One of the longest-running Swedish Death Metal bands has created a sound and style which has been an inspiration for a number of Extreme Metal bands. The band started in 1986 under the name Corpse and changed it to Grave in 1988. The band had particular success in the early 1990s, and their first four albums, "Into The Grave", "You’ll Never See…", "Soulless" and "Hating Life", cemented their reputation as one of Sweden’s foremost Death Metal bands.
"…And Here I Die… Satisfied" features brand new, rare and remixed tracks encompassing the band’s entire recording history. Designed to mark the end of an era for the outfit, this mini-album set the stage for the release of the trio’s long-awaited third full-length offering.

If any person wants to start listening to Grave, their debut should be the first album that should be introduced! This is totally Grave's best album!! As you listen to this album, you could notice that it's filled with influences from Autopsy and Sepultura, but it's as if Autopsy or Sepultura went down to the depths of hell, came back, and recorded this album. That's what this album sounds like. It's far more aggressive and brutal than Severed Survival, Sepultura's “Schizophrenia” and “Beneath The Remains” (though, those albums are masterpieces as well). The album isn't extremely long to where you want to shoot yourself because you can't finish it, and it's not too short. It's approximately forty-two minutes, a perfect length, and those will be the most brutal forty-two minutes of your life! The musicianship on this album is excellent, is some of the best from any band in the Swedish Death Metal scene!
Overall, this album is definitely Grave's best album and one of the best Death Metal debuts worldwide. “Into The Grave” is one unbelievably insane album with intense songs that will completely get you hooked on this band!!
Re-issue includes “Tremendous Pain” EP, rare pre-production demo track, tracks from "In The Eyes Of Death I" Compilation and previously unreleased versions of tracks + “Soulles” video as a bonuses.

Grave followed their classic debut, "Into the Grave", with an equally fearsome, if less recognized album. Swedish oldschool Death Metal in the vein of Entombed and Dismember, but with a heavier and more malevolent feel. The songs on "You'll Never See..." are constructed of simple riffs and relatively straightforward compositions, Technical Death Metal. Grave's charm instead lies in the conviction of their delivery rather than their instrumental prowess. Every song is in fused with an all-consuming, yet organic heft and seething brutality. The tracks are a mix of mid-paced chugging, slow grooves and occasional bursts of speed. The vocals are a fairly deep, guttural growl, but not entirely indecipherable. The drumming is simple but effective, with liberal use of double bass. Guitar solos are short, uncluttered affairs, competent and well-placed, but not overly heroic. The album recorded at legendary Sunlight Studios.
What makes this album great is that Grave’s reach never exceeds their grasp. Grave set out to create a brutally heavy, evil Death Metal record, and they succeed in spades. The album flows seamlessly from one thick slab of death to the next with unrelenting power. “You’ll Never See...” is a crushing classic, a pleasure for every Death Metal fan… buy it without fear!
Remastered re-release includes “…And Here I Die… Satisfied” mini-album as a bonus.
