Technical/Avant-garde Metal band of guitarist Pavel Jerabek and singer Martin Brnovjak (ex-Absurd Conflict) released new six songs mini-album.
The album starts with familiar Edain stylings, which include Avant-gardish, Dark Heavy Metal and Progressive alteration. The guitar and bass works conjure up quite an artistic, antiquated feel. It simply feels archaic yet timeless. The band isn't very heavy at its heaviest, but they sound raw in a live way. However, the vocals are considerably raw, compared to anything else; non-melodic and unvarying brawling. The song is rather multidimensional, in a good way, but then comes a Jazz break and it just happens to be a totally irrelevant one.
Besides the complex and sometimes longer tracks combining anything from Death Metal aggression through complicated rhythms to almost Fusion elements and lyrics dealing with the heritage of ancient philosophy, vis-à-vis present day issues of political economy, there are also two experimental instrumental tracks that the guitarists arranged from the drum jam and solo, respectively. The instrumentalists' performances are great. They are skilled and they can switch between the music styles well!
