The second full-length studio album by russian Slavonic Pagan Folk Metal band.
With only their second album, the band already shows that they have a really strong experience and capacity to play good music. Don't expect anything dark here, "The Cuckoo's Children" is just a jovial Folk Metal album which uses Russian traditional music to create addictive super positive music.
It's not so hard to describe Kalevala. Just take an accordion and the Polka influences of Finntroll add a female singer, play good festive Metal and voila! You'll really like the accordion and the positive spirit featured on each song!
"The Cuckoo's Children" is perfectly recorded and the sound is loud and powerful. The voice of Kseniya is a bit particular being a bit Pop, but it just fits perfectly to the music and add a cool atmosphere to the songs. The album is perfectly played - the band is really proffessional. And even if it's Folk Metal - you'll listen a good and heavy solo-guitar riffs, this is real Metal!
"The Cuckoo's Children" is an excellent album of catchy fun and festive Folk Metal. If you want to have a beer or let's say a good vodka with your mates, listening to perfect music to party, this album is a must! Kalevala is an excellent discovery and let's hope that they will be exported all across the world or Folk Metal fans will miss something!!

Completely restored and delicately remastered re-release of the seventh full-length studio album by legendary Soviet New Wave/Post-Punk Rock band.
Released only a year before the Victor Tsoi's tragic death, "Zvezda Po Imeni Solnce" was the last album to come out in the singer's lifetime. Recorded in 1989, “Звезда По Имени Солнце” is one of the best albums in band's discography. The lyrics of the album notable for its mostly personal struggle-oriented lyrics and thoughtful, sad, lonely or sometimes sinister atmosphere.
The album went on sale in the summer of 1989. The recording was distributed on compact cassettes. The first official release of the album appeared in 1993, released by Moroz Records. But the quality of the sound was spoiled.
For the first time in the past 30 years, the Original Master Tape has been used for the production of this re-release, including every second restoration of the phonogram. The original band members Yuri Kasparyan and Igor Tikhomirov, as well as Victor Tsoi's son, Alexender, for the first time were involved in the production and approval process.
Referring label and band members, this is the original sound of the album, which was planned from the start!
Limited Extended Edition on three CDs includes remastered version of the album on Mash Heavy Gold CD, non-album single "Вопрос / The Question", recording of a Kino concert performance at the Leningrad Sports and Concert Complex in November 1989 with the presentation of the "Star Called The Sun" program, as well as archival draft mixing of the album. Edition made in the form of two separate plastic boxes, equipped with a separate 48-page booklet (with extensive liner notes and rare/unpublished photos), and packed in a hard external slipcase.

Never released before, the full record session by legendary Soviet New Wave/Post-Punk Rock band.
34 years after its recording, the first ever edition of Kino’s recording session called “Любовь — это не штука”, that was recorded in 1986 and abandoned by the band. Now it was faithfully restored from the original master tapes and published as a historical document. The original band members Yuri Kasparyan and Igor Tikhomirov, as well as Victor Tsoi’s son Alexender were involved in the production and approval process.
The cover artwork was made using the sketch by Andrey Kirsanov, a band’s good friend.
Limited Extended Edition on three CDs also includes “Следи за собой” Single, recording of a Kino concerts performances in Kyiv (1986), and at the IV festival of the Leningrad Rock Club (1986), as well as archival rehearsal recording.
Edition made in the form of two separate plastic boxes, equipped with a separate 48-page booklet (with extensive liner notes and rare/unpublished photos), and packed in a hard external slipcase.

Remastered re-release of the fifth full-length studio album by legendary Soviet New Wave/Post-Punk Rock band.
The edition has been prepared with the utmost attention to detail in sound and graphics.
For the first time, the recording released with a second-by-second restoration of the sound from the original master tape. The album sources are digitization of the original master tape from Andrei Tropillo's studio, a master tape for the editorial staff of Leningrad TV music programs, digitization of the circulation original of Melodiya, and a master copy from the archive of the Harmony studio. There are small but interesting differences in these copies, which detailed in the booklet.
To recreate the original cover, for the first time the negatives of the original photographs were used, exclusively provided by the band's photographer Natasha Vasilyeva-Khull. The final version of the cover of the release differ from the known versions.
