"Red Before Black" is Thrashy, savage, veers into Sludge and back into high velocity Metal in a highly refined, well-produced album. The definition of sound is so clear and the band is so tight here, you can really tell how hard they worked at making this effort stand out. The classic-sounding sick and twisted Extreme Death Metal with lyrics drenched in gore, hate, murder, and necrophilia. Cannibal Corpse, as always, prove the exception!

First re-release of the second full-length studio album by cult American Heavy Metal band.
The first Chastain album to feature Fifth Angel drummer Ken Mary, who replaced Fred Coury, after a suggestion by Shrapnel Records president and talent scout Mike Varney.
On "Ruler Of The Wasteland", Chastain leads his band through a set of well-penned and fairly accessible Heavy Metal tunes with such dramatic titles as "The Battle of Nevermore" and "Angel of Mercy". Lead singer Leather sounds like a female Dio - in a good way. Guitar geeks should stick with Malmsteen, but more mainstream Metal audiences will enjoy Chastain's tough, song-oriented approach.

This holiday-themed album features a mix of original songs and classic Christmas covers, showcasing Cher's unique style. It includes collaborations with friends Stevie Wonder, Cyndi Lauper, Tyga, Darlene Love and Michael Bublé.
It is Cher's first album featuring original material in ten years, following "Closer To The Truth" (2013). Furthermore, it was also her first Christmas album.
On October 6, 2023, Cher released "DJ Play a Christmas Song" as the lead Single from the album. "DJ Play a Christmas Song" debuted at number 94 on the US Billboard Hot 100 on the chart dated December 30, 2023, becoming Cher's first entry on the Hot 100 since "Song for the Lonely" in May 2002. On the week ending October 21, 2023, the song entered the US Billboard Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart at number three, reaching the number one position six weeks later (on the week-ending December 2, 2023). On the week ending November 18, 2023, the song entered the US Billboard Adult Contemporary chart at number 22, attaining the number one position three weeks later (on the week-ending December 9, 2023). In the United Kingdom, the song reached number 18 on the UK Singles Chart. Alternative duet versions with Kelly Clarkson, Giovanni Zarrella and Belinda Peregrín were released in November 2024.
In Canada, the album tracks "DJ Play a Christmas Song", "What Christmas Means to Me" with Stevie Wonder, "Run Rudolph Run", and "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" with Darlene Love gained airplay, charting on the Canadian AC chart, peaking at numbers nine, four, twenty-one, and twenty-five respectively. "DJ Play a Christmas Song" reached number 53 on the Canadian Hot 100.
"Christmas" debuted at number 32 on the US Billboard 200 and number one on the Top Holiday Albums Chart with 21 000 album-equivalent units, from which 20 000 comprised album sales. "Christmas" was declared by Billboard the top-selling seasonal collection of 2023 by traditional album sales, with 133,000 copies sold in the US during the Nov. 4, 2023 through Jan. 6, 2024 period.
In the United Kingdom, the album debuted at number 42 on the UK Albums Chart. In the week of December 22, 2023, it rose to number 5.

The debut full-length studio album by legendary American Glam Metal band.
Cinderella makes its debut in a flash of lightning and a puff of smoke with "Night Songs"! The first album by the band is easily one of best albums of all time. Why? Because Cinderella breaks new ground in many areas, and does it flawlessly. Most notably for this success is Tom Keifer, the lead singer and guitarist for Cinderella. Not only does Tom write most of the songs for Cinderella, but he also gave Hard Rock and Glam Metal a completely new meaning with his amazing falsetto! His voice has a bit of a growl to it, which at times can send chills down your spine, and also is a voice that nobody has matched.
Featuring a minor guest appearance by Jon Bon Jovi positions the band as a Pop-Metal outfit, but with Cinderella's own personality shows through at this point. 
"Night Songs" sold several million copies due to a combination of Cinderella's breakthrough single "Nobody's Fool", MTV airplay, and an opening slot on label mates Bon Jovi's tour, in support of their album "Slippery When Wet".
Leadoff single "Shake Me" failed to chart, but "Nobody's Fool" cracked the Top 20, reaching #13. Third single "Somebody Save Me" went to #66.
The album peaked at #3 on the US charts on February 7, 1987, and was certified double Platinum for selling 2 million copies there twelve days later. In May 1991, it was certified triple Platinum, having 3 million copies sold.

For the first time on vinyl, the debut full-length studio album by American Progressive Power Metal band.
Circle II Circle marks the recording return of former Savatage lead vocalist, Zachary Stevens, after a few years of silence. Circle II Circle was formed by Zak Stevens after his departure from Savatage, after recording four albums. But though this band is very much Stevens' personal vehicle, the bulk of 2003's debut was written with the help of his old Savatage cronies, and it is therefore no surprise that both groups tread quite similar paths. "Watching In Silence" featured guest appearances from Zachary's former bandmates of Savatage, Jon Oliva and Chris Caffery.
The writing for debut began in mid-2001, when Zak and Jon Oliva entered D.O.W. studios in Tampa to start some rough demos of their early ideas. Most songs included on the album were co-written with either Jon Oliva and Chris Caffery. It should be no surprise this sounds a lot like Savatage, considering who’s in the line-up, with the epic arrangements, moody passages, and Zak’s soaring vocals, it could have had ideas for a new Savatage album, being very much in the vein of "Dead Winter Dead" or "Wake of Magellan". The same kinds of vocal melodies, the same kinds of arrangements, the same type of lyrical themes. If anything, Circle II Circle comes across a tad less 'Metallic' and closer to the Melodic Hard Rock (think AOR) that was so popular in the early '80s.
After this record release, the entire band other than Stevens quit and eventually went on to join Oliva in Jon Oliva's Pain.
If you really dig the mellower bits on the last Savatage albums, you need to get this!

Limited Edition release of the first live album by cult American Heavy/Doom Metal band.
Cirith Ungol was formed in 1971, just one year after Black Sabbath released their self-titled debut kickstarting the genre. Taking influence from Progressive and the Hard Rock, as well as the burgeoning Metal scene along the way, the band formed a powerful sound, one that inspired myriad musicians. Cirith Ungol have always been their own animal with a heady brew of Fantasy-inspired lyrics and gripping Metal. They have a certain niche carved alongside acts like Pagan Altar and Manilla Road - true pioneers of pure and true Heavy Metal.
When the band released their first album, “Frost And Fire”, in 1981, they benefitted from the nascent NWOBHM movement.  As the decade progressed, though, it was as if Metal split into two distinct and opposite directions with the MTV crowd at one end and the other occupied by heavier bands.  After having a difficult relationship with their label, Restless Records, the band split up in 1992. Thankfully, though, they reunited in 2016 and have been hard at work since playing festivals across North America and Europe.
“I’m Alive” was recorded live 27.05.2017 at Up The Hammers Festival, Athens, Greece. At twenty-two tracks, this is an album well worth its price tag. The production is thoroughly live with little to no evidence of any major studio fixes or tricks. Tonally, the guitar is pure, undiluted overdriven Marshall JCM800, the staple of the ‘80s. It is a thick sound with plenty of girth and Metallic rage. The drums are captured with a very lively sound, solid and organic. Tim Baker’s vocals are as lethal as ever as he still rules over the microphone like a despotic ancient warlord from a Robert E. Howard or Michael Moorcock story.  Weatherby’s bass sounds huge. Though not particularly overindulgent, it is an articulate sound with plenty of presence that never gets buried in the mix. Few bands can really pull something like that off without sounding over-busy but Cirith Ungol are veterans, certainly members of the Heavy Metal elite! Cirith Ungol were essentially paving the way for bands like Iced Earth and their collaboration with Todd McFarland on “The Dark Saga”.  Everything about this album speaks to the professional aspect of the band. Because of that vital experience in the business, the band understands well what the fans want and caters to them particularly the die-hards. If you can find this for a decent price on vinyl - buy it!  It is not only a solid investment, but genuine Heavy Metal magic!!

The first re-release of the first EP by legendary American Hardcore/Punk/Thrash Metal band.
Corrosion Of Conformity started in June 1982 as a Hardcore Punk act, who expanded their sound and incorporated Thrash Metal for their groundbreaking 1985 release “Animosity”. “Animosity” went on to become one of the first Metal/Punk Crossover records.
“Technocracy” EP was released in 1987 by Metal Blade Records and re-released in 1992 on CD in USA via Relativity Records, with four additional songs, including three demo versions of songs from the EP with bassist Mike Dean singing.
Corrosion Of Conformity sound evolved further in the 1990s, journeying into a more Stoner and Southern inspired Metal direction.

Tenth full-length album by legendary British Symphonic Black/Extreme Gothic Metal band.
A more reviled, deified, and overtly controversial group has yet to come from the primordial ooze of Metallic devolution. Cradle of Filth return with a new foray into a female based concept album and the formula - akin to “Cruelty And The Beast”- appears to be a winner. From 1994 till 2008 Cradle of Filth changed their style with every album they released. You cannot state that their first album resemblances “Dusk And Her embrace” or even “Cruelty And The Beast”. There is no band’s album in this time span that should be labeled as a copy cat of another, as their music progressed in such a manner that the term “Black Metal” doesn’t suit them by far. This album is yet another concept album and like their previous album, “Godspeed On The Devil's Thunder”, it is another step toward the mainstream. This album uses more tremolo picking, rather than power choral structure, however, so it is a step back toward the early days of Cradle of Filth.

The seventh full-length studio album by Irish Celtic Folk/Black Metal band.
Band’s most powerful offering to date, and quite possible Cruachan’s strongest album in their already quite lengthy career!
Cruachan has created a record that fits in perfectly with what you would expect from such a release: it has an epic build-up of lyrics and guitar solos, yet created around a very easy-listenable and catchy frame, which goes for all of the many impressively played instruments. It is this organic feel and authentic package with the lyrics going hand in hand with the music, which sets the band apart from most of their peers and the conviction is palpable.
"Blood For The Blood God" is the second part of the ‘blood’ trilogy begun with 2011’s "Blood On The Black Robe" (a record, which saw the band return to their Black Metal roots), that contains several stories and myths pertaining to Celtic history, delivered in a classical Folk Metal fashion (which includes several Folk instruments; in this case an Irish bagpipe, flutes, whistles and violins).
Without a doubt one of the best Folk Metal albums of 2014, and it is good to see the band still going strong and pushing their envelope after all these years!
Gatefold double vinyl release includes bonus disc, which features:
- re-recording of a song with the same title from the “Pagan” album 2004 (Track 1);
- demo versions of songs from the “Blood For The Blood God” album (Tracks 2, 3, 4, with track 3 and 4 presented here under their working title);
- songs from the “I Am Warrior” demo (Tracks 5, 6, 7 - all three were re-recorded and used on the 2011 “Blood On The Black Robe” album).

The third full-length studio album by legendary American Pop singer.
The album was originally set to be released in 1988, under the name "Kindred Spirit", but was delayed until 1989 and the songs from the initial project were reworked.
On "True Colors", Cyndi Lauper began to edge her way into adult contemporary territory, but it was on "A Night To Remember" that she concentrated all of her attention on becoming a self-consciously "mature" singer/songwriter. 
Although the album is called "A Night To Remember", Lauper jokingly preferred to call it "A Night To Forget", given its poor reviews and disappointing sales, compounded by the problems she encountered with producer and boyfriend David Wolf⁠f during the production of the album.
The album sold moderately well but did not enjoy the same commercial success of her two previous albums, despite the success of the album's lead Single, "I Drove All Night", which became a Top 10 hit, her last in the U.S.A., earning Lauper a Grammy nomination. In the UK, however, "A Night To Remember" was Lauper's highest-charting album, peaking at No.9. According to the book "St. James Encyclopedia of Popular Culture (Volume 3)", the album sold half a million copies in the United States in 1989.
Although not certified by RIAA, BPI, and others trade associations, the album was certified Platinum in Australia and United Kingdom and Gold in Germany, Italy, and United States. Worldwide, the album has sold more than 1.5 million copies.

It is the first Single from from Lauper’s debut album, “She's So Unusual”.
"Girls Just Want to Have Fun" was written in 1979 by Rock musician Robert Hazard, who performed it with various bands in the Philadelphia area, and enjoyed some local college radio airplay with a demo recording he made. Hazard wrote it as a Rock song coming from the male perspective. Singer-songwriter Cyndi Lauper made this song famous in 1983 by as a Pop-Electronic song. Lauper "flipped the script" and made it carry a feminist attitude by subtly changing some of the lyrics and fully the sound. Lauper's version gained recognition as a feminist anthem and was promoted by an MTV Video Music Award–winning music video. It has been covered by more than 30 other artists.
The single was Lauper's breakthrough hit, reaching No. 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and becoming a worldwide hit throughout late 1983 and early 1984. It is considered one of Lauper's signature songs and was a popular song during the 1980s.
The lists "Rolling Stone and MTV: '100 Greatest Pop Songs': 1–50", "Rolling Stone: The 100 Top Music Videos" and "VH1: 100 Greatest Videos" ranked the song at No. 22, No. 39 and No. 45 respectively. The song received Grammy nominations for Record of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 27th Annual Grammy Awards.
The song's success overshadowed Hazard's own music career. His 1984 album, "Wing Of Fire" was a sales disappointment at the same time that Lauper's version of "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" was going Gold, making him a millionaire. After Lauper claimed in interviews to have co-written the song, Hazard served her with a cease and desist letter. He was able to buy a New Jersey lake house and a horse farm from the song's royalties, although he said that federal taxes took most of the money.
Lauper released a new version, "Hey Now (Girls Just Want to Have Fun)", as the first Single from her 1994 compilation album "Twelve Deadly Cyns... and Then Some". It reached the top 10 in several countries. In 2013, "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" was remixed by Yolanda Be Cool for the 30th-anniversary reissue of "She's So Unusual".
