Re-release of the debut full-length album by the Finnish Melodic Gothic/Groove Metal band.
After three demo releases, this Finnish band has finally landed a label deal and they present us with their first full-length album. A great mix of crunching heavy riffs and melody, their songs are heavy, catchy and instantly likeable. With this new album, the band has re-recorded three tracks from their "Suicide Serenade" demo as well as two tracks from two first demos. As good as this album is, it really is not all that surprising as even with their demo recordings, the quality and talent of this band was quite evident. "Yesterday's Grave" presents the band in it's truest form; crunching heavy with thrashy riffs and a dark depressive, suicide infatuated Metal that has lots of melody, a brand of Metal that Sentenced brought to the Metal scene years ago. Misery Inc. utilized a modern Death Metal sound while also incorporating the harsh-clean vocal dynamic of many Metalcore bands.
Very melodic and catchy in the style of modern Finnish bands but with a vibe similar to older Sentenced!
Re-edition with completely new artwork and bonus disc containing the band's first three demos: "Chains" (2001), "For Your Misery Only" (2002) and "Suicide Serenade" (2003)!!

Finland’s Misery Inc. play a Heavy Metal/Power Metal based form of Melodic Death Metal meets Thrash meets Goth Rock. Second album from this Finnish band, and about 20 steps forward from their debut. Catchier, heavier, more melodic, more diverse.
It sounds like Europe crossed with fellow Fins Machine Men, Edge of Sanity and Sentenced and reminds of a cross between Sentenced, Metallica, Shadows Fall, Children Of Bodom, Amorphis and HIM, yet they absolutely carry their own patented sound.
One of the best Finnish metal albums of the year 2006, no doubt. Fans of In Flames and Soilwork go and grab this masterpiece!
