The debut full-length studio album by cult American Heavy Metal band.
Formed in 1981,  Melice are best known for their appearance on the first "Metal Massacre" compilation and the release of a pair of albums on Atlantic Records. Their heavily-European-influenced style elicited comparisons to Judas Priest.
After the initial Malice demo caused a stir and garnered label interest from Brian Slagel of Metal Blade Records, "Captive of Light" and "Kick You Down" from the demo were both selected to appear on "Metal Massacre I" alongside tracks by Metallica, Ratt, Steeler and others. Malice made their Los Angeles live debut in November 1982 at the Troubadour, headlining a bill with Metallica and Pandemonium as opening acts. Other memorable Los Angeles shows included opening up for then new major label signees Armored Saint at Perkins Palace in Pasadena, California, in early 1984.
Adding drummer Cliff Carothers, formerly with the bands Snow and Assassin, Malice set about recording new demos with producer Michael Wagener and soon found themselves in the midst of a label bidding war. Eventually, the band signed with Atlantic Records in mid 1984 and released their debut album, "In The Beginning...", in 1985. It consisted of songs the band had cut with Wagener and material recorded with Ashley Howe producing.

The fourth full-length studio album by cult British Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band.
In the wake of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal explosion of the early '80s, several bands attempted to blend in with the movement even though they formed long after such bands as Iron Maiden and Def Leppard began to enjoy success, one such band being a Hard Rockin' trio of brothers, the Mama's Boys. The trio hailed from Northern Ireland and consisted of Pat McManus (guitar, vocals), John McManus (bass), and Tommy McManus (drums). Later in their career they became a four-piece, adding Rick Chase on vocals in 1986, who in turn was replaced by Keith Murrell in 1987 due to Rick's ill health. Keith was later replaced with Connor McKeon in 1989 who was subsequently replaced with Mike Wilson in 1990. 
Mama's Boys recorded their first self-funded album, "Official Album" (re-released in 1981 as "Official Bootleg") in 1980 in only four hours. In 1981, they were invited to support Hawkwind on their UK tour. They recorded and self-financed their second album, entitled "Plug It In", in 1982, and achieved a Hit Single in Ireland with the most Pop-oriented song on the album, "Needle in the Groove". The third album, "Turn It Up", was released in 1983. The same year they toured with Thin Lizzy on that band's farewell tour, played at the Reading Rock Festival and signed a worldwide record deal with Jive Records.
Their fourth album, self-titled "Mama’s Boys", was their first album released on Jive, and contained some songs previously released on early albums but completely re-recorded with a few new songs. One of the new songs, a cover of Slade's "Mama Weer All Crazee Now", was released as a Single and reached number 54 in the American charts. The video for the song got a lot of airplay on MTV and helped the band to become known in the US, which they toured in 1984. Coincidentally, the American Heavy Metal band Quiet Riot also released their cover version of the song at the same time as Mama's Boys, but Quiet Riot's version gained more airplay.
1985's "Power And Passion" album broke into the Billboard top 100 in the US and the band toured in the US, Europe, and Japan. During the European leg of the tour, Tommy had a relapse of leukaemia which he had been treated for as a child and a replacement drummer Jimmy DeGrasso was brought in to complete the tour. The recovering Tommy re-joined the tour in Ireland, but had to be rushed back to hospital after another relapse.
In 1987, former Airrace vocalist Keith Murrell was brought in after Rick Chase started having trouble with his vocal cords, and they recorded the album "Growing Up The Hard Way". Murrell left in 1988 to join Cliff Richard as a backing singer. Connor McKeon replaced Keith in 1989, but this was short-lived, and he was replaced by Mike Wilson.
In 1990, with a new vocalist, Mike Wilson, and under new management, Mama's Boys moved their base to the UK. The live album, "Live Tonite", was released in 1991 and the band toured extensively in Europe. In 1992, the band released "Relativity" album. While on tour in Italy in 1993, Tommy became ill again and the tour had to be cancelled.
In 1994, Tommy McManus passed away after a long battle with leukaemia. Tommy underwent a bone marrow transplant, but he did not survive. His brothers were devastated, and Mama's Boys did not continue.
On the first anniversary of Tommy's death, John composed a traditional lament on the low whistle for his brother, and this led to himself and Pat revisiting their traditional Irish music roots and forming a Celtic/New Age band called Celtus.
In 2003, Pat McManus joined with Irish Rock band Indian for two albums and live shows. After this he joined the Painkillers for a short while, and then formed "Pat McManus and High Voltage" which in 2007 became the Pat McManus Band (with Marty McDermott on bass and Paul Faloon on drums). The Pat McManus Band released "Tattooed In Blue" in 2018, and an acoustic guitar based album called "Rewind" in 2019, alongside a European tour.

The third full-length studio album by legendary American Epic Heavy/Power Metal band.
Recorded just in six days, album perfectly demonstrates best aspects of "classical" era of the band. "Hail To England" received favorable reception among writers, critics, and music magazines and is considered one of the strongest albums from Manowar.Many fans still perceive this album as the best in the discography of the Manowar.
A tribute to their fan-base in the United Kingdom, the album was the first of Manowar's albums to chart, reaching No. 83 in the UK Albums Chart. In 2017, Rolling Stone Magazine ranked “Hail To England” as 87th on their list of “The 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time”. In 2019, Metal Hammer Magazine ranked it as the fourth-best Power Metal album.
A remixed and remastered "Imperial Edition' of the album was released in 2019, with the band stating that the revised version would add 'the depth, the power and the clarity that could not be present in the original mixes and masters".

Re-release of the first demo by legendary Swedish Blackened Death Metal band.
It was recorded and mixed at Gorysound Studios, and self-released by the band on pro-printed cassette in June 1991. On April 21, 1995, Osmose Productions officially released it on CD and 7" vinyl for the first time. Following its CD release, "Fuck Me Jesus" was banned in seven countries, due to its explicit cover art.
"Fuck Me Jesus" is a very Death Metal-sounding recording with a heavy and fat sound. The song structures are basically Death Metal as well, combining heavy riffs with hammering two-beats. What makes a difference are some occasional Grind parts, melodic guitars, and of course the hellish vocals of Andreas. Nastier and uglier than even most Death Metal at the time, "Fuck Me Jesus" firmly established Marduk's brand of unholiness with a vengeance. 
"Departure from the Mortals", "The Black…" and "Within the Abyss" were re-recorded for the band's 1992 debut full-length, "Dark Endless".
With its raspy scathing vocals, drums like thundering death and a guitar sound that vomits blackness, "Fuck Me Jesus" possesses a sound that has rarely been rivalled since. Not only is this a must-have for all Marduk fans, but true maniacs of the Underground Black/Death scene should revisit this classic!

Remastered re-release of the third full-length studio album by legendary Swedish Black Metal band.
The last Marduk album to feature Joakim Göthberg on vocals and Dan Swanö as mixer, "Opus Nocturne" also was the first album to showcase Marduk's signature hyper-speed blast beat tempo; however it still contained much of the melody from "Those Of The Unlight", while retaining this break-neck speed, instead of sheer brutality on albums like "Heaven Shall Burn… When We Are Gathered" and "Nightwing".
On "Opus Nocturne" a lot of effort has been made to make the material sound different. The sound, the length of most of the tracks (often exceeding 5 minutes), Joakim's vocals (less manic) and the proportions of brutality and climate (with a slight predominance of the latter) are different here. All these "novelties", however, blend well with the music and show another, slightly different face of the band. And most importantly, the "religious" Marduk was much better than the "war" one! The longer tracks, in particular, are interesting here, the most of which, were on the album, for example "The Sun Has Failed", "From Subterranean Throne Profund" or "Sulfur Souls". 
The sound, again made by Dan Swanö, is also great - raw and bitter, and at the same time clearly legible and without Black Metal "buzzing".
It all adds up to a great long play for Marduk, actually one of their best alongside the previous two. From the climate to the brutality, everything just on "Opus Nocturne" is correct! There is hardly any better compensation in this style.
"Materialized in Stone" was originally the title for the track "From the Dark Past" that appears on Mayhem's "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas". The title was changed by Per Yngve Ohlin before his death. Marduk later adopted the title for the song on this album. They had previously also used a song title by Ohlin on their album "Those Of The Unlight". This is considered a vague tribute to Per and his works.
In 2004, the album was remastered by the band's former member Devo Andersson and re-released by Regain Records. 
"Opus Nocturne" is another mandatory listen for any beginner getting into Extreme Black Metal. You won’t be disappointed with this fantastic record!

The second re-release of the eighth full-length studio album by legendary Swedish Black Metal band.
The first Marduk album to feature Emil Draguntinovic on drums, the last to feature Legion on vocals and B. War on bass, and the last to feature mixing by Peter Tägtgren.
Formed with the ambitious goal of becoming ‘the most brutal and blasphemous Metal act ever’, Marduk have sweat for over two decades to bring blood, darkness and an unrelentingly Extreme brand of Metal to the world, rightfully earning a place as one of Sweden’s most famous (or perhaps more accurately, infamous) Black Metal bands in the process. Unleashed at the very birth of the nineties, the band has continued to shed its skin, serpentine-like from album to album, each time revealing new layers, both subtle and stark, that have kept them at the forefront of the genre.
The track listing of the "World Funeral" is organized as to create a dynamic change of paces and atmospheres, the tracks generally alternating between a fast, slow, fast, etc. pattern. Balancing fast tracks with mid-paced tracks, it was a disappointment for fans expecting another head-to-toe fast album a la "Panzer Division Marduk". Many fans suggested the band was going for a more commercial "mainstream" approach, while others complimented their attempt to broaden their sound.
"World Funeral" is a very good Marduk album. It’s certainly not the very best due to one or two redundant songs, losing out to quite a few of the band's other albums, but is mostly an excellent representation of the band’s overall sound and definitely a worthy piece of work. It’s a good way for Legion to end his illustrious association with the band, being one of the highlights of his career, even though the entire band has something great to offer here.

Formed in 1990 and celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2020, Marduk are not only one of the most long-running and respected Black Metal acts out there, but also one of the most productive. The first re-release of the fifth full-length studio album by legendary American/Czech Death Metal band.
Paul Speckmann played a key role in the Death Metal formative years, with bands like Terrorizer and Entombed acknowledging him and Master as a major influence. And both Master’s first effort and the one and only Deathstrike album could be considered classics even today, thanks to their intensity and to a simple but effective songwriting style.
Master have never played Death Metal in the pure sense of the term, rather a form of down tuned heavy Thrash, and this style is to be found again here. “Let’s Start A War” has turned out to be a solid and good-class disc containing guitar-heavy Death Metal that has a little more to offer besides aggressiveness. If you can’t imagine what that is, Master can best be described as a mixture between Crowbar and Bold Thrower. “Dictators” rekindle with the glorious Deathstrike days, while “Cast One Vote”, “American Freedom” and especially “Disturbed” clearly sound like classic Master tracks. Lyrically, Paul Speckmann continues with his anti-American crusade.
Legendary Old-school Death Metal veteran Paul Speckmann returns with the re-release of Master’s “Let’s Start A War”. This remastered re-release includes completely new artwork, first time used on first CD re-release from 2012.

One of Death Metal’s founding bands, Master have been at the forefront of the style from the very beginning, being one of the first bands to ever adapt to this style back in the genre’s infancy. They have mastered what it means to produce high octane, ear drum bursting, unrelenting Death Metal once again. For the first time on Picture Disc, the fifth full-length studio album by American Progressive/Sludge Metal/Hard Rock band.
"The Hunter" is Mastodon's second non-concept album. Moreover, it's marks the first time that drummer Brann Dailor composes and sings a Mastodon song in its entirety ("Creature Lives"), and takes lead vocal duties on more than two songs. Like Mastodon's previous album "Crack The Skye", "The Hunter" features a mix of clean singing and a few songs with harsher shouting vocals.
On "The Hunter", Mastodon abandoned the Proggy, conceptual route taken on previous outings, choosing instead to mine the trailblazing, riff-heavy abandon of their 2004 masterpiece, "Leviathan". Mastodon's increasingly accessible sound may not land them a hit anytime soon, but cuts like “Black Tongue”, “Curl of the Burl” and “Balsteroid”, all of which arrive in sequence at the front of the set, show a willingness to write within the parameters of 21st century Pop music’s dark side. That’s not to say that the band has pulled its head out of the vastness of space, as there are more than enough tracks here to satisfy fans who prefer the Sludgy, drop-D epics of yore to the more organized roar of "The Hunter" 's front end. Fueled by Brãnn Dailor's Jazzy, machine-gun drumming, songs like “Octopus Has No Friends”, “All the Heavy Lifting” and “Bedazzled Fingernails”, despite coming in at under five minutes, are epically arranged, and the surprisingly hummable, bass melody-led swamp monster anthem “Creature Lives” sounds like a Sabbathy, Lovecraftian take on Jane’s Addiction's “Summertime Rolls”. The closest " The Hunter" comes to reaching an apex is on the breathless “Spectrelight”, a relentless three-minute slab of pure unadulterated fury that will probably clock in at around a minute and half live, but it’s an album that doesn’t really need to peak, as it never promises a thing it can’t back up, boldly and loudly.
The song "Spectrelight" features Neurosis vocalist/guitarist Scott Kelly as a guest. Guitarist Bill Kelliher provides lead vocals on the bonus track "Deathbound". "The Hunter" is their first release with producer Mike Elizondo.
In its first week of release in the UK, the album reached number 19 on the UK Albums Chart and position number 10 on the Billboard 200 chart selling over 39000 copies in the first week. As of December 2011, "The Hunter" has sold over 75133 copies in the United States.

"III Imagined" is a remix album of songs from McCartney "III", the 18th solo album by Paul McCartney. It features remixes by numerous artists, including: Beck, Dominic Fike, Khruangbin, St. Vincent, Dev Hynes, Phoebe Bridgers, Ed O'Brien, Damon Albarn, Josh Homme, Anderson .Paak, Robert Del Naja, and Idris Elba.
The tracks were curated by McCartney, featuring "friends, fans, and brand-new acquaintances". Dominic Fike's version of "The Kiss of Venus" was released as the first single, followed by Beck's version of "Find My Way" and EOB's version of "Slidin'".

Produced by Mustaine and Chris Rakestraw, it was released on frontman and guitarist Dave Mustaine's Tradecraft label via Universal Music Group. Prior to “Dystopia”'s recording, longtime drummer Shawn Drover and guitarist Chris Broderick announced their departure from the band.
Musically, "Dystopia" is more energetic and focused than anything Megadeth have released in quite a while. Following the lukewarm response to the band's previous album, 2013's “Super Collider”, “Dystopia” received largely favorable reaction from critics, being considered a return to form for the band. The album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 chart, making “Dystopia” the band's second highest charting album in the U.S. after “Countdown To Extinction”, which peaked at number two in 1992. Additionally, the title track earned the band its first Grammy win (for Best Metal Performance) at the 59th Grammy Awards after eleven unsuccessful nominations.
