The second full-length studio album by Polish Black Metal band.
In the same time known as the first album of Bartłomiej's Batushka, "Hospodi" enhances all the unique qualities that made the band such an instant phenomenon, while offering an entirely distinct and fresh sensory experience.
The album boasts the most ferocious and bewitching songs the band has penned to date. Fiercely conceived and audaciously executed, "Hospodi" takes the epoch-shattering essence of Batushka’s debut to a new level of idiosyncratic intensity. From the mesmerizing chants of the opening “Wozglas” to the blazing bombast of “Dziewiatyj Czas” and the pulsing, dark rock melodrama of “Wieczernia”, this is an album full of wildly dynamic, divergent moments, wherein the band’s otherworldly, inspirational fervour meets the whip-crack precision of 21st century brutality.
Perhaps most importantly, Batushka’s deft conjuring of religion’s synaptic shock ‘n’ awe looms large over every scything riff and bellicose scream. By the time fans reach the overpowering climax of the closing "Liturgiya", a true Damascene conversion is practically guaranteed!

Beast In Black is a Finnish-Greek-Hungarian band that was founded in 2015 in Helsinki by guitarist and songwriter Anton Kabanen, the former songwriter and ex-guitarist of Battle Beast. Like Battle Beast, the band's name is a tribute to the Japanese manga and anime series Berserk.
“Berserker” has a very obvious Power Metal sound, but it also wouldn’t be fair to say that’s all it brings to the table. Within the ten tracks, your ears will hear a fine-tuned band that also adds in Classic Metal elements and even some non-Metal sounds; they play their music with such fervour and conviction that everything thrown into your ears is going to have honest, raw, emotional power to it. Yannis Popadopoulos was the right person to front this band — his expressive vocals are exciting and contain some of the best range you’ve heard in some time.
The guitar riffs uses steady gallops, and traditional Classic Metal riffs than they do speed like some other Power Metal bands. It works better this way, as Anton and Kasperio Heikkinen are able to play full force while also keeping the songs grounded firmly into “pulverize your face,” area. Anton knows when to break down the walls and when to hang back a bit, to allow the other elements/instruments to shine. All too often, bands with “one main guy” tend to be nothing more than musical masturbation and too much show off time for one guy, but Anton brings the band together as a team. Together this team, this band called Beast In Black, have crafted one of the best Power/Classic Heavy Metal bliss albums you have heard! If you like this style at all, then you need this in your collection!!
"Berserker" ranked seventh on Finnish charts albums. It's also charted in Germany, United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland and France.

The third full-length studio album by Finnish Heavy/Power/Speed Metal band.
Beast In Black are often lumped into the Power Metal genre, but the band's sound is hard to pin down. Certainly, they do have a strong Power Metal vibe. But 80s Glam Metal is obviously a part of their sound, along with Synth Pop. Ultimately, it doesn't matter what genre they are because this album is so god-damn catchy, bold, and fun. It has the uncanny ability to hit hard while also having a unique sound that doesn't really care what people think—the band obviously knows who they are and had as much fun creating this album as we're listening to it.
Unlike the previous album "From Hell With Love", which was great but had a couple less than solid tracks, every track here is solid. The production and mix is as clear and open as expected, similar to how their first two albums sound.
With "Dark Connections", Beast In Black cement their style and show the word they aren't going anywhere. They also wrote an album filled with songs that won't leave your head for days, and we can't wait to hear more.
If you're into Melodic and Atmospheric Heavy Metal with an insanely catchy twist, this is the album you're looking for! There's no other creature like this walking the earth. None other bears these sharp-edged riffs or piercing choruses. Not with these epic sci-fi, fantasy and cyberpunk stories to tell. Beast In Black is a wholly unique form of Heavy Metal evolution!!

The second full-length studio album by Finnish Heavy/Power Metal band.
"From Hell With Love" is a homage to the eighties, so loved by Anton Kabanen – the founder and driving inspiration behind Beast In Black. Anton Kabanen was a founder member and musical leader of Battle Beast before leaving in 2015 citing musical differences. He promptly surrounded himself with a set of quality musicians in Papadopoulos, guitarist Kasperi Heikkinen and bassist Mate Molnar. For this second album, Atte Palokangas has replaced Sami Hänninen on drums.
Kabanen has a supreme talent for writing catchy melodies and hooks. The album picks up where their 2017 debut album, "Berserker", left off, instantly memorable melodies and hooks all delivered in founder Kabanen’s inimitable foot-stomping Power-House style. Virtually, every musical genre (Bar House and Rap) from the ’80s is included, making the album very commercial and instantly accessible across a broad audience.
"Berserker" reached number 25 in the U.K. album charts, this is set for greater things, given that Beast In Black made so many new friends when they supported Nightwish on their recent British tour.
This album has been highly anticipated among Beast In Black fans. They will not be disappointed and should now be joined by a whole legion of new fans.

Deluxe Edition re-release of the second full-length studio album by legendary Polish Black Metal band.
One of the most controversial and diverse albums in the band's career, the album is intriguing for several reasons: it not only featured keyboards and female vocals (by Celina, the ex-girlfriend of Nergal), but showed Behemoth's uniqueness from the start, with their novel combination of Black, Viking and Thrash Metal. It was originally released in January 1996 through Solistitium Records, and later by Pagan Records. The album is Behemoth's last release before their shift into a Death Metal sound. Finally released domestically in the USA, "Grom" is also the only album in Behemoth's catalogue with completely Polish lyrics.
Although Poland’s evil sons have since grown beyond the stringent confines of Black Metal, "Grom" remains a pinnacle moment in Behemoth’s evolution!

BEHEMOTH “Sventevith (Storming Near The Baltic)” /Deluxe 2LP/
The fourth re-release of the debut full-length studio album by legendary Polish Black Metal band.
The second release in the Slavonic Trilogy reissue series.
Once upon a time, Behemoth played under-produced and mediocre Black Metal before venturing where their hearts told them. Behemoth’s debut is a very good and rock solid album. It’s always had just the sound of Black Metal, and it finds the right moments to establish Black Metal scenery other than derived repetition. Behemoth decided to move forward into death metal with an interest in Sumerian gods and demons. The genre has changed, but you can spot the fascination in war and evil here too, and the ambition is very apparent. The album is completely memorable, with a style of their own the compositions manage to not be repetitive; it reaches and makes a unique and mature sound. Songs like “Hidden in a Fog”, “Entering the Faustian Soul” or “Hell Dwells in Ice” are undoubtedly the highlights of the album, but without taking merit away from the rest of the songs. Behemoth manages to be melodic, heavy, and atmospheric at different parts in the same composition, and they achieve this with the use of very few resources since they use the same ones throughout the whole album without it getting boring or repetitive. “Sventevith (Storming Near The Baltic)” delivers promising songs, but the band didn’t deliver their best, so their album ends up being a mere introduction to audiences to their first era.
Metal Blade Records has reissued the album, which includes a second disc of bonus tracks with four unreleased studio tracks and seven live tracks. Those just familiar with their more modern works, (anything from 1999 and onward, for sake of clarity), will find quite a different beast with this debut album.

First re-release of the fourth full-length studio album by legendary American Rock/Pop singer.
Carlisle added a bit of dance flavour to her signature Pop/Rock styling on this album. Numbers like the catchy "Do You Feel Like I Feel" and the harder-edged "I Plead Insanity" are dancefloor-ready, yet still contain the robust vocal delivery and sweeping guitar riffs necessary to please long-time fans. And the timeless melody of "Half the World" is the kind that made earlier hits like "Heaven Is a Place on Earth" and "Circle in the Sand" mainstays on radio long after their chart runs. The elegant arrangement of "Half the World", which includes Spanish guitars, mandolin and oboe, gives the song a universal appeal, whilst "Emotional Highway" has a slight Middle Eastern feel via Carlisle's sullen vocal and the moody surf guitars. "Live Your Life Be Free" shows the singer to be capable in a variety of musical contexts, and is a pleasing listen throughout.
Despite this, this is the first of Carlisle's albums not to chart in the United States and the last album of hers to produce a U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Single ("Do You Feel Like I Feel?", number 73). The first Single release outside the United States was the album title track, which peaked at No. 11 in Italy, No. 12 in the UK, No. 16 in Sweden and No. 13 in Australia. The album sold better outside the U.S. and managed to enter the top 10 in the UK (exactly at number 7), where it was certified Gold. First re-release of the fifth full-length studio album by legendary American Rock/Pop singer.
After four solo albums of polished Pop sounds, and looks, Belinda Carlisle decided to strip down her sound to showcase some raw music and Rock out a little. Quite a daring move, but it also shows a maturing artist who is comfortable in her own skin. The album has a genre of mainly Pop songs and suffers from a lack of memorable songs and while the record sounded good, it had nothing to support the state-of-the-art production. It was also a departure from her previous solo albums, having more in common with Carlisle's the Go-Go's sound rather than her own, typical, solo Pop themes. Dealing with what Carlisle termed the "dark side of relationships", the album is mature and intentionally lacks the slick production of her other solo albums. Carlisle won over many critics who had previously reviewed her for her sensed lack of progression and willingness to take a chance with some edgier material.
This is probably Belinda's most comfortable yet loudest album yet. She would follow 'Real' with the slick and more successful Adult Contemporary "A Woman and a Man" which is closer to her original sound, but "Real" would stand firm as a memorable highlight in the singer's career where she chooses to experiment with her image and sound.
"Real" debuted on the UK Albums Chart at number nine on October 18, 1993, becoming Carlisle's fifth consecutive top-10 album there. In Sweden, the album became her fifth top-30 album, peaking at number 23. Australia was the last place the album charted, where it charted at number 61.
"Big Scary Animal" Single reached number 12 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Carlisle's seventh top-20 Single, and a top 60 hit in Australia. This is also the most successful song co-written by Belinda Carlisle. "Lay Down Your Arms" was released as the second Single and failed to gain much success, peaking at number 27 in the UK.

The eighth full-length studio album by legendary American Rock/Pop singer.
The first studio album in ten years, since the release of "Voila" (2007), a collection of Chansons performed by Carlisle in French. Unlike her previous releases, which have largely been characterized as Pop music, it consists of a series of Sikh chants performed by Carlisle in Gurmukhi and is inspired by her practice of Kundalini yoga.
In the first decade of her post-Go-Go's solo career, Belinda Carlisle delivered six albums as a mainstream Pop artist, notching hits with songs like "Mad About You" and "Heaven Is a Place on Earth". Following 1996's "A Woman and a Man", Carlisle largely abandoned her solo pursuits, participating in a handful of Go-Go's reunions and battling a drug addiction that lasted until 2005. Newfound sobriety and the influence of living in France yielded 2007's "Voila", an unexpectedly high-quality collection of French Pop songs and classic Chansons, which she sang entirely in French.
With another decade in the books, the California native returns with yet another personal passion project in 2017's "Wilder Shores". Like "Voila", "Wilder Shores" eschews any attempt at mainstream Pop, nor does it offer more than a handful of English-language tracks. A long-time devotee of the practice of Kundalini Yoga, Carlisle and her producer/collaborator Gabe Lopez have set to music a collection of Buddhist chants and mantras, the bulk of which are sung in the ancient Gurmukhi language. Though Pop-oriented in structure, the mostly acoustic arrangements are adorned with Eastern instrumentation like tabla, harmonium, and sitar, and Carlisle's increasingly smoky voice handles the tricky chants surprisingly well. Although it suffers somewhat from the inherent blandness that often comes with this type of New Age Fusion, the album's tone is generally uplifting and the acoustic piano rendition of "Heaven Is a Place on Earth" that closes out the collection slots in well with the overall vibe and intention.
Carlisle commented on her inspiration behind making the album, specifically her practising of Kundalini yoga: "I have been practising Kundalini Yoga for over twenty-five years and in the last twelve years I have built up a serious practice routine and begun studying the mantras that are used in classes much more closely. I’ve always wanted to do an album like this, but I never felt I was ready until early in 2015. It’s not just music on this album, it’s a science that requires an element in the voice called the Naad. Naad is almost a transference of energy through the voice, and it wasn’t easy for me to learn. That being said, I am a Pop singer, so I could never be a traditional chant or Kirtan artist as it would not be true to who I am. "Wilder Shores" is therefore still a Pop album with the same structure of verse, bridge and chorus as my previous records, but it is done with repetitive chanting".
Wilder Shores is a genre-busting album of eastern and western influences, fusing the worlds of energizing Pop music and elevating Kundalini mantras. The powerhouse voice of Pop superstar Belinda Carlisle soars over these chant tracks with precision and grace. "Wilder Shores" is deeply authentic to the genre of Kirtan, but deftly translated into an ultra-current sound that makes these mantras sound like chart-toppers. The power of the mantras themselves to bring peace, balance and strength to the heart is supported by powerful English tracks, including a new acoustic version of Carlisle's international hit "Heaven is a Place on Earth" that fans will not want to miss. "Wilder Shores" is filled with music equally at home, in yoga studios and rock stadiums, leading the wave of spirituality in the music mainstream! indulgence, give Carlisle credit for once again challenging herself as a singer and artist!

The second full-length studio album by legendary Scottish Rock band.
Big Country came out of one of the less dominant parts of the United Kingdom with an anthemic sound and vaguely revolutionary-sounding lyrics to captivate the British listening public and at least interest Americans. Big Country continued their winning ways at home with this, its second album, which topped the charts and produced three Top 40 hits: "East of Eden", "Where the Rose is Sown", and "Just a Shadow". But in the U.S., the album was perceived as proving that the band's sound, guitars-as-bagpipes, courtesy of the E-Bow, was a one-time novelty, while Stuart Adamson's lyrics, full of British socialist working-class fervour, seemed jingoistic and pretentious. Nevertheless, much of the music, as on the first album, made for stirring Rock & Roll.
Clanging and crackling with energy, this album from Big Country rings natural evolutionary changes on the band's stirring twin-guitar sound even as it frames still better news: bandleader Stuart Adamson has rapidly matured into a songwriter capable of bringing meticulous craft to his obvious passion.
"Steeltown" is the band's only UK number 1 album, topping the chart for 1 week in October 1984. "East of Eden" was the only Top 20 Single from the album, reaching number 17 in the UK Singles Chart.

The nineteenth full-length studio album by the legendary British Heavy Metal band.
The album was released on 10 June in Europe and 11 June in North America, via Vertigo Records and Republic Records in the US, and via Vertigo Records worldwide. It is the first studio album released by Black Sabbath since “Forbidden” (1995), and their first studio recording with original singer Ozzy Osbourne and bassist Geezer Butler since the live album “Reunion” (1998), which contained two new studio tracks. It is also the first studio album with Osbourne since “Never Say Die!” (1978), and with Butler since “Cross Purposes” (1994).
The original lineup of Black Sabbath first began work on a new studio album in 2001 with producer Rick Rubin. The album's development was delayed because Osbourne was in the middle of finishing his eighth solo album “Down to Earth”, and the rest of the band members eventually went on to pursue other projects, including GZR and Heaven & Hell. When Black Sabbath announced their reunion on 11 November 2011, the band announced that they would restart work on a new album with Rubin. In addition to original members Osbourne, Butler and guitarist Tony Iommi, they were joined at the recording sessions by drummer Brad Wilk, of Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, following original drummer Bill Ward's decision to not participate in the reunion, due to a "contractual dispute".
For the cover artwork for was created an 8-foot-tall "13" from wicker, which was then set on fire in the Buckinghamshire countryside. The flames were visible for miles. The image was shot for album's cover.
Album reached No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart after its first week of sales. It is the band's first album to top the UK chart since “Paranoid” (1970). Osbourne was said to be "in shock" at the album's success, remarking that the band has "never had a record climb the charts so fast" before. The album also reached No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 charts, selling over 155,000 copies in the first week. Osbourne said, "There have been so many amazing highlights in our long career. To finally have our first #1 album in the U.S. is another incredible milestone for Black Sabbath." In its second week of release, the album fell to No. 5 in the US, selling 46,000, totaling 201,000 copies, and in its third week, 13 sold over 26,000 bringing its total sales to 227,000 copies in the US. The album also debuted at No. 1 on the Canadian Albums Chart with 25,000 units sold.

50th Anniversary re-release of the debut full-length studio album by legendary British Heavy Metal band.
Black Sabbath's debut album is the birth of Heavy Metal as we now know it. Compatriots like Blue Cheer, Led Zeppelin, and Deep Purple were already setting new standards for volume and heaviness in the realms of Psychedelia, Blues Rock, and Prog Rock. Yet of these Metal pioneers, Sabbath were the only whose sound today remains instantly recognizable as Heavy Metal, even after decades of evolution in the genre.
The album is widely regarded as the first Heavy Metal album. Additionally, the opening track, "Black Sabbath", has been referred to as the first Doom Metal song. According to Black Sabbath's guitarist and founding member Tony Iommi, the album was recorded in a single twelve-hour session on 16 October 1969. Aside from the bells, thunder and rain sound effects added to the beginning of the opening track and the double-tracked guitar solos on "N.I.B." and "Sleeping Village", there were virtually no overdubs added to the album. The key to the band's new sound on the album was Iommi's distinctive playing style that he developed after an accident at a sheet metal factory where he was working at the age of 17 in which the tips of the middle fingers of his fretting hand were severed. Iommi created a pair of false fingertips using plastic from a dish detergent bottle and detuned the strings on his guitar to make it easier for him to bend the strings, creating a massive, heavy sound.
"Black Sabbath" is a revolutionary debut whose distinctive ideas merely await a bit more focus and development. Henceforth, Black Sabbath would forge ahead with a vision that was wholly theirs.
Upon release, the album reached number eight on the UK Albums Charts and number 23 on the US Billboard 200. In 1989, Kerrang! Magazine ranked "Black Sabbath" number 31 on their "100 Greatest Heavy Metal Albums of All Time". In 1994, it was ranked number 12 in Colin Larkin's Top 50 Heavy Metal Albums. In 2000, Q Magazine included "Black Sabbath" in their list of the "Best Metal Albums of All Time". In 2003, it was ranked number 241 on Rolling Stone Magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, 243 in a 2012 revised list, and 355 in a 2020 revised list. Rolling Stone Magazine ranked "Black Sabbath" number 44 in their list of the 100 Best Debut Albums of All Time, describing the title track as the song that "would define the sound of a thousand bands". Additionally, in 2017, the magazine ranked it 5th on their list of "100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time". The album was also included in Robert Dimery's 2005 musical reference book "1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die".
