James Hetfield signature 'Black Fang' Dunlop 1.14 mm (the gauge James uses) guitar pick featuring artwork by James and by Dunlop.
From ass-kicking Metallica epics like "Motor Breath" to new thrashers like "Cyanide", riff master James Hetfield's venomous style has inspired many. Preferring picks with a bright tone and biting attack, Hetfield looked to Dunlop for the perfect tool for his fierce downward picking style. Based on a vintage tortoise-shell pick, the Black Fang is made of tough, sturdy Ultex material with a defined tone and sharp attack. Its pointed and contoured tip gives you ultimate speed and control-perfect for players looking to unleash their tone clearer, faster, and with unrivaled precision. It's fast, bright, and strong because of its hard point and material, says the man himself. It gives you everything you need-just add venom.

A collaboration full-length studio album between Rock singer-songwriter Lou Reed and legendary Heavy/Thrash Metal band Metallica, with the project name LULU.
The conception of the project began in 2009 when both Metallica and Lou Reed performed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 25th Anniversary Concert. It is inspired by German expressionist writer Frank Wedekind’s plays “Earth Spirit” and “Pandora’s Box”, which tell the story of a young abused dancer’s life and relationships, and are now collectively known as the Lulu plays. Since their publication in the early 1900s, the plays have been the inspiration for a silent film (“Pandora’s Box”, 1929), an opera, and countless other creative endeavors. The plays challenged the sexual and moral standards of their day and have remained highly controversial. Originally the lyrics and musical landscape for “Lulu” were sketched out by Lou for a theatrical production in Berlin. After Lou performed with Metallica at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame concerts in New York in 2009 they all knew they wanted to make more music together. The Lulu project began in May 2011 at HQ studios in Northern California, with Lou’s lyrics as the starting point.Sister Ray Enterprises Inc./We're Only In It For The Music/Universal Music/Vertigo, 2011 (602527815978). Re-release of the ninth full-length studio album by legendary American Thrash Metal band.
Album was released on September 12, 2008 through Warner Bros. Records. It was the band's first album to feature bassist Robert Trujillo and the first to be produced by Rick Rubin (Slayer’s producer), making this Metallica's first album since “...And Justice for All” (1988) that was not produced by Bob Rock.
“Death Magnetic” features very long, technical guitar solos from both Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield, marking a return to the band's Thrash Metal roots. “Death Magnetic” also the band's first album released through Warner Bros. Records, although they still remain with Warner Music Group, which also owns their previous label, Elektra Records. Outside of North America, they are distributed through Universal Music Group as they remain signed to Vertigo Records in the United Kingdom. The album is also the band's fifth consecutive studio album to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 in the United States, making Metallica the first band ever to do so.

Remastered re-release of the cover songs compilation album by legendary American Thrash Metal band.
After years of success, critical acclaim, personal loss, and fan backlash, Metallica had seen it all. It also seemed that they had done everything they had really wanted to do. So, the question was quite simply: what to do next? Easy, make a covers' album!
Metallica has always enjoyed playing covers, and this collection is a nice salute to their long career and the bands they enjoy listening to. “Garage Inc.” Sadly, this is the best thing that they might have done in the 90s since the “Black Album”.
Overall, Metallica’s “Garage Inc.” is quite an interesting little insight into the influences of Metallica. Also, it is quite interesting, is what they do to modify each song to fit them. “Garage Inc.” is best suited for fans that might not have the budget or time to track down all of these separate releases.

The third full-length studio album by legendary American Thrash Metal band.
“Master Of Puppets” marks the last Metallica album with bassist Cliff Burton, who died in a bus accident while touring to promote the album.
Even though "Master Of Puppets" didn't take as gigantic a leap forward as "Ride The Lightning", it was the band's greatest achievement, hailed as a masterpiece by critics far outside Heavy Metal's core audience. It was also a substantial hit, reaching the Top 30 and selling three million copies despite absolutely nonexistent airplay.
Instead of a radical reinvention, "Master Of Puppets" is a refinement of past innovations. In fact, it's possible to compare "Ride The Lightning" and "Master Of Puppets" song for song and note striking similarities between corresponding track positions on each record. Though it isn't as startling as "Ride The Lightning", "Master Of Puppets" feels more unified, both thematically and musically. Everything about it feels blown up to epic proportions, and the band feels more in control of its direction. The arrangements are thick and muscular, and the material varies enough in texture and tempo to hold interest through all its twists and turns.
Some critics have called "Master Of Puppets" the best Heavy Metal album ever recorded; if it isn't, it certainly comes close. The album reached #29 on the U.S. Billboard 200 album chart and was the band's first Gold record for sales of over 500,000 copies. This was done without any radio airplay or the release of a music video. The album eventually was certified 6 x Platinum by the RIAA.
The album is considered a classic Thrash Metal album by fans, critics and the band members themselves, and is considered to be one of the most influential Heavy Metal albums of all time!!

30th Anniversary Limited Deluxe Edition remastered re-release of the fifth full-length studio album by legendary American Thrash/Heavy Metal band.
Metallica’s eponymous album, better known as "The Black Album", is remastered! This reissue is remastered for ultimate sound quality!! The standard album is remastered by Bob Ludwig at Gateway Mastering, and all other content is remastered by Reuben Cohen at Lurssen Mastering. All content was overseen by executive producer Greg Fidelman.
Released on August 13, 1991, “Metallica” was a departure from the Thrash Metal style of Metallica's previous four albums and saw the band moving towards a more commercial Heavy Metal sound. Many fans consider the album the initial turning point in their music, where "old" and "new" Metallica are distinguished from one another.
"The Black Album" is one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed records of all time, with global sales of over 35 million, and contains a series of unrelenting singles, "Enter Sandman", "The Unforgiven", "Nothing Else Matters", "Wherever I May Roam", and "Sad But True". It debuted at number one in ten countries and spent four consecutive weeks at the top of the Billboard 200, making it Metallica's first album to top the album charts. "Metallica" is the band's best-selling album to date, with over 16 million copies sold in the United States. It is one of the best-selling albums worldwide, and also one of the best-selling albums in the United States since Nielsen SoundScan tracking began. Up to 2012, the album was certified 16× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In 2020, the album was ranked number 235 on Rolling Stone's "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time" list. In December 2019, "Metallica" became the fourth release in American history to enter the 550-week milestone on the Billboard 200. It also became the second longest-charting traditional title in history, and the second to spend 550 weeks on the album charts.
Limited Edition to 52 000 numbered copies, Deluxe Numbered Box Set (with magnetic flap) comes in custom packing box and outer cardboard sleeve, and includes the "Metallica" album remastered on 180-gram Double LP and CD, "Sad But True" 12" Picture EP, "Live At Wembley" 12" EP, "Live In Moscow" Double LP, 13 x Bonus CDs and 6 x DVDs (all DVDs are region-free), featuring unreleased content (live shows, rough mixes, demos, etc), MP3 download card of all audio, four tour laminates, lanyard, three lithos, three guitar picks, lyric folder and sheets, and a 120-page hard-cover book with never-before-seen photos + stories from those who were there.

30th Anniversary Limited Deluxe Edition remastered re-release of the fifth full-length studio album by legendary American Thrash/Heavy Metal band.
Metallica’s eponymous album, better known as "The Black Album", is remastered! This reissue is remastered for ultimate sound quality!! T..
The fifth full-length studio album by legendary American Thrash/Heavy Metal band.
Metallica’s eponymous album, better known as "The Black Album".
