Debut full-length album by Malaysian Brutal Death Metal/Grindcore band.
Damokis are neither a Carcass - worship and -copycat, nor another Porngrind band. This four-piece is also heavily influenced by those old European Stenchcore bands from the late 1980s, like, for example, Intense Degree and Filthy Christians. They must be one of the oldest bands there, since they are around since 1995 and released several splits, an EP and at least one demo. After 12 years of hiatus, releasing several splits and singles, Damokis makes a triumphant return with a debut full-length!
"Grinding Mother Whore" quite a pleasure to listen to, just like the frequent use of movie- and even comedy-samples. These samples also prove Damokis to be not too serious in their intentions. Sounds like refreshing stuff? It is, even though it sometimes sound pretty outdated.
What you are holding and likely listening to now is the distinct vibes riffs yet catchy tracks from this fat Grinders. Hailing from Malaysia, this 30 minutes of old school Grindcore are mixes with the likes of Insect Warfare and Groinchurn!
Come on, give old fashioned stench and Grindcore a chance!! A Must for all Grindcore Lovers!!!
