With an unapologetic high-energy attack, The Hole bring forth a tasty, total assault on your ears with "A Monument To The End Of The World". It's refreshing to see that there are still bands lying in the Underground who produce a testament of crushing Metal such as is heard on the aforementioned title. The punishing quartet from the Canary Islands are prepared to grab you face-first and thrust you into a submissive fit of headbanging!
The combination of Death, Thrash, and Melodic Black Metal creates an exciting variety of aggressive styles in those songs and is present throughout the whole of the album. You have pulsating percussive blastbeats, reliable riffs, scintillating solos, and a steady time signature that appealed to my analytic brain. The vocals, though definitely harsh, did not seem repetitive, nor a rip-off of the style of another band in the same category. Everything about this album said "raw, fresh power", leaving no crowd in the imagery of mind without the urge to open up the f****ng pit!
Though energetic, there is an obvious tone of haunting nature concurrent with the theme of this album as one could surmise from the title. Everything is done perfectly from the production to the album cover. This album definitely serves as a fantastic "Monument To The End Of The World"!

The debut full-length studio album by legendary British Blues Rock/Hard Rock band.
It's the second studio album by English guitarist Jeff Beck, which was released in June 1969 by Epic Records in the United States and the following August by Columbia Records in the United Kingdom.
Jack Beck and his band released their first album, "Truth", during 1968 and by the end of the year drummer Micky Waller was replaced by Tony Newman, as Beck wanted to take the music in a heavier direction, and he viewed Waller as more of a finesse drummer in the style of Motown. Pianist Nicky Hopkins, who had also played on "Truth", was asked to join the band full-time for his work in the studio.
Recording sessions for the "Back-Ola" took place over six days in April 1969. Two covers of Elvis Presley tunes were chosen, "All Shook Up" and "Jailhouse Rock", as well as "Girl From Mill Valley", an instrumental by and prominently featuring Hopkins. The remaining four tracks consist of band originals, with the instrumental "Rice Pudding" ending the album dramatically cold.
Following the sessions for this album, the Jeff Beck Group toured the United States. They were scheduled to play Woodstock and are listed on posters promoting the festival, but by then internal friction had reached the breaking point and both Ronnie Wood and Rod Stewart were out of the band. Stewart and Wood would form the Faces with members of the Small Faces in 1969, while Hopkins played Woodstock with Jefferson Airplane, joined Quicksilver Messenger Service, and toured the world with the Rolling Stones in 1971, 1972 and 1973. Beck himself would be out of action by December due to an automobile accident.
The album peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard 200, and at No. 39 on the UK Albums Chart. The album's title puns on the name of the Rock-Ola jukebox company.
Although a short album at half an hour, it is regarded, along with its predecessor, as a seminal work of Heavy Metal due to its use of Blues toward a Hard Rock approach and the squaring off of Beck's guitar against Stewart's vocals, duplicated the same year by Beck's good friend Jimmy Page with his singer Robert Plant in Led Zeppelin.

The only one album by Kim Larsen's band. The Loveless were made up of Kim Larsen (Of The Wand And The Moon), Brian Hansen, and Jesper Saltoft, who collectively had left their previous band Saturnus in 2000, just before the release of their celebrated album "Martyre". Because of this cast, the band's debut album "Star Rover" was highly anticipated. On "Star Rover", the three musicians deliver nine brilliant Gothic-Metal/Rock tracks influenced by artists as diverse as Katatonia, The Cure, HIM, Sort Sol, and Seigmen - but all that with a sound never heard from Denmark before.

Previously known as Rapture (a name they really should have kept!), this reissue brings the one and only Moshketeers album back to life. Originally released in 1992, this album gets new cover artwork and adds a variety of bonus tracks. The Moshketeers were one of Christian Metal underground bands most reveled "secrets". "The Downward Spiral" was independently released on cassette only. Finally in 2010 Roxx Records secured the rights to reissue this gem upon a suspecting world!
First of all, 'The Downward Spiral' is just as good as the rumors would have it! The bands brand of Thrash Metal is unlike any band you've ever heard, yet it's well rooted in the American Thrash Metal scene of the late '80's. The band’s name, and their Bermuda shorts-clad looks leads the mind toward some of the bands that mixed Thrash Metal with Hardcore and humor, like Anthrax, S.O.D. or M.O.D.. And while the former of those bands can somewhat serve as a pinpoint towards The Moshketeers Thrash Metal sound; they are as different as they are similar.

This is not just another typical, boring release. "Distorted Reality" - is a new, fresh look at modern music. It is the desire of musicians to play something different, but at the same time familiar, pushed to create such an interesting music. Quick, catching, sometimes melodic riffs, combined with lyrics that affects common problems - all this can be heard in this album.

The music varies a little between Folk Metal and traditional Heavy Metal, with a slightly greater trend to
Folk. The Privateer delight with good songwriting ideas, exclusively fine melodies, catchy hooks and the creation of an ever exciting atmosphere. A great album that is welcome no matter if you prefer Heavy, Power or Pirate Metal, it's having the characters of it all. There are fierce and dramatic vocals, accurate violin and guitar melodies, and a great sense for timing and song composing.

The second full-length studio album by German Folk/Power Metal band.
While people usually think of Alestorm when the term "Pirate Metal", there is obviously more than just this band. The Privateer doesn’t sound like Alestorm, not at all! It’s a mix of melodic Death Metal, acoustic passages, here and there are some influences of classic Heavy Metal, and of course some elements of Folk Metal, where the violin plays the lead role.
No song is the same, and they found a good balance between harsher, pounding songs and acoustic, atmospheric songs. In result, an album that keeps your attention and it stays interesting during the playtime of almost an hour.
"Monolith" is a decent record, with songs that are going to be a success when played live. Nice for those fans of pirates!

The sixth full-length studio album by legendary British Electronic Music band.
The album was written and recorded largely while on tour, in various hotel rooms around the world, on flights, at the Prodigy's private studio at Tileyard Studios as well as mixed at SARM. The entire recording process took almost six years taking in a number of studios and a few restarts to establish that "angry, energetic sound". Unlike previous efforts, "The Day Is My Enemy" marks the first time that band members Maxim and Keith Flint have been actively involved in the songwriting process. 
Due to a general lack of interest in albums and the time spent in making them, "The Day Is My Enemy" was initially speculated by the band to be their last album as they would shift towards releasing EPs, however the band would sign a worldwide record publishing deal with BMG Rights Management in September 2017, and released a follow-up album "No Tourists" in 2018.
In contrast to their two previous albums, critical response to "The Day Is My Enemy" was positive. The album debuted at No. 1 in the UK Albums Chart, making it the band's sixth consecutive record to have reached the top of the chart.
