AUTOGRAPH “Sign In Please” /CD/

The debut full-length studio album by legendary American Melodic Hard Rock/Glam Metal band.
Despite their long-haired, pretty-boy image and the occasional hot guitar solo, Autograph was one of the more mainstream Hard Rock bands associated with the L.A. Metal scene. And though it spawned only one hit (the MTV favourite "Turn Up the Radio"), their 1984 debut is a solid collection of hook-heavy tunes. The album also featured another minor hit, "Send Her to Me". Both songs had accompanying videos. According to lead guitarist Steve Lynch, "Turn Up the Radio", was recorded at the tail end of the "Sign In Please" sessions and that RCA didn't find it suitable enough for inclusion. However, after stern insistence, the band was able to get it on the album. Neither party, however, expected it to gain such critical success that led to the album's Gold status.
"Turn Up the Radio" was featured in a variety of media in the coming decades and is regarded as a '80s Metal staple. "Turn Up the Radio" was featured in "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" and "All I'm Gonna Take" was featured in "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories" games, respectively.
Anyone expecting ridiculous aggression should stick with Mötley Crüe, but for those who prefer a sleeker Hard Rock sound in the vein of Night Ranger, this album will certainly satisfy!
At 1985 the album reached 29 place and Billboard 200 and was certified Gold in the USA by RIAA.
