The eleventh full-length album by the legendary German Thrash Metal band.
Destruction was the most traditionalists of the big three German thrash bands: where Sodom and Kreator headed in a Punkier direction, frequently aiming for pure aggression at the expense of melody, Destruction always retained a classic Metal feel. They wanted audiences to mosh, but they also wanted to write songs with memorable choruses and heroic guitar solos. Band have continued to do that for over 25 years, with founding bassist/vocalist Marco Schirmer's (he left for a decade, but nobody likes to talk about those years) hoarse shriek the perfect counterpoint to the band's downtuned, percussive riffing. The first statements from the band are promising for the oldschool fans, a faster and turbulent album than the 2008's "D.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N." that will go more 'back to the roots'. This album is an excellent example of 21st century Destruction, up there with early-2000s releases like "The Antichrist" and "Metal Discharge", and much better than, say, 2005's mediocre "Inventor Of Evil".
The songs have the churn of a truck in low gear, proceeding relentlessly uphill before the inevitable frantic, skidding slide down the other side.
The lyrics may not be all that memorable, but with track titles like "Hate Is My Fuel", "Armageddonizer", "Sheep of the Regime", "Sorcerer of Black Magic" and the like, you pretty much know what you're getting: a little bit of angry political ranting and a little bit of rote occultism, all set to Tribal-meets-Punk drumming and Grinding guitars.
Longtime fans of these guys will be very pleased that after nearly 30 years, they're every bit as powerful as they ever were!!

The fourth compilation album by legendary German Thrash Metal band.
Back in the beginning of the nineties, things weren’t that rosy in the already then legendary Destruction. It ended up with bassist/vocalist Schmier being kicked out of the band and replaced with Poltergeist screamer André Greider, who did a great job on the quite rocking “Cracked Brain” album. Then André was replaced by Ephemera’s Party vocalist Thomas Rosenmerkel on the quite off the wall album “The Least Successful Human Cannonball”. That didn’t really work out in any way… When Schmier returned to Destruciton in 1999, together with drummer Sven Vormann, 3 demo tracks were recorded under the slashing name "The Butcher Strikes Back", giving the band a new label deal. The demo paid off, the band got signed by Nuclear Blast, which marked Destruction back on track as the one of the kings of the Teutonic Four. And Destruction was finally back!
These demo tracks, together with some Japan bonus tracks, and Wacken live tracks were released in autumn 2022 on CD, LP and MC.

The debut full-length studio album by Swedish Melodic Death/Thrash/Black Metal band.
Including two ex-members of Marduk in line-up (lead singer Legion and drummer Emil Dragutinovic), it's a departure from Marduk, but not a radical departure. Marduk has a reputation for being a brutal, nasty, vicious sledgehammer of a Black Metal band; Devian is also a brutal, nasty, vicious sledgehammer of a Black Metal band, but with Thrashy riffs and more overtly mindful of Scandinavian Death Metal.
That Death Metal influence doesn't assert itself vocally; Legion's vocal style continues to be the sinister Death Metal rasp that Black Metal singers are known for, not the "Cookie Monster" growl of Death Metal. Rather, the Death Metal influence on "Ninewinged Serpent" is musical instead of vocal; the songs themselves are often structured in a way that allows for Death Metal-influenced guitar solos and a lot of Thrashiness.
Nonetheless, it would be inaccurate to describe this 56-minute CD as Blackened Death Metal. The term Blackened Death Metal refers to Extreme Metal that is essentially Death Metal yet incorporates Black Metal elements, but "Ninewinged Serpent" is the opposite - it is Black Metal with Death Metal elements (and Thrash Metal elements as well), not Death Metal with Black Metal elements. If "Ninewinged Serpent" contained Symphonic Black Metal, it would be accurate to describe it as a radical departure from Marduk (who never had any interest in playing Symphonic Black Metal). But again, this album is a departure from Marduk without being a radical one, and while "Ninewinged Serpent" isn't the least bit groundbreaking, it is still a decent post-Marduk outing for Legion and Dragutinovic.

The first three tracks are from their "Thy Immortal Majesty" EP (2015), and track five is a re-recording of a track from the "Відчуження" demo (2008). The record feels like a complete work, however, weaving Doomy passages in a thick atmosphere of dread.

Devil's Train - the band featuring Mystic Prophecy mainman/producer Roberto Dimitri Liapakis, ex-Stratovarius drummer Jörg Michael, Greek guitarist Lakis Ragazas, and ex-Symfonia/Stratovarius bassist Jari Kainulainen - has released its sophomore album, once again recorded at Prophecy & Music Factory Studios in Germany with Liapakis in the producer chair.
Feast of pure Rock 'n' Roll, with all the heaviness, and, as always, full of heart and soul. But at the same time, it's taking to the next level in terms of composition, flavor and edge. Fetching riffing is blowing you away, Liapakis has a gravel-throated Bluesy style of singing and the rhythm section puts down the perfect foundation for these songs that brim with energy. Without any doubt there will be a forceful technical team behind this band, since the sound happens to be more than overwhelming, but it does not disguise the music’s quality. That’s top notch anyway!!

"Temporality" is a grittier, more aggressive album than those before it. There is an equal blend of energy and grit that is then enhanced with melody. Melody and aggression is something DIAMOND DRIVE has been making work for them for quite some time.
The band has released three EPs since 2006, and because of their unique approach to music, they have been hard to label by critics. All EPs were received with high regards from fans and critics alike. Throughout the journey of this band, they have experienced great setbacks as well as triumphs, such as when their original lead singer was replaced. The new material was more Rock meets Metal in an astounding way. Once again the band was received with remarkable marks!
Their drummer later exited the band, was replaced and so began their trek of making their very first full length album, so named "Temporality".
Their journey included playing with more known bands including, but not limited to Arch Enemy and Suffocation.

Re-release of the second compilation album by the legendary British Heavy Metal/NWOBHM band.
The band is recognized as one of the leading members of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal and is acknowledged by later bands like Metallica and Megadeth as an important early influence.
This compilation originally was released on vinyl in 1987 by FM Revolver Records and first time released on CD by Heavy Metal Records in 1994.
This album contains early recordings of the tracks from Diamond Head's 1982 debut full-length "Borrowed Time", except "Call Me", plus two extra tracks "Dead Reckoning" and "Sucking My Love". The latter was previously released on the bands 1980 debut "Lightning To The Nations". The former had already been released on two previous Diamond Head records. It appears on the "Four Cuts" EP and as a B-side to the single "Call Me"; both were released by MCA in 1982 (however, the 7" version of "Call Me" was only released in France).
The songs off this compilation are much less polished compared to their "Borrowed Time" versions. Many fans prefer the versions of the songs on this album as many blamed Diamond Head's previous label, MCA, of trying to over commercialize the band.
Really unique and interesting album! Very recommendable!!

The music of the album was inspired by Death Metal classics – the first albums of Death, Six Feet Under, Massacre...
According to Roman Diamond, the mastermind of the band, “this CD is a must-have for each fan of Metal as it was created by a metalhead and for metalheads. You can listen to it everywhere: at the party, on the shop floor or while burning the road in a car or on a motorbike. Diamond plays a mixture of Thrash and Death Metal that has a tendency bring up bands like Six Feet Under, Massacre (due to Roman's grunting vocal delivery) and Vader (due to the very technical approach to their music). The guys made a good job and presented a high-quality musical product (both in terms of performance and record) masterfully bringing the best traditions of pure Death Metal to the modern level. As a result, the album sounds not like a compilation of retro hits of the first part of the 90s – it’s an independent and challenging musical canvas. In fact, Diamond kicks some serious asses! You really cannot go wrong with Diamond's stuff; it has many ingredients that will make you want to check out this relatively unknown Russian act. Oh and it doesn't matter if you like them or not as the album title states loud and clear; F**k Your Opinion!! there.

On their eighth album, Die Apokalyptischen Reiter follow the more accessible direction of its predecessor "Licht", offering few of the grunted and growled vocals of their earlier efforts. The record is slightly darker and heavier than their last one, however, and the band's Extreme Metal remains as vital as ever, incorporating elements such as Eastern sounds, Spanish guitars, and a trumpet. "Moral & Wahnsinn" reached number 18 on the German charts, the band's highest chart position so far.

Deluxe edition of the ninth full-length studio album by cult German Heavy Metal/Hard Rock band.
"Tief, Tiefer" is more melodic and a little less heavy in comparison to their previous albums, but it's works really well for the band and showcases their clever musicianship and adaptable skills.
The album gets a really good kick-off with the opening track, “Freiheit, Gleichheit, Brüderlichkeit”. Guitarist, Ady, produces solid, heavy riffs which, combined with banging drums by Sir G and dirty groove bass work by Volk-Man, makes the song complete. It’s an incredibly catchy track, that instantly hooks new and old fans and strongly persuades them to continue listening to the rest of the album. The raucous vocals from Fuchs adapt and change, displaying a heavy side before switching to a softer choral melody. The album rolls into the second track, “Wir” – another headbanging masterpiece! Fuchs’ vocals are again heavier, seemingly influenced by Death Metal whereas the keyboards and symphonies are shaped more by the Symphonic Black Metal genre. The song is structured and well-accompanied by catchy guitar riffs, whilst the drums follow a more Rock styled beat which, when added to the different style given through the vocals, creates another great song.
“Wo Es Dich Gibt” leads with a beautiful introduction performed by Dr. Pest, his soft vocal style accompanied by a strong, catchy riff-laden guitar, which leave you banging your head to this groove-ridden song. Similarly, “Ein Leichtes Mädchen” and “Es Wird Nacht” take softer approaches in regards to vocals; however, it displays the bands Rock influence which is then overlaid with melodies from keyboards and guitar. “Ein Vöglein” offers us a softer side of Die Apokalyptischen Reiter. Accompanied only by the piano, Fachs’ incredible heartfelt vocals reveal his true capabilities and talent. On the other hand, tracks such as “Was Bleibt Bin Ich” and “Die Wahrheit” are the diverse and polar opposites, drawing straight from Rock influences, with vocals ranging from Hardcore edge, being rather distorted and then cleanly sung. The guitar sounds more technical throughout these songs and dispenses deep grooves and fast up-beat riffs. However, the use of keyboards during “2 Teuful”, to create a small melody section, adds further diversity to their style and this album shows how combining a number of genres can really work well together. “Die Welt Ist Tief” is an interesting track and offers brilliant riffs where you can head-bang to your heart’s content – or if you’re more inclined, to generally just go nuts inside the moshpit. Then again, the melodies and riffs created by the guitar sound are not dissimilar to System Of A Down.
Overall, "Tief Tiefer" offers us plenty on the spectrum of musical styles, ranging from Classical to Rock, to Symphonic Black and Death Metal, and that, combined with powerful vocals and catchy riffs make this album seem somewhat “anthemic”!
