The second release is also a conceptual album, but unlike the debut, compositions do not form a chronological story, but are "novellas" connected by common ground.  Each track describes one of the characters - the titled "faces" are the ghosts of the past and memories, which are connected by the fact that they exerted a great influence on Chaos Engine Research members.
This time, the songs are more compact in their form, and the whole record is more aggressive and devoid of melodic vocal parts. This makes "Faces" a more "raw" album, veering towards Death Metal territory. It's still Groove Metal, but certainly more brutal and dark than the debut was.
Soundwise, it's definitely more of a guitar album. A lot of effort was put into the arrangement and preparation of vocal lines, so that the message is understandable for the listeners, even when the vocals operate in the registers of growl and scream.
“Faces” can be recommended for fans of Groove Metal bands such Pantera, Sepultura, Machine Head or Slipknot, but also Death Metal fans. In general, all fans of the heavier sounds should be satisfied.
“Faces” was recorded and mixed by Przemyslaw Wejmann in Perlazza Studio. The production is a cooperation of Przemek and the band. Mastering was done in Hertz Studio by Wojciech Wiesławski.

With their first album, CIRCLE STORY delivers some high quality material that features a bunch of hit potential songs. This eleven-track opus is all about variety. Of course in a good way. You can obviously hear some Grunge influences plus some low-tuned and 7-string riffing here and there. Catchy vocal melodies that won't go away after you stop listening, monumental arrangement with strings and keyboards and tasty guitar playing - that's also what the CIRCLE STORY debut contains.
With some Progressive twist that is present on some tracks, the band sounds like GOJIRA meets DREAM THEATER on some Modern Rock radio territory, which is also not bad at all. It is very hard to label this band, to tag this band. If you compare their music to fine arts - "Uncovered Fears" will be like canvas of many colors, hanging in a darkened room. It has everything good Rock or Metal album should have - arena choruses with well-thought-out guitars and rythm section. At a time when mediocrity pervades the music industry through and through, "Uncovered Fears" is a true gem to listen to. With its sincerity, deep emotion and immensity it should satisfy even the most picky listener.

"Infinite Torment" includes nine songs of Old School Apocalyptic Death/Thrash Metal. It seems that the guys just do not care what trends in music now fashionable. These five guys stuck tight in the first half of the nineties and cut the real old school! Even sound a little dry, takes us back to better times Entombed and other monsters of the Scandinavian scene.
Growling vocal also somewhat dry, as all the sound, supported bassist's backing vocal. This duo just mellifluous, after all those nowadays modern "singing" bands.
The undoubted advantage of the album is also its duration shall not exceed thirty minutes.

The debut full-length album by the Ukrainian Thrash/Groove Metal band.
Despite the fact that the "Game With Ghosts" is the first full-length album by this quartet, the musicians themselves is hardly a newcomers. The thing is that the founder of this project, Andrew Poliak, decided to revive the native band Euphoria, well known on extreme Death Metal scene back in the nineties. So what experience they D.Hate more than enough.
The band issued seven compositions in which Groove Metal intricately mixed with more modern Metal flow. Catchy Groove, in vein of Lamb Of God, and aggressive Metalcore straightness - that's what emphasize Ukrainian Metal band.
Strong point of this album - a perfectly balanced, catchy sound, perfectly supporting Ukrainian quartet style. Sound just excellent! And the sound and mixing on height and produce professional work experience. Already through this one, the album listen comfortably and not "scratch" the ears.

Blacksters from Kherson celebrated the tenth anniversary with the release of a mature record, clearly showing their creative views and proactive stance. Formed in August 2015 by ex- Exciter drummer Rik Charron, whose resume includes almost 20 years with legendary Canadian band, with five of their albums under his belt, this is the debut release of a new-born band Dark Ministry. In total, this heavy, extreme Thrash Metal band consists of dueling guitarists Max Neckshredder and David Tyo, the sonic assault of bassist Carlo Cote, extreme aggression vocalist Tyler Knapp, and aggressive, pounding attack of drummer Rik Charron.
The band traverses around a number of sub-genres, keeping things solid in a Traditional Heavy Metal format while occasionally veering into the Speed/Thrash or Groove Metal platforms. Riffs are sharp and aggressive. The voice of Tyler Knapp has one of those barking deliveries with aggression and old-school Hardcore singing (think Agnostic Front and D.R.I.).
The opener, “Killing Machine”, has a vicious, venomous attack, a charging guitar line with the vocals snarling against the arrangement in a classic back and forth Groove/Thrash arrangement that again hearkens back to the 1980’s with a lot of Anvil/ Exciter textures. Rik flexes more of his double bass proficiency and old Exciter speed on the follow up “Voodoo Sacrifice”, the main riff and changes, in line with Metallica meets Pantera. The exotic twin guitar lines make “Blood Driven” an easy highlight, the rhythm section works in line with straightforward Judas Priest power while the lead break has a lot of crazy bends and squeals to heighten the energy factor.
EP has already been heard on internet and FM stations in nine different countries around the world and sixteen in the United States. This EP is sure to please even the most heaviest and hardened Metal appetites. Mike Usifer, founder of Prime Evil, had a few words to say about Dark Ministry's music: "These songs kill! Awesome Extreme Thrash, heavy, I love it!". Maxxxwell Carlisle, guitarist for Hellion says: "These guys are going to make some serious waves in the Metal scene. The whole band is dripping with intensity and that perfect in-your-face Metal attitude!".
