For the first time on vinyl, the only full-length studio album by German Heavy/Power Metal project.
C.O.E. was the last solo project band of the legendary Croatian-born frontman S. L. Coe, most known as the voice of classic albums like Angel Dust "To Dust You Will Decay" or Scanner  "Terminal Earth". With these two recordings, the voice of  S. L. Coe entered into the hearts of many Metal-fans worldwide. After his last release with German Reactor on their "Farewell To Reality" in 1995, the singer retired dedicating his career as sound engineer (Dust Music studio owner) and producer (1MF label owner) but found time to run this project with good friends from 2000 to 2002. The album was released on CD by Shark Records in 2000 and dedicated to the music that Coe most loves: Metal!
In Germany, S. L. Coe was entitled as "enfant terrible" and not beloved in the "scene" for his true and "straight in your face" talk. The track "Have a Drink on Me" shows clearly what Coe waited to say for long time to some guys! A biker, a Metalhead and a Jack Daniels fan, S. L. Coe sings his truth on his songs, he practised what he preaches. Here are some words on his YouTube page: "Album "Metal" failed to reach a broader audience because of the corrupt and dishonest Metal press of Rock Hard and Metal Hammer, who feature bands especially when the record companies pay accordingly for advertises and pimpled teen "journalists" who think they can judge music of veterans who are more than 20 years on the road. After a hearing damage and not willing to deal with corruption and mendacity any more, S. L. Coe in 2002 decided to ultimately leave the music business".
Out first time on vinyl, and with a new artwork, this is a true and heartfelt tribute and homage to a great singer who recorded Heavy Metal classics, dedicated his life to Heavy Metal music, and took less than he deserved.

The second re-release of the debut full-length studio album by legendary American Brutal Death Metal band.
Cannibal Corpse emerged fully formed out of Florida's famous Death Metal swamp with their debut. The first Cannibal Corpse album is a landmark album in the history of Heavy Metal and even Rock 'n' Roll. All the trademarks are in place, from the B-horror movie album cover art to the ludicrously over the top lyrics.
Metal Blade definitely signed this Buffalo, NY band, and they signed the best band of all-time! Cannibal Corpse's single-minded devotion to their cause is admirable. Incredible riffs and outstanding vocals on all the songs. The bass is impressive and outstanding as well. The drumming is nice, fast, furious, and superb. Chris Barnes growls his vocals like Satan on a diet of razor blades and paint thinner. This album was something more than average Death Metal fit. More fast, brutal, powerful and full of force than other acts such as Death and Obituary. Filled with speed and anger, Cannibal Corpse took Death Metal to another level, with the fast drumming for the likes of Death, Autopsy and Sadus, the guttural riffage and brutal vocals. 
This album really rules! It's the best debut album ever and the best album released in 1990!!

The first Chastain album to feature Fifth Angel drummer Ken Mary, who replaced Fred Coury, after a suggestion by Shrapnel Records president and talent scout Mike Varney.
On "Ruler Of The Wasteland", Chastain leads his band through a set of well-penned and fairly accessible Heavy Metal tunes with such dramatic titles as "The Battle of Nevermore" and "Angel of Mercy". Lead singer Leather sounds like a female Dio - in a good way. Guitar geeks should stick with Malmsteen, but more mainstream Metal audiences will enjoy Chastain's tough, song-oriented approach.

It is Cher's first album featuring original material in ten years, following "Closer To The Truth" (2013). Furthermore, it was also her first Christmas album.
On October 6, 2023, Cher released "DJ Play a Christmas Song" as the lead Single from the album. "DJ Play a Christmas Song" debuted at number 94 on the US Billboard Hot 100 on the chart dated December 30, 2023, becoming Cher's first entry on the Hot 100 since "Song for the Lonely" in May 2002. On the week ending October 21, 2023, the song entered the US Billboard Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart at number three, reaching the number one position six weeks later (on the week-ending December 2, 2023). For the first time on vinyl, the debut full-length studio album by American Progressive Power Metal band.
Circle II Circle marks the recording return of former Savatage lead vocalist, Zachary Stevens, after a few years of silence. Circle II Circle was formed by Zak Stevens after his departure from Savatage, after recording four albums. But though this band is very much Stevens' personal vehicle, the bulk of 2003's debut was written with the help of his old Savatage cronies, and it is therefore no surprise that both groups tread quite similar paths. "Watching In Silence" featured guest appearances from Zachary's former bandmates of Savatage, Jon Oliva and Chris Caffery.
The writing for debut began in mid-2001, when Zak and Jon Oliva entered D.O.W. studios in Tampa to start some rough demos of their early ideas. Most songs included on the album were co-written with either Jon Oliva and Chris Caffery. It should be no surprise this sounds a lot like Savatage, considering who’s in the line-up, with the epic arrangements, moody passages, and Zak’s soaring vocals, it could have had ideas for a new Savatage album, being very much in the vein of "Dead Winter Dead" or "Wake of Magellan". The same kinds of vocal melodies, the same kinds of arrangements, the same type of lyrical themes. If anything, Circle II Circle comes across a tad less 'Metallic' and closer to the Melodic Hard Rock (think AOR) that was so popular in the early '80s.
After this record release, the entire band other than Stevens quit and eventually went on to join Oliva in Jon Oliva's Pain.
If you really dig the mellower bits on the last Savatage albums, you need to get this!

They have a certain niche carved alongside acts like Pagan Altar and Manilla Road - true pioneers of pure and true Heavy Metal.
When the band released their first album, “Frost And Fire”, in 1981, they benefitted from the nascent NWOBHM movement.  As the decade progressed, though, it was as if Metal split into two distinct and opposite directions with the MTV crowd at one end and the other occupied by heavier bands.  After having a difficult relationship with their label, Restless Records, the band split up in 1992. Thankfully, though, they reunited in 2016 and have been hard at work since playing festivals across North America and Europe.
“I’m Alive” was recorded live 27.05.2017 at Up The Hammers Festival, Athens, Greece. At twenty-two tracks, this is an album well worth its price tag. The production is thoroughly live with little to no evidence of any major studio fixes or tricks. Tonally, the guitar is pure, undiluted overdriven Marshall JCM800, the staple of the ‘80s. It is a thick sound with plenty of girth and Metallic rage. The drums are captured with a very lively sound, solid and organic. Tim Baker’s vocals are as lethal as ever as he still rules over the microphone like a despotic ancient warlord from a Robert E. Howard or Michael Moorcock story.  Weatherby’s bass sounds huge. Though not particularly overindulgent, it is an articulate sound with plenty of presence that never gets buried in the mix. Few bands can really pull something like that off without sounding over-busy but Cirith Ungol are veterans, certainly members of the Heavy Metal elite! Cirith Ungol were essentially paving the way for bands like Iced Earth and their collaboration with Todd McFarland on “The Dark Saga”.  Everything about this album speaks to the professional aspect of the band. Because of that vital experience in the business, the band understands well what the fans want and caters to them particularly the die-hards. If you can find this for a decent price on vinyl - buy it!  It is not only a solid investment, but genuine Heavy Metal magic!!
