… which would last 27 years. Reunited in 2014, they toured Europe and Asia until January 2020, when the album "80s Metal Band" was released, seamlessly continuing the spirit of their first three albums.

S.D.I. kicks devil’s ass since 1986! In their "first life", the Osnabrück trio released three albums until 1989, which went down in Metal history.
In the beginning with fast, loud, silly and dirty "Satans Defloration Incorporated", they developed with the albums "Sign Of The Wicked" (1987) and "Mistreated" (1989) a varied, very musical Speed Metal sound, which makes them unmistakable as their own brand. With "Megamosh" they also created a Speed Metal anthem that put them on turntables worldwide.
SDI played stages all over Europe before taking a short break… which would last 27 years. Reunited in 2014, they toured Europe and Asia until January 2020, when the album "80s Metal Band" was released, seamlessly continuing the spirit of their first three albums.

The second re-release of the second full-length album by legendary German Speed/Thrash Metal band.
S.D.I.'s debut surprisingly generated a huge cult following mostly due to the definitive love song "I Wanna Fu*k You!", ironically the weakest track on the album and overall one of the band's lesser achievements. Two years later the boys have grown considerably as musicians to the point that the listener may find it hard to believe that this was the same trio who was behind the naive inspired self-titled bash two years earlier. This is so much more advanced that the amazing transformation witnessed can almost be compared to the one experienced by their compatriots Deathrow the same year.
The opener "Coming Again" alone is an encyclopedia of Metal, a Progressive Speed/Thrash piece second to none offering loads of rhythmic shifts and tempo-changes, not to mention the gorgeous bass implements: Reinhard Kruse is a bass virtuoso, the finest bass export from Germany after Helloween's Markus Grosskopf. The latter has also improved his vocal bravado quite a bit now covering a fairly wide range of pitches including several piercing screams, more or less appropriate. Yes, the aforementioned opener is too grandiose to be on Helloween's "Walls of Jericho", Blind Guardian's "Battalions of Fear", Exumer's "Possessed by Fire", Iron Angel's "Winds of War", or even on Paradox's "Heresy"...
The title-track which follows is a total contrast to the brilliant blend of speed and melody encountered before it: it's 3-min of doomy genius, a rousing hymn with another great chorus.
"The Megamosh" is praised in the number of the same title, a pretty straightforward Speedster, the only track which has any ties to the debut music-wise.
Another praiser, this time of our favourite alcohol, logically titled "Alcohol", arrives right after , an entertaining Speed/Thrashing roller-coaster with the staple sing-along chorus and a few nice rhythmic shifts; it would make even the Tankard guys empty their tankards immediately; "Bottoms up!".
"Quick Shot" is the apparent sequel text-wise to "I Wanna..." with a girl moaning throughout, but in the music department we have a far superior Speed/Thrasher with standout bass performance. 
"Always Youth" is still more on the more immediate side, an impetuous headbanger with a nice mid-bridge.
But comes "Long Way from Home" with the adventurous vocal exploits, the steel gallops, the hectic mid-break, the infectious sing-along deviation, and the sudden tempo shifts; blissful stuff contained within mere 3-min.
However, that is not all because soon is the listener exposed to "Killer's Confession", a hard-hitting Shredder with virtuoso lead sections and a breath-taking interlude in the middle followed by an exquisite semi-balladic passage where the interaction between the leads and the bass reaches heights unheard even on the Metallica opuses at the time...
All the way to the closing "Fight" which features the only unmitigated annoyance: a man recites something in Turkish, to these ears totally off-context, before the opening riff tears the ether and continues the vigorous Thrashing until a vitriolic lead section comes splashing later on superseded by a dreamy balladic break again with a somewhat questionable function; the final headbanging passage closes the album after that. Game over.
By far one of the ten best Speed/Thrash Metal releases in German Metal history, and probably worldwide, this album remains arguably the most criminally underrated effort from the European Metal Underground. It really hurts one to see that this talented trio are chiefly remembered for their debut and the love song from there when there was so much more, and much much better music, created less than two years later... Melody and speed have very seldom been blended so well by just three musicians with such a dexterous command of the instruments.
This album is so underrated, it's comparable to anything released by the big name German Speed Metal bands from around the same time, and better than a lot of them!!

As a result, the BBC added black bars around the image when the video was aired on Top Of The Pops in June 1988, effectively cropping it into widescreen. It remains one of the most downloaded video clips on the Internet.

The fourth Single by legendary Italian Italo Disco/Pop singer.
"Hot Girl"  was released by Baby Records in November 1987 as the debut album's fourth and final Single. After the enormous success with "Boys (Summertime Love)", the team around Sabrina's manager Menzione tried to score another international hit with a new Single. They chose "Hot Girl", a song from Sabrina's by-then-released first album, and had it remixed for the Single release.
"Hot Girl" was not intended to be marketed in the United Kingdom, as "Boys (Summertime Love)" was re-released in June 1988 after a commercial failure four months earlier, followed by "All of Me (Boy Oh Boy)" in October of the same year. In Continental Europe, it was released in two times: first in the last two months of 1987 in the majority of European countries, then in the first half of 1988 in Spain and France; as a consequence, on the Pan-European Hot 100 Singles chart established by the Music & Media magazine, its 23-week chart trajectory is divided into two segments with a two-month hiatus, including a peak at number 36 in its second week.
Although Sabrina heavily promoted the song (in a Spanish TV show, she danced in such an enthusiastic way that her breasts fell out of her top), the song did not match the success of "Boys (Summertime Love)". The song was a success in France, Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands where it was a top 20 hit.
Regarding the national charts, "Hot Girl" peaked within the top ten in Spain where it reached number two, being unable to dislodge Pet Shop Boys' "Always on My Mind" atop, the Flanders part of Belgium and Finland where it attained number six, and the Netherlands where it reached number ten twice. It was a top 20 hit in other three nations: France, where it debuted at number 28 and reached number 12 five weeks later, spending a total of 13 weeks in the top 50, Switzerland where it culminated at number 13, and Germany where it was present for 13 weeks on the national chart with a peak at number 19. In Sabrina's home-country, Italy, it missed the top 20 by one place, peaking at number 21 for two weeks.
