Remastered re-release on CD of the cult compilation album of 80’s!!
“Lead Weight” was one of the most important NWOBHM or generally Metal compilations ever made! Nevertheless, it’s never been re-released in its original form and that, ladies & gents, is a major Rock’n'Roll crime! Guess it’s kind of hard to explain what this album meant (& means) for many people back in the days before internet, personal computers and cell phones.
NWOBHM classics here, not the least of which being the tracks from: Raven, Venom, Blitkrieg, Warrior, Aragorn... lesser so for the other tracks. But the whole thing is a genre landmark, being first sampler chock full of essential bands from the movement.
Reissues of compilations are rare, simply because most compilations don't really matter in the long run. But “Lead Weight” from 1981, originally released on Neat Records, was a definitive example of the great NWOBHM movement; an album treasured upon its release and still looked on favorably by all fans of the sound and the times.
Krescendo now reissues it, and that's a beautiful thing!

Iron Maiden is one of the essential names in Heavy Metal. “The Many Faces Of Iron Maiden" pays tribute to one of the most important Heavy Metal bands of all time, featuring the work of many of their former members and an exploration of their fantastic catalog.
By the mid-70s, the Metal scene was dying; the bands were repeating themselves and critics were automatically despising each new album of the genre, as soon as they were released. The emergence of Punk in England in 1976 allowed Rock music to be seen again as something trendy. That gave a new generation of British Heavy Metals bands, the opportunity to surge in the shadows of Punk music. Tribute compilation album to the cult German Black/Thrash Metal band.
An amazing tribute of thirty bands from more than seventeen countries, all packed on two CDs, twenty pages booklet and 8662 seconds of complete Black/Thrash madness!!
Talking about the real legends of true Underground, the bands who deserved not only appreciation but also true followers, we must definitely draw the line and single out one name – Desaster. This German band is an example of true elite dark thing, satanic Thrash Metal madness and consistence in their beliefs. The band was formed in the late ’80 by two devoted Metal maniacs who, in their beginnings, base their work on bands like Venom, Hellhammer, etc. Today this unstoppable machine can be proud of seven studio albums and loads of split and live editions. Desaster is a band that bares the core of Extreme Metal for 27 years, roaming on the wings of harsh Black Metal sound, repelling all untrue metal followers and luring the ones hungry for true bloody Metal.
The compilation begins with fiery live intro taken from a Desaster’s live album “Live in Serbian Hell” which came out in 2003 in a cassette edition for “Awaken Productions”. The intro itself indicates that a complete madness awaits us on both discs. The first in a row of dirty raw Desaster’s sons is no one else but the Serbian Black Metal band Kolac, which covered the song “Crypts of Dracul”, taken from the album “A Touch Of Medieval Darkness” published in 1996. The next song was assigned to the Greek horde Slaughtered Priest who plays the song “Metalized Blood” that shattered many bones in the tangled labyrinths of moshpits on its live performances. “The Swords Will Never Sink” was performed by a Columbian band Guerra Total which covered it amazingly. The songs “Sworn to Avenge” (Volcanic), “Beasts of Wrath and Victory” (Bloodthirst) and “Venomous Stench” (Bonehunter) announce that the complete madness is yet to come. The song “Hellbangers” was played by the Desaster’s countrymen Fatal Embrace. “Hellfire's Dominion”, “Symphony of Vengeance”, “Spare No Coward” and “Past...Present...Forever” were performed by phenomenal bands Extirpation, Satanika, Invocacion and phenomenal Triumphant from Austria. The thirteenth piece was assigned to a Serbian band Terrorhammer from Pancevo. A fast and raw song called “Witchcraft” was performed by the German Black Thrash Metal maniacs Nocturnal Witch. The song “And the Powers Above” was covered by a young Serbian band Tirani which is a combination of members from the bands Edain and May Result. The songs “Caslteland” and “Profanation” performed by The Meads Of Asphodel and Sanctifier, are closing the first CD of this compilation.
The second disc lasting 74 minutes consists of 15 covers among which are Futhark (“Hell-Born”), Speed Command (“Face of Darkness”), Hellocaustor (“Teutonic Steel”), Lux Divina (“In a Winter Battle”), Witchburner (“Divine Blasphemies”), Nocturnal (“Tears of an Old Wizard”), Hellsword (“Alliance to the Powerthrone”), In Corpore Mortis (“As the Deadworld Calls”), War-Head (“Nekropolis Kartago”), Incinerador (“Into a Magical Night”), Dirges (“Expect No Release”), Enoid (“Sacrilege”), Evil (“Thou Shalt Be King”), Siculicidum (“Skyline in Flame / A Touch of Medieval Darkness”), Graves Of Saints (“In the Ban of Satan's Sorcery”).
All in all, this compilation will certainly be talked about for a quite some time, and it definitely supports the true Underground legion like Desaster in the best possible way. Interestingly, among many European bands that participated in the compilation, a large number of bands are from Colombia. In the end, we must say that this compilation consists of thirty bands from more than 17 countries performing Desaster’s songs on two CDs of pure Black/Thrash Metal madness! If you aren’t a passionate Underground Metal lover, this compilation certainly isn’t for you, but we salute to all of the chosen Metal warriors who will find themselves and enjoy this compilation with the message: We Worship Desaster!!

Fifh full-length studio album by the Progressive Metal band Vanden Plas, released on March 31, 2006 by InsideOut Music. This concept album interprets the novel “The Count of Monte Cristo”, exploring the story of a man imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit and following his chain of vengeful murders through the eyes of "X," an Interpol detective assigned to the case. Throughout the course of the album, both characters come to terms with their goals; X realizes just how similar the nature of his work is to Christ-0's, while 0 repents for the sins of his vengeance and commits suicide. The lyrics make several contemporary references, alluding to modern movies (e.g. “Silence of the Lambs”) and organizations (Interpol).
The band employed a forty-piece choir for the first time in this album. Lead vocalist Andy Kuntz stated that such orchestral elements were new to Vanden Plas and attributes this experimentation with the four-year wait since their previous album, “Beyond Daylight”.
The first copies of “Christ 0” contained a bonus track “Gethsemane”. This track is a cover of a song from “Jesus Christ Superstar” of the same name.

First re-release of the fourth full-length studio album by legendary Polish Death Metal band.
An inscrutable furtherance of the Slayers' notoriety - Vader depicts a more artistic and fulfilling impression of Slayer, an impressive accomplishment on its own. On this composition, "Litany", the music is accompanied by less technical proficiency, but with an elevated understanding of the extremities involved in making this music a revelation to Death Metal and all radical dogmas in general. This album is a creation of less finesse than "Black To The Blind" but of reasonable mellifluousness which makes it a romantic experience.
Unlike other prominent projects such as Cynic, Death, Immolation and such during the decade of the release of this material, the vigor of Vader is in the competence of the band to work in utmost cooperation, all instruments being woven together masking the artwork and display of ideologies that Vader attempts to promulgate through "Litany". Structures drift through abstract quantities of aggression and intolerance as the guitar layers provide the essence of the pummelling music on this album, as drums caress each riff with unparalleled blast bleats and double bass frantic activity as Vader acrobat themselves through high speeds and chaotic poems of endurance. 
The quintessential idea about Vader is the friendliness of the guitar frenzy. Effortless tremolo commotion accompanied by the viscous palm mute picking create the relentlessness which Vader is famous for, although at counterpoints twists and turns incorporate the beautiful aesthetic brought throughout the years. Vader dominate rhythm sections of consummate texture and definitive conception of guitar models, probably even more well thought of in a subtle manner than James Hetfield or Dimebag Darrel could ever manage. The inclusion of some minor scale tapped solos is ultimately a distinction many who have no heard Vader before will notice, this aids in the expansion of the musical agenda a band like this.
What differentiates this material from previous artistry is the flawless tempo, which assists the headbanging turmoil one experiences after exposure to the album. Whilst "Black To The Blind" contained an appreciation of the depth of structuring and percussive feel, "Litany" blows away with objective resilient structuring and furthermore employs the virtuous drumming of deceased member Doc.
"Litany" remains as a continuation of the rebellious nature of the destructive genre known as Death Metal, it stands as an invocation to the minds and ears of any individual who wishes to learn, this philosophically based material promotes the sedition of all Nietzsche influenced individuals within the genre, one does not need to delve into the lyrical content in the booklet to see that Vader are intelligent musicians with the intent of influencing the world, for "Litany", is truly a call to mankind.
The album was nominated for a Fryderyk Award in the category 'Hard & Heavy Album of the Year’. The album charted at number 1 on Gazeta Wyborcza bestsellers list in Poland.
This release is a crowning achievement in Death Metal! 100% punishing!!

An inscrutable furtherance of the Slayers' notoriety - Vader depicts a more artistic and fulfilling impression of Slayer, an impressive accomplishment on its own. On this composition, "Litany", the music is accompanied by less technical proficiency, but with an elevated understanding of the extremities involved in making this music a revelation to Death Metal and all radical dogmas in general. This album is a creation of less finesse than "Black To The Blind" but of reasonable mellifluousness which makes it a romantic experience.
Unlike other prominent projects such as Cynic, Death, Immolation and such during the decade of the release of this material, the vigor of Vader is in the competence of the band to work in utmost cooperation, all instruments being woven together masking the artwork and display of ideologies that Vader attempts to promulgate through "Litany". Structures drift through abstract quantities of aggression and intolerance as the guitar layers provide the essence of the pummelling music on this album, as drums caress each riff with unparalleled blast bleats and double bass frantic activity as Vader acrobat themselves through high speeds and chaotic poems of endurance. 
The quintessential idea about Vader is the friendliness of the guitar frenzy. Effortless tremolo commotion accompanied by the viscous palm mute picking create the relentlessness which Vader is famous for, although at counterpoints twists and turns incorporate the beautiful aesthetic brought throughout the years. Vader dominate rhythm sections of consummate texture and definitive conception of guitar models, probably even more well thought of in a subtle manner than James Hetfield or Dimebag Darrel could ever manage. The inclusion of some minor scale tapped solos is ultimately a distinction many who have no heard Vader before will notice, this aids in the expansion of the musical agenda a band like this.
What differentiates this material from previous artistry is the flawless tempo, which assists the headbanging turmoil one experiences after exposure to the album. Whilst "Black To The Blind" contained an appreciation of the depth of structuring and percussive feel, "Litany" blows away with objective resilient structuring and furthermore employs the virtuous drumming of deceased member Doc.
"Litany" remains as a continuation of the rebellious nature of the destructive genre known as Death Metal, it stands as an invocation to the minds and ears of any individual who wishes to learn, this philosophically based material promotes the sedition of all Nietzsche influenced individuals within the genre, one does not need to delve into the lyrical content in the booklet to see that Vader are intelligent musicians with the intent of influencing the world, for "Litany", is truly a call to mankind.
The album was nominated for a Fryderyk Award in the category 'Hard & Heavy Album of the Year’. The album charted at number 1 on Gazeta Wyborcza bestsellers list in Poland.

The eighth full-length studio album by legendary Polish Death Metal band.
“Necropolis” features another revamped line-up and a loose concept that ties the whole album together. Vader has never been a band with steady members, but since the band is largely the brainchild of vocalist/guitarist Peter Wiwczarek, the constant revolving door of musicians never affected the band’s intense brand of Death Metal. “Necropolis” broadens the band’s core sound with attempts made at ambient sound pieces alongside the standard aggressive onslaught. Even with a few moments of broad ambiance, there is still an emphasis on fast, punctual songs that begin and end with guns-a-blazing.
Initially, it seems like “Necropolis” is similar to previous Vader albums. Wiwczarek’s growls are as audibly vile as they have ever been, evil is the band’s best lyrical friend, and the riffs are as sharp as a butcher’s knife. “Devilizer” and “Rise Of The Undead” are potential future live cuts, with catchy choruses to chant along to and reckless guitar harmonies to incite circle pits a mile wide. The songs are much shorter this time around, with a few of the quicker numbers not even breaking the two-minute mark. This frenzied approach to songwriting lends itself to a rapid progression from one song to the next, with all the excess fat chewed off.
The two interludes, “The Seal” and “Summoning The Futura”, ascertain an ominous tone that defines a dark mystique to the album. The former is largely guitar feedback, with slow chanting building up to a stark collapse, while the latter is a cheesy call to the almighty beast of darkness. Both tracks are squished together with the weaker tracks of the album. “Dark Heart” has an awkward vocal approach, where Wiwczarek tries out a frantic, rhyming style that sounds out of place. The trade-off solos are a nice touch, but the vocals definitely halt the momentum.
“Dark Heart” is more the exception than the rule, as the rest of “Necropolis” is solid Death Metal with a Thrash undertone, especially with the bile-spewed mayhem of “Anger”. Closer “When The Sun Drowns In Dark” has a simple, one-note riff that is about as mainstream as Vader can possibly get.
And for dessert two great covers of Venom and Metallica will kill you with all majesty!
Even after a major shift in the line-up, Vader stays on track with “Necropolis”. Wiwczarek’s riffs and melodies are still potent, while his solos are screeching suicide bombers exploding in the night sky. The songs don’t screw about, avoiding a meandering pace by keeping everything tight and composed. After 25-plus years, Wiwczarek and company still have a large presence in the crowded Death Metal game, showing younger bands that there is still a ton of fury left in the Polish juggernaut!!
This is the first Vader release that features drummer Paweł "Paul" Jaroszewicz. A video was shot for the song "Never Say My Name", which is based partially on the book "The Gospel According To Satan" by Patrick Graham.
The album was nominated for a Fryderyk Award in the category 'Heavy Metal Album of the Year'. It was sold around 1130 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The album reached number 19 on the Billboard "Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers)". In Poland, "Necropolis" landed at position No. 5, and dropped out five weeks later. The album also charted in France and Germany.

The fifth full-length studio album by legendary Polish Death Metal band.
The release was preceded by "Angel Of Death" – the fourth Single of the band, which was released by Empire Record in Poland only, on 10 April 2002. The release features two songs, "When Darkness Calls" and "Angel of Death"(Thin Lizzy cover), studio report, and multimedia presentation with 44 photos.
"Revelations" features guest appearances from Polish metal musicians Nergal of Behemoth and Ureck of Lux Occulta.
A music video was shot for the song "Epitaph".
The album was nominated for a Fryderyk Award in the category "Heavy Metal Album of the Year (Album Roku - Heavy Metal)".
"Revelations" is another strong album from Polish Death Metal legends. Lots of groove fill, the pulverizing riffs of brutality. Vader continually proved why they are among the best in the genre, and "Revelations" does nothing to dispute that. Piotr Wiwczarek delivers for Vader fans, as he always seems to do!

Getting down to business, Vader is back with another full-length after teasing the Metal world with 2003’s "Blood" EP. As reliable as a Japanese automobile, we are treated with Vader’s umpteenth release of quality, no-frills Death Metal, performed in the fine Polish tradition.
Old School, mid to fast-paced simplistic Death Metal, highlighted by top-notch drumwork (Daray on this album, filling in for Doc) and the excellent, hoarse-throated vocals of Peter. Their guitarwork is not overly technical, but never fails to get heads bobbing. But regardless, the end result is the quality of the notes played, not the quantity.
This is an easy album to enjoy even if you aren’t typically a rabid Death Metaller. The non-gutteral vocals help to that end. Relentless double-bass drumming is the foundation for the cold riffage within. Vader also tries their hand at playing clean guitar passages. Slayer riffs, adept and appropriate solos, Peter’s bark…what more do you need? Ultimately, Vader will provided you with yet another satisfying album. The "Beast" satisfies because this is the kind of Death Metal that absolutely rocks in concert, as well as pretty much anywhere else. This is a Vader album, you know what to expect after all these years, act accordingly!

Debut full-length album by russian Melodic Gothic Metal band.
It’s an emotional Gothic Metal, beyond style. Female vocal with Russian lyrics presented on this album (booklet contains also all lyrics in English). According to the author of the lyrics, Wetri – it reflects the way where "to know yourself, to find your place in life, it is necessary first of all to accept your own death, to accept yourself as something quite ordinary, then take the pain you inflict by loved ones and through this pain to learn to love".
The artwork painted by artist Alla Bobyleva, who worked on CDs of such band as Lacrimosa: "I Lost My Star" and "Schattenspiel". 12 pages booklet made by Polish designer Marek "Ptys" Jastrzebski, who worked for Helloween, Hell:On, Quo Vadis... etc.
The album was recorded at several studios in Moscow, including StudioVadikan. Mastered by famous Finnish producer Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM, Apocalyptica, Sentenced, Theatre Of Tragedy, Entwine, The 69 Eyes).

The first Australian release of the sixth full-length studio album by legendary American Hard Rock band.
The last Van Halen album until "A Different Kind Of Truth" (2012) to feature lead singer David Lee Roth, who left in 1985 following creative differences. As of 2019, this would be the final full-length album to feature all four original members (Van Halen brothers, Roth, and Michael Anthony). Roth would return in 2007, but Eddie's son Wolfgang would replace Anthony in 2006.
"1984" and debut album are Van Halen's bestselling albums, each having sold more than 10 million copies. Rolling Stone ranked the album number 81 on its list of the 100 Greatest Albums of the 1980s. It reached number two on the Billboard 200 album chart and remained there for five weeks, behind Michael Jackson's "Thriller" (on which guitarist Eddie Van Halen made a guest performance).
