The first re-release of the seventh full-length studio album by legendary German Hard’n’Heavy band.
"Animal Magnetism" is the one of the most awesome records Scorpions ever did, in the same level of their most popular famous releases. This one is quite unpredictable. Most people might have expected an absolutely similar work to its predecessor, after the crushing success it achieved. Surprise, this doesn’t sound like the previous LP at all. There are a few similarities, though, like the loose tempos and omnipresent massive riffing. As advanced and refreshing for those times as its predecessor, as heavy and fierce as its successor, just a bit quieter. Here you will find some of the most killer riffs the combo Jabs - Schenker ever created and played. Also, their most underrated ballad ever, "Lady Starlight", probably the deepest and most sentimental from their whole career. Don’t hesitate to check this out, you might get a big surprise!
The exceptional cover artwork by Hipgnosis’ Mr. Thorgerson makes this LP even more seductive and provocative, not as explicit and scandalous as the previous album, but still has some subliminal sexual message…

The eleventh full-length studio album by legendary German Hard’n’Heavy band.
The band's first album in a decade and a half to not be produced by Dieter Dierks and is widely considered to be the last "classic" Scorpions album. It was the last studio album to feature the "Lovedrive" - era lineup, with bassist Francis Buchholz leaving the band in January 1992.
After the release of "Savage Amusement" in 1988, the Scorpions expressed disdain toward the album, feeling that it was too polished when compared to their other work. Their longtime producer, Dieter Dierks, was replaced with well-known Rock producer Keith Olsen, who would produce "Crazy World" and assist in making it one of the Scorpions' greatest recordings. Their music had certainly changed since "Savage Amusement", sounding a little bit heavier and less glamorous. But even with the Metal sound, the songs remain melodic and catchy. The power ballads on the album, "Wind of Change" and "Send Me an Angel", are arguably two of the band's greatest slow numbers, boasting soothing harmony and lyrics.
"Crazy World" peaked at number 21 on Billboard 200 Chart in 1991. The song "Wind of Change" reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1991, and "Send Me an Angel" reached number 44 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. In the UK, it remains the only Scorpions album to attain Silver certification (60,000 units sold) by the British Phonographic Industry, achieving this in November 1991. In the United States, it is the band's second best-selling album to 1984's "Love At First Sting", and their last one to be certified at least Gold by the RIAA.
"Crazy World" remains the Scorpions' finest '90s album and is sure to please its listeners!

The ninth full-length studio album by legendary German Hard’n’Heavy band.
Although the Scorpions had already achieved fame after 1982's "Blackout", "Love At First Sting" brought them their biggest Single of the decade, the slick anthem "Rock You Like A Hurricane," with some greatly underrated songs to back it up.
The album opens with the hair-raising "Bad Boys Running Wild" and continues with songs such as the memorable "Big City Nights" and the half-ballad, half-powerhouse rocker "Coming Home". The record also contains what just may be the band's best ballad ever, the tear-jerking "Still Loving You".
“Love At First Sting” became the most successful album of the band in the USA, where it peaked at number 6 on the Billboard 200 chart in 1984 and went triple Platinum. The song "Rock You Like a Hurricane" reached number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the same year; "Still Loving You" reached number 64 on the same chart, number 14 in Germany, number 2 in the French and Swiss Top 50.
Considering the fact that the album has some of their best-ever Singles, "Love At First Sting" is definitely a must for all fans of the Scorpions. This album is notable in that it was one of the first digitally recorded Heavy Metal albums ever released.

The first re-release of the sixth full-length studio album by legendary German Hard’n’Heavy band.
Being the band’s first album to be released by Harvest/EMI, following the band's departure from RCA label, “Lovedrive” was a major evolution of the band's sound, which exhibited their classic style that would be later developed over their next few albums.
Prior to "Lovedrive" recording, the Scorpions' line-up had a major change when their lead guitarist, Uli Jon Roth, quit the band. Michael Schenker, younger brother of rhythm guitarist Rudolf Schenker, performed lead guitar on 3 songs. This was also the first album to feature Matthias Jabs on lead guitar, and by extent, first to feature the band's "classic" line-up. With this in mind, the band not only highlighted the album with the licks and riffs of three guitarists (Rudolf Schenker, Michael Schenker, Matthias Jabs), but they also dramatically changed their style to sound more like that of Van Halen. This change is quite welcome; not only are the performances more unpredictable, but the lyrics and melodies are better written. In fact, some of the Scorpions' best songs, such as "Loving You Sunday Morning", "Holiday" and "Coast to Coast" are found here, making it one of their finest!
"Lovedrive" reached No. 55 on the US charts, demonstrating that the band was gathering an international following. Album certified as Gold on 28 May 1986 by the RIAA and ranked 25 on IGN's list of the top 25 Metal Albums.

The tenth full-length studio album by legendary German Hard’n’Heavy band.
The Scorpions' two previous releases, "Blackout" and "Love At First Sting", were mostly successful due to the band's ability to adjust with the times; with "Blackout", they used the classic Power Rock introduced by bands like Van Halen, and for "Love At First Sting" they used similar melodies, but with a harder, tighter sound akin to the work of such bands as Dokken and REO Speedwagon. With "Savage Amusement", the band's first studio recording in almost four years, the Scorpions experimented with more polished Hair Metal melodies that Def Leppard and the like had made popular. The end result is polished and often predictable music that, while good, on the whole fails to be as infectious as the music on their previous albums.
The album peaked at No. 5 in the US and was certified Platinum by the RIAA on June 20, 1988.
It was the last Scorpions record to be produced by Dieter Dierks.

The sixth Single by legendary Irish Alternative Rock/Hip Hop singer.
"Nothing Compares 2 U" is a song written by legendary American musician Prince as a demo in 1984. In 1985, Prince's Funk band The Family released their sole studio album, "The Family", including "Nothing Compares 2 U". It was not released as a Single and received little recognition. Sinéad O'Connor recorded a version of "Nothing Compares 2 U" for her second studio album, "I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got", with a new arrangement by her and the producer Nellee Hooper. O'Connor's version is in the key of F major. The song was released as the album's second Single in early 1990. Its music video received heavy rotation on MTV. The video won three "Moonmen" at the 1990 MTV Video Music Awards: Video of the Year (O'Connor was the first female artist to be awarded it), Best Female Video and Best Post-Modern Video. It was nominated for Breakthrough Video, Viewer's Choice and International Viewer's Choice during the ceremony. The video was also the subject of many parodies and spoofs, such as Gina Riley's parody "Nothing Is There" on Fast Forward, referring to the fact that O'Connor tended to shave her head bald.
O'Connor's version was a worldwide hit, topping charts in O'Connor's native Ireland, Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States (plus Top Five in France). In the United States it spent four weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100; in addition, it was number one on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart and reached number two on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart (held off the top position by Rod Stewart's "This Old Heart of Mine" for three weeks). On terms of its chart performance on the Hot 100, it ranked number three for 1990. In the United Kingdom, the Single ranked number two for the year, behind a re-release of the Righteous Brothers' "Unchained Melody". On April 1990, it was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. At the second of its four weeks at number one, the record's parent album "I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got" started a six-week run at number one on the Billboard 200. It was certified Platinum in Austria and in the United Kingdom, and Gold in Germany and in Sweden. In December 1990, Billboard named "Nothing Compares 2 U" the "#1 World Single" of 1990 at its first Billboard Music Awards.
In 2019, the Single ranked 97 in a Hot 100 60th-anniversary Top 600, covering the period from 1958 to 2018. In July 2023, days after O'Connor's death, "Nothing Compares 2 U" reappeared on the UK Top 100 at number 45, and charted at number 1 on the UK Singles Downloads Chart.
In 2003, Q magazine ranked "Nothing Compares 2 U" at number 242 in their list of the "1001 Best Songs Ever".
It was included at number 165 by Rolling Stone in its list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time".
In 2007, VH1 ranked O'Connor's rendition number 10 of the "100 Greatest Songs of the 90s".
In September 2010, Pitchfork included the song at number 37 on their Top 200 Tracks of the 90s.
The song was listed at number 77 on Billboard's "Greatest Songs of All Time".
Time Magazine included "Nothing Compares 2 U" in its 2011 (unranked) list of "All-TIME 100 Songs".
In 2012, Porcys listed the song at number 60 in their ranking of "100 Singles 1990-1999", noting that "it's probably one of the noblest, most dignified slow songs of the decade".
On May 4th 2016, the song was simulcast on radio stations throughout the United States to commemorate Prince 15 days after his death.
In 2019, Stacker placed the song at number 20 in their list of "Best 90s pop songs".
In 2020, The Guardian ranked the song at number 12 in its list of the "100 Greatest UK No 1s".
In 2020, Cleveland.com ranked "Nothing Compares 2 U" the best Billboard Hot 100 number-one song of the 1990s in 2020, calling it "one of the greatest love songs ever written".
The song was included at number 184 by Rolling Stone in its 2021 update list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time".
In 2024, Annie Lennox, accompanied by Wendy & Lisa, sang this song at the 2024 Grammy Awards, during the "In Memoriam" segment as a tribute to O'Connor.

The eighth full-length studio album by legendary American Thrash Metal band.
The second studio album of the band to feature drummer Paul Bostaph.
The album became the first record of the band recorded with a low order and was designated by the band as the most experimental album. It is to be played mostly in Drop C# tuning. The album's title is a Latin term for "The Devil in Music", a musical interval known for its dissonance.
Lyrical themes explored on the album include religion, cultural deviance, death, insanity, war, and homicide. Guitarist Jeff Hanneman wrote most of the album's content.
This is an album everybody can enjoy. It bears the heaviness that many fans enjoy, while maintaining that fast-paced Thrash element fans of classic Slayer look for. It progresses beyond the stale sound developed from "Divine Intervention" and "Undisputed Attitude". Finally, it honestly and wholeheartedly kicks ass!
The album received fairly critical reviews and despite this it sold in the amount of 46 000 copies in the first week and reached position number 31 on the Billboard 200. As of August 16, 2006 the album has sold 290 000 copies in the United States.
