The twelfth full-length studio album by cult Ukrainian Atmospheric Black Metal band.
Drudkh is ushering in the cold darkness and alluring decay of autumn with this album.
The album offers an incredible emotional maturity and natural flawlessness amidst prolonged russian aggression against Ukraine. While it includes only four songs, it rages on for over 45 minutes, delivering an epic maelstrom of grandiose melodies, devastating aggression, and the cold atmospheric passages that have come to define Drudkh’s unmistakable sound.
Drudkh was founded twenty years ago, uniting two black metal enthusiasts – Roman Saenko and Thurios (before in Hate Forest) are in the band from the first days, but Krechet and Vlad joined them four years after. So without any further ado we just can admit, this line-up is really stable and cohesive, united by the same artistic ideas – love of nature, fondness for poetry and local folklore.
Through disastrous and desperate perspectives, there’s always some kind of hope, some bright spark of light in the thickset of dense forest; something promising and reassuring, even in the darkest of times. And it doesn’t matter how raw they play in their devastating fury or how painfully beautiful they present their creativity, even during the most aggressive and bestial parts this epitome of melancholy still lingers. The album will steal your attention, enticing you in the spiritual depths with tranquil passion and devilish sangfroid. Strange cathartic feeling, when the opposite emotions transform into absolute harmony.

The debut and only full-length album by Russian Symphonic Black Metal band.
Dryados's music is fairly different to any other band you'll ever hear. The music tends to change all the time. All instruments are balanced well and you can hear everything perfectly. The keyboards on songs like "Who's Your God Now" and "Phantasm" will make you happy. They are so haunting but so melodic as well. The drums are fast-paced and are there for the support of the keyboards to create an epic atmosphere. The vocals are a different thing though. They're the most interesting thing.The vocalist sings so well. Dryados loves creating melodies at the start of the songs and never repeating them at all. It's a trick to get listeners to listen to tracks over and over. Different mixture of vocals are here as well which spice things up for the listener. The lyrics deserve a mention as well. They're about how corrupt people are these days. They're worth reading.
There is no female vocals nor orchestral vocals. This is a must purchase album to any person who thinks bands like Limbonic Art or Emperor has mastered Symphonic Black Metal - yet again you'll probably avoid it since you know you'll be proven wrong! Romantic Sympho Black Metal for all fans of genre!!
