Re-release of the seventeenth full-length studio album by the legendary American Shock Rock/Hard Rock/Glam Metal singer.
In the mid-'80s, Alice Cooper was able to crawl out of obscurity and rebuild his cult following. Though 1986's "Constrictor" and the supporting Nightmare Returns tour hardly commanded mainstream attention, the album and tour were his most successful in years, proving Cooper still had enough life to launch a full-fledged comeback. Not even a year after the release of "Constrictor", Cooper released "Raise Your Fist And Yell", which is more of a return to his dark thematic role than its predecessor.
The album continues the slasher film trend created by Cooper’s previous album "Constrictor". It's features the track “Prince of Darkness”, which is featured very briefly in the John Carpenter film of the same name, in which Cooper has a cameo as a murderous vagrant. The song can be heard on the Walkman of one of his victims. The track “Lock Me Up” features a guest appearance from Robert Englund, who portrayed Freddy Krueger in the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" series.
"Raise Your Fist And Yell" is the only Alice Cooper album to feature Ken K. Mary on drums and the second and last to feature Kip Winger on bass.
With "Raise Your Fist And Yell", Cooper embraced his past while still managing to sound fun and exciting. Overall, it still seems surprising that 1989's "Trash" completely deserted Cooper's menacing, villainous role. After all, "Raise Your Fist And Yell", though far from a highlight, showed Cooper was still able to provide both Rock anthems and theatrical experiments - and do it rather well, for that matter!

The second full-length album by Italian Thrash Metal band.
Alkoholizer are back! Brewed in 2006 in Sardinia and ready to party, their first bottle was called "Demo-Lizer" demo with four tracks. After that, a full-length album entitled "Drunk Or Dead..." made sure people got the message: beer and more beer, an excellent album and the bar was open.
After few problems with band members, they went off business for a while and now have returned thirstier than ever with a new formation as well. Vocalist Alessandro and drummer Gabriele, who both played on "Drunk Or Dead...", have departed. A new drummer has been brought in and bassist Fabrizio is now handling the vocals. Besides that, the band also recruited a second guitarist, which results in a couple of solo vs. solo situations. Also, Fabrizio taken on the vocals duties. In 2013, they released an EP to state that the Sardinian boars had returned and now we've been offered a new studio album.
Alkoholizer didn't want to change anything from their last record as Fabrizio's vocals is just a replica of Alessandro's. So, the recipe is here and it is very good, fans of Tankard will love this band and get drunk too; the production is very good, everything sounds cool and art cover is brilliant. Great melodies and crazy choruses, the guitars do a fantastic job and the drummer kicks asses; lots of variation, cool bass lines, solos and… f*ck it, you're going to open another beer!
Closes down the bar with golden keys... don't worry, tomorrow you're open it again! Excellent, excellent, great album, amazing work!!

All Shall Perish's debut, "Hate, Malice, Revenge," was originally released in 2003 on a tiny Japanese label called Amputated Vein. Yes, it is rather convenient timing on Nuclear Blast's part to re-release the album in 2005, when modern heavy metal was peaking in popularity. But the fact of the matter is this isn't metalcore; this is deathcore, darn it!
All Shall Perish is here to take over the world!! This five-piece "melodic hardcore death-metal" band from Oakland, California have a very fresh and very unique sound. This band is extremely talented and are deadset on reaching their goal to become the first band to really cross over in the hardcore and deathmetal scenes. By blending melodic "Swedish-style" deathmetal riffs with ultra brutal, dancefloor clearing breakdowns and the occassional technical metal guitar part, along with dueling "guttural" and "screaming" vocals, an intricate mix is created that is groove-inducing yet it ignites the flames of anger deep inside the souls of any listener.

ALL SHALL PERISH “Awaken The Dreamers” /Ltd. Slipcase CD + DVD/
Third full-length album by the American Deathcore band.
When Metal historians look back on the 2000s, they will no doubt remember the first decade of the 21st century as a time in which Europe dominated Death Metal, Black Metal and Gothic Metal while the United States dominated Metalcore. That said, it isn't as though U.S. Metal bands and European Metal bands are oblivious to one another in the 21st century: American Metalheads are often influenced by European Metalheads, and vice-versa. "On Awaken The Dreamers", California's All Shall Perish maintain a sound that is essentially American but has a definite fondness for European Metal. The material on this 2008 release is Technical Metalcore with elements of Technical Death Metal, specifically the Technical Death Metal coming out of Scandinavia. All Shall Perish sound like an American band, which they are; Technical Metalcore is the primary ingredient, but Nordic Death Metal is a prominent influence. Although "Awaken The Dreamers" has its melodic moments, melody and nuance are really afterthoughts on this 35-minute CD.
Ultimately, "Awaken The Dreamers" is about brute force; nasty, harsh, dense, and unapologetically vicious, All Shall Perish go for the jugular more often than not. "Awaken The Dreamers" isn't a bad album; the material isn't remarkable, but it is generally worthwhile. Countless other U.S. bands have been mining the "Technical American Metalcore meets Technical European Death Metal" waters, and while All Shall Perish aren't the absolute best of the lot, "Awaken The Dreamers" is at least a decent and noteworthy effort from these brutal Northern Californians!
Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett listed the album as one of his top 25 favorite albums from 2000 to 2009.
The album sold just under 5000 copies in its first week of release entering the Billboard 200 at number 126.
This Limited Edition release features bonus DVD with Studio Report and Making of "Awaken The Dreamers"!

The second long-awaited album by the Russian Extreme band famous for its debut album as successors of early Opeth! Besides professional approach to songwriting, performance and perfect sound, this time the musicians demonstrate original ideas which became the own face of the band. Progressive Death Metal demonstrated at "Amphibious" is impressive, diverse and emotional in addition to intellectual refinement which is the essential feature of Alley.
The album is strongly recommended to fans of early Opeth and Daylight Dies, as well as all fans of Extreme Metal music!

The second full-length album by Italian/Danish Stoner Metal band.
Allhelluja is a band that you need to know about. Fronted by the charismatic Jacob Bredahl from the Danish Death Metal act Hatesphere and including two owners of Scarlet Records (drummer/co-founder Stefano Longhi and guitarist/co-founder Massimo Gajer) Allhelluja give the Metal world a much-needed kick in the ass by cranking up the volume (and attitude) and Rockin' the f**k out. Snippets of the filthy Metal Boogie of acts like Motörhead, a pinch of Entombed locomotive stomp, and a variety of Stoner-tinged and Southern fried Metal bands make "Pain Is The Gain" one hell of a party.
The late 2006 follow-up to 2005's "Inferno Museum" debut, is an explosion of dirty, Rock 'n' Roll infused Metal. A collection of hot licks that benefit from a mix that doesn't smooth out the edges and that periodically ride the Stoner Rock edge (e.g. "The Devil, Me, Myself and I") complement a rhythm section that is taut and rugged. Even beyond the catchy songwriting and somewhere-left-of-sane lyrics is a purity of delivery, a deservedly cocky demeanor, and a smack in the mouth to all who claim to be saviors of the Rock. And it doesn't mean that "Pain is the Game" is somehow groundbreaking - it's just an honest ball-buster of an album. Bredahl struts and swaggers all over this thing, his staccato vocal attack on the rollicking "Superhero Motherfucker Superman" and "Big Money, Sweet Money" enough to get even the most stoic fan moving and breaking sh*t.
Whether it is a straight-ahead rocker like album opener "Are You Ready? (Ready for your Massacre)", the knuckle-busting charge of "The King of Pain", or the nasty soul-burn of "Soul Man" (complete with one of the album's most psychotic lyrical tirades), Allhelluja hits it and quits it, leaving everyone in the vicinity drenched in sweat and bleeding from the ears.
Far too many of these faux Retro-Rock and 'core bands are missing the point about what it means to kick ass with a purpose, a passion, and a fifth of rot gut whiskey. Here's to letting it all hang out and then collapsing in a pool of your own vomit, Allhelluja -style!

Old-school Thrash, Speed and Heavy combined into an ultimate mix of brilliant songs and composition. You will hear extremely raw Judas Priest tunes, varied by Speed-riffs and an Old-school Heavy Metal sound.
If you like speed or a hefty fine mix between the raw Judas Priest and the early Annihilator - go out and buy this album, you won't regret it for one second!

Debut full-length of Turkish Progressive Metal band with thrash rhythms and eastern influences (somewhat of a Turkish, Egyptian, Middle Eastern vibe). Altona manages to display their musical prowess and overall solid songwriting skills to create a well done progressive metal album. Many of the songs often time span their length allowing the instruments to take control and dominate the album. Altona have an impression debut on their hands, it's highly progressive metal with a intriguing vibe. Impressive musical talent reigns, with a strong bass and powerful rhythm section all with strong melodic leads and a decent vocal delivery, there isn't much wrong going on here. It's definitely mood music, atmospheric and powerful, but at times lacking with too much mellow and not enough oomph! Altona starts off strong though lacks a bit at the end, still an interesting listen, though should have stuck with a little more of the metal parts and less progressive doodling.

The second full-length album by the Swedish Melodic Hard Rock band.
This is the band's final album with lead vocalist Anette Olzon, before being selected by Nightwish as their lead singer in 2007.
Olzon's overall performance is quite relaxed yet very convincing; what is surprising is that her subtle vocal approach fits amazingly even with the heavier-faster riffs of the album.
Apart from Olzon, the line up of "Omega" includes Tony Rohtla (guitar), Niclas Olsson (keys), Thomas Löyskä (bass) and Fredrik Eriksson (drums).
If the sound of AOR/Melodic Rock works for you, "Alyson Avenue" will keep you hooked for quite some time. If you are a fan of "Brother Firetribe", you should definitely explore this neighboring -high quality- band! Also recommended for fans of late 80's Whitesnake (on their AOR moments)!!

The third full-length album by the Swedish Melodic Hard Rock/Metal band.
Alyson Avenue is the female fronted band formed during the late ’90s, which arguably contributed to the resurgence of melodic Rock/AOR in the new millennium. Alyson Avenue put out two albums, "Presence Of Mind" in 2000 and "Omega" in 2004, both featuring Anette Olzon on lead vocals who shortly after exited the line up to join Finnish Metal stars Nightwish. With the addition of a male vocalist the members of Alyson Avenue re-grouped under the band-name of Second Heat releasing a self-titled debut before disbanding.
2011 finally sees the release of the new studio album "Changes" by Alyson Avenue now fronted by female vocalist Arabella Vitanic. To be accurate, founders Niclas Olson (keyboards) and Thomas Loyska (bass) put this latest line-up together in 2008; having toured and recorded extensively over the past three years so a full-length album was more than anticipated.
From the opening track, it becomes clear that line up is adamant in recreating the original Alyson Avenue sound established in the previous two albums, which also applies to the lead vocals. Arabella’s singing is practically identical in style and sound to Olzon. So upon first play it all sounds like the original line up Alyson Avenue.
"Changes", as a whole, bares the same high quality standards as the previous two albums in terms of songwriting and performance. In terms of production, "Changes" clearly raises the bar for Alyson Avenue as it is by far the best sounding of the three albums after all the material is mixed and co-produced by Chris Laney an authority in Melodic Rock engineering.
Album includes guest appearances by Anette Olzon (Ex-Nightwish, Ex-Alyson Avenue), Michael Bormann (Ex-Jaded Heart, Charade, BISS), Rob Marcello (Danger Danger, Marcello - Vestry), Fredrik Bergh (Street Talk, Bloodbound), Tommy Stråhle and Mike Andersson (Cloudscape, Planet Alliance).
Overall, "Changes" signifies a new chapter in Alyson Avenue’s history which is not dissimilar to the artistic direction of their past. "Changes" is a faithful continuation of the sound the band shaped a decade ago; therefore under no circumstances will this album alienate long-term fans of the band.
For fans of female fronted AOR/Melodic Hard Rock, "Changes" is nothing less than essential!!

The fifth full-length studio album by legendary Swedish Melodic Death Metal band.
The album continued band's slower, heavier sound, which started on the previous album "Versus The World". Musically, "Fate Of Norns" is Spartan Death Metal built on epic, anthemic melodies, a perfect example of the Iron Maiden/Death Metal fusion tagged the "New Wave of Swedish Heavy Metal".
And lyrically it's still full of Viking imagery, as songs like "Valkyries Ride" and "The Pursuit of Vikings" attest. It's the same theme that these guys have been hammering at since their 1996 debut mini-album, "Sorrow Throughout The Nine Worlds". It's also a theme that literally hundreds of other Scandinavian bands have hammered at too, most of them leaving it a hackneyed corpse ready for the pyre. Which is where Amon Amarth have set themselves apart. These aren't just songs written about Vikings, they are written by Vikings. They're ready for death in "Arson" where one of five left to burn survives and comes back for revenge in that tracks' sequel, "Once Sealed in Blood". Blood lust themes aren't unusual, but Amon Amarth tackle them with a depth often lacking from their contemporaries.
A knotty subject for a band and a style more given to crushing skulls than tears, but that kind of depth is what Amon Amarth have brought to "Fate Of Norns" and what makes it stand out in a sea of barbarian pretenders.
Re-edition features bonus track "Eyes of Horror".

First re-release of the debut full-length studio album by legendary Swedish Melodic Death Metal band.
When a band is named after the Mountain of Doom in Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, you're pretty much guaranteed Epic Metal at its most extravagant. But despite their lyrical bent (including Dungeons & Dragons titles like "Ride for Vengeance", "Victorious March", and "The Dragons' Flight Across the Waves"), Sweden's Amon Amarth eschews the expected Germanic Power Metal usually associated with such subject for brutally intense Scandinavian Death Metal. Firmly rooted in the At the Gates school, the band doesn't really break any new ground here. But they get the job done with plenty of spirit, more than competent songwriting, and excellent musicianship - most notably from future Opeth drummer Martin Lopez. The song that bears the band's namesake is probably the most memorable, as it contains the chaotic noises of battle, the screams of the dying, and much sword-clashing to boot. Ultimately, Amon Amarth's war hymns often take themselves a bit too seriously and are bound to provoke either delirious head-banging or irresistible laughter, but what else would you expect from good Heavy Metal?

The eighth full-length studio album by legendary Swedish Melodic Death Metal band.
Amon Amarth's eighth album is an important one in their discography, because it follows their breakthrough disc, 2008's "Twilight Of The Thunder God". That album, laden with guest appearances (Children of Bodom's Roopi Latvala, Entombed's LG Petrov, the cellists of Apocalyptica), was the Swedish band's most elaborate and powerful statement to date.
The album's ten songs are typical anthemic Amon Amarth tracks, built for headbanging and chanting along with the powerful, warrior's-code choruses. Some, like "Destroyers of the Universe" and "War of the Gods", but particularly "A Beast Am I", are among the fastest songs the band has ever recorded, while others, like "Töck's Taunt: Loke's Treachery, Pt. II" and "The Last Stand of Frej", are slow, even brooding.
The production has a bit more aggression than "Twilight" had, but the songs are arguably even catchier this time out, with some surprisingly clean guitar leads and atmospheric melodies emerging from the hair-spinning roar. A few subtle production flourishes, the sounds of clashing swords on "War of the Gods" and crying ravens on "Töck's Taunt," plus some strings on "For Victory or Death" and the album-closing "Doom Over Dead Man", bolster the sound somewhat, but other than that it's up to the five members of Amon Amarth to keep the listener happy with nothing but guitars, bass, drums, and Johan Hegg's barrel-chested roars, and they do that with admirable skill.
They're one of the most consistent bands in Metal, and this is a terrific example of them playing to their strengths!
