Exumer has finally exhumed themselves from the dead and have decided to get back into the studio to unleash a long-awaited third album. This is the band's first full-length album since 1987, after 24 years of silence!! Combining punishing production with aggressive song writing, Exumer manage to capture the intensity and feel of the 1980s Thrash Metal gems while attaining modern sonic density.
Original vocalist Mem Von Stein makes a triumphant return, and is probably the best asset of this newish Exumer. He still has those solid, semi-clean Teutonic shouts 'n' shrieks in full order. Original guitarist Ray Mensh teams up with a new guy simply named HK. The bass of Tony Schiavo pops up to say hi now and again, while the boring drumming of Matthias Kassner pales when compared to the technicality and aggression of Syke Bornetto.
Album includes re-recording song "Fallen Saint" from cult debut album “Possessed by Fire” ’86 – one of the best albums in Thrash/Speed Metal history, as well as re-recording song "I Dare You" from the 2nd "Rising From The Sea" album ’87.
CD includes 16-page booklet. This album is musthave for every Thrash Metal maniac of the World!!!

Exumer has never been in a rush. The influential German Thrash veterans have not taken a typical career approach to being a band since they reformed in 2008. Still, "Possessed By Fire" (1986) and "Rising From The Sea" (1987) stand as highly-heralded triumphs of the genre, particularly the former. Upon reemerging from hibernation, Exumer released their third full-length worldwide on Metal Blade Records. "Fire & Damnation" was exceptionally well received, and the band performed a series of shows over the course of the following years across North America, Europe, and South America. Where Exumer goes, die-hard Thrash Metal fans surely follow.
As 2015 ended, Exumer teamed up with producer/engineer Waldemar Soychta at Waldstreet Sound in Dortmund, Germany. The result was "The Raging Tides", a deliberate and violent Thrash Metal attack that stays entirely true to the band's origins. Exumer have managed to outdo themselves with "The Raging Tides". Refusing to fall into the trap of slowing down or resting on their laurels, the band has instead put together ten songs that if they had been released in Thrash’s heyday would have been a true classic of the genre! This is the mark on which reunited bands should be judged because it doesn’t get much better than this!!
