30th years Anniversary remastered re-release of the first live album by legendary American Grunge band.
“MTV Unplugged In New York” was the first Nirvana album released in the wake of the death of singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain. It features a performance taped at Sony Music Studios in New York City on November 18, 1993 for the television series MTV Unplugged. The show was first aired on the cable television network MTV on December 14, 1993. As opposed to traditional practice on the television series, Nirvana played a set list composed of mainly lesser-known material and cover versions of songs by The Vaselines, David Bowie, Meat Puppets (during which they were joined by two members of the band onstage), and Lead Belly.
The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and has become the band's most successful posthumous release, having been certified 5x Platinum in the United States by 1997. It also won the Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album in 1996. The performance was released on DVD in 2007.

"Tales Of Mystery And Imagination" recalls the tightly riffed, classically tinged twin-guitar interplay of bands like Helloween and especially Iron Maiden, in the sci-fi/fantasy lyrics as well as the music.
It's a carefully crafted effort that will appeal strongly to fans who, like Nocturnal Rites, still love this particular style of Metal regardless of trends.

First re-release of the debut full-length album by legendary Ukrainian Pagan/Folk/Symphonic Black Metal band.
Originally released in 1996 on MC and considered by most as a demo-album, it's a professionally recorded full-length album and highly anticipated cult release requested by fans of elite Slavonic Black Metal, that was reissued on CD for a several times.
"Lunar Poetry" is steeped in moonlight mystery and timeless Slavonic ritualism. This is Black Metal with highly expressive Folk sorrowful melodies. It delivers soaring guitars and apocalyptic keyboard passages. It offers a wide variance in vocals, from screams to whispers and narration, and it breathes the air of originality that Nokturnal Mortum is famous for.
Similar to Limbonic Art in their reliance on rumbling rhythm patterns and keyboard usage, Nokturnal Mortum did a fine job of capturing both - the bleakness of Black Metal, as well as a more ethnic representation of their native Ukrainian Folk music. The music is extremely fluid and tends to lean towards a more majestic and beautiful sound than harshness of Black Metal.
The band also covers Celtic Frost's "Sorrows of the Moon" with a nice degree of skill.
"Lunar Poetry" was way ahead of its time, and even today, it sounds fresh and inspiring. In fact, the result is so startling - it is hard to imagine that this is only Nokturnal Mortum's very first journey into the dark, the ancient and the extreme... Regardless of occasional inexperience that is typical for a demo, "Lunar Poetry" is a beautiful, stirring and impressive album that utterly requires your attention if you have any liking for a keyboard laden Black Metal assault! Without a doubt, "Lunar Poetry" is one of the best Black Metal albums ever!!

Second re-release of the debut full-length studio album by legendary American Death Metal band.
If Death Metal first came to life during the mid- to late '80s courtesy of bands like Florida's Death ("Scream Bloody Gore"), another Florida band, Obituary, brought it to fruition in 1989 with "Slowly We Rot". These five guys took what bands like Death and the San Francisco Bay Area's Possessed had done to a new level of Deathliness. The music of Obituary wasn't simply an Extreme form of Slayer-esque Speed Metal with ghastly vocals; it was full-fledged Death Metal, with down-tuned guitar riffs of monstrous size, painful-sounding growls and moans for vocals, and distinct tempo changes that often brought the songs down to a lumbering Doomy tempo (a revolutionary thing at the time of release) rather relentlessly breakneck speeds à la Thrash. As one of the pioneers of this genre, they created a heavy album where everything was monstrous. From their down-tuned guitar riffs, deep growls and moans and distinct tempo changes.
Obituary's debut album was a ground-breaking release at the end of the 1980s. They were blazing a new trail, along with other Florida peers like Morbid Angel and, a bit later, Deicide, Malevolent Creation, and Cannibal Corpse. It is the only Obituary album to feature bassist Daniel Tucker. Lead guitarist Allen West would leave soon after, but returned for the third album, "The End Complete". Despite being recorded in standard tuning and with Fender Stratocasters, it is considered to be one of the band's heavier efforts. The remainder of the band's output has been recorded in D tuning.
"Slowly We Rot" is a historically significant album, not only in the context of Obituary's career but, more importantly, in the context of Death Metal in general. This is partly where it all began -- here and across the Atlantic, where the Grindcore bands of Earache were carving out their own niche, one that would soon overlap with that of Obituary and their peers...

The first re-release on vinyl of the debut full-length studio album by cult Swedish Melodic Death/Doom Metal band.
October Tide was a side project formed by two members of Katatonia with their style not at all far removed from that fine band. Melancholic, sorrowful mid-paced Metal, with Death Metal vocals laid over the top. Jonas Renske performed the vocals on "Rain Without End" like he did on all early Katatonia albums, intense, deep and very atmospherical. The October Tide line-up during "Rain Without End" was: Fredrik Norrman (electric, acoustic and bass guitars) and Jonas Renske (drums, electric and acoustic guitars and all vocals). This is the only October Tide release with Jonas Renkse on vocals.
The album was recorded at Unisound, Örebro, Sweden, in 1995. Later, it was re-mastered by Dan Swanö, during the winter 2007- 2008.
This re-release contains both the original and remastered versions.

The fourth album by legendary American composer and Jazz saxophonist.
Often named as one of the 100 best Jazz albums, it remains Nelson's most acclaimed album and features a line-up of notable musicians: Freddie Hubbard, Eric Dolphy (his second-to-last appearance on a Nelson album following a series of collaborations recorded for Prestige), Bill Evans (his only appearance with Nelson), Paul Chambers and Roy Haynes. Baritone saxophonist George Barrow does not take solos but remains a key feature in the subtle voicing of Nelson's arrangements.
Recorded during the course of a single day in February 1961 and released six months later, "The Blues And The Abstract Truth" is often noted for its unique ensemble arrangements and is frequently identified as a progenitor of Nelson's move towards arranging later in his career. The album includes the iconic version of Nelson's all-time classic "Stolen Moments", a 16-bar piece with solos in a conventional 12-bar minor Blues structure in C minor.
Nelson's later album, "More Blues And The Abstract Truth" (1964), features an entirely different (and larger) group of musicians and bears little resemblance to this record.
"The Blues And The Abstract Truth" was voted number 333 in the third edition of Colin Larkin's "All Time Top 1000 Albums" (2000).

First re-release of the third full-length studio album by cult American Epic Power/Heavy Metal band.
Another god given present of the American Power Metal of the eighties is the third album by Omen. “The Curse” is the final studio album recorded by Omen's original lineup. Bandhead Kenny Powell formerly had played with Savage Grace, which also can be filed under "absolute cult". Most outstanding feature of Omen, besides Powell's intricate guitar-play, definitively is the heroic deep vocals of J.D. Kimball, booze-destroyer extraordinaire.
The description "Iron Maiden on speed" had made its way through the magazines, what is not all that wrong. The axes really had these typical twin-harmonies a la Dave Murray/Adrian Smith, of course played a lot faster. Every song of this album is a gemstone of Metal-art, simply perfect songs for eternity. But you could say the same for all songs of "Battle Cry" and "Warning Of Danger", because the two previous albums also are finest steel!
The final album recorded by Omen's classic lineup found the Los Angeles band in a state of transition, relinquishing many of their original New Wave Of British Heavy Metal-inspired trademarks in a somewhat forced attempt to play catch-up to the by-then dominant Thrash Metal movement. The ploy didn't work, however, and, even when they could still count on solid songwriting instincts and top-notch musicianship to carry them through, Speed Metal wannabes like the opening title cut, "S.R.B." and "At All Cost" were quite simply no match for the innately Thrashing likes of Metallica, Slayer, et. On the other hand, when Omen remembered their roots, their abilities for fashioning multi-paced and melodic Heavy Metal, bordering on the yet-to-be-conceived subgenre of Power Metal, were still as good as it got within the 50 states.
"The Curse" undoubtedly represents Omen’s compositional apex. Their third album is an overkill of frenetic rhythmic dynamics, miniature scales inserted just before the chord changes and coarse vocals. Musically, Omen were mere NWOBHM imitators, but this album is far from being a trash product. They managed to make a good album with "The Curse"!

"The Road To Or Shalem. Live At The Reading 3, Tel-Aviv" is a well-produced live album, which primarily features songs from their albums "Mabool – The Story Of The Three Sons Of Seven" and "The Never Ending Way Of ORwarriOR". It is also the last professional recording of the band to include both of their original guitarists, Yossi Sassi Sa'aron and Matti Svatizky, who helped shape the distinctive sound of Orphaned Land with their mastery of innovative oriental guitar riffs. This adds an extra level of significance to the release.
The production of this show is worth praising. In addition to the band, there are several special guests (including Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree) and various session musicians playing a variety of instruments, such as percussion, flute, bouzouki, and more. These elements are all perfectly blended with the "traditional" Metal instrumentation of Orphaned Land, resulting in a rich and diverse sound that brings the songs to life.
"The Road To Or Shalem. Live At The Reading 3, Tel-Aviv" is a quality live album featuring some of the greatest songs Orphaned Land has written. Its performances and production are top-notch, capturing the atmosphere of a live show in an authentic yet highly professional way. The twentieth full-length studio album by legendary American Thrash Metal band.
It is the band's first studio album in four years, following "The Wings Of War" (2019), the longest gap between studio albums for the band. The release date of "Scorched" was postponed on numerous occasions, partly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The album features former Mickey Ratt and Rough Cutt guitarist Jake E. Lee, who replaced guitarist Randy Rhoads who had been killed a year earlier in a plane crash.
The album peaked at number 19 on the Billboard 200 album chart and within several weeks of release was certified Gold for over 500.000 sales in the United States. Originally released on Turquoise With Black Splatter Vinyl in 2019, in the limited to 4500 copies "See You On The Other Side" Box Set.
The last album to feature Zakk Wylde and Mike Bordin. Guitarist Zakk Wylde filled the spot for the album, and sometimes chose to add a keyboard solo to a song rather than a guitar solo.
The album featured a new musical style and was the first album to include elements of Industrial Metal, such as “Civilize The Universe”, and Thrash Metal, such as “11 Silver”. The album featured many elements not seen in previous albums, such as distorted vocals, heavier guitars, and the higher usage of synthesizers (maybe because this is the first album not to feature a keyboardist in Osbourne's backup band).
The album went Gold in the United States and has sold over 1.000.000 copies worldwide.

This album is Osbourne's personal favourite of all his releases. This is the final album recorded by guitarist Randy Rhoads, who perished in a plane crash in early 1982. It also represents drummer Lee Kerslake's final appearance with Osbourne.
 This album was done with passion. Osbourne sure delivered a message with this trail of thought. The little above average playing of the guitar God Rhoads did work for the relatively young Ozzy fanbase. Recorded back to back alongside with the solo debut “Blizzard Of Ozz”, “Diary Of Madman” concealed the unseen talents of the bassist Bob Daisley. “Madman” rages through with some dramatic and tragic guitar passages all toward the mad, doomy and sadistic dimensions of this album.
To date, “Diary Of Madman” has sold over 3.2 million copies worldwide.
