Fabri Kiareli’s F.E.A.S.T. “Rise” /CD/

The debut full-length album by Italian Melodic Hard Rock band.
F.E.A.S.T. is the brainchild of Italian born singer and guitarist Fabri Kiareli, who was infected with the Rock’n’Roll virus at an early age when he heard The Who’s “Pinball Wizard”. Spending some of his teen years in Mexico his first musical influences came mostly from the nearby USA. Inspired by the guitar playing of Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhoads and Ace Frehley, Fabri teaches himself how to play guitar while rocking along to the riffs of his teenage idols. 
Upon his return to Italy in the mid-80s, he started playing in Heavy Rock bands, drawing his influences from outfits like Dokken, Def Leppard, Ratt and White Lion. After being around for a while, he got to the attention of Pino Scotto, the former lead vocalist of Vanadium, one of the most successful Rock bands in Italy at that time. With his own project, Pino still had a big following and so Fabri had the fortune to play in front of larger audiences. 
When the Grunge movement put Fabri’s Rock Star dreams to rest for a while, he started to explore different musical styles like Funk, Blues Rock and Soul. By that time, he also made his first experiences as a lead vocalist in a cover band. 
Over the course of the years, he earned himself a solid reputation as a guitar player and a background vocalist for studio sessions and for live concerts. Meanwhile he has played with some well-known national artists in Italy like Gianna Nannini, Dolce Nera and Tricarico and he still continues his work as a “hired gun”. 
When the new millennium dawned, Fabri rediscovered his old love for heavier sounds and he founded the band Mr. No, playing Rock covers as well as original material. With their busy touring schedule, the band became a staple in Northern Italy and Southern Switzerland.
The debut album “Rise” of Kiareli’s F.E.A.S.T. showcases the musical influences of its main man, ranging from straight ahead Heavy Rock anthems (“Fire And Dynamite”, “Feed The Hunger”, “(Ain’t Done) ‘Til It’s Over”) to Classic Rock power ballads (“Broken Dreams”, “Cold Hearted”), and from fast paced Metal tracks (“Win Or Lose”), to the epic masterpiece “The Meaning Of Life” and the Melodic Rock hymn “Follow The Way”.
Fabri handled most of the instruments on “Rise” himself, except for the drums.
